We popped in on our way to Mahoney's Garden Center. Looked really big on the outside. They had a deli so hubby and I split a grilled cheese. It was AMAZING. Best grilled cheese on the planet. Hubby and I have a date in 1 month to go back for another grilled cheese because it was so good. They also had some gorgeous desserts, but we decided not to get any as we already had dinner reservations, but definitely next time. Everyone there was super friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Food prices were comparable to a regular grocery store but definitely not as big as selection. Definitely worth a visit.

Went strawberry picking in the first week of June! Entry to the field is timed so that it's not too crowded and picking is staggered into different rows for different weeks as the berries ripen. Got 8lbs from a 4 quart basket in about an hour, and ended up being about $5/lb.

Google
This sunflower farm is perfect because they have local grocery store as well. The sunflower farm is across the street from the grocery store, it was kinda confusing a little bit where to go. But we did pay the $10 fee in the cashier and they told us to go across the street, $10 also get you 5 sunflowers that you can pick out yourself. It was a gloomy day but the sunflowers are still beautiful and some if them are bigger than our faces. Beautiful!

This is always such an impeccably clean, fresh vegetable market (so much more than a.stand!). Excellent pies and deli sandwiches as well! The surrounding area, close to the Sudbury River in Lincoln, is also New England bucolic. Worth a trip!

Google
Stunning Farm with the most beautiful sunflowers breeds! They have a big circle field around the flowers, that you can sit, eat and drink with friends or family. Beautiful vibes especially during golden hour. I actually got engaged there a couple of days ago! I cant wait to visit again soon. Please visit this beautiful land with amazing people and views.

Google
What a fun experience. Great selection of vegetables, pastries and the sandwich bar was outstanding. We tried the Chicken quesadilla, the church wrap, the turkey sandwich and the pastrami sandwich. There were no complaints. All the sandwiches were perfect. The carrot cake was probably the best I have ever tried. Chock full of walnuts and carrots. The lady working the sandwich bar was such a nice person. I highly recommend this place

Google
What can I say? This is one of my favorite places. I must go here three times a week prepared meals a yummy check out the Mike special get it on white pickles on the side. Get some of that chipotle mayonnaise that’s what it really makes it delicious if you dump that sandwich in that chipotle mayonnaise, you can have them cut the sandwich and fries makes it easier to eat it. Tell him Anthony sent you. Yeah I’m an actor in Boston type cast as a police officer. I also have a junk removal business.

A very pleasant rural setting. Easy to park. Easy to check out at the register. They had phone pay. We stopped in order to buy some vegetarian food for some guests. They had a very good selection of items to choose from, most of which we sampled ourselves and were quite delicious.

Yelp
Verrill Farm store is very quaint and refreshing! There are neat offerings from the farm, freshly made foods, and even a cafe inside. I attended an event hosted at the farm with my fiancé. We were able to go on a hay ride to see the farm grounds. It laid patterned rows of fresh dirt prepared for the upcoming year and almost harvest-ready plants. The employees were kind and professional. We really appreciated their informative approach to teach about their farm practices and different recipes their crop is used.

Yelp
I went to verrill farm for a yelp event on june 1. It is a big farm. They offer very fresh strawberries...i will definitely come back to pick strawberries. Highly recommended to anyone in MA!!

Yelp
So, I really avoid writing online reviews, but I feel Verrill deserves one. What do I love about it? The Pies (all butter crust) are amazing, Mike's panini, their corn, and when the heirloom tomatoes are in, they don't destroy the flavor and texture by storing them in a refrigerator. I wish they'd bring back those chocolate mocha cookies. Oh and the orange cranberry scones.

Yelp
A MUST DO! 4 & 1/2 STARS! It's Time to jump into The TimeMobile & scour the Earth & take you to places from a different time that you won't believe still exist. We have set the dial to 1922 in the town of Concord MA. Steve Verrill's father & mother moved to Concord in 1918 & started a successful dairy business in 1922. In 1957 Steve graduated from Cornell University & in 1982 assumed operations of the farm. In 1990 Steve & Joan decided to sell their dairy herd & convert to growing & selling produce. Steve & Joan's daughter graduated from UMass Amherst & began working in local restaurants & developed an interest in cooking & baking. When she returned to the family farm, a small bakery was built in the old milking parlor. There the Verrill Farm pies were created in a small roadside tent. They outgrew the space & 1995 built a new space that included a commercial kitchen & Jen & others made baked goods & foods to go. The farm grew & expanded over the years. Let's fast forward to 2022 & Verrill Farm is now celebrating its 100th YEAR & still is FAMILY OWNED & OPERATED! It now offers New England specialty foods, their own fresh produce in season, fresh flowers, gifts, prepared foods to go & homemade baked goods. Jennifer's husband, Tim is now part of the Verrill Farm team as well as their two daughters, Chloe & Grace. It's now become a fourth generational business. You have to Check out their Calendar of Events for the many Seasonal Things to Do throughout the year. Here's just a few of the Fun Activities: Strawberry Picking, Wandering through the Sunflower Fields & Picking Flowers. They have Summer Festivals & feature Farm to Table & Field to Fork dinners highlighting their own farm grown crops. They have The Corn & Tomato Festival & in the Fall there's The Pumpkin Patch. They have Hay Rides & Horse back Riding & many other activities too. You can shop at the Farm Stand & Farm Bakery. They have their own Produce grown on over 200 acres of farmland in Concord & Sudbury. There are 100 acres here that are dedicated to wildlife habitats, woodlands & wetlands. They grow over 40 crops. They also have an on site kitchen, deli & bakery . They prepare fresh soups, entrees, sandwiches & baked goods daily. You can do Online Deli Orders. They are known for their Delicious Home Made Pies & Grab & Go Meals all prepared that you can reheat at home. They have all kinds of fresh sandwiches that they create. It's like going to a mini supermarket inside specializing in their own farm products. Their Cranberry Turkey takes just like Thanksgiving Dinner. Delicious! They have their own cookbook out now too called A Farm Grows in Concord - Celebrating 100 Years of Verrill Farm. The book is a history of the farm itself, the town of Concord with pictures & recipes. It's available at the farm & other selected retailers. They also tap their maple trees for sugaring & maple products. They are open year round. They also have BBQ Thursday's. This Farm is Known For their Apples, Bakery, Beef, Berries, Cheese, CSA, Christmas Trees, Corn, Educational Programs, Eggs, Farm Stand, Festivals, Flowers, Fruit, Herbs, Honey, Kitchen, Maple Products, Online Ordering, Pick Your Own, Plants, Pumpkins, Vegetables & Wholesale. They don't have a restaurant but you can order the food in the store & in nice weather eat outside on their picnic tables in a country tranquil setting. Verrill Farm is a Fun, Delicious Place to Go, Eat & Explore. And the here PARKING IS FREE! It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

Yelp
Lunch and getting corn for evening's cowboy caviar dish. Harvest sandwich is a turkey wrap. The draw for me was the cranberry sauce. I cannot pass up on a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. My eyes were bigger than my belly. I grabbed a prepackaged chickpea salad and luckily did not open before finishing my wrap. I was happily satisfied with the turkey wrap. For my vegetarian friend, she had a delicious and likely super fresh/local veggie wrap. The kiddos had a simplied turkey sandwich and roast beef sandwich made to their specifications. I picked out 4 ears of corn and look forward to shucking them for the salad. If I were solo, I would have gone a bit wild with all the amazing produce and baked goods. It's a beautiful farm with the shot. There is a pick your own sunflowers field.

Hungrytommy ..

Yelp
I've belonged to three different CSAs and theirs is the absolute best. Not only is the quality of the produce excellent, but you have the choice to fill up your basket with the vegetables you prefer and leave behind those that don't interest you. Inside their market is very good too. They make excellent scones. The cranberry orange one is the best. Very much worth a visit.

Yelp
So disappointed in Verrill Farms these days. As a local resident, I've been visiting with my family every week to two weeks for many years. Before covid, Verrill had AMAZING sandwiches and deli for a somewhat reasonable price (for the area). My brother used to go there daily for lunch. During covid, they had to stop the deli counter and only sell pre-made stuff. That was fine, we all understood. But as the prices started to creep up (I get it, supply issues) and then the deli reopened for made-to-order sandwiches, and now I've been disappointed every time. Their sandwiches used to be worth the money, but now when you get a "wrap" you get mostly tortilla, like one slice of lettuce, etc. Not worth $10, I can tell you. Other places in the area have maintained quality product & reasonable quantity for their prices - but not Verrill. I've visited a few times over the past months to see if it was fixed, and after my last visit this week I've given up on them. That isn't even to mention that their deli counter never fully reopened, but the remade ones they make now are no longer cost-reasonable either. Orzo salad? $6 for a cup worth. Molly's spicy noodles? used to be like $11 for a quart, now that is closer to the price for a pint. A few years ago, we tried their CSA since they have great produce. That was a let-down as well, as it seemed like they gave us the produce that they couldn't sell in the store. We have since switched to a different farm's CSA and are much happier. Overall, So, so, so disappointed in Verrill Farm.

B C.

Yelp
Overall this is a nice place. The sandwiches can be good and the selection of their own produce is very nice. Prices are a bit higher than expected especially for third party products such as doms sausage. They also have great events such as the pumpkin festival for the little ones.

Cecelia G.

Yelp
A visit to Verrill Farm is always a treat. Today some folks were enjoying a hayride, while inside the store was stocked with a variety of fresh produce. I've included some photos of just a few of the many fruits, vegetables, and baked goods that are available. Prices are up everywhere and Verrill Farm is no exception. Selective shopping can still yield rewarding results. One of their services is prepared foods. At 4 pm the elderly can be observed swarming around the refrigerator sections like so many bees in a garden. The cashiers and floor workers are helpful and pleasant. Watch this space for my updates as the summer progresses.

Marieme A.

Yelp
Fresh produce, great service, a bit on the pricey side but I feel worth your while given the quality.

Jeannine O.

Yelp
This review is for the Corn and Tomato Festival which was aweeesome! So fun. They had a huge variety of tomatoes to sample and nice thick juicy slices to taste them all. It was fun to compare all the various flavors some of which were substantially different. Two varieties of fresh corn and various other items in their tasting tent. Everything was really tasty! The quesadilla with fresh salsa was as good as any I've had. The blueberry cornbread was moist and delicious! I've never had that combination and was pleasantly surprised. Could've eaten an entire plateful of just that. They had another sweet and I wish that I had taken a picture of the menu board because I think it was a spicy tomato jam layered in between the bake and that was really good. Frittata with fresh veggies and jalapeños, goat cheese tomato frittata, Mac and cheese, bean corn cucumber with a lemon zing. All really fresh and flavorful. Great live musicians added a nice ambiance to the event. Will make this a yearly tradition!

Yelp
My writing about the rude customers here is no longer funny. My wife and I were standing in line near the candy and a middle-aged man came rushing by. My wife was NOT in the way, but instead of saying "Excuse me," he stuck out his elbow as he went past into her back to SHOVE her out of the way. He then stood there looking at the candy, like nothing happened. When I asked him why he did that, he ignored me then turned and stood in line behind us, just glaring at me. So I called him an a-hole and he just continued to stare at me in total arrogance. The poor clerk was so nervous because he saw what happened. I will forever regret not calling the police and having the guy charged with assault. I don't blame this place. As I've written before, maybe it's the town or this particular customer base, but they have THE rudest customers I've ever encountered. I have NEVER, ever had this problem in ANY other place in my life. If the customers aren't assaulting you, they're making sure their time in front of the items is as long as they want, dammit, and will run you over with a cart to get a sandwich. Never going back. I've been to thousands of other places and towns with friendly people and this isn't necessary.

Andrea M.

Yelp
Local farm market , lots of choices. Easy to take home a pre made dinner. Locals love to shop here. It's a little pricey but not too bad. Very clean.

Ellen K.

Yelp
Best bakery, hands down! Perfect for all your veggies and they have great homemade takeout! And yes, that was probably me sprinting in to get the last warm blueberry pie before they sell out!

Reid F.

Yelp
Here's the thing: most people go to Verrill Farm for their prepared lunches/dinners. But if you read the ingredients of most of the meals, they include disodium inosinate and/or disodium guanylate. Both of these chemicals are similar to monosodium glutamate (MSG), and each has similar, unpleasant side effects. When I asked someone there why they use these "flavor enhancers," I was told that they don't actually add them, but they buy ingredients that have the chemicals. So, my question is, "Why use these ingredients?" Surely, you can find more wholesome components that do the same thing without poisoning your customers.

Yelp
I was in the area for the holidays and wanted to stop in, as my family lived down the street many years ago. Verrill Farms was where I started my love affair with horses and mucked many a stall for free riding lessons. Fast forward to 2021 ...I was thrilled to see how this farm has grown and thrived into a beautiful farm to table store. There were a large selection of fresh produce, dairy, baked goods and charming memorabilia. Even though it was Christmas Eve, the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. I'm looking forward to seeing the stables during the warmer months.

Cat K.

Yelp
Foolishly tried the apple pie almost a year later and it's still a poor quality. I was hoping the last one that was so terrible was just a one off but Verrill is still offering this low quality pie. Once again, half the size in height it once was just a couple years back and still with the-hard stale crumb topping and the stringy apples that are no longer sweet tasting but are an obvious lower quality. Never again. Could have saved $14 and bought a frozen pie with a better quality.

Chris O.

Yelp
Visited on a Saturday for their annual Corn and Tomato Festival and had such a relaxing and tasty filled experience! We sat under the big outdoor tent near their sunflower fields listening to lovely live music and eating a variety of different tomatoes and 2 types of corn on the cob. They also served plates of tasty treat dishes created from corn and tomato bases that were a pleasure to fill up on. Savory, sweet and delicious - all for $10 a person. The farm store is filled with cheeses and vegetables and worth perusing also. A great family environment or just a relaxing stroll around the farm with your friends or significant other on a weekend drive. Definitely recommend checking out this great farm outside of Boston.

Yon H.

Yelp
Verrill Farms has great food and amazing produce, the best selection of local peaches in the summer. What I am savoring now is pie, an apple pie. Every Verrill pie I've ever had it top notch. They do pies better than anyone else!!

Bea T.

Yelp
Very nice place to get some local groceries and take out food really good stuff. I had ancient grains it was delicious. There is a tent you can eat under while you're social distancing because of the coded crisis. To get flowers too.

Keith W.

Yelp
I'm writing this review in the hope that others can avoid wasting money at this place. We have shopped here many times and it's always been good, until last week. The checkout person was so preoccupied with tossing each item of our shopping into the air he forgot to pack some figs. The Tuna salad was mislabeled and was in fact chicken salad. My wife's scone was stale. My English muffins went moldy after just 2 days. Obviously we will not be back. I can only assume a change of management as before it was good and now, it's frankly appalling.

Anrana S.

Yelp
Located down in Nine Acre Corner. Similar to a Wilson Farm. Huge emphasis on fresh produce, most of which they grow themselves. I typically stop in for a quick lunch to go. They have a decent grab and go selection. Premade sandwiches. Interesting salads. Upscale beverage selection. Nice baked goods. I know people who swear by the morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches here. Small seating area. Lots of outdoor picnic tables in the warmer months. In spring they are known for their huge selection of heirloom tomato plants. And PYO strawberries.

Alix T.

Yelp
What started as a family vegetable stand has become a delicious and dependable supplier of prepared foods for the people of Concord and surrounding towns. The sandwiches are delicious: you will see cyclists there for lunch on any decent riding day (or for coffee or soup on the not so good days). Seniors and others can find individual meals to reheat or a quiche to share. The bakery products and desserts are delicious and plentiful. The scones are extra special and come in many delicious flavors... They also have a varied catering menu; both special items and casual fare: I was once out of town when our daughter and family arrived to visit, so I ordered ahead and my husband only had to pick it up to get through the first day of their visit: quiche, egg salad, tuna salad, scones, deli meats, frittata, and some cookies of course. Of course it is still a vegetable stand with many of their own products; so you can do your grocery shopping and pick up a prepared dinner at the same time.

Julie N.

Yelp
Went strawberry picking here and it was a great experience. Definitely make sure to come during the earliest time slot so you can get the best selections for the day! They also have a nice store for a lot of produce and selection of local goods.

Kat S.

Yelp
This becoming our favorite local farm to visit on the weekends. From fresh produce to PYO flowers and fruits and all their fun events. It's such a great location!

Emma Ruth B.

Yelp
Decent prices for farm to table type veggies. A good selection, too, for most of them coming from their own farm. Was pretty crammed on a Saturday morning. Incredible cheese selection. Wish they had more other local dairy products, especially cream or gallon milk in glass jars.

kat s.

Yelp
Love this farm. The staff is friendly, the store and grounds are always clean and the sandwiches are delicious. A good selection of treats from the bakery are always available. We also look forward to picking strawberries every year in June. Worth the trip!

Jennifer M.

Yelp
My husband took me to Verrill farms for sunflower picking to celebrate my bday. Afterwards we stopped by the deli to have a quick bite. My newborn has an allergy to dairy and soy, and since I am her only source of food I am on a dairy and soy free diet as well. I stumbled across a tortellini salad and upon reviewing the ingredient list I saw that it was safe and did not contain any dairy and soy. I even asked an employee working to verify this is correct. She stated if it had dairy it would be listed. As soon as I took I swallowed that first tortellini I knew it contained dairy so I stopped eating it. I asked another employee who this time asked the chef. The chef confirmed there was dairy and said again it should be listed. I showed them the ingredient list that clearly showed no dairy listed. They offered to talk to the manager to get a refund but my that time I was so upset I just wanted. After one day my baby is already showing signs of discomfort and it breaks my heart. I will never go back to this place and will take this up with the manager. I expect an establishment that serves food to be transparent with their ingredients especially in relation to food allergies. Now my baby is suffering for their mistake.

Jon P.

Yelp
This place is awesome. The food is fresh and top quality. I go there at least twice a week sometimes more for sandwiches, dinners and groceries.

Terrify J.

Yelp
Verrill farm has pies that are beyond good. I would say that the pies make this place. They do other things well but the pies have it. Their fresh tomatoes and corn are great when in season

Julia D.

Yelp
Really tasty local produce as well as a great selection of dairy including milk in glass bottles, locally raised meat products, and lovely flowers, cards and gifts as well. I haven't tried their baked goods or deli but those looked good as well. So much more than a simple farm stand!

Justine P.

Yelp
I am a huge lover of sunflowers, and my fiancé and daughter brought me here because not only did we get to admire the beautiful sunflowers (many different types, too!) you are allowed to take a bouquet home! This really made the trip worthwhile, we had a wonderful time! If you are a sunflower lover, for sure go!

Dave C.

Yelp
A pleasant trip every time! They're a fantastic local farm that offers great grocery options as well as fresh baked goods, deli, and signature events like strawberry picking, sunflower picking, and a great fall fest with pumpkins. If you're passing by, the baked goods are worth the stop with so many options including pies that are out of this world. I may or may not have bought the apple pie and claimed as my own at a BBQ. :) Thanks Verrill and keep up the good work!

Diana K.

Yelp
Review based on our lunches from the deli and sitting outside under their tent... First time here and yelp reviews helped us decide to try it. You can smell baked goods from the parking lot. We headed right in to the bakery/deli area which was stocked with so many sweet temptations from cookies to pies to scones and more! A display case of fresh deli salads sold by the pound and prepared meats flanks the sandwich makers who are behind them ready to take you order. There was a steady line of people placing their orders and it moved rather quickly. You order, wait or shop and they'll call your name when your order is ready. You can pay at the deli or at the registers at the front of the store. There are some seats inside near the deli if you wish to eat indoors. I decided on the hot chicken quesadilla in a wheat wrap with a 1/4 lb of the mango quinoa salad. My friend ordered the southwestern chicken wrap and a 1/4 lb of the black bean, corn and cucumber salad. As we waited I couldn't resist the baked goods so bagged a cranberry orange scone for our dessert and also pursued the store. They offer locally grown veggies as well as "commercial" brands, grass fed beef, organic chicken and pork. Local eggs and milk and a large selection of refrigerated prepared meals to go and some specialty gourmet items. All around cute store with a good selection. It took a about 10 minutes for our names to be called and we proceeded outside behind the store to dine under one of the tents. We had a little company but it wasn't crowded by any means. The view was spectacular as you overlook their farm. Great setting! I enjoyed my quesadilla a lot. A good crisp to my wrap, lots of chicken and fillings. And hot (in temperature but not too spicy). 5 star quesadilla! The mango quinoa was good as well with ample mango pieces. My friend wasn't 100% thrilled with her wrap because it wasn't spicy at all and expected some spice as it was a Southwestern wrap. It was also on a tomato wrap and she expected spinach. I took a bite and agreed it wasn't what I've had in the past with southwestern wraps from other establishments. Her bean salad was ok but somewhat bland. I think I had the more satisfying lunch. Then we were only going to share 1/2 of the scone and save the other half for later but couldn't stop once we stared so ate the show thing. The glacé on top was a nice compliment to the cranberry tartness. Only $1.95. If in the area in the future, I'd definitely return!

Jenna M.

Yelp
Verrill is a beautiful farm and seems like a wonderful selection, but very poor customer service. Aside from having emailed and called more than four times to book a group outing/event with no response, the woman in charge of organizing events was rude and unwelcoming. Because of that, I will take my business elsewhere and likely not turn to Verrill for any outing, whether that be for work or personal.

W M.

Yelp
Prices are too high for the quality of the products be marketed. The top quality veggies probably go to their restaurant business. Too expensive for my pocket book. I question the organic/grass fed beef they sell. What type of grass do the animals feed on?

Lee S.

Yelp
Quality Christmas trees! Purchase one and it's lasted for over 3 weeks! Yay!!

Karsten S.

Yelp
We like to stop by Verrill Farm for a quick lunch on trips through the area. Their sandwiches and salads are nice and they have a large selection of take-out food in their slightly pricey farm store. Plenty of outside seating makes for delightful summer meals. The one negative for us is their horrible coffee. No idea what is going on there.

Dawn B.

Yelp
Fresh produce (of course, it is a farm after all!) In season, vegetables are reasonably priced (kale! Yes) although the prices of nearly everything are higher than the grocery store (you pay for quality and freshness, I understand that.) A small loan is necessary to purchase their specialty foods ($11.50 for 6 oz. of "to die for" dip? I would die paying that price, and it had better send chills down my spine when eating it.) Most of the clientele would probably pay twice the price they are charging, so Verrill Farms is not hurting for business.

Maggie M.

Yelp
We love Verrill! My son is obsessed with their sandwiches and I love all the fresh & local items. I got a pint of maple ice cream there that was outrageously delicious. The staff is always super friendly which is nice because every time we go that place is packed!

Vivian C.

Yelp
I finally had the chance to fulfill a long time dream of mine to: 1) pick corn 2) eat corn freshly picked Thanks, Verrill, for the opportunity! Sure, I had to get up super-early to make it for the scheduled meet up time at 6am on their calendar of events. Sure, afterwards I had caked on dirt/mud on my shoes to deal with. Sure, I was super-glad I had worn my raincoat to have some sort of protection against the cool of the early morning, since it also protected me against the dew that clung to the corn stalks which were then conveyed onto me. But also, sure, I was given a plastic bag to fill with corn freshly plucked (by me!) from the stalk at no charge! Thanks, Verrill, for your generosity! And for teaching me that each stalk basically only produces one full sized ear of corn, and to boil or steam corn over boiling water for 2 minutes. Thanks again!

Spencer S.

Yelp
Great food. But, rude disgruntled workers behind the the deli. Overpriced. I always feel rubbed the wrong way going there. Plus their handling of covid in annoying and overblown. Avoid.

Maggie L.

Yelp
We go to Verril Farm weekly. It's a very pretty spot & a nice store. I like how they have home goods and specialty items for sale such as aprons, napkins, teas, and toiletries. That said, it is a pretty upscale market. I feel that their soups, entrees, and appetizers sold in the refrigerated section can be hit or miss. Their meatloaf and soups are usually very, very good. I like the spaghetti and meatball offerings and the dumplings with sauteed vegetables and a soy based sauce are really pretty good. A few times I ordered the flank steak and found it a little disappointing as a large vein of fat and gristle ran through the slices I bought, and weren't seasoned enough. Also, seemed like choice beef, not prime. I bought a chicken coconut curry entree with vegetables and rice. The vegetables and rice were overcooked, the chicken pieces not very good and the curry was underseasoned. So - hit or miss at times. The made to order sandwiches arrive quickly but I found only the turkey BLT wrap appeals to me. There are so many other types of sandwiches to offer - just kind of underwhelming. Foccacia or pita instead of the ubiquitous tortilla wrap. Rye bread. Scalia bread. Bagels ? I often peruse their prepared foods case out of curiosity but the prices for me are prohibitive. A glazed salmon filet for 19.99 a pound ?! A pound is 16 oz. That's a small filet piece really. Their cheeses, breads, and produce is impressive, again, somewhat prohibitive cost. I usually end up purchasing cheddar, chevre, gruyere, or a cheese spread. I often get the Italian pre made sandwiches but lately have found the lettuce with the pesto mayo pretty limp and the bread tasting like cardboard, so I stopped buying it. I had a mushroom bisque there that was completely outstanding. Whoever made that - Wow. An artist. I complained to the management once that their male sandwhich counter staff were making loud obscene comments about me as I shopped. Not much a life, I'm afraid. The misogyny....would shoppers like filthy comments as they buy French milled soap or is just me whose the target ? Thanks for that.

Jayce B.

Yelp
Very nice strawberry picking with a great little market to go with it. A very pleasant and relaxed place

Andrew M.

Yelp
Great sandwiches and homemade desserts. I ordered the jalapeno BLT which was very good, though not nearly hot enough for my liking. All the staff was friendly and helpful! Store is nice, but a little small which means it feels very crowded at times.

Yelp
Great pies! As a baker myself I find it difficult to find high quality baked goods at stores, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious their pies are! I look forward to returning!

Yelp
This is a fabulous place with LOADS of fresh produce, plants, baked goods, prepared foods, gifts, and more. The staff is helpful and friendly-just ask! The scones are delicate and flavorful and offered in close to a dozen flavor selections (the Orange Cranberry are amazing,, closely followed by the Strawberry Rhubarb). At $1.95 they are a true bargain! The desserts are lovely but more important, they taste even better than they look. The Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Pie bars are decadent and the Rhubarb Raspberry Bars are the perfect taste of spring. Do not miss the cookies-as good as grandma makes!!! Best of all, Verrill Farm is locally owned and is a FARM-open land in Concord-a rare occurrence that should be supported and encouraged.

Yelp
This kale salad was delicious! I had this for lunch and it is quite filling... all the ingredients were fresh and it it a great mix together. I'm going to grab some more when I'm around the area again.

Yelp
Verrill Farm is the heart of Concord's fresh food scene. But beyond the fresh produce, Verrill also carries local cheeses, has an *outstanding* deli, bakes pastry each day (the scones are the best anywhere), and is simply a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee. We're lucky the Verrill's continue to make their New England icon better each year.
