VIA ROMA

Via Roma is a great experience from start to finish! We decided to give it a try for lunch and were very pleased with the results. The food is fresh, delicious, & well portioned. The staff was welcoming, friendly, & efficient. BYOB with no corking fee just adds to the perfect experience! If you're looking for well made Italian in a nice casual environment, this is the place!

First thing. " The Gnocchi Filo Fumo" everything about it absolutely right spot on perfect with just the right flavors. I will also add a picture of the risotto with mushroom. The risotto has a slightly different texture than most of its kind. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend that. That being said, I'd absolutely try again and try the other things because the first dish was amazing.

Exceptional spot for a higher level Italian restaurant in an underserved area. Prompt seating, quick service. Great food! Byo wine has a corking fee. Will be back to try more dishes.

I had an excellent dining experience at Via Roma, an Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding piping hot just the way I like it. Every dish bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, making the evening even more enjoyable. Even better it’s BYOB with no cork fees. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine.

I love how it is a BYOB restaurant. They have the best fried calamari! All the seafood was so fresh! The service was great as well!

The atmosphere was a little cold. Very monotone, but classy and tasteful. The staff was attentitive and very nice. The food was delicious!! The gnocchi had a great texture and the flavor was fantastic. The spinach ravioli were delicious!! Very delicate and went well with the sauce. I just wish that more than 6 ravioli were served. I felt like 6 ravioli just wasn't enough to fill you. The gnocchi portion was fantastic! Definitely visit this hidden gem in Des Plaines!

I am giving this review for 2 reasons. First, I somehow accidentally hit a 1 star rating. Didn't even know I did it! I was called by the restaurant asking about this and if I would call back to tell them how I felt everything went. Many apologies to the restaurant for a fat finger on a phone by an old guy (lol)! It was a great place with wonderful food and excellent service. My wife and I will surely be back. One of the nicest restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. I highly recommend it.
