My husband caught one of the black fellas hand with my husband phone while just walking. The other fella grabbed my arm while offering to buy drugs. Both of us was just passing by as we stayed in Sol Tenerife hotel and we were on the way to the hotel. Horrible place. Be very careful

Las Verónicas is pure chaos — always alive, bars blasting, streets buzzing. But watch your pockets (phone got stolen once, nearly twice) and be ready to get tugged into bars or even bordellos. Wild night guaranteed, dignity optional. just keep one hand on your drink and the other on your pocket!

⚠️ Safety Warning ⚠️ I want to warn others about what happened to me here. I was attacked and had my belongings stolen, and my drink was spiked. My girlfriend ended up in hospital as a result of this incident. This was a terrifying experience and I strongly advise others to be very careful if you choose to visit. Stay safe and look out for each other.

I walked through it several times thanks to my hotel being right in front of if. In the daytime, it's a constant barrage of dealers offering every drug under the sun. When you say "no thanks", they then follow you asking"why not?", whistling and trying to call you back or guys trying to grab your hands to put tacky bracelets on your wrist. At night, it's much worse: ladies of the night, girls getting spiked, pickpockets, muggings, fights. I nearly got into a fight because I refused to shake hands with a bar rep. I don't want random people grabbing me when I know they're clearly up to something. I've been to many other clubbing places but none as sketchy as this

Sorry for the 2 star rating, but the simple fact is on the night you can't move 10 yards without being asked if you want any drugs....of multiple descriptions......if you don't mind that we'll iyd the place for you. On the other hand if you would rather a bit of shopping we'll then its not too bad in the daytime to be fair. But as going away as a family, I would suggest sticking to daytime visits.

Very lively. Quite expensive. Fun for the younger generation!

Scam spot. They pull you into bars and charge for overpriced “cocktails” that are nothing more than juice. Dealers are everywhere, no police around, and my phone was stolen. The whole experience ruined the trip. Avoid this place completely. Instead, stick to the British pubs nearby, they’re far safer and much more enjoyable.

TRAVELLERS BEWARE! Staff are super nice and welcoming, prices seem fair but it's all a game. Me and my partner went there had two drinks and then asked for a water as we felt very drunk for only having 2. The bartender became quite visibly annoyed that we had asked for a water so we left after only being there for one hour. As we were walking down the street we were attacked from behind with myself being punched in the back of the head and knocked out and our belongings stolen. After talking to the staff at our resort we were told Veronica's is notorious for spiking, theft and assault. Please be aware when going past as other tourists were hounded walking by and plenty of videos on their pages of woman's private areas that seem to be taken unknowingly
