Versante - Review - Off Main - Park City - The Infatuation

"In Utah, it’s actually illegal for alcohol to get discounted at Happy Hour (it’s a bummer, we know). But at this Italian restaurant within the Park City Peaks Hotel, you can get half off appetizers and pizzas from 4-5pm, which lines up well with the end of a ski day. Individual wood-fired pizzas and easy-to-split appetizers, like shishito peppers and spinach artichoke dip, make Versante great for groups. We like the Spiro pizza (named after a popular trail nearby), with prosciutto, roasted pistachios, baby arugula, and honey. During the winter, cozy up next to the fire pits on the patio. photo credit: Blake Peterson" - Jené Shaw

Meat Pie, Versatile Salad, & Creamy Pesto Bucatini were great. Surprisingly, the fries were awesome too. Service wasn't great. Server was super nice, but not very good at checking in.

Went for supper with four adults and two kids. Restaurant is easy to get to and has good parking. Facility was in excellent condition. The review of the food we had is mixed. The appearance and presentation of the food was excellent. The kids spaghetti and meatball was five stars. The honey pepperoni pizza was good but not great - 4 stars. Same goes for the garlic chicken pizza. The szechuan shrimp linguini had some issues. We were told it was a little spicy, but it was much more than that. In addition the linguini was tough and undercooked - 3 stars. I had the chicken parmesan. My noodles were also a little undercooked. The chicken was dry and tough - 3 stars. Service was a little slow but food came fast.

Some hiccups with the service with new staff members but overall I recommend! Nice atmosphere and easy to park. The build your own pizza had so many options. My fiancé said it was one of the top three pizzas he’s had in his life!

Google
The only thing good here is the homemade pizza. Over priced. It smells like sewage. Calamari was cold. Service is horrible. We waited 15 minutes for drinks. Servings were tiny. Drinks had more ice than alcohol. Kids drinks were not good, even my kids sent them back. We've been eating here since they opened and it's the worst yet.

We went with 4 adults and a young teenager. 3 pizzas and 2 salads were ordered and all were outstanding. Portion sizes were perfect! Food was delicious. Servers were friendly, and the owner came out to say hello. Atmosphere was wonderful.

Google
I love Brussel sprouts and order them whenever I can at restaurants. These sprouts are the best I’ve ever had. Nailed the crisp, honey glaze is so bomb. Spiro pizza was a really nice combination of flavors and not heavy. Great experience!

Stopped in on a Tuesday evening for some dinner. Sat at the bar as most tables were already filled. We enjoyed two of their specialty pizzas, and they were brought out hot and delicious. A wide variety of adult beverages are available, we had a cold beer. The restaurant has a casual yet elegant vibe and looked like it was frequented by some of the locals. However, we found parking to be a challenge so be aware of that. Prices are not cheap but you are, after all, in Park City Utah. Overall, I would be happy to go back and try more of what they have to offer.

Google
Really nice place. Very accessible for parking. Right off the main drag. The food was incredible. Unfortunately they took off the charcuterie board but believe it or not, the artichoke dip was fantastic. Their pizzas are really good. Fresh homemade crust and creative options. In addition to the pasta. Service was amazing. Very attentive. Definitely plan to return here.

Yelp
Here's your revised review incorporating the location note: **Great Food & Drinks--Despite the odd Hotel Location** We visited **Versante at Park City Peaks Hotel in July 2022**, and while the restaurant's location inside a hotel isn't the most ideal, the **food and drinks absolutely made up for it**! One of the highlights of our experience was the **custom cocktail they made for me** with **blue butterfly pea flower and lemon juice**--watching it change from blue to magenta was such a fun touch! The **wood-fired pizzas** were perfectly crispy with fresh toppings, and the **short rib pasta** was rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you're in Park City, **don't let the hotel setting deter you--Versante is worth a visit for its great food and creative drinks**. Would definitely return!

Yelp
Came here for a Friday night dinner. Place wasn't full at all. We made a reservation. It's very spacious inside and has a little of the sports bar vibe. Service was friendly and attentive. They checked on us a lot and were pretty nice. We got a salad to start which was pretty good and we also got margarita pizza and added mushrooms. We also had some wine, they had a decent selecting and decent price. Overall a nice place!

Yelp
We go to Versante at least a couple of times each month. We love the consistenty...excellent food, great service (thanks Andrew for running a great place). It's also nice they switch up the menu with the seasons so you're always able to try something new. They now have an official bar area too...thanks for the great cocktails Mars!

Yelp
We had a reservation and were sat right away in the bar area at a hightop. The server came over and awkwardly stood there until finally asking to scan our IDs. Service from there was limited throughout the meal. The drinks were good and were a positive of the evening. Unfortunately the food was very underwhelming. I ordered the elk bolognese since elk seems like a staple in utah. Well it felt like straight ground beef with noodles due to the limited liquid sauce. The noodles were also very mushy/overcooked. The burger was OK, but the fries were more like crisps/chips than fries. For the price and other options in park city, i'd opt for a different place next time in the area.

Yelp
Wanted to go out to dinner Wednesday night so we hopped in the car and ended up at Versante. We realized that it had been over a year since we ate there and that we both really wanted a good pizza so this was the place to go. The restaurant was almost empty, not surprising since it is the shoulder season here in Park City. We ended up sitting in the bar as we love the high top tables. Our server was named Mars, from Akron Ohio (she shared that with us). She was lovely, attentive and fun to talk to. We both ordered pizzas as this give us a built in lunch item for the following day. The wife went with "The Parkite" which is one of her favorites. Pesto, mozzarella, zucchini, artichoke hearts, sundried tomato topped with fresh basil and a balsamic glaze. It was delicious, the crust was perfectly cooked, not to thin and not soggy. I went with an off the menu special. They used to serve a pizza called with the Miners Meat Lover and that was my favorite. I was reminiscing about it with Mars when she picked up her, found an old menu and said "no problem" to me. It was every bit as good as I remembered, and with the addition of some additional pepperoni it satisfied my need for both pizza and cured meats. Now, is it right to give a place five stars when you come in, have two dishes and leave? Probably not, but we have eaten there many times without doing a review. So the rating is both for the meal we had this week and for all the times we have eaten there before. Food is solid, service is great, prices are reasonable. What more could you ask for from a local restaurant.

Yelp
As good as any pizza in park city. Great atmosphere and great service. Quick accurate and friendly

Yelp
Cozy restaurant serving pizza, pasta, soups and many more. Really enjoyed the spinach dip and Brussels sprouts for starters. The had the honey pepperoni and it was good, everyone else entrees looked delicious too. Our waiter I think his name was Bailey was really cool too, chill vibe and the food/checks all came out quick and correct. Overall 7.1/10

Yelp
Delicious pizza great ambience great service five stars. It was a great place for visitors, but also I saw a lot of locals come in the interior of the place is so iconic you gotta come and see it

Yelp
It's about time that I update this review! I've been back multiple times and I'm a big fan of Versante. I can't speak highly enough about the Brussels sprouts and Spiro pizza! They both have truffle honey on them, and the balance of flavors is perfection. So good. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
In town to visit friends and they took us here on our first night. The food was good and the service was excellent. Shared their Italian Chopped Salad and Margarita Pizza. A little weird that the Burata on the pizza was cold.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute restaurant for a girls night. None of us loved the pasta but the pizza was pretty good. Crust was well made, Interesting flavor combinations, some worked better than others. I'm 50/50 on whether I'd go back or not. Nothing wrong with the restaurant, but nothing that would make me crave going back.

Yelp
Great! We were hesitant because it's in a hotel, but the reviews were on point. Cocktails were AMAZING (mountain mule in particular). The STEAK SALAD was SOOO good! We ordered pizzas too because we assumed we'd still be hungry. Not the case! The steak salad is a very filling meal on its own, with nothing else. I got the salad pizza and it was SO good too!!! My friend got the one with sausage and black olives, but she wasn't impressed. She said mine was better. The bartender, Skyler, held down the fort. EXCELLENT customer service. He served the entire bar AND restaurant by himself. Plus, feeding us at the bar. Five stars for him. The bathroom was disturbing so I recommend using the hotel bathroom (thru the lobby in the back corner). And parking was fine. If the main lot is full, drive around to the other side. Free.

Yelp
Great food and cool vibes in Park city. Amazing pizza and drinks. What could you ask for? Versante is a restaurant bar that is located inside a hotel. Made reservations for a party of six on a weekend. Staff and service are super accommodating and were able to push my reservation back a little later because we were late. The restaurant and bar were super lively for the Super Bowl game, and we were able to ask for a seat with a view of the TVs. Food: - BBQ chicken pizza (5/5) - this was a suggestion from our waiter, it's not on the menu, but he suggested it as a secret menu item. Pizzas come out huge and are able to feed two people barbecue chicken was yummy, and the crust was soft. Get this one!! - Speziato pizza (3/5) - another popular suggestion, this Pizza had a spicy sweet combination with the chili infused honey. The peppers on it made it just a little too spicy so I took them off. It was unique, but I don't think I'd get it again. - Loaded Yukon pizza (5/5) - i'd say this is the star of the show. Think about a baked potato made into a pizza and the truffle tied it all together and made every bite delicious. The truffle was just the right amount, not overwhelming - The Spiro pizza (2/5) - if you like prosciutto, this pizzas is for you. I thought it was a bit salty. The truffle flavor didn't really come through but I really like the freshness of the arugula. - Fritos Misto Calamari (3/5) - the calamari serving is huge and shareable for a large party. Calamari pieces are breaded shrimp, which was interesting, but still yummy. - Traditional Caesar salad with shrimp (3/5) - the salad could've used more dressing, it didn't taste that ceasary. - Cookie Skillet (5/5) - the cookie skillet was delicious a warm cookie with vanilla ice cream on the top. Overall, a super solid place to eat, grab a drink, and hang after a day on the slopes. They have a selection of cocktails, beer on tap, and wine. Parking is easy and there's a bus stop right in front of the restaurant in case you're from out of town and taking public transportation in the area!

Yelp
Food is always delicious at Versante. Atmosphere is lively, fun , and pretty loud. Our server, Mars, was delightful and professional and efficient.

Yelp
Excellent service. Great place to go after Park City wine festival. Sorry, I did not get a photo of the two pizzas we inhaled! Shared appetizers included one with Brussel sprouts and one with artichokes. Eat your veggies! They are next to a motel and look like they have great outdoor dining area too for nice weather. One criticism: such a tiny shared bathroom for a big joint. Loved the moose painting. Cheers.

Yelp
I ordered the steak salad and ended coming again within a week for the same order. The steak tastes great and the portion size is normal. The salad and dressing is a great mix. They gave too much dressing for my taste which is not a complaint. Better too much than not enough. We also ordered bruschetta to go. The flavor was fine and they gave a ton of topping but my biggest complaint is the bread was WAY too small for the topping. I ended up with more than half of the topping leftover and eventually threw it away. I took off a star because they need to give more piece of bread with the bruschetta not only for the portion size, but also the price and topping. Need at least double the amount of bread to deal with the topping they give to spread over it. The taste was great on the buttered bread also.

Yelp
Came on a Friday night and had super high hopes for our meal based on the ratings on Yelp and Google. We ordered a plethora of food to try: the traditional Caesar, the Versante Sampler (artichoke dip, shishito peppers, bruschetta, and crispy Brussels sprouts), the pesto gnocchi, and their Spicy Perciatelli alla'Arrabbiata. The good: - We were seated immediately despite it being busy, and our food came out super quickly. - We enjoyed the shishito peppers and crispy Brussels sprouts (until they were a little two sweet for us) and the Spicy Perciatelli alla'Arrabbiata. The not so great: - The traditional Caesar salad was just okay. The dressing didn't have any flavor and the croutons had the taste and texture of stale bread. - From the Versante sampler, the artichoke dip came out cold and tasted very much just like a block of cream cheese, and the bruschetta had more artichoke hearts than tomatoes, but the flavor was okay. - Now, the pesto gnocchi was just dry. There was hardly any pesto on the dish so the gnocchi was just pockets of potato. The chicken that accompanied it was just okay; not over cooked but not moist. We were slightly disappointed with the outcome just based on how many people love this place. Or maybe we didn't order the right items.

Yelp
Everything was fantastic from the friendly staff, excellent attentive service and delicious food! We had the crispy Brussels sprouts (portion size easily for 6-8 ppl so imagine the look on me and my mom's face ). Also had the Parkite pizza and creamy bucatini pasta dish. Oh and the cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream. It was all excellent! And we have leftovers for tomorrow. YAY! Would definitely recommend!!!!

Yelp
I love this place year-round. I love when they do the outdoor seating and barbecue, and the indoor restaurant experience is always fun. They have a rotating menu so there is always an opportunity to try something new. Their pizzas are great, their drink menu is awesome, and they have this pesto pasta that is absolutely to die for.
google avatar

Tana A.

Yelp
I think we found the best pizza in Park City! The bbq chicken is on their secret menu and Im not big on spicy, so I cut out the Serrano peppers! It was delicious- little sweet and kittle tangy with just the right amount of red onion! Tried the sampler appetizer and those brussel sprouts were amazing. The bacon jam has a sweetness that compliments the dish well! And for PC prices were a pleasant surprise!
google avatar

Josh L.

Yelp
Had a great experience. Mars, the bartender, made a drink called after shock that was so good! It was a tequila cocktail and everyone needs to try it. Thanks Mars for a great time!
google avatar

Yelp
This was our first time here. Everything we tried was surprisingly good! The grilled trout was excellent! Hannah, our server was always on point and provided several helpful suggestions on ordering. We will be back!

Yelp
Food is good, no complaints there. Operations are brutal. Made a reservation at the advice of the hotel staff at check-in. Arrived at 6pm and there were only 10 other people there eating. We had to negotiate with the hostess on where we'd like to sit, and lost that negotiation, because they "had to keep a good balance for the servers" so we had to sit on metal chairs next to the pizza oven instead of the nicer part of the restaurant. Kids food came out great and they were happy. Ordered an Italian salad and asked for steak instead of chicken. It came out with both steak and chicken and was charged for both so a $30 salad now, not a big deal, it happens. I had a gift card I had purchased at a charity auction (part of a complete stay package and the reason of staying at this hotel in the first place). They would not honor it as it had a zero balance, stating that the card was used in full at the bar July 7 2024. I won the package in August. They supplied a non-profit with a gift card with a zero balance, nice. After 10 mins of waiting on the gift card debacle my family bailed to the pool which is actually pretty sick. The table was bussed during this gift card investigation so I sat at an empty table watching the Mark Gastinaeu 30 for 30. In short, food is acceptable for the price, service is acceptable but not to park city standards, hotel rooms are ok, pool is top notch.

Yelp
We stopped by the Park City Peaks hotel for their ski shop and on the way out passed by Versante. It smelled so delicious that we after reviewing the comments on Yelp decided to come back for dinner. We sat in the bar area with Mars, who was the only bartender serving not only bar but the entire table section here by herself. We had amazing service throughout our meal and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We got the Brussels sprouts--which was a much larger portion than most places, and they were super delicious. The chicken from the chicken parm was also wonderful and the creamy pesto sauce with the roasted cherry tomatoes was one of the best pestos we've had. It wasn't oily and the creaminess wasn't heavy. Both pastas were fresh and light too. Will 100% be coming back here on our next Utah trip!

Yelp
Good food. Great service. Ariel was wonderful. The cauliflower pizza crust was a winner.

Yelp
A very bright spot of the Peaks hotel. Great restaurant, great service, great food with great views. We visited Park city when it was very cold and snowing. We got to visit downtown a few times, but for the most part, we stayed close to the hotel and ate food at this establishment. All of the food was 10 out of 10, and they had a great selection of local beers that they were happy to help Guide you in the right direction. I fell in love with the Amber, and made that a frequent purchase. My favorite meal was the meatball sub. Doesn't seem like the normal go to, but I love a great sandwich with very tasty meatballs. The bread was toasted perfectly, and the meatballs were seasoned just the right amount. Came with some nice thin, cut steak fries, which were very good. The carbonara was the second favorite . I really don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Brussels3.5- greasy Shishito pepper-5* Artichoke dip- 4 Steak fritte thin and overcooked 2* Pizza which was spicy spicy making it inedible 0* Overall OK place, good in a pinch, good if it's the one spot open, amazing that this is in a hotel! Service was slow - but once we were taken care of (about 30 min wait at the table) service was good and attentive.

Yelp
Local love! Versante is in the Peaks Hotel but isn't just for visitors. Versante is generous with Parkites sponsoring a football fundraiser for example. The pizzas are large enough to share depending on the appetite of your crew. We enjoy getting a verity of choices and having some leftovers. Always check the menu for season pizzas. The service is relaxed. They won't rush you out. Sit and enjoy your meal or drinks. If you're in a rush, let them know. I really enjoy going out and not having a waiter waiting to turn my table over for the next people. That said, we're also not lingerers. This is a busy place. Lots of come and go. People of all ages are welcome. There are TV usually with sports but there might be other programs too like the news. There is an indoor patio style area and the restaurant also have a food truck with outdoor available in a lawn during the summer months.

Joe F.

Yelp
Cozy and friendly restaurant in Park City. The food was very good and their service was excellent. When I'm back in Park City it will be one of my stops.

Yelp
Ariel, our waitress was wonderful. Very kind and helpful! Food was delicious In fact we are here 7 nights in a row. Very convenient and the service, food and ambiance were all top notch.

Yelp
What a gem! Usually when we're in Park City we eat at a spendy place (when in Rome!). We decided on Versante this time because we didn't want to spend as much. Little did we know it would end up being some of the best food we've ever had in Park City! I got the honey prosciutto pizza and it was so good. It was so flavorful and the prosciutto was just the right amount of crispy (a little bit). My wife got the steak salad and the steak was so well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Next time I'm going to try ordering a larger cut of steak because if this was any indication, it will be great. Our bill was around $100 for 3 of us, with alcohol. At the nice restaurants on main street it usually costs almost that much PER PERSON if drinks are included, and the food here very much belongs in the same category as those places. The hotel it's located in (Peaks Hotel) looks a little old and not fancy from the outside which I think is why the prices are good here and crowds not bad, and that makes it a bit of a gem compared to having to get reservations 3 months early and pay triple the prices for similar quality food on Main Street.

Tanya S.

Yelp
Thanks for the reviews, we chose Versante for dinner tonight, our first time to Park City. It was delicious! We had the calamari, a small Versante salad with steak, my son had the Bison burger, and we split a Speziato pizza. Everything was amazing. Great service from Ace, our server. The atmosphere is a fun cross between rustic and posh with a great vibe.
google avatar

Natasha G.

Yelp
Caution yelpers! This place does not live up to its reviews. Im convinced the good reviews are from people who get hooked up from the bartender's. The food was basically glorified 3.5 star hotel food. It was edible. My pasta carbonara was the best dish on the table which was good but left something to be desired. I took an additional star off because my kids pasta was $8 and it was the smallest portion of children's pasta my little pasta connoisseur has ever had. So small, her bird tummy needed 2 orders to be full. The ambiance is casual, much more than I thought it would be. If you are staying at the hotel, it's worth it for convenience. Otherwise, if it wasn't for yelp reservations we would have passed.
google avatar

Kimberly P.

Yelp
this is the best restaurant in Park City! Claudio, the server and Ezekiel the Chef are incredible. The atmosphere is great. The food is delicious. This is the place to go! make a reservation!
google avatar

Jasmine M.

Yelp
The pizza was great however the bruschetta was incredibly underwhelming. The bread was too oily and seemed to be half baked even though the outer layer has a perfect char on it. The bruschetta mixture it's self was decent but more on the sour side. The pizza however was great and had a perfect crust! We will be returning to try more of the menu. The pizza was great and the atmosphere was very laid back.
google avatar

Dave I.

Yelp
Spaghetti sauce was sort of meh, meatballs were good. Halibut was on the dry side but certainly edible. Service was slow but they were quite busy. Nice ambiance, a bit on the loud side.
google avatar

Yelp
Brussel sprouts were excellent chicken parm excellent halibut could have used more sauce risotto was excellent add on shrimp made it really good waitress Hannah was very attentive thanks for being great will definitely go back

Yelp
We ordered takeout (a larger order) and had to wait a bit upon pickup. Generally not a big deal. Order was correct and food was good. We ordered a bunch of pizzas and burgers. Loved the jam on the burger and the "fries" which were more crisps but so good. The inside was a cute ambiance too.

Yelp
Staying at the Peaks hotel, looking for some grub and guess what? Saw some great reviews for Versante which is conveniently downstairs from my hotel room. Oh this place did not disappoint! This is what I got: Cauliflower soup Amazing and creamy. Slightly elegant, powdery texture with great flavor that makes this just decadent and a delight to slurp. Brussel sprouts: Name a vegetable that is delicious and addictive? These Brussels sprouts are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside with hints of honey and tangy sweetness. I will never be able to bake my sprouts like this! Steak and frites This is a solid dish with 3 different types of dips for the Parmesan potato frites and a well cooked steak to boot. I just wish that they precut the steak for me since it was hard to cut it in a crowded plate with all the other goodies. Also a pleasant surprise is the apricot flavored Hefeweizen beer. This was recommended by the server and I appreciated him for it. The food presentation was fantastic, fast service and with great service all around. If I visit Park City again, I'll visit this place even if I don't stay at the hotel here.

Yelp
Was in Park City for a ski weekend and to finally explore this "little" town for the first time. This place was not too far from our hotel and they offered "garage parking" (at least when we called) given it was snowing outside. The joint is located inside the park city peaks hotel and is serving up Italian eats and provides a solid bar as well. This place was definitely popular as you can see a ton of foot traffic even with the snow outside as well as foot traffic from hotel guests. The service was friendly and efficient and our waitress was attentive but not over bearing. The menu was broken down by "shareables, soups/salads, entrees, fresh pastas, pizzas and deserts. Definitely a good way to "Carb up" after a potential long day on the slope. For our visit we got the spinach artichoke dip, the margherita pizza, and the Versante Carbonara. We initially thought the pizza was "smaller" but this all was definitely more than enough food for 2- 3 adults depending on appetite. The spinach and artichoke dip was really good. Probably definitely more on my favorite side. The Carbonara was good but was a bit salty for me and I wasn't in love with the pancetta used and I felt the pasta was a tad overcooked but after a long day of exercise, was still good. The pizza was Ok as well.. I was hoping for a bit more flavor but it was conservative, good, and was perfect " to go" as well since we couldn't finish it all. The food overall was god and the price was very reasonable I felt compared to some of the other places we visited with lower quality and more expensive prices. Definitely a good spot that I'll keep on the list when im back in the upcoming months.

Yelp
My wife and I ate here last week after being frustrated with the prices and lack of quality "in town". We were able to get a reservation here, but that doesn't mean it wasn't busy. When we were sat the host noticed our server was going to be occupied with a large table; so he made sure to take drink orders and answer questions about menu items. He took our order a couple minutes later because he was paying attention to the other server who was still tending to the large party, which was very considerate. Our server checked in on us as well. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was excellent, and i am typically critical of restaurant food, given the prices lately. The steak in the steak salad was phenomenal. The pizza was also very good. Solid beer selection as well. I highly recommend this as a great alternative to overcrowded and overpriced alternatives closer to downtown.

Yelp
AMAZING food! EPIC service!!! Do not pass this up!! Bartenders were very knowledgeful and helpful!!

Yelp
I liked the atmosphere but the food left a lot to be desired. The Caesar salad we ordered had lettuce that was all browned on the edges. Dressing was good but didn't like eating old lettuce. I ordered the halibut, which was dry and over cooked. It also was pretty flavorless and I was grateful there was salt on the table. We finished up with the chocolate tort which may have been good served warm but we didn't bother finishing it. Waitress was great. Won't go back.

Yelp
This restaurant is one I've been wanting to try for a good amount of time now. It frequently pops up in my yelp feed so I finally decided to give it a try. I ended up ordering the spaghetti and meatball, the Greek salad and a margarita pizza. Thought everything was good- not incredible just good. My dad spent 10 years perfecting his spaghetti sauce. Growing up, he made us spaghetti every Sunday. Because of this I may be a bit biased when it comes to spaghetti. This spaghetti was just kinda average? Nothing too special about it. The dressing on the greek salad wigged me out a little and I ended up not eating it. Pizza felt a little dry, but we did eat it all. We came on a Sunday evening. There was a party of maybe 20 people, so I don't want to dog on their service too heavily... but it did take them about 20 min before anyone brought us drinks/took our order. We eventually had to flag someone down. In the end- I left feeling full but probably not somewhere I'll be dying to return to.

Yelp
The Family and I had dinner last night at Versante Hearth + Bar. Versante is attached to the Peaks Hotel and specializes in Italian fare. The vibe to me seemed to be that of a pub. Very casual and relaxed. We were seated in a room off to the side of the main dining room and bar. The only downside was the acoustics were terrible. There was a family with four kids sitting behind us who had a child that kept screaming. Parents, please, if your kid is screaming take them outside or don't bother going out to eat. Don't punish the rest of us. Also, chairs are for sitting, not standing. Be a parent, not a friend. To start things off, we ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts which were perfectly fried and tossed with bacon bits and a white balsamic honey glaze. If you dine at Versante and don't have the Brussels sprouts, you're missing out. Kiddo ordered the Meatball Sando. It was a little difficult to handle, but she liked it. The Mrs. and I shared the Peaks Summer Salad and the Veggie Sando. The salad was very refreshing. A beautiful gathering of mixed greens, red onions, avocado, sliced peaches, Burrata, cherry tomato farro all tossed in a peach vinaigrette. So refreshing. The Veggie Sando was really good. Pickled zucchini, avocado, roasted red tomato, spicy aioli brussels slaw, served ton a Ciabatta roll with roasted red pepper hummus. The hummus is really what made the sandwich incredible. Jonathan was our server and did a great job. He epitomized the vibe of Versante.

Yelp
We got a few dishes including pizza, steak and trout. The pizzas were not cooked all the way, the bottom was still pale and soggy. Ordered the steak rare, but what we got was half the steak medium well, half rare/blue. The trout was just sad, it was more of a polenta with 2 side pieces of fish chips, salty and dry.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've been here but the few times I've been the food was always amazing. I loved the watermelon caprese they offered in the summer. I believe they update their menu seasonally. Their Italian style pizzas are also great. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Park City Peaks hotel for a few days for a ski weekend and did an aprés ski here once. We ordered the delicious artichoke dip that comes with a nice portion of bread to dip and the crispy Brussels sprouts. Both hit the spot during the winter. They also have a nice wine, beer and cocktail selection.

Yelp
Had a wonderful dinner at Versante! Mars (our waitress) was amazing and so kind. The creamy pesto bucatini and spinach artichoke dip were SO insanely delicious!
