The salads are still good. .... But the place is very dirty. The tables weren't clean, the entry mat needed to be cleaned, the floor was sticky at register. Upon driving up, the employee was outside sitting down on her phone.

Verde is always my go-to for a great salad. I had not been there in a few months and when I ordered my chopped salad I was surprised that it was not made in the metal bowl as it has always been the case in the past. The girl "chopped" my salad in the to-go container, which didn't work well, and when I got home I had to pour it into a bowl and mix and chop it myself. Please go back to chopping the salads in the metal bowls and then transferring them into the to-go containers. Thanks!

First time there, staff was helpful with guidance and education. Food was fresh and delicious. Basically had a varied green based salad with sunflower seeds, cucumbers, and thing i can't remember but we're so good! Wish I had a picture 🥺

First time going to Verde and I got the Brekkie Bowl. It was massive, delicious, and overall one of the best salads I’ve ever had. Pretty expensive at around 15 bucks, but it was worth it. I hardly ever leave reviews but it was really, really good.

I love this place-the food is so fresh and tastes amazing. The staff is one of the friendliest and most professional I have come across in food and beverage. I visit Verde almost weekly and will continue because the food and staff are just that great. The staff at this location deserve to be recognized for their professional service!

I mover from NYC to Charleston and I was looking forward to have a place so I can get salad. I went there numerous time’s and every time I go is always different, ( is like miss or hit ). Sometimes the salad come good sometimes it’s the worse. The team keep changing or they get new people but need someone to supervise them when they do a salad or anything else bc they don’t know what they doing. I’m sorry but you don’t have cheap prices and the quality is not that great. I don’t need to get my salad and the bowl halfway. Bc of the order was so bad now I need to go get to order to another place. Look at the salad is half salad not a full order

Delicious! The employees were super nice! Me and my mom went in today. I got the Mesa Verde with arugula instead of romaine and it was so yummy! My mom got the build your own and hers was good as well! She got chickpeas in hers and I think I might add that to mine next time. The portions are really good for the price! For our 2 salads it was $23. Will definitely eat there again!

I came in with a group of my girlfriends (8 of us) and Marcus literally made the individual experience for each of us 11/10! That much attention to detail, speed, kindness, patience and humor for each of us was so appreciated! It was our first time trying verde and we definitely will be coming back more frequently to see Marcus. He deserves a raise and everything else coming his way! See y'all soon.

Love this place, every time I go to Mount Pleasant I try and swing by for a salad. My favorite is the Southern Harvest salad with the cornbread croutons. It is delicious!! They even will chop everything up and put the dressing on top for you!

This place has some of the best chopped salads! Always fresh ingredients with a long list of toppings. They have seating outside and inside. I accidentally ordered my salad to go at the wrong location and the staff was so nice and made it so I did not have to drive 20 mins away. :) Great service! Thank you!

If you are looking for faster food, salads and wraps this is your place. Everything is pre-chopped and you can make your own salad they do have a couple of soup offerings, they are ok. This is a draw Ute food, not really flavorful as nothing is organic, I know we think often that if we just have salads it's healthier, not an obvious listing of what kind of oils are used. The soups are awful. Don't even know what kind of cheddar cheese, broccoli, and cheddar is, I wouldn't recommend. This is a fast food place.. would not recommend.

Verde in Mount Pleasant is a great place to go for quality and fresh food that is healthy and makes you feel better. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need.

Today's choice is Carolina Cobb. So fresh and the agave mustard dressing is delicious.

The Verde at Belle Hall is unreliable. We are ordering salad for lunch for a few months lately. I like their salad recepies, but you will never know what you can get if you order online. Now, I buy it in person. The service is sketchy to say the least. They frequently miss to add the requiered ingredients and you need to remind it to the server. Today, they added only half of the greens and after mixing the dressing in , we ended up with the half of the salad. Unacceptable.

Verde! What a solid and healthy lunch option! Always reliable and consistent in my experience. Have never done a pre- made bowl, but rather opted to create my own with various ingredients based on what my body's calling for that day. They do a very efficient job of only using fresh produce, proteins, dairy, etc. adore how well everything is mixed in the bowls and incorporated for an even distribution instead of being dumped on top. Although if that's what you prefer -- they can do that ! Bon appetit frands !

This location is a fairly generic suburb, but offers the same experience as the other local Verde's (I don't have any plans to visit the Columbia, SC location, but you go right on expanding, Verde). The customizability of these salads is excellent, and I got a ton of different flavors, as well as a nutritional powerhouse with such niceties as baked beans, pecans, grapes, and quinoa. Hummus on the side was fine, but not the best of the protein add-ons in my experience. The online ordering lets you get a bowl with just the plant-based options, which here is a lot of them. Rocking up and texting to get curbside pickup is easy and convenient, though this location also had a few tables outside if you wanted to eat there.

Pricey but very good. Had two different salads there. Friendly staff, and quick service.

As we were going to Mount Pleasant for some evening shopping, my wife announced we'll get dinner out. My mind immediately went to "beer(s), burger and fries"! Excellent! Not so fast, we parked at Verde and I was "What??!! Salad?!?" But, a pleasant surprise! Many options with a made to order salad bar staff preparing the freshest of salads on the spot. I opted for a "Mesa Verde" salad and was pleased with it. My initial fear of being hungry after having a salad for dinner was quickly erased, as the weight of the salad in my hand as I walked away from the counter seemed sufficient enough to fill me up and it did. Service seemed a little slow, as there were several people ahead of us with what seemed like complex orders. We dined in rather than take away; the place is fairly barren and stark, again, but sufficient enough for us. Pricing seemed a bit high, but, what the heck. Still not my first choice for a mid-week dinner out, but not bad.

Salad was good but how in the world can a restaurant be completely out of napkins. I was offered a paper towel from the rest room.

So darn sad. I called in an order yesterday afternoon: a lentil giant salad with kale and arugula, chopped. I used to work in the strip mall and was meeting an old coworker nearby and was so excited to pick up one of my old favorites!! Upon opening my bag after getting to where we were going, the salad that once was backed in to the bowl was now very light and didn't even touch the top. It was also not chopped which is sort of rough when you get kale. Still the same great flavors, just a bit ripped off.. and for me when you're spending $10 on a salad that doesn't have meat and it's not packed to the top as it had previously been, I am disappointed and saddened. Even more foolishly, I left a tip because the guy was so helpful and polite!

This was my first time going Verde and it hit the spot. I wanted something light and satisfying. I went during lunch hour which is probably the most inconvenient time but the wait was maybe 15 minuets. I saw they have the option to order online so, I'll take advantage of that next time! I got the Mesa Verde salad and it was delicious! It was a little loud to sit inside but they have shaded outside seating which was perfect!

Fresh, delicious, fast, friendly, flexible - this place has it all going on. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted and the staff will patiently explain the concept and options if you haven't been there before (basically, you can get anything as a salad or a wrap; you can order straight off the menu, customize any of the menu offerings, or build you own). Then you watch them custom make your order and enjoy! Last night I tried the Mesa Verde wrap without chicken and I am craving it right now - it was that good. I love that they have seasonal offerings so the menu is always changing and there's always something new to try.

Wow!! Delicious and refreshing salad and atmosphere. We were greeted with a smile and great service. I had a Buddha Bowl and my husband created his own. They were both so good. We will definitely be back

This is a go-to place after a good workout. So many options for salads! I'm usually not a salad gal..I like the occasional side salad but eating a huge salad isn't something I like to do. It takes forever to eat! Anyways, you can choose a salad on the menu or you can make your own. You can watch the nice ladies make your salad from a huge selection of add-ons. You can also choose a wrap instead of a salad. I got the mesa verde salad and wow! I asked for dressing on the side (I just finished working out). Since she squeezed lime and avocado on the salad, it didn't even need the dressing. It was by far the best salad I've ever had. I will definitely be back.

I had the Buffalo Cauliflower Salad. It was pretty good. I really enjoyed the dressing-it was similar to hot sauce with ranch. The chicken was good, but not my favorite. The portion size was huge. I definitely could have had two salads out if it had I not put the dressing on. I really enjoyed the piece of bread that came with it. Overall, I think that it was a good price for what you get. I spent around $12/$13 for a salad and a drink. Next time I will get the dressing on the side and maybe try a different salad. I will be back though! Thank you!

Not impressed by this place - yes, it's healthy and fast which is the main reason that I decided to eat here. I did appreciate that the ingredients were high quality, but there was absolutely no flavor. Everything was one note. I had the Mesa Verde salad, which is supposed to be a southwest type of salad. Didn't taste like one - I was struggling to finish what they gave me because I didn't care too much for it and I didn't want to be wasteful. That never happens to me - I'm always the type to finish everything on my plate! :) I don't know if I'll be back - a little too pricey and doesn't taste that great. I'm hoping I just caught them on an off day.

This is a great little place in Belle Hall for a quick lunch! They have so many options to choose from. Whether you want to go with a signature or build your own order. The system they had going on was very efficient and provided super quick service. I went with a Cobb on King wrap but it was a lot. There is so much in an order that I will definitely just stick with the salad bowl next time. Very generous portions and a wide variety of ingredients to satisfy whatever you may be craving. I love the Boylan Bottling Company drinks they had in the soda machine. Definitely a nice change from the norm you tend to have in most places. I definitely recommend and will enjoy again!

My fiancé and I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. We've both heard good things from co-workers. I typically order salads when we go out. This place was a let down! We really wanted to like this place but it was just overpriced pretentious salads! I left wishing we had hit the salad bar at the Harris Teeter! To be fair, the staff was very friendly and the portion sizes were large. The salads were dry and didn't have very many toppings. We asked for tap water and got the tiniest cups. We're glad we checked this place out but we will not be back.

Fresh food, service was great & the restaurant was super clean. I love the Caesar wrap with red clay hot sauce.

I have and will always love Verde! Their options are great for everyone! Such a perfect healthy option where you can customize your meal to have exactly what you're craving. You can make a perfectly balanced meal and change it up every time you go! Love all of the decor inside and the people are always super kind and are happy to build whatever salad I ask for!

Salads are yummy and good for you, right? Right! You will become a believer after visiting this locally owned, green store in Belle Hall Shopping Center. Green is their favorite color. Create your own salad from a bounty of fresh ingredients or choose a signature creation. My favorite is the Southern Harvest which is made with mesclun, roasted chicken, apples, pecans, and cornbread croutons tossed with sweet tea vinaigrette (I usually request extra dressing). I like it chopped please. Drink offerings include Charleston Tea Plantation iced tea, Boylan fountain soda, sparking San Pellegrino, and organic cold press juices. The word is out and sometimes there is a line but the friendly staff keeps it moving and gets you on your way. Thank you Kate.

Disappointed. I ordered a Southern Harvest Salad and when I got home there was not roasted chicken in it and the salad was overloaded with sweet tea dressing. Does anyone know how to make a salad or give you what you pay for? Disgusted because this is the second time they messed up a salad!

I've been going to the restaurant since they've been open. Haven't been there recently. Went this evening and was disappointed with the food preparation. Area where the food is wrapped was unclean. Leftover salad from previous orders was on the work table. The burrito order in front of me was wrapped on paper over the leftover salad from a previous order. My salad bowl was placed on top of the leftover salad before being covered. Very disappointed with the sanitation condition.

I love this place. When we are in town we go here for lunch a couple times a week. It is the perfect stop for lunch after hitting the gym. The place is always clean and the ingredients are always fresh. They make your salad for you as you watch the whole process, mix the dressing in per your request, and even go the extra mile by chopping it all up right before your eyes for the final touch. Yum! what a healthy and yummy treat!

Third time trying to give them a chance because I was craving a salad. Forgot my whole wheat bread. Salad is fine, thankfully remembered all ingredients this time.

So I've been visiting Charleston for five days and have been here four out of the five days! It's that good! I really wish there was one in Greenville, SC (hint hint, Verde are you listening?!) They are reasonably priced although I wish they were a little more easy going on not charging you extra for little things (55 cents for just a little extra dressing...) Over all though very awesome place!!

This place was great!! The food was very tasty and the staff was very kind. Had great options for the vegans, meet eaters and picky eaters. Great spot to sit outside and enjoy a good, filling, healthy lunch!!

I love verde! I recently found out I can't eat dairy anymore, but have no fear, verde is here!! I am not a huge meat eater either so I love that you can make your own salads and wraps. My personal favorite is adding the "power blend" mix which is lentils and quinoa. Then I put in all the fixings and top it off with the agave mustard dressing. It is delicious! They do put A LOT of lettuce in your salad, so if you like lettuce but not a super fan, you may ask for light in that.

I love this place. Good for vegans and meat eaters. They had four people working and they were so welcoming and fast. They have local kombucha too! Thank you!

This place is so fresh and delicious! All the creations on the menu can be suitable for most and I love how you can also build your own salad. Can't wait to go back :)

I had my first salad today and the chicken was huge unflavored chunks with a strong poultry taste. Not very appetizing.

A bit expensive for a salad. But for fresh this is what you have to pay. Noisy especially when they chop. Drinks in the bottle are rather expensive too. They do have a cool all natural and low-carb drink that is an infused tea with mint and ginger that I haven't seen elsewhere. Salad is Salad, hard to screw that up and a fresh option vs other fast food places alongside.

Lousy service. Ordered online. After 15 minutes t8order was walked outside to. Me. When wife went to eat her salad there were no utensils as requested. Tried to share my wrap as we requested it be cut in half. Wasn't cut. No napkins either. Returned and they fixed order so we could eat. Took 45 minutes. Everything was on the receipt taped to the bag.

I can not say enough about how awesome their customer service is. Everyone here is dedicated to provide the best experience this place has to offer. Huge shout out to the management for having the best staff. Food is fresh and comes with plenty of options, we could use more variety in soups :)

This was my first visit here while in town last week and absolutely loved it! I was there very close to closing time so I grabbed my salad and ate quickly in the restaurant and took my sons to go. We had the Caesar and the farmers market and both were delicious. The dressing on the farmers market was a bit bland so I did add some green goddess..

Ordered lunch at a couple places for work and decided to pick up the Verde order last since they are ALWAYS slow. We left work, drove to Belle Hall and picked up two orders from two other restaurants before going to Verde. Finally made it to Verde and it wasn't even close to being ready. There were five to six salads still being made before the one I was picking up. There was more socializing on the line than salad making and the person at the register was hostile and rude. Is it every Verde with this problem? I feel like I'm at a music store in the 80's and the employees think they are special because it's a record store. Yes Verde you are the cool salad place, but don't treat customers like you are entitled.

Best, best salads. So many choices. Love how they chop up the salad in little pieces. Wish I has one closer to home. Verde, come to Pittsburgh.

Verde is the best place for a salad, made to order while you wait. You basically have 2 options to order: one of their special salads or you can build your own. The menu board lists all the items available, and you can ask them to add or remove items from their special salads. I love going here for lunch, and frequently choose the Southern Harvest salad, then add goat cheese and cranberries. The staff here is always friendly, from the order point to the register. There's usually a lunch time line, but it moves fast enough. One note about the salads, either have it chopped, tossed or in a wrap. Verde is great for your lunch time needs, and I would recommend it to everyone. Don't forget to pick up a frequent customer card.

There should be one of these at every corner. My favorite place to get a quick bite in MTP. Staff was bright, friendly and helpful today. Good conversation from both the young man and young woman there today Thanks Verde!

Bummed to write this review because I used to go here multiple times each week and love supporting local businesses. But the quality has gone down hill. We've gotten takeout salads multiple times that were either prepared incorrectly (missing or wrong ingredients) or quality was poor. Lentils have been uncooked several times and were as hard as rocks. Used to get the Mesa all of the time, but the quality of the chicken is not good. Have continued to try to support them because the employees are super nice and sometimes they get it right. Got two salads to go today and both were wrong - one had an extra ingredient (raw onions) that shouldn't have been on the salad and the other (Lentil Giant) had no lentils in it. Verde is simply too pricey for these recurring issues.

This is the best paleo and clean eating option that I have found in all of the Charleston area. I have lived here for 18 months and was very disappointed in the salad options around town, but I found this place today and am really happy about it. I thought the protein choices were a little weak (the bacon did not look very appetizing) but I can always add my own protein when I take it home, too easy!

My first time here! The poor workers were slammed!! They did good! I feel like they put a bit too little of the toppings on top but that may just be a personal thing! Their broccoli cheddar soup was delicious. I asked for salads chopped they weren't weren't chopped but in their defense they were super packed!! But I would recommend Verde if your looking for a grab and go yummy salad!

This is my favorite salad place in the world. I love all of the extra fresh ingredients. They chipotle lime vinaigrette is amazing!
