Vero Mexican and Seafood

My beef taco was delicious. The shredded meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. The shell was crispy and not greasy. I loved the sauce in the enchilada! The rice and beans were also very good. I have only heard good reviews from others and I am so happy to finally try it myself. The service was with a smile as well.

A great discovery in Temecula. Delicious Mexican food served in a Mexican diner style ambiance. Reasonably priced and great service. Nice Mexican music in the background. I shall return.

Went out with the team after work to grab some food, and I was not disappointed. One of my coworkers ordered the fajitas, and they were insane! Another coworker got the carne asada burrito, and he was super happy with it. I decided to switch it up and got the California burrito wet—something a little different, but let me tell you, it was bomb.com! Highly recommend checking this place out. Prices weren’t too bad, and everyone was super friendly. It’s a great mom-and-pop shop vibe.

Nice Mexican restaurant. I enjoyed the shrimp burrito with their very tasty tartar sauce. It’s huge, filling, and packed with shrimp. This is a regular lunch stop for me, and everything I’ve tried so far has been consistently good.

This is the best Mexican and Seafood restaurant in town, the food is very delicious and served a good portion for your money. The host are friendly and polite. The service is fantastic with a cozy dinning section. Vero also have very delicious authentic salsa bar yummy! I would highly recommend this restaurant great food a must try.

Delicious home style Mexican food prepared with kindness and care. Yoli is on point with the authentic taste, presentation and reasonable prices. Had the Chili Relleno, Crispy Beef Taco, Beef Stomach Taco, Carne Asada Taco, Refried Beans and Rice, and a small but HUGE Michelada! Everything was delicious and piping hot on the Plate. Huge portions! I was stuffed! Now I know we're the home cooking can be found Highly recommend! Janice provides great friendly customer service too!

I almost always get takeout and delivery from this place instead of dining in. I like that the restaurant itself has a salsa bar, and also that I can buy 8oz containers of their salsas for a good price. I generally have a standard order of a bean tostada and a mini taco. Today I decided to be different and order chicken enchiladas. Wow, they were great! Everything I've had here has been excellent!

My quest for the best Carne Asada burrito in Murrieta/Temecula brought me here after reading other reviews saying they had good CA Burritos. For me a CAB begins and ends with the meat. Most places don't season their carne and it ruins the burrito. Vero's carne was well seasoned and very good. It carried the burrito. I ordered my burrito with no pico because I prefer green salsa, so it came with meat and guacamole only. She told me that the guacamole has tomato, onions and cilantro in it but it didn't matter because I never saw any guacamole in my burrito. What a disappointment. The burrito was a good size for the price. I'm giving Vero's 3 stars because of the lack of guacamole and terrible table service. I had to wait almost 10 minutes to get the server to bring my check. I think she went on a break. I will also say this was the best CAB in Temecula so far for me and better than all of the shops in Murrieta ( I have tried them all). Los Jilbertos on Clinton Keith in Wildomar is still my favorite because they are consistent with the flavor of their carne.

The place was clean and inviting with plenty of room to dine in. We were greeted as soon as we entered. For dining in, we were served with salsa and chips to start. The carne asada fries plate was huge and it came with beans. Most restaurants we've been to don't include beans but my bf enjoys his this way so he was pleasantly surprised. Just a heads up if you like yours w/o beans. The carne asada burrito was good too. I'd come back to try other dishes, their menu is huge.

Whenever I'm in Temecula, only 2 places I go to for some really good Mexican food. One of them is Vero's. Discovered them 6 years ago and the standard changed, the bar is higher. They always make anything I order very satisfying. My mini cabeza tacos and buche tacos are so flavorful. Also love their open salsa bar, best green salsa around. Hot carrots and peppers on the side are so good as well. They have a very big menu and everything I've ordered in the past are 5 stars. Service here is always good. The sisters run the place. They also give their younger family members the opportunity to work in the restaurant. The place is clean, always have diners and they have happy hour. People are friendly.

Stumbled upon this little Mexican joint while we were staying at the Holiday Inn in Temucla. For a hole in the wall Mexican joint, Vero simply has it all. From ice cream to burritos, it's a more vast menu than one would think. We were pretty hungry coming in put definitely got our portions worth. I went with the two tacos and they were massive. One taco is filling enough here. But it did taste amazing and is worth having again. The servers are nice and frequently checked in when we needed them to. The $2 charge for chips is a bit absurd but oh well. A spot like Vero would be my go-to easy / affordable Mexican hub. It's pretty cheap and you can get a lot for what you paid for. Yum.

I've reviewed Vero's before, it's an excellent restaurant in Temecula that specializes in Mexican Food & Seafood, there's also an Ice Cream Bar for Cones. We have experienced problems on our last 3 visits after my initial review of Vero's Mexican and Seafood Restaurant. This has led to me revising my Yelp score from 4 stars to 2 stars. Main problem stems from poor food quality and lack of following through with requests. On delivery orders they have failed to provide hot sauce with each order. We have requested it on our orders but it is never in the bag. Try eating a dry fish taco with no white sauce and only some crappy red sauce they put on. Also, all tostadas ordered have come soggy and they have used chopped lettuce and not shredded lettuce. So bad my wife tossed hers and made her dinner with chips we had at home. My last carne asada burrito was very greasy and without salsa, not so good. There is only so much blame you can pin on the delivery service. This poor quality and lack of following through with customers request falls on Vero's. As they say in the big leagues "three strikes and you are out".

Love their Surf n Turf Burrito. Big enough for the wife and I to split. They have a really tasty red salsa that goes well with their food. Will definitely be back when I'm in this part of town.

I have been coming here for years! Love to eat here when I'm around south Temecula. Very clean restaurant with a lot of delicious dessert choices.

We love Vero's. We love the servers, the food, the homemade ice cream, everything about this place! Authentic and family run! The Ambiance is nice as well. Very cozy.

Highly recommend. Very nice hostess and very clean establishment. Get the carne asada nachos you will not be disappointed. I did not get any, but they also have 24 fresh ice cream varieties as well.

This is probably the best, most flavorful Mexican food I've had out here in the Murrieta/Temecula area. Their service is good and the ambiance is ok, nothing spectacular but I would keep coming back for the food. I've had about four different dishes here and they all have been filling and flavorful. Today I got the wet (green) carne asada and egg breakfast burrito and it's the best breakfast burrito I've had. Had to finally give a review. I got full and only ate half.

We got the Machaca breakfast burrito and eggs w/ bacon and sausage. It was the worst breakfast we've ever been subjected to. I love crispy, kinda burned bacon but this stuff was dehydrated. The bacon was ashier than a call girl's knees. I went and got a COVID test after eating the machaca burrito because it literally had no flavor.

Excellent food! Got my food to go, and it was just as good, as if I had ate at the restaurant. Affordable too.

Friendly service. Menudo, Siete Nares soup were delicious. Definitely will go back if in Temecula.

Food is always soggy badly proportioned I'm gonna stop ordering from this place. The shrimp cocktails always has bad shrimp. Tostadas are always soggy. Everything comes out greasy.

This food was perfect the Civiche Tostada was Delicious! And my husband loved his grilled chicken tacos for Taco Tuesday.

Really great coffee, delicious (and huge) burritos, good salsa bar. The surf n turf burrito and the carnitas burrito were excellent. Friendly and quick service. Option to take out or sit down - we chose to sit and I'm glad we did. The restaurant is really cute, nice music, comfy booths.

Food was delicious but service was terrible. Waited 20 minutes for someone to give us the check, they were all huddled by their tv in the back watching Telemundo (the show looked good tbh but come on). We had to go up to them and ask for the check. The table next to us was given a refill on their chips multiple times, we sat with empty chips for 30 minutes while we waited for our food (was still not given more chips). A young waitress was mopping the table right next to us and it smelled like such heavy chemicals that I almost passed out. It sucks bc we've been going here for years. What happened?

Today was the first time we tried this restaurant and was so impressed with the food!!! Since Covid, my husband and I have only been able to order curbside since we both have underlying health issues. Disappointedly, our favorite Taco Tuesday and other Mexican food restaurants do not offer curbside (just take out). Now, let's get to the food part of this review. ...The food is AMAZING!!! I ordered a beef taco and my husband a carne asada burrito (and added fries). We both love the authentic taste and SO DELICIOUS!!! Thanks to Covid we have now found our permanent Mexican restaurant (we have lived here for 23yrs). Additionally, the customer service was wonderful, friendly and willing to put the food in our trunk. God bless this business!

Bomb food, but habanero salsa is super watered down. If they fix that it will be a 5 star place .

The quality of food has gone down substantially! The last time I was in there I saw a cockroach on the floor heading towards the kitchen!!! I let the staff know and they did not seem shocked, and took their time attending to the matter! I will never go there again!

I've only tried their Chili Relleño Burrito at least a Dozen times and their Ice Cream for Dessert. We both love this Burrito, she also likes the Rolled Tacos. Everything tastes good here and their prices are very reasonable.

In our household we have a saying, "You can never go wrong with Vero's." Best Mexican hole-in-the-wall restaurant. A well kept secret among locals. I'm torn between giving them the love I know they deserve and risking it becoming too popular and ruining the quiet, warm, ambiance. As a Mexican, it's often hard to find real authentic food in this area. Local helpers often gives too many stars for Mexican food that simply does not taste authentic. But you know a place is authentic when they sell cabeza tacos and menudo con pata. We have been customers for years and always order a variety of food, we like to try new dishes. There has never been a dish in which we have been disappointed. Everything from their tacos, green enchiladas, chilaquiles, menudo, chile verde burritos, carne asada nachos, ceviche, fried fish combo, cucumber lemon drinks, homemade popsicles, and granola strawberries and cream deserts have been absolutely amazing. They also always provide very good portions and their price is decent. It has gotten to the point where we are often stuck trying to decide what to order, as everything is just so good. Luckily, we can't go wrong.

Favorite Mexican food in town! Love there selection of food, seafood, fresh aguas, Mexican munchies and ice cream! I am a regular that this place. Temecula needs more places like this in town.

I went today to buy a mixta. And let me just say save your $$ it's not worth it, I paid $45 and they gave me this.. oh wait along with 7 tostadas.. yes 7... now mind you this is my first and last time here. I was told it's enough to feed 10 people.. but how's that, does every person have to eat half a tostadas... and look at the avocados... BS...... save your $$ people...

I had THE BEST NACHOS! In Temecula and you did that! I've had trashy nachos before but by far! Your nachos have been the best!!!! I couldn't talk because I kept eating I had no complaints there was so much food and I was so disappointed that I could not finish it all because it was that good!! It's was very well portioned out the beans, sour cream, cheese, pico, and meat! The carne asada was so good! Me and my daughter where going to town!!!! I can not stress it enough how good these nachos are.

We had high hope's for this place, but unfortunately it didn't happen. I ordered the molcajete, my husband ordered the machaca plate and my son ordered the sopes plate. Everything was ok. Just ok. Normally I give detailed description of the different tastes, but unfortunately everything tasted very generic and the same. It lacks seasoning, salt and all around TLC. Customer service was amazing! Very sweet lady.

Decent asada. Place was super busy for a Monday afternoon. Only one server/ cashier and she was working extremely hard. She got our order exactly right.

Although I've never tried any of their meal options, their desserts are to die for!! I've tried the Pina loca, the coco loco, the freaks con crema, and the Sandia loca. Each one has been super delicious. Vero's will always be my go to place for specialty desserts. Update: 08/01/2018 I unfortunately have to update my review. The last couple times I've been to Vero's, the food has been pretty terrible. The meat in my carne asada fries is fatty, the fries tasted stale, and the worst part....I FOUND A PLASTIC TAG IN MY FRUIT DISH. I would really like to continue to go to Vero's, but the way my food has been lately just really turns me off.

They have the biggest best tacos. They are almost $2 each, but packed with so much. Great quality of meat. They have unique ice cream flavors. When I'm in the area I always stop by.

omgggg havent been here since covid been cooking at home my hubby treated me today whatever restaurant i told him uuuuu veros i usualy just to get the surf & turf burrito but today was a game changer i had the molcajetes mixto sorry i forgot to take a picture butit was so gooood i wish they made tortillas a mano apart they now have ice cream tostilocos all kind of yummy snacks if your into that my husband had the coctel de camaron (shrimp cocktail very well served don't forget to addtapatio ‍i realize something was missing tapatio if you like spicy but highly recommend the molcajete big enough for 2 or even 3 or like me i grubbbbbb it alll no shame

I found HAIR in my food with fuzz on it. So gross. I had a really bruised and messed up avocado on my food and when I was moving it to the side, I found the hair. Just a warning, because that's pretty gross. Never returning.

Fresh made ice cream is the S*_t. Their Pollo Asada Burrito is bomb. Go in before noon and order a Gringo special and try them both out.

I would be lying if I didn't say that I would drive right past this spot. Because I am from San Diego and have super high expectations for mariscos. To be fair Temecula doesn't have many spots for mariscos so I went in with low expectations. I was taken here by my mom as I was in the mood for aguachiles . Overall I wasn't unsatisfied with it.The flavor was good but for aguachiles I expect it to be spicy although I know due to cliental some owners bring down the heat level for people who don't have a high tolerance for spice. It does come in a molcajete which is always nice but it had foil under it which made it look super tacky and threw me off. The shrimp where butterflied and deveined which is always a plus. There was also chamoy around the cucumber wasn't bad but could definitely do without it. As for staff service was okay the waitress didn't really check in often we found ourselves looking for her and waving her down for simple things such as napkins. They could definitely improve on there customer service skills. I would try it again for different dishes and believe in giving spots a second chance.

I've liked their food for awhile now; taco Tuesdays are my favorite, the Wife likes the taquitos plate, and the kid has to order their California avocado/guacamole chicken burritos! ($$).. So, not only does this place serve up some Auth Mexija (Mexican/Baja) grub, but it's got character as well; I usually order take out, and As I exit, I make it a point to turn around, face the kitchen, make eye contact with a cook- point to him with my- "you're the man!" non- verbal stare, and the cook points right back at me in agreement "soy chingon". One last thing, if they see you pull up and you are with a cane, walker, or wheelchair, they'll make an effort (depending if busy) to bring your to go food out to you! They've got a lifetime customer with me.
