Veranda

"The restaurant in the Hotel Sans Souci is smart and fashionable. It proposes modern Austrian cuisine, which can be ordered à la carte or as a set menu in the form of a "culinary voyage through Austria". Wine list with a focus on Austria and a wide selection of champagnes." - Michelin Inspector

We want to try a traditional veal schnitzel and it was amazing! Fresh and with a tasteful crust, without the feeling that you eat burned oil! Great stuff there. And we enjoyed also the atmosphere, politeness of the staff and great desserts. Home make ice cream is at the other level with what you can find in Wien. My boy was blown away with his raspberry ice cream !

A beautiful place for a cocktail. I went as they were closing but they still found a way to make me feel welcomed and taken care of. The staff are super kind and down to earth. Definitely a place you can feel comfortable to go alone and relax at night. Highly recommend sitting at the beautiful bar

Incredibly delicious, beautiful and atmospheric. The staff is very polite and unobtrusive. There are several options for vegetarians, which is very nice.

The Veranda restaurant has a very nice ambience. The staff is polite and professional. Food was actually very good but their Mix and Match options are in very small portions, so you better keep that in mind when ordering. We also went in several times during our stay for drinks.

This restaurant was amazing. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. Even the kids ate from the adulr menu and enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Veranda Brasserie & Bar. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, with the rosemary potatoes and the bread accompanied by various dips being standout favorites. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and to my surprise, I even enjoyed the crispy skin — something I usually skip! The steak was also rich in flavor and perfectly prepared. The desserts were another highlight — not only were they delicious, but they were also beautifully presented, adding a touch of elegance to the meal. When I visit Vienna again, I’ll be happy to return to this restaurant!

Just fantastic! Service, food and ambience excellent. Great value for money. €55 for 1 glass of champagne, 2 coffees, buffet and á la carte dishes (egg Benedict, Pancakes, Bacon and Eggs etc.). We will definitely be back soon.

For it being on the Michelin guide, I expected service to be great. Not only was I not greeted when entering, no one introduced the menu to us or brought us the wine list. When i asked if there were any non-alcoholic options for wine except the one on the food menu, the waiter was confused about what I’m asking (but ok, maybe asking for non-alcoholic wine is weird). Then we ordered the appetizer plate but were brought the vegetarian version of it. We asked if that’s the meat version, the waiter said yes and gave us a card where both the meat and vegetarian version pictures were. We compared, understood that it’s not what we ordered and tried to flag down the waiter to change it. After a few minutes we managed to find someone and they changed it for us. We did not get anything for this mistake, just a sorry, but okay. We were constantly served by different waiters, and could see one of them counting money on the table next to us. Overall, the food was ok, but nothing exciting or exceptional. Maybe for dinner it is a better vibe, but our service and experience for a restaurant on Michelin guide was not great, not even good. If you’re not ready to serve people for lunch, you should be open only for dinner.
