I appreciate what the owner is doing here - running this type of shop, in this era, and in an artistic co-op space as well. There's lots of vinyl - mostly rock and jazz, a little hip-hop and reggae/dub, little to no electronic music. I found the jazz stacks had lots of 'commons;' nothing too deep or rare.
However, my shopping experience was a little disappointing. I visited as an out-of-towner, spent about an hour after a long-days work, and was bummed when I walked out with no vinyl. It's not a digger's store, or for those looking to score a bargain. The owner knows his prices, and if it's decent or desirable, it's priced accordingly and on the high side. In the end I didn't find anything worth the effort and cost to ship back home.
That said - I found better luck with the cassettes - which were on steep discount and had plenty of selection.
