"I added a new entry to Philadelphia’s boutique wine scene with Vernick Wine, Greg Vernick’s shop at 2029 Walnut Street next door to Vernick Food & Drink; it was up and running as of Wednesday, November 13 and functions as a retail shop that doubles as a private event space. We’re going for a very boutique, well-curated shop with unique bottles not available at the state stores, leaning Old World and French-heavy while not subscribing to strict rules; expect natural wines, orange wines, Old World styles, and an emphasis on small-production wineries across a list of more than 100 bottles overseen by Vernick Food & Drink wine director Ray Gazdzinski.
