Great atmosphere, great selection, and very clean. Nice variety of new and used vinyls. They also have cassettes and 8- tracks. Clean bathrooms and there's even a Piper and Leaf to walk to for some excellent tea! We will definitely be back!

Great store, but lighting was dimmer in CD section. Definitely would prefer it if they displayed the CDs in a similar way to the records to help with the eye strain. Reading all the small text of the spines is not for the weak. But otherwise great vibes and good experience.

I loved this place , they had a 5 for 20$ Deal!! I made the mistake of picking a CD that I didn’t ended up liking once I listened to it in the car and the Owner had no trouble exchanging it for me. Highly recommend it for their huge selection of Vinyl and CD. I must have spent around 3 hours here, so good!

Very familiar with indie ,college,alternative staff and not hyper trendy. I live in birmingham and huntsville almost equally and the clientelle and staff blow away birminghams 1 hyperhipster record store. Priced bettet also with broader range of genres subgenres. In fabulous area surrounded by other top notch self expression studios and workshops (Lowe Mills)*look it up

Five stars from me, even if ive never been I can just tell the atmosphere will be great when I go! love Green Day and paramore and I hope to find those things when I come! 5 stars!

excellent selection of vinyl! got a new needle for my turntable and the coolest speakers. love this spot and am grateful for it's existence! count me in as a regular :)

This place has a decent selection you'll find something here every once in a while. This place is crazy on rsd, location does play a factor in that but if you want to get what you want you got to get it online the day after or get here at 11pm the day prior. The workers here amazing always ready to help you find something when you need it. Prices aren't always wild just depends on how rare the record you want is. Over all this place isn't bad but the selection could use a tad bit or work.

I appreciate what the owner is doing here - running this type of shop, in this era, and in an artistic co-op space as well. There's lots of vinyl - mostly rock and jazz, a little hip-hop and reggae/dub, little to no electronic music. I found the jazz stacks had lots of 'commons;' nothing too deep or rare. However, my shopping experience was a little disappointing. I visited as an out-of-towner, spent about an hour after a long-days work, and was bummed when I walked out with no vinyl. It's not a digger's store, or for those looking to score a bargain. The owner knows his prices, and if it's decent or desirable, it's priced accordingly and on the high side. In the end I didn't find anything worth the effort and cost to ship back home. That said - I found better luck with the cassettes - which were on steep discount and had plenty of selection.

Great store with a great vibe and just simply fun to hang out in. My wife and I enjoyed shopping here. It's a bit of a bear to find your first time, but that's fine. We got there and had a great experience. Found some gems here, and filled in some holes in our record collection. We didn't mingle too much with the staff, but they seemed just fine. They have worked hard here to create a cool, laid back atmosphere that coincides well with long digging sessions for records. We enjoyed just being here as well as the shopping experience.

This is the place to go to in Huntsville for your new and used vinyl needs! They always have a good selection of both music and new & used phono equipment. The owners Andy and Ashley are very friendly and approachable...they are very active in the local music scene and always eager to offer excellent music recommendations. With a recent move (a few doors down from their old location), it's safe to say they have really built something special here. The space alone is a must see. When you hear someone say "buy local" - this place immediately comes to mind....supporting a good local business that offers charm, character, and service you just can't get at a big box store. Definitely a must see Huntsville staple.

The best place in town to purchase new and used vinyl (sometimes cds and cassettes as well). If it's not in stock they'll order it for you. Occasionally they have touring bands playing live in the shop and other fun events. If you need a music fix, this is the place to go.

Great record selection, pretty aight cd selection, and knowledgable shop keeps. A good place in a building attached to the only art place in Huntsville with one of he downside being odd hours

Love this place. Very nice and helpful owners. New releases and plenty of used records. Also, a great place to see touring original bands.

The people at Vertical House have always been very kind, if not helpful, every time I have walked in there. Whether it's just awesome service or helping you out with questions or even calling you when they get a new shipment in of a certain record is really awesome.
