"Going out to eat is great, but sometimes the pull of your couch is too strong, and takeout is the way to go. Vero Pizzeria is a place worth going out of your way for to pick up a few pizzas, and maybe a salad, if you feel like something green. They’ve got 10 pizzas on the menu, ranging from simple to more-toppings-than-cheese, but everything is worth a try, and will always be better than having to cook it yourself." - Sarah Bailey

I had one of the best funghi pizza I’ve ever had (we added red sauce). I really enjoyed the dessert, which was a recommendation from the waitress. You will definitely have a good time if you go! Highly recommended

Google
Absolutely incredible pizza and wonderful ambiance. The staff are so inviting and accommodating, and the interior is nicely designed. They also have great outdoor seating even for a large group. I had the Americano pizza, which was so delicious and perfectly topped with hot honey. For dessert, we had the budino bread pudding, which was so sweet and rich. You can’t go wrong with any pizza from Vero Pizzeria!

Google
10/10. Absolute favorite pizza spot in Atlanta. Whether I’m swinging by to grab a pizza to-go or dining in… I’m blown away each time I eat their pizza. From a calorie perspective, I probably shouldn’t be having an entire pizza to myself (everytime), but it’s so hard to share so a personal pizza is a must! Try it once and I promise you’ll be back.

Google
The pizza is delicious; they are kind of personal size. I had the Diavola which had some kick to the red sauce with meats that reminded me of NY Italian delis in the 80s. Wife had the Quattro formaggi which is a white pizza with, as the name indicates, four cheeses. It was delicious as well, I gotta have the red sauce though. They share a kitchen with the Italian restaurant next door so you can order from that menu while you’re there. Service was attentive and it has a really nice rustic atmosphere.

Google
We happened to stumble across this place when we were in the area and decided to try it out. Wow! It was hands down some of the best pizza we've ever had. They use a large stone fire oven and use authentic Italian ingredients to transport you to Italy. You can literally see them dry aging their meats they use on the pizza, which shows the quality of what goes into making their pizzas. Their dessert was so good as well. If you're in the area you must go!

Google
Had a great Friday night with friends here! Nice ambiance and friendly staff. We sat outside on the small patio area. Our server was very attentive. The food was delicious and fresh. We order the crostini appetizer, carne and fungi pizzas, along with a calzone and draft beers. Everyone enjoyed the food, we would definitely return.

Google
Passed by this restaurant on a Friday evening. We were looking for a place that serves Vegetarian /Vegan options.. And we stopped at Vero Pizzeria.. they didn't have vegan cheese pizza but it could be customized with toppings (vegetables) and no cheese.. and luckily the pizza dough was vegan. So we went inside and sat down.. the oven baked pizza was served us within no time.. Great Service ✔️ It was delicious and soft.. the dough was perfectly done ✔️ the red sauce on it was flavorful. We also ordered a side dish .. it was great as well! Definitely worth the visit.. The 🍕 was the main highlight 😍

I have lived in ATL for 10 years now, and enjoy exploring and try restaurants across the city. I may be biased as I live here in Brookhaven, but this is the best pizza in all of Atlanta! The quality of the ingredients and really shines through. Also a big fan of the calzones. Lively atmosphere, and I enjoy watching the chefs making pizza in the open kitchen. All around 10/10

Yelp
The Americano and the boss (sandwich pictured) were both delicious!! We will definitely be back

Hunter W.

Yelp
We've been to Vero twice now and loved it both times. We had the Americano pizza our first time and had to get it again this time since it was so good. The hot honey sauce added the perfect hint of sweetness and heat. We also ordered the Vero Salad to share with our pizza (not pictured). Service was fine as well.

Yelp
Good pizza! stopped in at this spot on a Saturday night- to my surprise there was no wait which was nice! It is a small restaurant so I would expect at peak times there could be waits. To start we tried the burrata which had sweet potatoes, mozzarella, and beets. Which was delicious! The pizzas were 16-18$ each and there were several vegetarian options. I tried the fungi and polpetta without the meatballs. The server informed us they could make any pizza vegetarian. I liked the polpetta over the fungi pizza! The parking was valet behind the restaurant. I managed to get lucky and find free parking across the street in a lot. Service was good- very attentive!

Yelp
Good for families or a date, vero is one of our favorite neighborhood spots. You can't go wrong here - vero salad is a fav, as are their sandwiches, calzones, meatballs, and pizzas. Pro moves: 1- order an extra app or entree from their sister restaurant, Valenza, next door (octopus and brick chicken are my favs) 2 - Buy the dough to go to make your own pizza at home!

Yelp
I could have sworn that I wrote a Yelp review for Vero, so I was surprised tonight when I checked my app after placing an UberEats order, that I had not. Back in March of 2022, my boyfriend and I had dinner at Vero for the first time. We shared the burrata appetizer and two pizzas since we couldn't choose just one: margherita pizza (vero mozzarella, basil) and fungi pizza (cremini mushrooms, ricotta, mozzarella, garlic confit, parm crema). The burrata was plated nicely with beautiful color, and tasted fresh and delicious. It was a tough choice between which pizza we preferred, but my boyfriend decided on the mushroom, whereas I picked the margherita. We both thoroughly enjoyed both pizzas though! If my memory serves me, we didn't leave a scrap behind. Somehow, despite loving the romantic ambience and delicious food, we hadn't made our way back in over a year. Tonight, we were craving pizza and didn't feel like leaving home. After perusing UberEats and talking earlier in the week about needing to come back to Vero, I placed an order. I decided to go with the classic margherita and the Vero salad (romaine, kalamata, feta, croutons, oven dried tomatoes, pickled red onion, roasted peppers, grana padano) since my mom is visiting and I wanted her to experience the classics. We enjoyed our choices!

Yelp
Difficult to write a review and separate the bad service from Uber Eats from the restaurant. In short, my pizza arrived cold and well after the promised time from Uber Eats. You cannot appeal to UE. The time of delivery kept changing after the driver picked up the food. I thought it was unusual they had a passenger but... I pointed out to the driver the food was cold and he said that was how the restaurant delivered it. I was staying at a hotel with no way to reheat the pizza. The restaurant offered to remake it but said anything else had to come from UE. UE said too bad we delivered it. Yelp, please add a section for UE when food is delivered by them.

Ashley K.

Yelp
I guess It's true, you can overdo a good thing! This is my second experience with Vero and this time I ordered through Ubereats. I requested 2 extra sauces through the app and called to confirm. First, I was concerned that they didn't seal the box with a sticker or something like most places when you order through a delivery app, and secondly, my pizza was cold, dry and as you can see, Parmesan only on half of it! The quality of the pizza wasn't as good as it was previous. It was EXTRA dry for some reason and I only got on side of sauce which only lasted 3-4 slices. . You can even tell from the photos the difference in quality. I was surprised it was cold bc I'm less than 15min away and the driver picked it up soon as it came out the oven Needless to say, I may have to go back to Varuni's bc they're always consistent AND give you extra sauce upon request. Undecided if I'll give them another try but we'll see. It is nice that their prices are the same on Ubereats. Some business have an up charge which is annoying.

Yelp
I enjoy this little pizza spot. It's not that far at all, and the service is always good! It's a small shop, not the biggest restaurant, but it works! They have some space at the bar, and some outside seating, but it just depends on what time you get there! The restaurant has the pizza oven going, and everything seems to be fresh. I got the meatballs as an appetizer. They were good and have 3 different types of meat in it. Pretty decent. I also got the wicked pie for a pizza. Now that was good and had a good flavor. They have a lot of different types of pizzas, I would need to come several times to try all of the different types (and I plan on it).

Yelp
Love dining in. Ordering to-go not so much. Have dined in many times over the past 4 years, and the service and food are always great. But, when ordering to-go it seems like they go light on the ingredients. See example in photos attached of a Prosciutto pizza when dining in versus to-go.

Vanessa S.

Yelp
This spot was perfect for a casual pizza night with friends catching up! There wasn't a wait even on a Friday evening and we were seated at a clean table. Staff was knowledgeable of the menu, customization options and suggestions. We were so hungry I didn't get pictures of the pizza but the dessert was delicious and didn't disappoint either!

Dazziyah M.

Yelp
Went here for a quick Togo dinner and the ambiance of course was very pleasant. Cute for a date night or friends night out. Not sure how much space there is inside though. I got the margarita pizza and it was amazing! I did put it in the oven when I got home since it was freezing outside. But the flavors of the pizza were there! The mozzarella tasted very fresh, the basil was very good and the crust was very soft. I definitely would go back! The service was also good too. I was created and paid for my food as soon as I got in the restaurant.

Yelp
Veto pizza is tucked away in a busy strip in Brookhaven. The pizzeria shop has a simple menu that offers and focuses mainly on their pizzas, but does offer variety of apps and non-pizza items. I came here on a Tuesday evening and it wasn't very busy and was easily able to find a table in the back. Foods ordered: - Arugula and Kale: The salad was crisp and made with an traditional anchovy/Caesar dressing. It was served on a chilled plate, which was a nice touch and they offer to crack pepper over it. It was a light/refreshing and not overly dressed salad, the greens were crisp and had a nice crunch. There was also a semi-crumbly cheese that was tossed with the salad which balanced the saltiness of the anchovy dressing. - Chicken Wings: This was a generous order of wings that were well cooked and covered in a somewhat spicy/ garlicky sauce. They weren't extremely saucy, but were evenly coated. They were served with pickled celery(?) --which contrasted the zingy wings and weren't too pickled either; a nice little reprieve -- as well as bleu cheese. - Pizza: We wanted try two pizzas that were both white and asked if they could do half and half--this isn't a normal thing, but the chef agreed. The pizza's were nicely cooked; not burnt or undercooked. The crust had a nice rise, bite, and chew -- the flavor was good as well. The toppings of the half/half pizza we got were tasty and not overpowering to the slice; appropriately topped. The Americano was drizzled with the hot honey and it had a nice balance to it. The Polpetta, with its garlic, oven dried tomatoes and basil, was aromatic. The overall opinion of the pizza, maybe the restaurant, is there is a nice balance to things. We'd definitely come again and recommend.

Yelp
Vero definitely feels like a nice 'neighborhood pizza spot' Kid friendly Walked right in/ no wait (though we did go early line closer to 6pm) Good array of choices on the menu even outside of pizzas (not cheap) Didn't wait long for food Budino dessert was amazing Server, Natalie, was knowledgeable and friendly They offer valet but you can probably find parking on the street or other side of the road

Phuong D.

Yelp
Love their pizzas & service! We love taking the kids there when it's not too busy. Thìs place is always a hit with our fam.

Sebastian M.

Yelp
I ordered from this place on Uber eats and I haven't even eaten the pizza yet I'm so annoyed. This pizza in the photo below was 18 dollars. It's a personal pizza but smaller. This is a true rip off. I'm starting to see a pattern with a lot of restaurants during this quarantine. They are really nickel and diming their customers. This is ridiculous. You can see in the picture how small it is. The pizza on the bottom I'm assuming is full sized because the box is larger. They should have made it clear on the Uber Eats app that this was a personal pizza. They did not have indication that it was. I'm very annoyed.

Kris M.

Yelp
Very tasty & not greasy at all. Thin crust that's cooked perfectly! Seating can be a challenge during dinner but it's worth the wait (or carry out)!

Carlie M.

Yelp
You've gotta come here for the Tuesday special! 2 pizzas for $20! And they also have $2 beer specials. They have some tasty pizzas that you can easily split with some friends. The staff is super nice. They do have free valet parking out back as well (obviously plus tip). We got the carbonara and the four cheese. The carbonara is peppery but very tasty. Love this spot!

Lauren R.

Yelp
Great stop if you're looking for quality ingredients with premium flavor. Menu comes with white and red pizza options as well as apps. They also offer pasta from the next door Italian eatery. Our party of three polished off two pizzas with ease. Friendly wait staff. The only thing I wish they had was more beers on tap. Pricing on higher end but not unexpected for the location.

Kseniia A.

Yelp
This is very nice high end restaurant. Staff was outstanding. The food was good. You can split any pasta. It is overpriced, but you pay for fresh ingredients and location. Pizza show next door.

Yelp
My fiancee and I visited Vero a few weeks ago for our Friday date night after flipping through our Atlanta Dining Passbook and it was a great choice! This is a nice little cozy restaurant in Brookhaven that offers patio seating, has a nice bar, and an intimate indoor setting. We both had different pizza's (can't remember the name), but they were DELICIOUS. The servers were great and the service was amazing. Also, a plus in my books is they have valet parking! Definitely would not have discovered this place if it wasn't for my passbook, but I am glad I did!

Donovan H.

Yelp
I was delivering food for this subpar establishment and when they gave me my customers pizza, it came out cold (luke warm at best). So I told them to send it back and rewarm it. They made made me wait for 5 minutes just to bring it back as cold as I sent it. What a bunch of clowns, pretty sad considering it was even a manager (scrawny string bean white guy with brown hair) who personally brought it back out himself with a smirk on his face...

Rahul G.

Yelp
My first dining experience here was very good. We ordered the carne red sauce pizza and the meatball white pizza. Both were delicious. I was impressed with the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The dough was excellent, soft and had the right chewy consistency. Our server was friendly and attentive. I liked the rustic decor inside. We also ordered the tiramisu and the cannolis for dessert. They were a little disappointing and i would give them an average score. They have a small selection of wine. i recommend the montepulciano which is one of my favorites. Overall, 5/5 pizza, 3/5 dessert, 4/5 service and ambiance. I would return to check out the other pizzas. I recommend skipping dessert.

S S.

Yelp
D-LIGHT-Ful Fast fast fast fast!!! Sat down at 6:40 and done at 7:18. Meatball pizza was great. We also had the Vero salad. You can definitely share both the salads and pizza can be shared. Austin was our server. He was definitely on point! Highly recommend!

Rhea C.

Yelp
Great home style pizza! Love the family atmosphere and the pasta dishes are fantastic! Perfect neighbor place, I high recommend. My only issue is the parking. You may need to valet.

Cali M.

Yelp
We came to Vero last week, using the Atlanta passbook for a BOGO pizza and were very pleasantly surprised! The pizza was amazing and came out so fast! The service was 8/10 but a little slow when it came to getting the check, but no worries there. The pizzas aren't huge and are a little on the pricey side, but the passbook made the meal very cost effective. For reference, 3 people split these 2 pizzas and everyone was satisfied! If you don't have the passbook, I can see how these may seem costly for the amount of food you get, but these pizzas were really delicious.

Yelp
I stopped into Vero on a recent weeknight for a quick bite with the BF. We were both craving pizza and this was the nearest place to us so we decided to give it a shot. Just a head's up: the parking lot beside the restaurant was valet only during dinner hours. That said, there is street parking available all over Dresden Drive. The menu is small and focused. I certainly appreciate kitchens that focus on what they make well, and I'd much rather a smaller and more selective menu than a Cheesecake Factory-style tome, BUT my BF doesn't eat pork so I was a bit disappointed here. We were craving pizza and the only toppings we could add to our pizzas were pretty much cheese, peppers or pork-based products. It would have been nice if there was even one alternative meat option. We wound up splitting: - Arugula salad with ricotta salatta, pistachio, anchovy ($4) - Pizza 1: tomato, mozzarella, basil ($13) - Panini 4: oak roasted chicken, romaine, Parmesan dressing, tapenade, semolina bread ($9) The salad was OK, a bit heavy on the oil and light on the pistachios, but nice and simple. Good flavors and a decent portion for the price! The pizzas are all hand-tossed and cooked in a pizza oven, resulting in a nice, bubbly crust. They're about 12 inches in diameter (roughly a large personal size, or perfect for two people to split with salads to start). Like the salad, our pizza was nice and simple. The ingredients are obviously high-quality. As I mentioned, more toppings options would have been great for those patrons with food restrictions. The panini was gorgeous - I mean look at that buttery, parm-coated bread!! - and tasty. The portion was a bit small for our taste but the flavors and quality made up for it.

Re M.

Yelp
Honestly, I don't see how anyone could give this place less than a 5 Star! I'm from the West Coast and in town on business so thought I would get the white pizza polpetta. I absolutely love pizza and I've only found one other place on the entire West Coast summer to this. It's incredible, the ingredients are very fresh and simply put, it's outstanding! Keep up the great work and highly recommend!

Nikki A.

Yelp
I am a little mad at myself that I read all of the reviews that said that you had to order at the counter and then seat yourself. I avoided this place for that reason; if I go out to eat, I want table service. Things must have changed, and I am so glad my husband and I stopped in here on a whim. The table service is great. More importantly, the pizza is outstanding. The number 8 is one of the best pizzas I have ever had, and that is saying a lot. We go on Tuesdays because you can get a bottle of wine for half price. Prepare to valet park on busy nights, and seating can be limited.

Kirk S.

Yelp
Second time visiting this restaurant. We ended up trying the Tuesday special of two pizzas for $20 and $2.00 draft Peroni. The restaurant no longer offers the beer special. However the Wicked lager was good. Wicked and Carne pizzas were really good and flavorful. We got them with a little extra bake, which made crust really flavorful. Service was great and everyone was wearing a mask. However, a party was seated right behind us which made social distancing a bit challenging. Lots of open tables to choose from so not sure what the deal was. But, overall meal was good.

Alexa R.

Yelp
I have been craving pizza and I am so glad I went here! I ordered the prosciutto pizza and it did not disappoint! I had amazing customer service from the hostess who sat me, to the bartender who clued me in the wine was on special that night to another server who struck up conversation with me. The manager even checked on me and recommended another pizza, which was the other one I was considering. As a whole, they all have inspired me to come again and probably created a regular out of me. I am huge fan of great customer service and amazing pizza, and this delivered it with flying colors. I can not wait to go back and try the Fungi pizza. I probably will go back on a Sunday to take advantage of their special wine offer!

Valerie N.

Yelp
So glad to have a great pizza place in the neighborhood! We went on a Saturday night about 7:30. We got seated right by the door, which was a little hectic but cozy. We ordered the vero salad, a few pizzas, and dessert. The vero salad is a MUST - I could eat it every day! It's their take on a Greek salad - finely chopped with fresh herbs and yummy pickled onions. It pairs extremely well with the pizza! for our 3 pizzas, we went traditional margherita (tomato sauce, mozz, fresh basil), mushroom (ricotta, maitake mushrooms, garlic), and sausage (tomato sauce, fennel sausage, rapini, pesto, and Calabrian chili). The margherita was good but the mushroom and sausage were exquisite. In fact, the mushroom may be my fave, despite the sausage pizza being a riff of my fave Valenza's orecchiette dish next door. I highly recommend both. Don't forget to ask for a dippy bowl of olive oil for your crust! Yum! Dessert: CANNOLI. HOLY SMOKES. Please order these. One order comes with two small cannoli, easily splittable. The cannoli crust is hands down the best I've ever had - it was light, airy, flavorful and reminded me of an elevated funnel cake in terms of taste (not texture). The filling was smooth, creamy, and sweet - very light but decadent. I highly recommend! The kinks with the pizza from opening night (too much char on the pizza, bland tomato sauce) seem to have been resolved in a very short time. The pizza should have a light char - that's the point - so please don't send it back if yours has a little on it. That's what makes it good! A few logistical notes: while there is valet, Vero does not take reservations. You order at the counter and find a seat. This is NOT the place to linger on a long date or with a big group of friends - the line has been out the door both times when I've been so in order for people to sit, you gotta move on once you've eaten. The good news? Valenza and Haven have fab bars great for lingering and delicious dessert menus and coffee great for winding out your night so my rec is to eat pizza here and then move quickly next door for more catch-up/coffee/dessert (or walk across the street to Kaleidiscope, yet another great bar with terrific beer options). If you're in a big group, I'd recommend getting take out from Vero and eating at home - Vero is a very narrow space and not really suited for parties bigger than 6 (ideally you'd come here with 4 peeps or less). It's also really loud in Vero so in a large group, you won't hear one another (I struggled in my group of 4). And while you can order Haven's food in Valenza and vice versa, you cannot order Vero into Valenza or Haven. Enjoy this delicious addition to Brookhaven! Yummy!

Matthew D.

Yelp
Meh. I was super excited to pick up a pizza from Vero after an extremely stressful long day at work. We call and ordered the carne pizza Togo about 20 mins before I picked it up. As I was walking up to pay I saw the a box just sitting on their counter. Sure enough it was mine. After that I knew things where going to be iffy. I guess they don't keep your pizza warm while you're on the way there. Looking at the pizza it looks like whoever made it just rushed the process. It has an extremely odd shape to it and very small. Also there were barely any toppings(As you can see in the picture) looks like they threw a good amount of sausage on there then just gave up on the rest. Only three pieces of basil, some Pepperoni, and hardly any prosciutto. I give three stars because the employees were nice, the restaurant was clean, and I'm imaging the pizza would be decent if it was kept warm before I picked it up and actually had a decent amount of toppings.

Shelby R.

Yelp
I have dined here 3 times and had a great experience! The Tuesday 2 for $20 pizza deal is amazing and the last time I was there they brought back the $2 peroni drafts. I have had a few different pizzas but the AMERICANO is amazing!!!!!!!! last time we went I was upset we didnt get two of those! Trust me!!!! get it!!!! Also they have a small menu you can order from at the italian place next door and the pasta I got was fab too. Cannott recommended this place enough! It is a little smaller but they do take reservations now and have a waiter (not order at counter) however I have not had a problem getting a table!

Lele B.

Yelp
I came last night for some quick pizza with my boyfriend. We had been meaning to try this place. For a Sunday, it was pretty crowded and we grabbed a spot at the bar/ pizza counter. One of the cooks noticed that my boyfriend and I were trying to name all of the specialty meats behind the counter. The cook asked which one my bf would like to try and we just laughed and said it was OK ,but thanks. He then proceeded to make up a little plate of meats for him... with salamis, prosciutto, etc! It was so incredibly sweet of him! That's the kind of thing that makes me give a place 5 stars. Way to make a customer super happy! Also, the pizza was great and our waitress was very friendly.

Mith R.

Yelp
Exceptionally delicious neapolitan pizza! The meatball white pizza and the spicy red pie were universally loved by our group.

Ashley C.

Yelp
Great neighborhood Pizza joint. The crust is tasty and thin the pizza's are not huge. The meatballs are a very good as an appetizer - save the leftover sauce to dip your crust into! The beet salad is tasty and fresh. There is usually a few pizza specials and I would recommend these if the toppings appeal to you. If not we usually go with the Margarita pizza - it is fresh and easy. They have great small desserts as well - the Salted Caramel gelato is always a good choice, last time we were there they put strawberries and whipped cream with it, just wonderful. White wine and Rose wine on draft!

Shannon B.

Yelp
This place is understaffed with wait service who doesn't have any sense of urgency. I'm seriously disappointed.

Ashley J.

Yelp
The pizzas are a little overpriced for me. The Americano was good but the Diavola was sub par

Lauren O.

Yelp
Brick oven pizza. Nothing special. All meat options were pork. No other meats available. The spicy sauce was good. Parking was hard to find at peak dinner time on a week day night as the lot was full and we had to find parking a couple of blocks away.

Alison C.

Yelp
My favorite pizza in Atlanta! This place is fabulous. It's owned by the restaurateur who runs Valencia next door, which is an upscale, white tablecloth Italian place. The story I heard is the owner had connections with all the true Italian meat and cheese vendors through Valencia, so he decided to parlay the authentic ingredients into a casual Neapolitan pizza joint. WHAT A GOOD IDEA. These pizzas are not Mellow Mushroom - they are traditional, thin, Neapolitan crust. If you want Pizza Hut, go to Pizza Hut. If you want a really fantastic gourmet pizza experience in a casual neighborhood vibe, Vero is your spot. I definitely recommend choosing one of their menu pizzas instead of making your own because their chefs know just what delicate balance of ingredients really makes these pizzas shine. Each pizza goes in a super hot oven for about 90 seconds, so they come out fast and hot. Great for kids and groups. Service is excellent, good wine menu despite the casual digs, and excellent non-pizza items. The calzone is great; the kale salad with anchovies is my favorite. I recommend the mushroom garlic pizza. And if you like spice, ask for a serving of their calabrian chili oil - not for the faint of heart!

Morgan W.

Yelp
Tried this for the first time on a Monday night when pizzas were half off - it was a great Monday pick-me-up! Got the polpetta pizza and it was flavorful, crispy and all-around tasty. Nice patio spot too. I'll definitely be back!

Gui G.

Yelp
This would be a 3.5 star review, bumped to 4 because of the "neighborhood" factor. We ordered delivery (during pandemic times) and were happy with the flavor, presentation and value received. Ordered one white pizza and one traditional red sauce pizza. Everything tasted great and we will likely visit once restaurants open again for dine in (hopefully soon).

Vanessa C.

Yelp
Eek!!! I love this pizza place!!!! This pizza place is owned by the restaurateur who owns Valencia next door, which is an upscale Italian place. The two restaurants share the same bathroom. They have a small outside patio that over looks the Brookhaven area. They cook their pizzas on a wood-burning stove...yum-o!!! They have approximately 10 pizzas to select from and all are equally tasty. The #1 is a build your own and up to 2 toppings are included, each additional topping has an added fee. I LOVE the mushroom pizza! It is served with a creme sauce rather then the traditional red sauce. The meatball pizza is to die for!!! I ordered this one during this visit. I, also, had the Kale salad, which is their version of a Cesar salad. Monday night's they offer a special on pizza, house wine, and beer. All pizzas are $10 (normally they range from $13-$17), white and red house wine is $4 (normally around $10) and $2 beer. The pizzas are perfect for two people. All of the staff are super friendly! A big plus in my opinion.

Bob K.

Yelp
This has to one of the poorest excuses for pizza in the metro Atlanta area. It's basically a thin crust with you choice of one or two items on a crust. If you want more than 2, it's extra. The amount of "stuff" they put on this pizza is minimal at best. Maybe several slices of meatball, a few drops of cheese, and maybe a marble size tomato. A sample of dried basil leaves was also on the pizza All of these pizzas are of the 12" variety & Nothing larger. By the time your group has pizzas, you could spend $60-80 without trying . This pizza was nothing to write home about. The music was Ga Tech radio which it impossible to talk to each other.

Yelp
How can there be such bad service, undercooked pizza and a lack of any service with 7 people - employees standing around. Our last visit here - so sad because it's a perfect spot to have dinner - don't understand why no one is managing this place.

Yelp
I am impressed, Vero Pizzeria was truly remarkable. The menu is extensive, I was overwhelmed with the choices. Vero Pizzeria has a terrific Cannoli, give it a try I believe you would like it, I certainly love it. The staff was attentive, quick, and really friendly. I can not praise Vero Pizzeria enough.

Yelp
We ordered Uber eats from Vero on Nov. 6th 2016 (i know sorry I'm just now getting a chance to write this review) and we had high expectations as we love the sister restaurants Haven and Valenzia, and the waitress from Valenzia was telling us about how great the Vero Pizza is and that they imported a brick stone oven from Italy. Unfortunately, it seems the staff has received no training on how to use this fancy stone oven, as our pizza was burnt on the bottom and practically inedible. We ended up eating the toppings off and throwing the crust away. I might give them another chance sometime in the future, but please Vero management, make sure you give your cooks some training (and you could end up having something great there!)

Yelp
My husband and I love this place! I saw photos of the burned crust but, this was likely when they first opened. We went when they first opened and the crust was not the best. They have now perfected it! I recommend the vero salad and we usually get the meatball pizza with it. Delish!

Yelp
My Italian grandma (91), who is not currently allowed outside of the nursing home due to COVID-19 continues to rave about the pizza. Before COVID, we came in for dinner and she told the manager, "this is the best real Italian pizza in Atlanta". I brought her a pizza for her and her friends to share in the home, and the joy in her eyes! Worth every penny! Delicious, great service! Keep it up!
