This place was somewhat difficult to find and waaaaay off the beaten path. It consists of several buildings and it wasn't obvious which was the retail portion of the farm. We finally figured out the correct building after being aided by a friendly dog who trotted up to the "store" (and I use the term loosely) and lay down in the doorway, forcing me to step over him to enter. No person was there and there was no easily discernible way to make a payment for anything purchased (honor system?). No way to taste any of the cheeses (all goat's milk, though they apparently have cows as well) and the prices were astronomical. Approx. $20 for 6 oz., even 8 oz., of cheese, no matter how good it is, was too rich for my taste so we ended up buying nothing and being very annoyed at having to drive so far. Not sure whether we'll attempt a visit to a different cheese company (also on a farm; looks closer to Brattleboro, where we stayed) but that's a decision for next year.
