First time coming to this place and we were met with smiling faces and great service. They quickly worked to accommodate our large group without any hesitation. The pizza was great, I didn’t get photos of all of the yummy appetizers and pizzas but everyone was pleased and left full. The decor was warm and welcoming, without feeling like it was overdone. The frozen margaritas were a hit at our table, we’re all looking forward to coming back again.

Google
I’ve been on a hunt for a great tasting Detroit style pizza after seeing so many versions of it online on the web everywhere you name it and I think I finally found a place that will deliver it every time. This place has been in my backyard for years and I didn’t even know it was existing until I got sent a coupon for $10 off my first order and ordered the small carnivore and it did not disappoint. Just the right amount of topping is the crust was crunchy very hot came up pretty quick. I opted for takeout walked inside the business. It was clean. The restrooms were clean. The staff was having fun and it was jumping. Definitely check out the in-house menu order more things as I will in the meantime and go out and get it now this is the awesome best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Bring a few quarters they have a retro Pac-Man machine at checkout as you walk in!🥰

Google
First time here and I was pleasantly surprised. Better lunch special than pinthouse. Two lunch specials fed me and three kids and we were all stuffed. The Detroiter took me back to earning free pan pizzas in the early 90s. Excellent flavor and value.

Google
Service was great and the pizza is ok. We had both the Bar Style and Detroit. Our opinion was the bar style was much better, the Detroit we could do without, way too doughy and under cooked.

Google
Via 313 Pizza great spot for some Detroit Style Pizza...which I only heard off. Not all that common in the West Coast. I didn't know Detroit Style Pizza was, still not all that familiar with it, had to look it up. Good size venue with plenty of seating run by friendly, fast and efficient staff. Parking is not an issue either, with plenty of spaces available in the shopping plaza. I came for lunch on a random weekday, it wasn't crowded and I was seated right away. My server was helpful and pleasant, (sorry I can't remember his name...I think he was the bartender as well) checked up on me regularly. The pizza came out fast as well, not much of a wait. #PizzaPizza ~ DETROIT-STYLE PIZZA: - The Detroiter - 4/5 & - The Carnivore - 4/5 Luckily I was able to do a 1/2 pizza of one kind and 1/2 of another allowing me to try two pizzas! Both pizzas were solid. Not too heavy or rich. I didn't leave feeling overly stuffed or bloated. While I still prefer thin slice / NYC pizza I'm not opposed to Detroit Style Pizza. I don't detest it like deep dish / Chicago style...yuck! They also have a brilliant Lunch deal / special which is a total steal for $12; you get 2 slices, salad, and a soda! Unheard of in today's inflated world. I'd love to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Google
Our server was great, awesome with drink refills. Pizza was good, a typical Detroit style pizza, cooked perfect! Would have preferred a bit more sauce, but overall great! Garlic cheese bread was top notch!

Google
The bar pie was incredible. I’ve looked everywhere for a true crispy thin pizza and didn’t find any until discovering this place. It’s true thin crust. Not your average sauce and cheese on pizza, the sauce and cheese taste much better than most bland pizzas around with overfly fluffy thick crusts, very favorable, rich with sweetness. . This will be my go to for thin crust (New York bar style) pizza. I’ll be trying the Detroit style next!

Google
I’ve heard good things about this pizzeria and so finally came to check it out and they were right! The Detroit style pizza is thick crust and square. The crust is crunchy and the top is lovely, soft and pillowy. It was good to the last bite! Our server offered veggie options on half of the pizza which was fantastic. The service was great- friendly and quick. First timers also get a free cheese or cinnamon pizza…. Obviously, the portions are large and so I had leftover pizza for lunch and it was just as delicious! We will definitely be back! Also, we got there before 5 on a Friday night and it wasn’t as busy. There was a long wait when we left! It’s definitely worth the wait, though…

Yelp
I have never had Detroit style pizza until today. All I can say is WOW. I had a card for a free small pizza and I hate to say that I waited too long to come and get it. This pizza was absolutely delicious. I do not like alot of sauce on my pizza and this pizza had the perfect amount of sauce and the toppings were plentiful. It also had the perfect amount of cheese and a very nice crunch when eating it. I most definitely WILL be returning soon to get more of this deliciousness.

Yelp
Been years since I first eat at a Via313 when they opened in Austin. Wanted to try out the Round Rock location. Pizza-thin and crisp was excellent! Appetizer of spicy broccoli and cauliflower was surprisingly great as well. The house margarita is one of the better ones that I have had in a while at local restaurants. Kudos on this. Great conversation with people on both sides of me while at the bar counter. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. Host recommended if we didn't want a table to go to the bar. There was seating available which we did. I am giving this a lower rating only for this one reason other than that, it would be a four star rating. I decided to surprise my boyfriend and pick up the tab. Prior to leaving I asked for a receipt. When home I reviewed the receipt, to realize I had been overcharged by three drinks at the bar. Disappointed I didn't catch this while there and that they actually added additional drinks. Our glasses had not been picked up so you could obviously count how many we had. This was huge disappointment and will make me think twice before returning.

Yelp
Stopping in for lunch turned my whole day around. It was one of those days where the sun never comes out, work isn't going well, and by the time you leave the house, you realize you probably didn't even brush your hair. And so there I was, messy and in poor spirits, but not for long. First of all, the lunch deal is a steal: 2 slices, salad, and a soda for $12. Unheard of. More importantly though, my server went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, in a way like he wanted to, not like I was a burden. If you see Jojo, you're in good hands. Get this man a raise. 10/10, will lunch again, hopefully looking a bit less disheveled next time.

Yelp
What a nice find. I know 313 has been around for awhile but I finally ventured in. I sat at the bar and was greeted Immediately- bartender inquired if it was my first time in and since it was gave me a layout of their offerings. The people next to me had both the traditional Detroit style pizza and the bar style - essentially a thin crust version. The couple raves about both, so for this trip I went thin (see pic). One word - scrumptious. Nice selection of craft beer that paired well. Service was attentive and treated me to a small dessert pizza since it was my first time in... I ended up taking most of the dessert pizza home, as well as a good portion of the main dish Overall great spot- I will be back and next time I will try the deep dish Update... October 2024 Deep dish, pizza time... Oh my gosh... Super delicious. Bar staff outstanding. Restaurant is consistently bustling with activity that has a cool vibe. Great interaction between staff and patrons Great spot

Yelp
Ok first off, born and raised in Metro Detroit, so I have been privy to what these guys are dishing out since birth. The pizza is excellent, and the variety of topping combos is extensive. First time in I had them whip up a Motown entity known as Spicy Calabrese. Calabrese Salami, Red Onion, Crushed Red Pepper, and Sriracha Honey. Awesome! The Artichokes are the bomb too when it comes to appetizers. This last time we did The 500 and it was damn good. The $5 Sangrias didn't hurt either. Service has been spectacular at both the Round Rock location and the Cedar Park one as well. And any spot that I hear The Cult, White Stripes, and Audioslave on the playlist has me for life anyway, but all around the atmosphere here is pure pizzeria where I come from. All they need is a wood fire brick oven and they will be right up there with the greats in SEM.

Yelp
I'm one of those weirdos who's not a big fan of pizza in general. But I can still tell what a quality pizza tastes like. My top choices at Via 313 is The Stooges and The Cadillac. The combination of spinach and artichoke on The Stooges is delicious, and I'm a huge fan of the salty and sweet combo in The Cadillac. I've gotten both pizzas Detroit style, so the crust is perfectly crispy and addicting. And if you're a fan of a good cheese pull, this is the place. The service is always excellent, although the wait can be a while if you're here during the dinner rush. Nevertheless, the atmosphere of the place always guarantees a good time.

Yelp
Hi Via 313 team, My brother and I were recently in town and had planned to try your restaurant after seeing Brennan Taylor's YouTube review. We were excited--your pizza looks great, and we've heard good things. However, we were surprised by the way your hostess treated Brennan and his crew in the video. She greeted them with "what do you want?" and seemed cold and dismissive the entire time. I figured it might have been a one-off moment, but after reading more reviews, I saw multiple people mention similar experiences with the same rude attitude from the hostess at your Guadalupe St. location. In the end, we decided not to dine there. We were craving good food--but more importantly, we wanted a peaceful meal with good energy and respectful service. Yelp
Good bite. Detroit style pizza done well. I like how you can split the pizza with two flavors, allowing you to try more of the menu. Dimly light restaurant, friendly staff. I'm more of a thin crust fan but of all deep dish style pizzas this is probably my fave. The crispy cheese on the edge of the crust is yum.

Yelp
Via 313 is always delicious. This is now the closest location to me, so I'm happy to report that this location is also delicious. I did take off a star because service was not great, but it wasn't bad enough to make it a bad experience. We walked in and the AC had just gone out, which happens, no knock on them. But, we thought maybe they had closed because of it because chairs were stacked on tables and the only people we could see were working the to-go area or working on the AC. After a few minutes, the bartender walked by and said he'd be right back to help us then proceeded to hang out behind the bar chatting with someone for several minutes. Another employee walked by on his way out after his shift, got the bartender's attention and gestured to us, and the bartender shouted for him to seat us. So, not really a warm welcome. The bartender was also our server and was friendly enough. He forgot a beer and then the lime for the beer but things happen. I think we were there right around shift change and as more employees came in, we were better taken care of. We tried the new (maybe? the menu said it was new but it could be an old menu?) garlic sauce which was good but very parmesan-ey. I love garlic sauce on pizza so was very excited but it wasn't quite my cup of tea. Probably because it was garlic sauce.

Yelp
I love pizza, and this place is my go to spot. Can't go wrong with their Detroit style pizza and great brew selections.

Yelp
Took a to go order from Via 313. Tried the half Bobo brazil half carnivore - small size. It was more than for 2 people to share. Loved the Bobo Brazil, it had honey in it. Never tried something like that in a pizza and I loved it.

Yelp
Pizza was so good. Saucy and crispy edges everything you want in Detroit style pizza!

Yelp
Very nice time. Sat at the bar, great crowd and bartender. Food was very good, pizza was outstanding.

Yelp
We were introduced to VIA313 by our son and family. Reminds us of Joe Balona's in Lexington KY. Like a friendly, Italian family place. Good for kids. Creative pies-we had the Detroit 4X4's including the Bobo Brazil and Cadillac. Absolutely delicious! Cheese bread app was yummy too. The kids scarfed that down in a flash. Our server was super who checked with us frequently without being smothering. Only reason this wasn't a 5 star was there wasn't a darker ale or porter on the beer menu. Definitely a repeater for us!! This is a great new favorite for us.

Yelp
We are a repeat customer this trip but first time eating inside the restaurant. This pizza is meant to be eaten hot and if you are reheating leftovers then cook at a very low temperature to not dry out the crust! We ordered a large omnivore pizza which is 8 pieces, large house salad w/ ranch dressing on the side, and beverages amount 3 people. Depending on how hungry you are 2 slices is going to fill you up w/ one shareable appetizer. Outside of the pizza, let me share about our waitress Katie (apologies if spelling is incorrect) who took care of us! Katie went above and beyond in the 2 most important areas of waitressing to me...communication about the food and going above and beyond! I really wanted sweet tea but she shared they only have unsweetened tea so I requested a lemonade; clearly no big deal! She brings out my guests drinks and then comes to the table with a large sweet in a tumble 22 cup and said they had sweet tea so I grabbed you one AND brought me a lemonade...WHAT?!?! Above and beyond! When we ordered Katie shared that the kitchen was running about 30 minutes behind on orders as a heads up but she could bring the salad out to start on...setting expectations upfront! Thank you Katie for making this an amazing experience at Via 313...we will definitely be back!!!

Yelp
Ordered pizza from here for dinner and it was horrendous! The crust was completely black and the toppings were burnt to a crisp. I can't believe they let the pizza out the door like that. On top of it they didn't even get the toppings correct. Unfortunately we ordered for pick up and we're not able to find this out before it arrived, but I don't feel we should have to. There should be a review process to make sure quality and correct products are going out the door. Will never order from here again!

Yelp
Instead of sitting on I-35, 313 looked like a fun place I walked and waited to be seated. When a couple of people in 313 shirts walked by me, I thought it was self-seating. After sitting in a booth and watching the bartender chat with someone at the bar for 20 minutes, I felt it was time to leave. People wearing 313 shirts and holding a small tablets walked past me. Okay, Adrian from the kitchen asked me if I had been helped. He said my server would be with me shortly. Adrian took my drink order and brought a menu. Upon getting my drink, no server yet, I asked if he could get my order. He did and was super polite. Bobo Brazil was good, with excellent cheese and a spicy hot finish. Adrian brought it. This is a less-than-great experience. There are quite a few great places to eat around here with excellent service. It will be a while before we eat here again.

Yelp
I love the salad and pizza here. It took a while to get our food. I ordered the Caprese salad.I prefer the pizza.

Yelp
I just have to say Mike made our exsperinec here souch better. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our first time here. He came with a smile and answered all our questions. The food was amazing. I have never had a detroit style like this. The chesse melted away, and the crust was nice and crispy on the edges. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The casual atmosphere and the smiles. Definitely coming back soon!

Yelp
After 7 years living in Austin I finally made it around to trying everyone's favorite Detroit-style pizza spot, and it didn't disappoint! We dropped in on a Saturday right after they opened. Service was a bit slow (the staff seemed light and the food took a bit to come out, despite us ordering pretty much immediately), but our server was kind and took care of everything we needed. It's a chill pizza spot with a good variety on the menu of both Detroit-style/deep dish pizzas or regular round pizzas. FOOD RATINGS: - Caesar salad (3.5/5): Your staple, classic caesar salad. This left you wanting something more, as it lacked a bit, just not sure in what. Too many croutons. The parmesan cheese crisp was nice. - Artichoke dip (4/5): Pretty good. Love artichokes and love goat cheese, and the marinara was pretty solid. Great combo! - The Ambassador (5/5): Glad we decided to try this one for our first visit ever! Crispy cheesy edges and bottom, the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Tasty meats. The sausage was okay, I prefer the more crumbly style, but overall it was a solid pie.

Yelp
Always love the deep dish pizza at Via 313. Service at the Round Rock location was excellent but a little slow. The food definitely made up for it. Great atmosphere and you can't beat the cheesy goodness that is the deep dish pizza. Love that there is another Via 313 in the area.

Yelp
I've tried every location that pops up. Glad I was able to try This one. Great pizza and great customer service. I cannot wait to the location in houston finally opens up. Food: the pizza here is top notch! Like pump c said top notch hoes get the most not the lesser. Great pizza. Fresh ingredients that you will appreciate. The brought us out some dessert too as it was my clients first time. She absolutely loved it! They share a restroom with tumble 22. Life long die hard fan of via313. Even after they were acquired they still are upholding top notch pizza so props to them and the group for that. I'll continue to be a client for many years to come.

Skyler A.

Yelp
Never heard of Detroit pizza but Chicago and New York be careful there's a new 2nd best in town. I only say second best because New Haven has that edge on you. Still really great pizza and certainly worth a stop. Ambassador bridge is

Yelp
You had me at Jalepeno Popper pizza with hot honey!!! I used to live close to the south Via location but it's been years, so I was pretty excited to check out the north location and the JP pizza! First the pizza... we ordered it to go and the timing wasn't too bad. Flavors were great, I feel like a few more jalepenos would have been better, but this is prob preference and I LOVE JALEPENOS! Only thing I didn't love was the overkill on the cream cheese... it was too much and took away from the pizza crust and other cheese on the pie... not sure I would order it again because Via has some other really great options.. Service, not impressed unfortunately... we tried to sit at the bar while we waited but no one acknowledged us for a while... with no other customers at the bar, we were told "be right with you", but had already decided to check out the bar next door. We had super attentive service there... maybe bar customers aren't a thing at Via? Not sure? Overall pizza was ok this time and won't plan to sit at the bar anytime soon...

Yelp
I stopped in here for the first time while having my car worked on at a neighboring dealership. I was practically born and raised on Chicago style pizza, so I was looking forward to this. There seems to be ample seating even for the lunch crowd and there are 10 spots to sit at the bar. And speaking of the bar, they have at least 10 taps of good craft beer, and a very good selection of liquor including frozen margaritas. Unlike most bars and restaurants, there is only one small flatscreen TV in the place. They do have a nice semi-covered outdoor patio you can sit at. One thing I was pleased to see was the fact that they use very nice flatware wrapped in a cloth napkin. I got a small meat lovers pizza, and it was more than enough to satisfy a voracious appetite. Plenty of photos to satisfy your curiosity.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing. We are returning customers and will continue to be. Each time, the service is amazing! All of the staff is so nice & welcoming. The pizza simply does not miss. Always plenty of cheese (I'm a cheese fanatic). Don't even get me started on the ranch...so. good. The vibe is usually pretty chill, a bit louder closer to the bar section but nothing overwhelming! Love it!!
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
Cheese, the day! We went for the pre grand opening and for our own funsies. We had a great time. Toby was our waiter, and he is the BEST!! Next time we go, we're requesting to be seated in his area. Even if there's a wait! He was such an amazing personality and waiter. We got the 8 pieces for both pizzas and the appetizer. Since it was just us two, definitely not doing the appetizer again because it was wayyyy too much! It was super yummy, though. Cheese sticks - an amazing appetizer. Cadillac - I loved this! I loved how the fig goes with the prosciutto Ambassador - amazing! Kinda wish they dialed back on the garlic though. Vanilla icecream- yummy! We loved it!! Excited to try the other ones they have.

Joe S.

Yelp
Fantastic Detroit Style pizza! Awesome service, and a very relaxed casual atmosphere - Also got the cinnamon stick dessert to go - Definitely coming back!

Yelp
This is by far my favorite pizza spot, the pizza is always fresh, I like the deep dish style and the regular style, try it, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Oh boy! Finally a great Detroit Style Pizza place in Texas. I knew by the aromas when we walked in it was going to be good. The cheese was perfectly crunchy on the crust and the sauce was delicious. So good. We ordered the original pepperoni but next time will try the premo pepperoni. I ordered a tossed salad and subbed out the Orange Vinaigrette for the Italian. It's so good. I tried the ranch and its ok. But the Orange Vinaigrette was amazing and will be my favorite from here on out. Only thing I'd recommend is to Get Diet Faygo! Specifically RocknRye and Red Pop! See you there soon.

Yelp
The best GF pizza is finally available in Round Rock! Most GF crust is thin and flimsy but this is thick and crispy. Soooo goood! The regular version is pretty great too! I didn't grow up with Detroit pizza but I Love it. Location: this location shares a building with Tumble 22 chicken but have separate entrances. I call this out bc we walked into the Tumble restaurant. This location has a full bar and a large outdoor patio. Service was good too.
google avatar

Ed M.

Yelp
Tasty pizza. Deep dish Detroit style. Never been to Detroit, but that's what they said. The deep dish is great and buttery. Kids got a bar style (thinner crust) pizza and loved it. Really fun place with great pizza

Yelp
Best damn pizza I have had in a long long time. Service was prompt and you cant get much better than that.

Daniel N.

Yelp
Had a very bad experience, pizzas to a group of seven came 10 minutes apart, mine an hour after first. Then guy in kitchen figured its a good idea to laugh and point at us. We got manager who took care of our bill, so wasn't going to post review, until he though it was a good idea to come talk to us again as his employee said we where cursing at him, makes no sense to take this further after it's take care of regardless of what the employee said to his defense. So at end because of manager action to try fix this and a fantastic server it's a 2 instead of 1. Never coming back, there are better pizzas and way better service
google avatar

Dave R.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Very consistent since last review. They have a very nice patio for warmer weather.
google avatar

Leah G.

Yelp
I can only speak to the to go service and food being taken out, not the dine-in service. When we placed the order for two small pizzas and an order of cheese bread, we were told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. I parked and went in about 20 minutes after we placed the order. There was a long line for to-go orders, and when I got to the front, I was told it should be out shortly. No problem, I was fine with waiting. I ended up waiting for 30 minutes, which was double the length of time we were told online when we placed the order. I totally understand that things happen, but people coming in after me were getting food quickly and leaving, and it seemed odd that so many people were being served so quickly and my order was taking so long. Once it was finally ready, they didn't give me a bag or anything to carry it in, and forgot our additional side of ranch. The pizza itself was delicious, but I was pretty disappointed about having to wait so long and that items were missing from the order after all that time.

Yelp
My husband and I went here after work one evening and noticed it wasn't too crowded. The waiter was very kind and gave great recommendations. We ordered the cheese bread to start and the Ambassador Bridge pizza with a side of ranch. The food came out quickly and it was very tasty. The marinara dipping sauce that came with the cheese bread was excellent! It had a tangy taste that I enjoyed. The pizza itself was very tasty, however, I wished the cheese a little crispier on the sides and that there was more cheese on the pizza. There were spots where it was just bread and no sauce or anything. The extra ranch wasn't worth it. It tasted like the Kraft dressing from the store. It did start getting a little busier later on and the wait staff was stretched a little thin. Plan ahead if you want to visit.

Yelp
Pizza was delicious. Will definitely eat here again. Never tried Detroit style pizza before. Really great.

Yelp
Pizza was delicious. Cinnamon sticks were amazing!!! Idk if it's a secret or not, but if you let them know that it's your first time there; they'll give you a free dessert!!!! The service was amazing and the atmosphere was great.

Yelp
I had been to the Austin location and liked it so I decided to try the one in Round Rock, we went a week day so we could sit right away. They are short staff but we did not need to wait long, our server was super nice and friendly, the place was clean and the ambiance was great! We ordered a Cesar salad which came right away and waited the expected time you would wait for a good baked to order pizza and enjoyed a delicious Cadillac! Loved the flavors and the crusty cheesy border! Everything was delicious, as great as you would expect in the Austin location or better! I will be back for sure! Loved it!

Yelp
Great service with very good pizza was my experience here. Lots of cheese, good sauce, and a well stocked bar. Right near the interstate & very convenient to Round Rock and Cedar Park. Ample, easy parking.

Yelp
The food here is amazing. I got the ambassador bridge, breadsticks, a ginger ale, and then the cookie with icecream. I hadn't had good pizza in a long time in the Austin area and via 313 hit the spot. I am a Michigander and I love being able to come to via and listen to the music, have a homey drink, and have a small taste of home. I highly recommend stopping in for the pizza.

Yelp
Great pizza, and the food is always consistently good. I love that you can build your own pizza as well, so when choosing half and half, I can get two specialty pizzas in one. It's too hard to choose just one! I highly recommend trying out this establishment.
