I recently attended Yerevan night at Veranda Restaurant and it was such a fantastic experience! The food is always great—I’ve been there countless times, and I’m never disappointed. They have delicious Armenian dishes, but there are also a ton of tasty options from other cuisines that are worth trying. A big shoutout to the management for putting together such an awesome event! You can tell they really care about creating a fun and memorable night. They always make everyone feel super welcome. The live Yerevan music was the cherry on top! Different talented artists played, and their performances brought a nostalgic atmosphere that made the evening even more special. Also, a huge thanks to the waitstaff. They were super friendly and on top of everything, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're in Glendale, you definitely need to check out Veranda Restaurant. It’s hands down the best spot for amazing food and a good time.

We were celebrating my friends birthday in this restaurant with more than 100 guests. Service was good. Food was great. Reach menu variety, fresh made and tasty. Overall had a great evening.

Veranda Restorant is amazing, especially the newly renovated PATIO (open during weekdays). The elegant interior and high-class customer service are top-notch, and the newly renovated PATIO is cozy and worm. The menu is extraordinary and high quality, and I will definitely be back soon. Thank you for the best service ever!

Online search shows they are open and reservations are being done online and we got here and some very rude dude stated they are closed. No apologies no explanation nothing just kept saying there is no way we could’ve made the reservation when we did and showed it to him

We visited LA recently and were invited by our friends to this restaurant. I will say that we did enjoy the food and the live music, however, I do want to mention to those who like to come here. Please BE AWARE!!! Check your bill before you pay, because they will charge you for something you have never ordered!!! After the dinner my husband asked for the bill, and it was huge! He paid without checking every item. After we left we decided to look at the copy and found out that they overcharged us over $100. We never ordered the bottle of red wine, which was $60 on the bill and some other alcohol beverage of bartender’s choice $22. Obviously taxed and tips, makes it even more. Those who drink alcohol, you will never know how much extra you paid if you don’t check your bill!

I was invited here to a birthday party. Being that I'm not a big fan of banquet halls, and quite critical of them, I did not have any desire to come. The reviews of Veranda were mixed, and the negative ones really caught my attention. I came here not expecting to be satisfied, and boy was I wrong. The food was amazing and they had a variety. I loved the baked fish, beef kabob and the lamb. The cheeses were great, salad was good. The food quality was very high and everything I had was delicious. The music was great, just a bit loud for my liking, but that's no biggie for me. I don't know where the negative reviews came from, but I would not be surprised if they're other restaurant/banquet owners just trying to tarnish a competitors reputation. I've been to other similar places where the food was not good. You will not be disappointed at this place when it comes to the quality and taste of their food.

The restaurant was pretty busy Wont argue ,The waiter forgot some things we ordered He had other tables to serve and theirs no complaints He was extremely polite and handsome (lol) The food was amazing,Bread wasn’t fresh,The drinks were delicious, The singers wore top Level.

Amazing food. High quality. Amazing ambiance. Amazing live music. We were in Veranda on 12/12/24 on Thursday night. Highly recommended. We loved it. We will definitely come back.

Just had lunch with my cousins at Veranda to celebrate my sisters birthday. The atmosphere here is amazing. Beautifully designed patio with a nice bar in the corner. The food was delicious and tastefully plated. I loved the appetizer shrimp. It was so fresh and flavorful. The flatbreads were also amazing so was the beet salad. Let's just say the food was great but I can't say the same for the drinks or the service. But overall I enjoyed the ambiance and the food very much. It's also a great place to host parties. It's a beautiful venue.

I threw my husband's 35th surprise birthday party here on a Friday night. It was so much fun, and everyone really enjoyed the food, ambiance and entertainment! We will gladly go back for another event or a night out. Restaurant takes care of everything, and I didn't have to worry about a thing (cake was delivered to them and preset menu). Highly recommend especially summer time with live music!

I was invited there for a birthday party skeptical at first, but it ended up being a great experience. The food is amazing. The ambience is amazing. The service was fast on top of it before you knew you wanted something. The server would bring it to you and the food quality was really good. The music was great so I definitely will go back there.

Overall, I give my experience a 4. Food: LOVE IT! Everything I ate tasted great! Salads were so fresh. Greedy place , charging 40$ for person for entertainment fee , 21 $ for regular bottle water. This is just insane l. Update: Hi, David! Thank you for your response. Let me kindly not agree with your respectful disagreement with me. First, nobody informed us about the $40 entertainment fee. Otherwise, it would be very illogical for us to go to the place knowing about the fee and then complain about it here. Secondly, and more importantly, if your bottle of water is only $7 and we were charged $21 instead (for 3 bottles 63$), that suggests someone on your team may be manipulating the prices without your knowledge. Unfortunately, I don't keep receipts from restaurants; otherwise, I would be happy to share it with you. However, I trust you have all the bills and charges recorded in your system, and you can verify this information--unless, of course, it was altered after we were charged $63 for 3 bottles of water. The day was - February 22 - 2024. (4 guest table)

I am NOT happy. I did my bridal shower here , the service toward me specifically by one server was very good but may i say i put desserts on the table and gave them a box of eclairs that were extra for later to put into the fridge about 20 of them in there we asked for them later to add more since people ate it and they returned the box from the kitchen with 7 eclairs in there! I had also received a gift from my maid of honor with 5 chocolates wrapped up and glued to the box and apparently one of the servers told my relative i need to take this chocolate from here and he took one! HOW DO YOU NOT ASK ME, How do you take something, what if it wasn't chocolate and it was a tiny sentimental gift wrapped for me.... thought workers are there to work not eat our food. On top of that - one of my aunts asked the server for something and he said "im not a server here dont ask me" then we see him cleaning up with the rest of the servers - so disappointing , they also charged 7 extra seats for the men coming later to clean the table fully before the men even came we asked them 4 times to warm up a couple of food for the men to eat and they didnt even do anything , men didnt even touch nor sit down to eat. So we paid extra 7 people for what?! Im just not happy with this place.

I attended a bridal shower here earlier today. It was in the terrace,very airy and nice. We were greeted by staff. Table set up were very pretty and elegant however food was so so. Serving mostly to mediterranean diet consuming community, they really have to up their menu because they have serious competition in the area. Servers were around in the beginning when we first sat. Offered us drinks and of course brought the hot food and appetizers but disappeared after! Some of us needed glasses, napkins and silverware but could not find anyone to ask for for a long time so gave up. It was a very hot day. Wine and champagne were warm but there was no ice on tables.Empty dishes piled up on table. Our plates did not change at all while they serve the cake so we ate the cake and desserts in greasy china. We were there to celebrate and had a great time but the venue needs work in the kitchen and training their servers.

Literally everything was bomb. Felt welcomed from the moment we walked in to the last second. The waiters were unusually nice and attentive!! They met all our needs as soon as it was asked. The food was soooo delicious- so much so that we've been wanting to come back for the whole week. The hookah was also good and lasting. Good food, good vibe, good place to hang out or party.

The rudest servers. God forbid you get up from your seat to go dance or say hello to friends . They skip you in serving . When you ask to serve you and other guests on the table. The rude server comes stands and loudly asks, who didn't get served? Then turns around to that one guest says because you were late, you came late. Meanwhile 5 people on the same table were not served Such a lame server/manager. Don't embarrass people specially ladies when you are an asshole yourself. The servers should go to an etiquette school before getting hired. Will not recommend this place at all.

We had a great time at Veranda last night! The food was delicious and fresh, our waiter Misha was very friendly and provided us with the greatest service, was always there for us when we needed him! Oh... where to find words to describe the atmosphere at this place? It is just amazing, the lights, decorations, effects, etc They got some top musicians singing and playing all night!!! Great experience, awesome job, you guys!

During the summer heat being in the outer patio banquet hall is insufferable. They do not have an AC installed for that specific area. The windows are not enough. The banquet hall beside has AC and guests are not allowed to open doors between the conjoining spaces, when opened they're immediately closed by the servers. It would be nice if they came up with a way to keep the area cool instead of using small fans that do not get the job done. The serves are rude and not understanding whatsoever. Do better.

I just love this place. We come here at least once a week during the week and have AMAZING food and the entertainment is just unbelievable on their newly renovated patio. Highly recommend this place if you want to chill and have delicious cocktails and amazingly delicious food...entertainment is as amazing as the food.

Celebrated One year old birthday in style. My friend did the moon walk just to show how the vibes never die. The food is always quality and there's lots of space. Great drinks top shelf options and super clean. There's outdoor space along with indoor. Lots dance space and hookah as well.

Such a joyous occasion was hosted at this cozy, newly remodeled and trendy restaurant/banquet hall. Hooray!!! My cousin and his wife had their "baby boy shower" at this location. It was a good choice and we had a blast. Newly remodeled and reopened under new ownership, this place has two banquet halls for all occasions. If you planned on having private parties, huge wedding or just a table for two they would accommodate. According to Russian and Armenian traditions: good & tasty food (tons of it)and drinks for everyone always a must. Honestly, food was very delicious, fresh and of course, tons of it. We had 3 types of salads. Arugula with beef tongue, shredded beets and carrots mixed with avocado oil, spinach and kale with nuts and cranberries. Than appetizers: shrimp cocktails, seafood delight, blinchik (crapes rolled with ground beef and fried) black & red caviar. For the main course: beef, chicken and pork bbq, rice pilaf, steak cut fries and salmon fillet. Waiters were excellent: polite, very professional and delightful. The dessert table, which was tastefully decorated (had to give credits to my cousins friend, who actually threw the baby shower for them) had the yummiest cake, cupcakes, Jell-O shots and chocolate "favors" Also you had an option of either live music, DJ or your iPod music (your own music idea works with smaller groups) Great place for great occasions, great food and great ambiance.

This is not your average restaurant or banquet hall. It has a really cute patio if you chose to shit there instead. I've always come here for a bridal shower. (3 different times. And once for a baby welcome). What's different about this place, is they have a huge selection of appetizers, not your typical Mediterranean appetizers only. You get more, and the taste is top notch. Additionally, Veranda has the most amazing service EVER!!!

March 16, 2024 we celebrated my son's 21st birthday at Veranda Restaurant. I just wanted to say how thankful I am for choosing them as my venue. I had 180 guests and every single individual, including myself, was so satisfied for their excellent service and professionalism. Food was beyond amazing. We had such a great experience and would recommend this venue to everyone! Thank you so much Armen !

I will not recommend anyone to this restaurant, 1st music is so loud, service was ok, And the worse thing they allowed their costumes smoke Cigarettes, Cigar, and Hukkah, they have no restrictions about smoking, foods also over Price.

I hardly leave reviews anywhere, but..OMG what an awful staff, lack of customer service, and downright rude! Today is Sunday and we had a celebration there reserved (unfortunately) and let me tell you it was straight from a horror movie! They sat us down a party of 70 OUTSIDE 2nd floor patio at 110° we asked for fans at least and they replied we don't have them when asked what do you mean should we bring our own? Without hesitation reply was yes! To top it all off the catering was horrible and downright dangerously old and spoiled. I have no doubt in my mind that they were serving us leftovers from their Fri-Sat reservation tables. Shrimp looked dark purplish, bacon jalapeños looked all spoiled and rotten. They keep doing this thievery and eventually gonna end up food poison killing someone! BTW: They actually stole more than half of the 70 party size cake back there at their kitchen after handing it over to be served.. All 70 people went back home sweating, disgusted and hungry from a bridal shower. Unreal! A ruined bridal shower and 5K down the drain! A HUGE DISASTER! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ITS A DUMP! If I could give -10 I would! Shame on them for running such a lousy dangerous business! BBB will hear from me as well as the FDA and the CDC! Edit response: So you're claiming you trash the old food and always prep fresh. Well, luckily I was able to salvage a couple of pics to show people and call you out on your false claim. Take a look at it yourself (in case you forgot with the convenience of selective memory) what was served in what condition! As far as I know they haven't invented BLACK AVOCADOS yet, I'm sure you'll relate to this arrogant comment as it's your style of response to me and a lot of others in your past comments. (Not very professional to say the least).. You claim you don't steal a cake you can afford your own but funny enough, rolling through past comments I actually saw another person stating the same problem. So maybe sometimes it's affordable and sometimes it isn't based on the look and the taste of it? Instead of running a circus you'd be better off to stop and take a good long look at what the issues are and find a solutuin to improve. If you can afford your cake perhaps your staff can't because half of a 70 party size cake just can't vanish in the thin air.. Lastly, the couple of fans you're stating you have are on a high probably 14ft high ceiling that do nothing for anyone and if you can't afford to take care of your clients by providing a couple of portable fans we can, but don't you think it's only proper to let the reserving party know that ahead of time before putting them in a sauna?

I did my bridal shower at Veranda yesterday and I must say everything was absolute PERFECTION. From the aesthetic of the venue, to the waiters, to the food. From the day I went to view the place for booking until the day of my event, they have been very accommodating and professional. The waiters were a solid 10/10 yesterday. They were extremely attentive all throughout the event and made sure everything was going smoothly. Would highly recommend! Thank you for the amazing experience!

I recently had a private event for my engagement party at Veranda and let me tell you it was amazing! I have received many compliments from my guests like never before about the music, food, and venue itself. Management is also very easy going and helped me with the entire process. I would definitely recommend to celebrate any occasion at Veranda.

Seriously ?? average at best service and the food is absolute garbage. Everything tasted way off and old. My friend got food poisoning and was on the toilet all night. For the price there are many other restaurants in the area. This was our first and last time. $130 per person ?? are you kidding me??!!! Salads were all old and tasted bad, bbq was dry and disgusting, What an absolute disaster! Never again!

There is a concert at this venue tonight. I tried to get tickets. When I left a message, no one returned my call. I called back. I was told the tickets were not available yet (less than a week before the show). I left a name and number with promises that I would hear from them once tickets were available. I never heard from them. Totally unprofessional.

Amazing Venue!! There are so many elements that make a Venue great! The The Food, The atmosphere ,the overall service and experience I had my Bridal Shower here in September This Venue is amazing!!! Outstanding in the quality of food, service delicious appetizers and entree's. The Owners and staff were absolutely incredible very friendly I felt welcomed there from the beginning stages of planning until the very end . The wait staff during our event were outstanding , professional,attentive and friendly. We all had an incredible time . The atmosphere was fun and inviting . The venue is absolutely beautiful and clean . My Shower was perfect and memorable I am forever grateful !

Veranda has been a favorite place to go to with friends and family for a while now. First of all, the service is unmatched - the waiters, the bartenders. The kitchen is most likely the best I've had in LA. With food ranging fron light appetizers to dinner plates, everything is always delicious and the chef never fails to impress. And lastly, the atmosphere is super welcoming and open for any celebrations with big groups. Overall, definitely a top place in LA.

Stay away if you have a large party!!!!! We reserved here for 30 people to celebrate my moms 60th bday. I was highly recommended to go here because of the live entertainment and food. Anyways I called Armen the manager there and asked to make sure we are NOT SEATED NEAR THE WALLS, THE BATHROOMS OR EXIT!!!! I said my mom is very particular about seating, please do your best to get us seated in a nice area. He assured me we'd have 3 round tables (which are seated in the middle) and that he'd do his best to Accommodate us! What does veranda/he do?! They sit us in long rectangle tables AGAINST THE WALL RIGHT NEXT TO THE EXIT NEXT TO THE BATHROOMS!!! Lowkey felt like this guy sat us here on purpose. Our food was cold by the time we sat down because of the breeze near the exit. Everyone was crammed in together because of the tables and being seated right against the wall! my whole party was uncomfortable! We actually had cold food the entire time. Mind you that's all for package #2 which is $140 per person. Also the main course foods that's pictured is half or what you get!!!! By the time the meats were all served, half the table didn't get kebabs. I've never gone to a middle eastern/Armenian restaurant where the food is shorted!!! That was so weird to me!!!! The dance floor was tiny so you couldn't even dance, oh and we were behind a pillar so we couldn't even see anything! but I have to say the only thing that was good was the live entertainment. Had they sat us in the round tables like we had discussed everything would have came out better. We felt like the peasants in the restaurants with where we were seated, it wasn't nice and it wasn't fair because we were the largest party there and got the shittiest seating! Mark my words i will never come here again! A girl felt Bamboozled and played to say the least. My mom also wasn't happy, thanks for messing up her night! :(

Their Patio Experience is phenomenal! I am writing this review as i am eating... All I can say is wow!! Barvo to the whole team, especially in the kitchen!!! Also, they are following all of the safety protocols for covid-19 and the safety! Definitely will come back here! Love the vibe and food!!

I don't even know where to start :) this is my favorite place for many reasons! First of all as a customer I appreciate the customer service, especially from Andrei and along that they have the best choice of food and beverages! Not to mention the live music that creates a great vibe while enjoying your dinner! Definitely recommend this place for your special occasions or even when you just need to enjoy yourself!

The words are not enough to express my impression about this restaurant. The dishes are die for! The cosy atmosphere and great service are exceptional. The waitress Sheyla is amazing. Her service is unmatched. Every time she brought dishes with her beautiful smile on her face. Whatever we tried, was literally melted in our mouths! The owner is a super nice and a very professional man who creates an unbelievably welcoming and warm atmosphere! This restaurant is really one of a kind.

Today was my sister's baby shower, we had an amazing time and everyone was so impressed with the service we were provided. The waiters were soooooooo friendly, Ara and Andre were seriously the cutest!!!!! They really did an amazing job. We will see them again in a month and then again when my nephew is baptized. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Let me tell you this place is amazing in service, quality of food, atmosphere and organization. I have had many parties in the past, from birthday to showers, engagement party and wedding party. I have dealt with many banquet halls/ restaurants. However, veranda just set a new bar for what to expect. The staff is so genuinely friendly. And i mean genuine ! They were so attentive to the guests and the host it was amazing. Truly was able to enjoy my event because of this. They labeled everything they packed for us !!! We had some alcohol left over, food and cake and they labeled this ! I had never seen this done anywhere else ! Thank you !!! The food was delicious all my guests were happy mentioning the tastiness and freshness of the food. Thank you Veranda Jan for making my sons first birthday /christening a very memorable one that my guests and I enjoyed very much !

Veranda is one of my favorite restaurant. Good food ,good Music and atmosphere is very enjoyable. Also all team and waitresses are very helpful, we celebrate my mom's birthday last week & we have a great time. I highly recommend this restaurant! thank you:)

I was at Veranda this last Saturday with a group of friends had a blast, entertainment was great food was great our waiter Ara was amazing super friendly I loved this place will def go back and party. If I could give more stars I would 10/10

The food is mediocre, no AC and valet cost $22. Asked valet if their services are for Veranda and was told yes. Ridiculous and not worth it! Use to be better. Went for a bridal shower and left hungry.

Great banquet hall with incredible live music. The musicians are sure to make the event lively. The catering is amazing, lots of different appetizers to choose from. Very clean, and the service is amazing. Our server was Armen, he took care of our party very well.
