Had a great time and Grace, our server was so nice and friendly! It was our first time here and she even told us about the app and took advantage of the first time discount. Loved the roasted artichoke!! You should definitely go during happy hour!

I stopped by Via 313 in Pearland for their soft opening, and I have to say—it definitely left a good first impression. I’d heard of their Detroit-style pizza before but had never tried it myself, so when I saw they were finally opening a location close to home, I figured it was the perfect chance to check it out. The vibe walking in was really welcoming. The staff greeted us right away, and even though it was a soft opening and you could tell everyone was still getting into their rhythm, the energy was good. The space itself is stylish but laid-back, kind of industrial with warm touches—exposed brick, big windows, and clean lines. You could easily show up in casual clothes and feel right at home, but it also has a polished feel that makes it a solid date night or group hangout spot. Now let’s talk about the pizza—because that’s why we’re all here, right? We ordered two pies to split: The Detroiter and The Omnivore. First of all, the crust? Incredible. Perfectly crisped on the edges, chewy in the middle, and that caramelized cheese on the border? Game changer. The Detroiter had two layers of pepperoni—one underneath the cheese, one on top—and both had a little kick. The sauce was ladled on after baking, which I wasn’t used to, but it really worked. The Omnivore was also a hit, with just the right balance of veggies and meats—nothing soggy or overcooked. You could tell they care about quality ingredients. They were running a limited menu for the soft opening, which is totally understandable. I would’ve liked to try some of their salads or appetizers, but they were holding those back for the full launch. Service was a little slow at times, but everyone was friendly and genuinely trying their best, which makes a big difference. Our server checked in often, explained the menu well, and even asked for honest feedback since it was their opening phase. One thing that really stood out was how transparent and open the staff were about it being a soft opening. They made it clear they were still working out some kinks and wanted input, which made the experience feel more personal—like you were part of helping them shape the future of the location. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of those minor first-week quirks—slightly slower service, a few menu items unavailable, and one of our pizzas came out a few minutes after the other. Nothing major, and honestly expected for a soft opening, but worth mentioning. That said, I’ll absolutely be back once they’re in full swing. It’s great to finally have a unique pizza spot like this in Pearland. If you’re tired of the usual chain places and want something with character, depth, and that crispy cheese edge that dreams are made of—Via 313 is worth the visit.

We recently checked out a new Detroit-style pizza spot that was on our list to try, and overall it was a great experience! There's plenty of parking, which made things easy right from the start. As soon as we walked in, the host greeted us quickly and warmly. Even with a party of seven, we were seated in no time—big plus! We ordered two different pizzas: one thin and one thick. Both arrived hot, fresh, and loaded with flavorful toppings. The sauce was a standout—super tasty and clearly made with care. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated that a member of the management team stopped by our table to check in on us. It's always a nice touch when they make the effort. The only downside was the service, which felt a bit off at times. But since it's a new place, we’re hopeful it’ll smooth out with a bit more time and experience. All in all, it was a delicious meal and we’re definitely planning to come back to try more of the menu. Looking forward to seeing this place grow!

The food and service were great! Dylan was our server he provided us with recommendations and good conversation. He even gave our table free cinnamon sticks for our first visit. 😊

Google
Dillon was outstanding!!!!! Great server!! Songs that played, for me were the best choice for the environment! Family friendly atmosphere!!!! It felt welcome through the time. Food is perfectly filling! My wife and I felt content.

Google
Staff and the server did an excellent job recommending what to try because it was our first time. We got 2 small pizzas and just water for drinks. Both Detroit style. It was very filling and a lot for 2 people. We got to take some to go. It is a bit pricey, but the flavor is excellent.

Google
Great specials for lunch and for happy hour. Food comes out hot and service was quick. I love their salad and their broccoli/cauliflower appetizer. I also tried the peach sangria which was pretty good.

Google
Dinner night with the kids and we have been wanting to try Via for awhile. The atmosphere and decor work for a sit-down pizza restaurant with a bar area. The deep dish pizza has always been my favorite so I went with the Ambassador Bridge small (4 slices with cheese, natural casing pepperoni, dollops of ricotta cheese, garlic, Detroit sauce, and oregano). After taking the first bite I knew we wouldn't be ordering takeout/delivery from any other pizza chain in the area in the future, it was sooo good! One of the tastiest aspects of the slice was the crust, which our server Ryan said was due to the pan lined with Crisco and cheese placed up to the edge that bakes in and tastes like high quality cheesy bread. The Detroit sauce was also good enough to take a shot of, it was full of flavor and zest. The remainder of the toppings complimented the pizza perfectly and I may have found my favorite collaboration. Two slices and I was full. Ryan visited our table just enough and made our visit feel appreciated for dining with them. Sign up with the app and get $10 on your next visit. Don't sleep on this pizza restaurant if you have a craving!

Yelp
Been eying this place for awhile now as the shiny red signage from Broadway just draws you in. I had also seen advertisments for this place when it first opened. I'll admit, I just figured it was another pizza place that says they're different but they are more than different- They're Detriot! Via 313's speciality is Detroit Style pizza, which is a deep dish pizza shaped like a rectangle. My first experience in life with such pizza was Little Caesar's as a kid. Growing up, pizza was a luxury- very rarely partaken, so experiencing various kinds of pizza pie did not occur until I was an adult. Fast forward to today. I could have gone to my usual pizza spot around the corner, but I decided to get out the norm and try something new. Via 313 popped in my head and before you know it, I had ordered a taste of Detriot, which takes 30 minutes. In fact, my small half and half was not actually ready when I arrived and I came right on time. However, it wasn't too long after that it came out. No need to rush deliciousness because that's what it was! The small could easily be split between 2 people. The slices are huge and the toppings are fresh and plentiful. Let's not skip over the Detriot Sauce that compliments the slice perfectly. If you're not into sauce, there are pizzas you can order that do not come with the sauce or under customizations, choose to have the sauce on the side. The customizations menu is vast and the charges for additions are present so no surprises, but if you're into alot of customizations, I don't think VIA 313 is the place for you. You'd be paying a whole lot of dough (no pun intended) for such. Eating the pizzas in their authentic form is your best bet cost wise. I loved the inside of the establishement which had plenty of seating, a bar, and felt really cozy and laid back. I was not only greeted upon entering but the door was opened for me as I entered. I was asked if I wanted cheese and pepper for my order (no charge btw- something the chain spots have either done away with or charge you for) but I didnt need it because VIA 313 pizza is packed with flavor. The Buffalo Chicken was actually my favorite because of the tangy sauce and slight spiciness in each bite. Not only does VIA offer a variety of deep pizzas, they have gluten free options. So glad I went out my way to try out this place for it is a prize and a great surprise to have in Pearland. Will be back to check out the dining experience one day soon!

Yelp
Moved out to Pearland a few months ago. Been on the hunt for some good pizza. Finally found a contender! Not a fan of Detroit style but they also have thin bat style. So many good flavors and they're willing to split a pizza into 2 flavors. They'll even double cut slices for their more manageable. They have a 3-6 happy hour as well. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Happy to assist however they can. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Food: For starters,we had the house salad with Italian dressing. I should have asked for a little more dressing, but it was tasty. Then we had half and half omnivore and herbivore pizza. It came out nice and hot. In my opinion, the detroit style pizza is perfect. The crust is not too thick or thin. The edges are toasty. And the cheese is nice and "stretchy" like the old days of pizza (dating myself). ;-). The ambiance: is lively, today they were playing some pretty good rock music. Also, you can sit at the bar, I have not tried any drinks yet. Or you can have a high top table or a booth. Nice options. This was my second visit, both times the service was good. Just the right amount of attention. Overall I recommend going to this location and dining inside. I think Pizza is at its best right out of the oven.

Yelp
Recommend the thick crust pizza. All great ingredients. Not so good on the 4 cheese think crust as it was way overcooked. Fantastic service. Good for a pizza place. Smell was awesome.

Yelp
I don't go often but when I do the service & food are pretty good. I just wish the bar had Malibu rum or just rum. The Detroit style pizza is full of flavor & they have yummy desserts. The cinnamon sticks is enough to feed 2 people. I wish they had an half order. During my last visit I got the Hawaiian pizza with pineapples diced instead of whole. The vibe is pretty cool & laid back. Overall, it's a nice pizza spot.

Yelp
Idk what was better, the food or the service. Immediately entering the restaurant, the host held the door open and gave us a warm greeting. Our charming server Gelila proceeded to give us outstanding service with solid, honest recommendations and constantly checked up on us. The food: Roasted Artichoke was delicious with crunchy crostinis and flavorful tomato, basil and cheese. Really good appetizer. Our pizza was half Ambassador Bridge, half Bobo Brazil. The combination of the crispy crust, quality cheese and ingredients pleased both me and my partner (who is arguably a tougher pizza critic than I am). Since these pizzas are a bit heavier, the small was the perfect size to share for a lunch for two. Exceptional experience at this pizzeria. Great staff and food, clean and spacious dining make via 313 an easy recommendation.

Yelp
The place has that large inside feel to it with high ceilings it makes it a bit echoey. When you walk in it doesn't smell like pizza or food so I always find that odd. They had a good happy hour drink and snack menu. Many cocktails were $6 and snacks were $5. We ordered the Detroit style pizza and elote pizza, both Detroit style. The food, drinks, and service was good. Overall it was ok. The happy hour was the best part.

Yelp
Pizza was good we got the detroit style pizzas they were nice chewy and hot when they first arrive at our table after a while the dough got kinda spongy. Overall good pizza 9/10 !! Will definitely come again. The skillet cookies were also pretty good but the ice cream that they have on top is more of that icey texture instead of the creamy one 6.5/10

Yelp
Straight out of Detroit is "VIA 313, bringing you the tastes and flavors of its rich history. It's centrally, located between old and new Pearland in a strip of eateries. Upon entry you are well greeted and promptly seated. I will just go ahead and compliment the wait staff and manage as I met both during this visit. I ordered a veggie pizza and added plant based pepperoni. To be concise and to the point, It was nothing short of delicious. Definitely worth a do-over. So for this reason they move to my no. 1 spot for vegan pizza. Plus that little crisp on the crust does it for me. So, until the next one Bye - Bye!

Yelp
We went to dinner during their grand opening. They had a wheel you can spin for prizes in front of the restaurant. The staff were friendly. Our waiter, Luis, was great and explained to us about the history of the restaurant and that one of the owners, Brandon, came from Austin (originally from Detroit) for the opening. This is their 24th restaurant. You can also read the history on the menu. The food is delicious. We ordered roasted artichoke, pizza (Omnivore and Bobo Brazil), and they gave complimentary cheese bread for the opening. We will definitely come back.

Yelp
We visited Via 313 on a Friday in early May and enjoyed our experience. The pizza was delicious! We were a table of two so were quickly seated without a wait at the high tables. Larger parties did have a wait. Our waiter was friendly and explained to us the style of pizzas as well as the process. He warned us about a long wait time. The wait for the pizza was long ~30 minutes. Our waiter also offered us a complimentary appetizer as other yelpers have mentioned being offered. We got the cheesy garlic bread as appetizer and a vegetarian detroit style pizza for entree. Detroit style pizza is a unique style, which I hadn't tried before. The deep dish pizza is baked first with sauce added afterwards. It was crispy and the right amount of cheesy. The garlic bread was also delicious.

Yelp
I recently ordered their smallest Tavern Pizza with extra mushrooms for takeout. Very simple, but very delicious n fresh too. The crust, cheese, sauce and mushrooms were all very good. It still had that Detroit style aroma in the taste, especially towards the edge of the crust. I certainly like their original pizza type, but I really like this tavern pizza here best if u ask me. Very welcoming, friendly service on this visit.

Yelp
Coming from 1/2 Detroit divided home...pizza was spot on. Very authentic Detroit style pizza according to the critics. Pizza achieved a perfect balance of crunch, flavor, toppings, and bake. Veggies were a bit lackluster...not alot of flavor and mushy. We got this order to go, was ready on time. Ambiance very chic, some nice Detroit area pics displayed...restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. Nice patio area. We will definitely be back to try some other tasty dishes!

Yelp
As one of the first customers in the door, it would only be fitting to write the first review. Via 313 has had my heart since trying them in one of their first brick and mortars in Austin, TX. They started off in a food truck and now have built a little mini empire in Texas and Colorado. I was beyond ecstatic when I saw their sign pop up in Pearland's newest shopping strip among other heavy hitter restaurants. I've been to their Austin and Houston locations, and one thing I found consistent in all those places is the great customer service. Madison took care of us from start to finish and did an outstanding job. They usually have metal music playing in the background, but it's not overpowering and having a conversation isn't a problem. The dining area is spacious and they do have some bar seating as well as patio seating outside. Like mentioned before, they have alot of popular restaurants in this strip, so at peak times, parking can get pretty full. Via means by way of and 313 is a Detroit area code. Put two and two together and you got Via 313, a place that specializes in Detroit style pizza. Detroit style is a style of it's own. Some may say it's deep dish, but it is completely different. They make their pizzas in steel, rectangle pans which gives the pizza this wonderful crispy edge. They only throw on the sauce after the pizza is made to avoid making the pizza soggy. Genius! I may be the minority on the sauce debate, but I don't like my pizza overly saucy. They also serve bar style pizza which is a thinner crust On to the food. We were a party of four and we got an array of items. We started off with the Meatballs w/ Marinara. It came with 3 meatballs and garlic Crostini. It's a small app but very good. We did a variety of pizzas in order to test out if this location was consistent with the other ones. We got the Ambassador Bridge, Classic Cheese, The Carnivore and The Cadillac. Yes, they lived up to the expectations. My personal favorite is the Ambassador Bridge. It comes with pepperoni, sausage, fresh garlic, and dollops of ricotta. It has the perfect balance of flavor. Don't sleep on that Cadillac though. It's different in the best ways. This is not saucy, but comes with prosciutto, gorgonzola, parmesan, fig preserves and balsamic. Sounds like a weird combo, but the flavors work in perfect harmony. We finished off our meal with the cinnamon sticks which was a great way to end the meal. Via 31 Pearland is now my favorite pizza spot in the land of Pears. I will be back!

Yelp
Ambience in this restaurant is very cool, the bar area was nice and drinks were A1!. Service is very good staff is attentive and everything came out in a timely manner.

Yelp
Husband has been eyeing this place since the sign went up so we finally got to try it out for his birthday. We met our family here for lunch and the staff was friendly and accommodating of our party of 8. They ordered some apps; broccoli and cauliflower and Brussel sprouts which were delicious. The balsamic glaze was tasty. Everyone ordered their own pizza which made the wait long but the staff and manager noticed, unprovoked, and comped one of our pizzas and even gave us an order of meatballs on the house. My husband and I loved their frozen drinks. We are looking forward to going back for happy hour. Everyone loved their pizza and they were even accommodating to my heartburn when it comes to red sauce and offered some options to substitute. The ambiance of the place is pretty standard. Plenty of seating I think, and had some tables outside. I would definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Another great addition to the Pearland food scene! Via is in a new strip of restaurants that we have needed. My mom and I sat at the bar and tried the cheese bread and artichoke dip. Service was excellent and food was delicious. We will absolutely be back!
google avatar

Stephanie Z.

Yelp
I was so excited to finally try Via 313 pizza but was a bit disappointed. We decided to try the Buffalo Chicken pizza and the Detroiter pizza, both in their Detroit style with a thicker crust. The Detroiter pizza was good, and the crust had a nice bit of chew to it. We didn't enjoy the Buffalo Chicken pizza; the chicken crumbs were odd and mushy. I think it would be better with chicken chunks or strips. It also took a while for our waitress to come take our orders and for the pizzas to be delivered once we had ordered. The whole process took over an hour from when we were seated. We kept being told oh another 15 minutes your pizzas were just put in the oven. The table next to us also had to take their pizzas to go because of the long wait and having to leave. One suggestion would be for staff to be aware of and talking about any promotions that are going on. I had seen a promotion on their social media for buy one get one small Detroit style pizza, and the waitress had to ask the manager several times for this to be confirmed. The atmosphere was loud and bustling when we came at lunch, which lent a fun energy but might make it hard if anyone is hard of hearing. Parking was easy for a weekday lunch, but they're located in a busy plaza that in my experience has been difficult to find parking in on weekends.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
I had a great time here! It's been hard finding gluten free foods that are tasty especially pizza and dessert. This is definitely a new go to spot for me.
google avatar

Jackie B.

Yelp
Outstanding service! Explaining the Detroit style pizza! Free appetizer (surprised!) brought on table while I waited. Pizza was amazing and everything it was hyped up to be. Parking was difficult. I had to circle the lot 3x to find somewhere.
google avatar

Tami J.

Yelp
Enjoyed the Roasted Artichoke Appetizer very much. I was trying to stay on my diet. Bartender gave samples of Pizza, which was also delicious. There's a Red Blend Wine that complemented dishes well. Will return
google avatar

Ondrea T.

Yelp
We were seated promptly and the service was great. There is a nice selection of wines and cocktails as well as coke products. The meatballs were stone cold but showed promise if ony they were warm. The brussel sprouts however were piping hot and delicious as was the pizza (the Detroiter and the Bar Pizza Supreme). All in all this place was a little pricey but good. I would not mind coming back.

Robert G.

Yelp
Service very good, BEST GF pizza ever had! Comfortable sitting.. Not loud inside and outside also available.

Foodie J.

Yelp
Disappointing.. I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now after seeing it on IG but it did not shine through. The Heights location has better reviews than the Pearland, I should have went there but Pearland was a bit closer. The pizza was very dry and didn't have enough toppings for the price. I ordered a Buffalo pizza and unfortunately one of the pieces had a piece of pepperoni, I don't eat pork!
google avatar

Rebecca A.

Yelp
I met up with my bestie at Hash and we couldn't hear each other talking even though we were right next to each other... so we left and walked down to this cute pizzeria and boy was that the best decision ever. We sat at the bar and Ryan served us. He made me a mocktail that wasn't even on the menu and it was great. We got free cheese sticks since it was our first visit, and $10 off for downloading the app. And the pizza was great. The music was soooo good (and barely loud enough to hear, thank goodness). No shade to Hash but at my big age I can't handle that much stimulation. I'll be back!
google avatar

Qul G.

Yelp
We each had their Two Slice Combo that comes with a side salad and a drink. You can only choose their Detroiter (pepperoni pizza) or cheese pizza for the combo but the pepperoni pizza was delicious so we weren't sad. For the sides you can only choose either their house salad which comes with an Italian dressing or a Caesar salad so we each did a different salad. They don't have wings :( but their cheesy bread was good and we left so full. I was a little concerned that there might not be enough sauce on the pizza upon its arrival to our table but once I bit it... oh man, as Guy Fieri would say, Flavor City!" lol. It was the right amount. Enough for flavor and to not be dry but also enough to not overpower the cheesiness and pepperoni. Yum! Service was excellent and the ambiance was peaceful, at least when we went and the music was various alt rock. Overall I'd do it again.
google avatar

Nicolas C.

Yelp
I couldn't wait to try Via, since I'm from the Midwest and love deep dish pizzas. Unfortunately, these pizzas missed the mark. Pros: crispy cheesy edges. Cons: chewy dense crust (my jaw was tired after two slices), thick layer of cheese on top (like a frozen baked lasagna), sour/salty marinara (tasted like a green olive). The experience of eating a slice that has crispy edges, with a chewy plastic cheese topping, and a dense thick base really killed the experience. While the outer edges were fun, with the classic Detroit cheese crisp, the second and third bites tanked with the unusually sour and salty marinara. The best way to describe it is like a pimento from inside a green olive. This was one of the worst pizzas I've had. Little Caesar's Italian cheese bread is better. And if I wanted Detroit pizza, I'm going with motor city or Digiornio's frozen pizzas from HEB.
google avatar

Genia W.

Yelp
The taste of the two pizzas we tried were decent . I just expected more flavor and more bang for my buck. I had the Jalapeño Poppa and The Ambassador Bridge. Each pizza is 4 square slices for size reference. I may come back to try it again when I'm in the area. However, I will say that the customer service was great !
google avatar

Bea R.

Yelp
Great service! Well trained servers Pizza is amazing. The crust is crispy on the edges. The sausage, sausage, sauce, cheese are spot on with goodness! Yum Meet one of the owners on the Grand opening. Wonderful addition to Pearland.
google avatar

Bryce W.

Yelp
Place isn't there anymore it's gone . Pizza was meh way overpriced . They barely had any staff working there . And the location was crap
google avatar

Jasen B.

Yelp
Our server, I think her name was Grace, was super attentive and nice despite also having to work the bar. The food was great! Came for the deep dish but stayed for the thin crust. The drinks were surprisingly inexpensive for how well made they were.
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
I had the worst pizza I have ever eaten. I did not know it was possible to make pizza so bad you could not eat it. Perhaps my expectations were too high for a pizzeria. I order what I thought was a regular pizza with meat. Instead, I got a thin slice of cardboard with meat. I could not figure out where was the cheese, sauce or crust. It was a huge disappointment, much like the Crawfish Cafe in the same stripped. I have wasted a lot of money eating in these two places because of them being new establishments and so much hype. Pizza was horrible, but service was great.

Frances M.

Yelp
Ryan is a great bartender! Very personable & went out of his way to ensure our drinks & appetizers were on point! Our go to place.

Warren J.

Yelp
This was our first time at Via 313 Pizzeria, but definitely not our last. We ordered a Detroit style and a thin crust along with their BrusselsSprouts. Everything was delicious with super fresh ingredients and very tasty. Our waiter Luis, was perfect in every way, being very accommodating, friendly, and just on top of things for us in every way. We have found our new pizza spot.
google avatar

Jim D.

Yelp
The salads were good but the pizza was average. It was overcooked and there wasn't enough sauce. The dough did not taste fresh. It tasted like DiGiorno dough. The atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, just an average experience.

Deanna D.

Yelp
We really wanted to like this place! Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We went for a late lunch so it was not busy. Nothing outstanding as far as decor, but nice and clean. Our Caesar salad was pretty dry so we asked for more salad dressing. They brought us more dressing, but also charged us for it. Our pizza was lukewarm at best, the cheese was congealed. I mentioned that politely to the waitress and her response was "oh, sorry about that".
google avatar

Denice G.

Yelp
Great addition to Pearland! Tasty pizza nice atmosphere. Definitely needed. Best pizza in Pearland.
google avatar

Linda C.

Yelp
So glad to via 313 in Pearland. I have been to the original location in Austin many times and this location did not disappoint. Had the ambassador bridge and Cadillac. Both delicious. The Brussel sprouts were ok... flavor was there but just didn't like it roasted as personal preference.

Rocha D.

Yelp
Well the pizza is good, the service is good but $12 margarita on small kids cup is not good ..

Josie T.

Yelp
Tuesday 6:20 pm, wanted to get dinner. There were 3 people at the bar, 1 bartender, and 1 person waiting for their takeout order. It was me, my husband and 2 kids. We were not greeted, so we sat down and waited; we were never acknowledged for 5 minutes so we left.
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
Great new spot for Detroit style pizza, tastes food and service was good. Cocktails are tiny and pricey but pizza was good
google avatar

Thomas G.

Yelp
Good Pizza but not twenty dollars good for the size of a personal pan pizza. Check for coupons before ordering.

Suzanne M.

Yelp
The customer service was excellent and the pizza is now one of my favorites. I have always enjoyed NY style pizza but this Detroit style is amazing! Good job Via 313

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Baseball team had just played and since we are not a Pearland team, this was our first time to this restaurant. It was a very nice experience. The food was good but the customer service is what made it most enjoyable. Everyone was beyond friendly. Will come again if back in Pearland!

Dawn J.

Yelp
The pizzas here are soooo good! I thoroughly enjoyed it! I also enjoyed the reverse happy hour.

Nicholas R.

Yelp
Visited viva pizzeria for lunch today waited an hour and a half for a small pizza on top of that the waiter was no where to be found if your visiting to eat prepare to wait awhile

Andrew S.

Yelp
Pizza was delicious loved the Bar pizza over the deep dish Ambiance was superb beer was cold game was on i don't think you can ask for more

Michael E.

Yelp
Pizza was good not great. Pizza was overpriced and heavy. Lots and lots of bread. Warning only select alcohol is on happy hour. Broccoli and cauliflower appetizer needs work. Very happy place.
