Google
Staff is super helpful, refill process is easy and quick, and the "lifestyle" products meet tons of package free and no waste needs. Wish the selection was larger, but Verde carries the necessities. Some prices seemed high and others low, but the refill concept is still new, and prices match that. Excited to have an eco-friendly shop nearby and to see what comes next!

Google
Verde is leading by example and is being the change we need in our world. The refill stations, kombucha on tap, dried fruits and superfoods are awesome. The store & decor is very informative and educational. Promoting a waste free lifestyle, reuse-refill-repair-recycle! I hope to see verde expand and open many stores as it is truly refreshing to see a store where sustainability is a priority. Thank you Verde for creating this much needed concept for consumers.

Google
What a wonderful concept! I stumbled upon this shop by accident and I can't wait to return. The staff was incredibly informative and friendly. The shop is very clean, well organized and welcoming The items are priced by weight and they're fairly reasonable, though some items may run a bit expensive when compared to major grocery chains. I love their selection of dried fruit, nuts and dry goods as well as the variety of soap, extracts and household cleaning supplies. I will definitely be back with some refillable containers. This spot is a definite must see for an Eco conscious consumer and anyone interested in reducing waste and single use plastics.

Refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle! Went for the first time today and I met super friendly Pamela. I brought in my own bottle for conditioner and purchased some shampoo as well. It was 36 for two 16 oz bottles but there is a discount if you pay with cash. A little expensive but worth the investment for quality ingredients. The only thing I didn’t like was weighing the products with the lid. Great products and customer service.

Google
My absolute favorite. They're commitment to transparency between producer and consumer is admirable and should be an example to follow for every business. Their bulk system is the best I've seen, and it is something I have been looking for, for a very long time. They're commitment to the environment is honest and strong, and as a person who loves the environment it feels very right to shop from here. I would love to have a Verde Market anywhere I move. I love to see them creating competition to traditional markets and big supermarkets everywhere! Love Verde Market! 10/10

Google
I love this place! I go once a week to pick up my eggs because I love that their supplier is a local farm in Homestead and that farm hires folks from the Wow center Miami. So it’s a local small business alliance that I feel great about supporting. I also purchase my compost bags here which are great quality and drop my compost off weekly as well. I have refilled hand soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, ginger, cinnamon, maple syrup, facial oil, sunscreen, olive oil, etc. and I feel great about all of the trash I have kept out landfills all while supporting a local small business.

Google
Very easy to refill basic household goods--pantry items like Himalayan salt and whole peppercorns, to laundry detergent and shampoos. Some things end up costing more than the big box retailers, but that makes sense as they are not moving as much volume as a Target or Walmart. I always feel guilty throwing out plastic waste (let's be real, most plastic does not get recycled in this country) and this helps a little bit!

Google
I’ve been refilling in Verde Market for a few years now, and I can’t love it more! So much variety of products to refill that I would love to have more of these places available for our community! You just have to bring your own container and that’s it! But they offer containers as well in case you need it. And the best of all, the owners, Martha and Pam are most of the time taking care of their clients with an incredible attitude! Awesome place!!

Yelp
I have shopped at this place and been a very loyal customer and I have multiple times been understanding when they've had the prices mislabeled. And today I went in and there were two prices listed for their flower for the fresh mild flower and when I asked, which was the price neither of the Advertise price prices were the price the advertise price was $.19 or $.20 an ounce and when she put it into the computer, it turned out to be $.28 an ounce. When I asked to speak to the owner and see if they would honor the advertise price she basically said no and said it's too hard to keep up with the changing prices so they only update it in the computer. If that's your Stanson, you shouldn't own a business that's based on weight and price.

Yelp
This place is great! I remember when they had a small shop in Wynwood next to Gramps (I think it was Gramps). Anyway, Pamela was so welcoming and shared in my excitement to finally be back in their establishment! I brought my mom down to visit because she's a huge fan of their Rise Shine soaps. This place is all about sustainability. It's a 10/10 and I HIGHLY recommend!

Yelp
Verde Market is my new favorite place to shop for grocery essentials. I have been hoping to find a market where I could refill with organic products and now I have one! I've already been three times, I'm hooked. The first time, I got specialty products like spirulina, bee pollen, cacao nibs, and collagen which aren't easily found at larger supermarkets. The second and third time I went for refills of items I had run out of(garlic powder, raw honey, conditioner, hand soap) and also picked up a few clean and sustainable products(natural deodorant, a reusable razor, bar soap). I met the owner at the Midtown location and she is very kind and helpful! She helped me refill the raw honey which is a process that requires quite a bit of patience. I will be coming back very often!

Enrique P.

Yelp
Amazing concept, you can get Oils, Seeds, Flours, Nuts, Ghee, Raw Milk, Raw Yogurt, Natural cleaning products, you can make you own soaps, Raw Honey, Condiments and much more. Super clean and organized.

Liz R.

Yelp
I love this place! Basically you refill your containers with soaps, spices, coffee and more! Everything is sustainable. It's an amazing concept and I am here for it! I really think everyone should move towards this type of movement of reusing their containers and being less wasteful. They have a scale where you can weigh your container before filling it up. I love refilling the truffle oil in my tiny glass bottle which I've saved from another vendor. The truffle oil is really delicious and definitely makes my veggies, pizza, and pretty much everything pop! I hope that they open more locations but this location is super cool and next to Bunny Cakes. I have also bought their soaps and body washes. Remember to bring your containers and a reusable bag.

Aldana A.

Yelp
I came across this store while going to Bunny cakes next door. This place is the way FORWARD. It has everything and everything can be refillable. It has everything to fulfill with your 2020 environmentally forward goals. There is even sage, oils, and face masks. Everything was so reasonably priced. I am definitely coming back here again. It is a hidden gem. :)

Carol V.

Yelp
This place is incredible. I wish there was one in my neighborhood. The staff are very helpful. The one in Wynwood has more selection. However, I haven't been to the one up north.

Yecenia R.

Yelp
Absolutely love the concept of this shop. Verde is trying to focus on creating awareness rather than prioritizing business revenue. As soon as I stepped inside, it was a completely different experience compared to shopping at your regular Publix or Whole Foods. They offer self-refill stations ranging from personal care to food. Simply bring your own empty container, fill it up, and pay. Yes, helping reduce waste is that easy. The owners/employees are absolutely friendly and helpful. They even take requests if there is a product that's not currently in stock at the shop. Definitely see myself coming back to this place.

Ambar C.

Yelp
Amazing concept! There should definitely be more places like these in Miami. It is a much needed sustainable way to shop and should be implemented in many markets through town. The place is tiny but well stocked with essentials and nicely decorated with plants all over. It really gives you that nature feel while you are there. The ladies that work here are fantastic! Very helpful and knowledgeable. You can sample most of the things like honey, vinegars, and Kombucha. They have bottles and jars for sale so you can fill up. But you are encouraged to bring your own since the main idea is to reduce waste. I was happy to fill some old containers with dish sopa. Also took some honey and avo oil as well as freshly made cashew milk. The spicy granola is delicious! Nothing like you've ever had before... trust me. I felt it was a bit on the pricy side but the items I got would have been expensive anywhere else either way and not having extra plastic wastes what really matters. I brought my kid and she loved helping me refill. It's a great place to teach the newer generations the urgency to make changes in our current lifestyles. I will be coming back for sure.

Yelp
I love the concept of this place, but I like the young lady who works here even more lol, but that's another story. This place is just crawling with liberal lie's and socialist conspiracies, I'm sure Fox and Friends would be seething at the teeth at the sight of the products being sold in this place. Dinosaurs ruled the earth for 160 million years until the Great Mother removed and replaced them. Modern humans have ruled the world for a 120 years, and the question we have to ask ourselves is do we want to continue to live or do we want to be removed and replaced like the dinosaurs. If we don't make a drastic holistic change in how we live, we won't last another 100 years. Verde appears to be taking a step in the direction of that change. They are a diverse mini-market that specializes in organic, biodegradable, renewable & sustainable products. Walking around this place I found self fill & refill laundry detergent, soap, kamboucha on tap, incense, raw honey, orange juice machine, peanut butter maker, toothbrushes, succulents, coffee, infused olive oils, kitchen utensils and brushes etc. I ended up getting a bottle of lychee kamboucha, a metal straw and a bar of lemon based soap. I really love the straw because I usually have to go to Walmart once a month to buy straws, now I don't. I went next door to Bunny Cakes to get a couple of things. But while I was waiting for my order the condensation from the kamboucha bottle ripped open the paper bag and the bottle fell and broke on the ground. So they might want to consider different packaging for the kamboucha bottles.

Yelp
Every time I come into Verde they are so helpful! Martha helped me pick out gifts for a friend who is not sustainable in nature. She helped me find clever gifts to help spark my friend's interest in the sustainability movement. My friend loves dogs so I was able to get some organic doggie treats, which I know she will love and appreciate, and her fur babies will devour!

Jenneffer B.

Yelp
I came to Verde Market to buy a shampoo and conditioner for my dog. This shampoo works great for fleas and ticks but it also leaves your dogs fur silky soft. After the first time use you will notice the softness on your dogs fur. I'm really happy with the service I emailed the store to make sure they had the product and they responded and informed me when they will have. When I went this past weekend they remembered who I was and gave me a lot of help! Thanks Verde Market for your wonderful service!

Yelp
I have visited twice Verde, I just love so much the concept, as a zero waster, was really important to me to find a place where I could shop bulk items that I can't find in supermarkets like Dish soap and laundry detergent, also that I was able to bring my own jars and bottles without getting judgement. Verde has a good variety of other items if you are looking into start a more sustainable lifestyle, I found there a plastic free sunscreen, wood utensils and also delicious kombucha! Try them out! They also sell bulk bags, produce bags, bamboo toothbrushes, plastic free dental floss, stainless steel straws and more... I wish they were around when I started so I didn't have to get all the items from the internet, but oh well! Having bulk options is great!!! Do not forget to bring your own containers to shop, they also have plenty of containers so you can shop but if you bring your own they only charge the weight of whatever you're buying. They are definitely my favorite shop in Miami from now on!!

Katherine M.

Yelp
This place is awesome, we needed a shop like this in south Florida! They have a lot of options for reusable and regulables, check out their website for details. Love the set up, love the lady that helped me at the store. Such great energy and it made me very hopeful that a lot of people will be able to reduce their waste with these awesome products. Filled up one of my jars with their kombucha (yummy!). I love that they don't discriminate with your jars, cups, containers and bags! Bring your own or buy the reusable items there! I'm so excited for these guys and I really hope they gain momentum and flourish as a business because you guys are really making an impact! I'm hoping to come back every once in a while to stock up on refill products

Mandi C.

Yelp
This place is amazing! They have so many staple pantry and self care items. The store is bright and clean and the woman who was working there was friendly and helpful. My partner and I will definitely be going back on a regular basis to refill. It's worth the drive from Pompano (though I do hope at some point they open a Broward location.)

Lola S.

Yelp
This is the First and Believe me ONLY place in Miami where you can buy in bulk. I get my shampoo, Conditioner, soaps, dishwashing and handwashing soaps, laundry pots, on-the-spot Almond butter, loofa, compostable trash bags, toothpaste... shall I go on.. I wish there were so many more in the city, they are so attentive with the customers... Bulk-buying is the here and now!

Fabiola T.

Yelp
Loved this place, they have everything for kitchen, home and personal products to refill your own containers, all clean, paraben free and organic yipeee, and the owner Martha is super helpful :)): And my visit was right on earth day, what a great way to start caring for our planet

Diana D.

Yelp
Loved it, very healthy place. Nice view and a very nice spot. The only thing is parking it's hard to find something opened on the weekends very busy. But overall the food is amazing. Will be coming back!

Ana S.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this incredible natural food store on a Sunday stroll. Wow! Bring your own containers and fill up at the different stations with coffee, olive oil, nuts, shampoo, laundry detergent, a. It just opened 2 days ago! Their motto is "sustainability is not a hippie thing, it's a survival thing." I love it!! Prices are very competitive to Whole Foods, they support local farmers and it's very close to my apartment! Ok I'm sold!

Kelly G.

Yelp
It is so great that we have a store like Verde in Miami! The store is super cool and really meets the demands of people trying to reduce their footprint. They have a variety of soaps (body, hair, dish, and laundry) in bulk so you bring a container and fill it up. Containers are available to purchase as well. Verde also has olive oils, vingegars, nut butter, spices, kombucha, beauty products, etc. And the are adding new stuff every week. You have to go and check it out. Be kind to mother Earth!

Sheila M.

Yelp
Verde is a fantastic shopping experience - I bring my (clean and empty) containers to purchase dish soap, laundry detergent, oats, nuts and nut butters, olive oil, and even wine (their Cabernet Sauvignon is delicious)! There are also handy items like chocolate, reusable straws, and smudge sticks for home and/or gifts for others. Composting drop-off is available out back for $1. Finally, best part of shopping here is the friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff!

Sasha D.

Yelp
I found Verde while searching online for stores to buy bulk oats and nuts in an attempt to reduce my plastic consumption. This store is small and perfect - it has EVERYTHING! Nuts, grains, oils, tea, soaps, and zero waste/reusable products. It is extremely affordable - I thought my big was going to be large but it was actually reasonable which was surprising. I will be going back to try much more!

Krishna B.

Yelp
Verde is making the planet a better place & I am so glad I found this gem on 2nd Avenue! I love the concept & the message of Verde & I believe that their products are stellar. I especially love their dates (& mulberries, seeds, etc) orange blossom shower gel, jar selection & essential oils. Also, everyone that works at the store is friendly, knowledgeable & very helpful.

Albert P.

Yelp
The only store of this type I could find in the area, and it's really good. It stays true to it's values. The associate was great. She explained how I could bring my own container. It's even encouraged. But if it's your first time and you forget, they have some plastic and glass containers for sale too. I went for one the higher priced items, lotion, this time. I think it's worth the price, knowing that there's less plastic in a landfill or the ocean.

Valeria G.

Yelp
I recently found this market in search of ways to reduce my waste and become more environmentally conscious. The natural, zero waste body products are amazing, they have a plethora of options for a small store, and the customer service is amazing. Love this store, i have every intention in returning often!

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Great customer service! Huge variety of oils, soaps, cleaning products etc. Finally a zero waste store in Miami!

Dawn S.

Yelp
So glad this finally exists in Miami. Eliminating our plastic is so much more effective than recycling - oh and getting quality GMO free organic products you can trust is a big plus. Plan ahead, keep your next empty bottles and refill your soaps and detergents. Oh and don't forget the killer fig vanilla balsmaic, kombucha and other goodies!

Vieva G.

Yelp
My favorite new spot! So happy these two wonderful ladies opened Verde, a sustainable market. Bring your own containers--the stuff here ended up being cheaper than Publix because you're not paying for the containers, just the contents inside. The girl who worked there was super kind, knowledgable and helpful, even though it was only her second day working. Excited that this concept is now in Miami and excited to watch this store grow. Thank you Verde!

Coumba S.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. I called an placed an order. The sales person postponed my order to the following days because she did not feel like bagging it. She promised it would be delivered the following day. The following day, l did not hear from them. I reached out and was told by the same person order would be set up in the next 30 minutes. It's been a day later, no follow-up, no delivery or explanations. I reached out on Fb and Instagram but received no feedback.. What a a rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional way to treat customers. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Brittany K.

Yelp
My friend told me I had to go check out this awesome zero waste, sustainability & environmentally friendly store! What a perfect and relevant concept for a neighborhood store. It's kind of like a general store where everything is made out of natural, healthy and environmentally friendly ingredients. I decided to never use Tide or any gross mass made chemical laden laundry detergent, so I bought natural laundry detergent and a reusable bag for it to go in. I bought a few other great things... the women who own and run the store are super knowledgeable about their products and very helpful. One of the women told me that they create new products all the time for their store, so they are in the process of creating a natural all purpose cleaner that I really need to purchase. If you are worried about all the disgusting products that are in the marketplace at the regular grocery store or convenient store and you want to try something new while saving the environment and your health then definitely check out this store. Oh, and bring your own mason jars, spray bottles, reusable bags and totes to fill with all their great products.

Alex M.

Yelp
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. I cant wait till they open up one more south. The staff are super sweet and their selections are AMAZING. I use the detergent and I absolutely love the smell.

Martha R.

Yelp
Being a sucker for checking out zero waste / sustainability in places away from home, made a stop here for blades. This gem has a very well rounded amount of items from shower needs to grains and even coffee. Loved it!
