"This restaurant in Verdun is fun and friendly, which makes sense because owners (and brothers) Pablo and Ari Schor are too." - ByMehdi Brunet-Benkritly, as told to Mia Leimkuhler

Yelp
This place is insane. Get the tasting menu, no questions asked. Everything is made to share and every dish is incredibly unique and creative. I especially liked the corn (we asked if we could buy the sauce and bring it back to NY with us) and the chicken. Great cocktails too. Come early, this place is a zoo by 7pm.

Yelp
I do not post many reviews on Yelp, but thought this time I should as the owners and staff at Verdun Beach went out of their way to give us a great night of dining. I grew up in Verdun and it was great to come back and visit and dine at Verdun Beach. Great atmosphere, amazing service with well trained and knowledgeable staff, an extraordinary wine list and food was DELICIOUS. We were a party of 5 and we ordered almost one item of each on the menu. The entrees are meant to be shared, so best to go with 4 or more people, so you can experience all these flavours. The kitchen definitely knows what they are doing. I was in Paris, Brussels and London recently and this meal rivalled and surpassed some of the meals I had there. Thank you Verdun Beach!! We will be back : )

Yelp
A brand new little spot just opened! Welcome to Verdun beach. It's located between 3rd and 4th avenue on Wellington it's actual in the old location once known at balconville. Great spot if you're looking for a fun date or a catch up with your loved ones. The best part is the back seating as most spots have it in the front but there's is tucked away in the back. It's cozy and quiet.

Yelp
I came here for the first time last night for Valentine's Day. I was so pleasantly surpised by how great this experience was!! First off, the space is really cool -- beachy vibes in the back with lots of heat lamps to keep you warm. We were greeted by really friendly staff, and then we saw the menu -- a small menu is always a good sign! I ended up getting the sharing menu with my boyfriend. $120 for two people plus $40 each for the accord vin was excellent value for our money -- each dish was so creative and we had soo much food -- I think like 6 dishes total with three services, plus dessert.... the wines were great too, especially our dessert wine which was mixed with cognac or something like that.... such a great experience here and I'm looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
Had a great evening meeting up with some friends at Verdun Beach. One piece of advice - don't drive or give yourself 20 min to find parking! With Wellington being a pedestrian walkway for summer, there's very little parking in the area. Once I finally arrived we were seated outside. We ordered cocktails. I had the tequila, cucumber & cayenne one - spicey & refreshing take on a margarita. We the shared plates: beet salad, shrimp, & roasted root veggie (like a turnip) but the name fails me. All the starters were delicious. We then shared the Sea bass, cavatelli & roasted/fried chicken. Wow! The chicken was spectacular. So was the cavatelli & sea bass. The meal was amazing. The service good. The atmosphere vibrant & fun. A must visit this summer!!

Yelp
The food is below mediocre at best. The owner is a disrespectful person, very entitled. He was making out with a client and didn't take care of the other clients. We took the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was 230$ - WAY too expensive for what it was. I do not recommend. Do not go.

Yelp
We came to this place with a group of 10, food is amazing and service is good. I will recommend this place if you are not extremely hungry, or just wanna get a couple of drinks plus some snacks on the side, because the portion of the food is not very big. Therefore, I will say grab something to eat before or after, since most likely you will still be hungry after leaving here.
