The first two places we tried to go were closed so we walked in here because of the location. We were over joyed by how amazing the food was
One bite and I was remembering summers in Armenia. I know this is not what they were going for but the look, The smells even the smell of the servers perfume and cigarettes on the way in, the music, the amount of salt on the tomato, the way the food was served, the placemats, all of it was the most overwhelmingly nostalgic experience. My heart broke but was also deeply gratified, I travelled back in time to different time points at once, I had to stop and collect myself.
The chicken was made to perfection, charred outside and soft inside. The potatoes were the same. The salad was very fresh with the right ratio of dill, onion, salt, and acid. It was a five star meal with great quality meat.
I'm thankful that we stumbled in, I saw it on eat la and they had good reviews but still I didn't expect it to be this good. It was very good. From now on I will recommend this place for an authentic Armenian experience or if someone just wants good healthy food. Also it wasn't expensive
My compliments to the chef
