Where to Dine Out for Valentine’s Day 2020 in Portland | Eater Portland

"Chef Johnny Nunn’s rustic French restaurant Verdigris will handle the cooking this year, with a five-course prix fixe dinner ready for takeout. Rolls with lobster bisque, fennel-and-blood-orange salad, pork belly and loin duo, and beef short ribs make up the dinner, with a Victoria sponge cake with passionfruit for dessert. Additionally, the restaurant will offer wine pairings and bottled cocktails to go. Meals are served for two, and are $90 per person, inclusive of gratuity. Call (503) 894-8125 to book takeout." - Alex Frane

I love this place! I've bought a chandelier & an old wall phone that was turned into a mini bar. The owner lenghtened the chain on the vintage chandelier to make it work with my very tall living room ceilings, which was no easy task. He spent time finding the right chain links to blend with the original chain. The picture does not do this gorgeous chandelier justice. I love going to this store. The owner is so kind and loves showing off new finds. Will definitely continue to purchase from here.

What a gem this little shop is! They have really interesting pieces and a great selection of vintage barware at reasonable prices, plus they are only a block from Whisk and the Mudhouse.

Yelp
Just visited the neatest curated vintage shop on Cherokee Street! It's not as big as some of the others, but the items are more specialized: It's mostly living room/den/bar furniture and decor. Very midcentury. Prices are good and the owner (I think owner) was friendly and helpful. We hope to return soon (and maybe buy a few pieces if they're still there)!
