Great ferry trip ran by kind and helpful alike. WARNING!! Buy your return ticket ahead of time or you may get stranded. This happened to us but we got lucky and were out on a waitlist and were able to get out without causing to much trouble. The staff was considerate to our situation and helped us in kindness. Thx!!

Easy to buy tickets and fair price for a trip from mainland to the Westman islands. Plenty of seating. Cafe on board. Restrooms available. With the right weather, it's a lovely scenic cruise as well as a commute.

Quiet electric ferry. Clean. Always on time. Buy tickets online far ahead if you want to bring your car on a boat, advisable if you want to go to puffin watch spot

Book your ferry in advance. So efficient in loading/unloading. Use QR/barcodes to check-in, and drive right onto ferry deck. Beautiful views of Atlantic as you cruise to Westman Island.

Great ferry experience as a passenger. Sat outside to see wildlife and happened to see a humpback on the way to Westman island. Clean facilities. Didn’t take our rental car on it but lots of folks did.

You can board with your car, the timing is precise and they let you know in advance if the conditions are harsh

Would have loved a better overview of prices and ferry departures as it was a bit difficult to figure out. But the ferry itself was really nice. Good seats and nice and steady pace.

Recommend you make reservations in advance. We did not but they were very helpful, informative and professional to us. They said we were number 2 on the waitlist and there was a very high probability we would make it. As it got close to boarding time they called us to the desk and asked us to move our car into the standby line. All went well boarding the ferry. Once on board the seating was comfortable and there were lots of things to see and do. It was very windy and the most fun was watching people struggle to open the door to the aft deck. It's fun to go outside for a few minutes and feel the wind and light rain.
