Just picked up kids spaghetti with meatballs then ordered waterice on the side. Omg spaghetti and sauce was poppin. Tasted flavor through out entire dish, but the meatballs were alright. They were a last minute add. Water ice top knotch. I got pina colada and orange vanilla swirl 😊. Happy Ordering!

We have been loyal customers for a long time, but the quality of service and food has noticeably declined. Recent orders have consistently had issues—either taking far too long for something as simple as a pizza or arriving with the wrong toppings. Tonight was particularly disappointing. We ordered two pizzas through Slice, spending $70 (including delivery and a 15% tip) for a delivery just 1.2 miles away. Yet it still took over an hour to arrive on a Monday night. For that price, I expect much better. The veggie pizza was a disaster. Clumps of minced garlic were carelessly thrown on, as shown in the attached image. It was obviously jarred garlic, and every slice was coated with this mess. I’ve never seen pizza topped like that—it was revolting. The half plain, half onion pizza was burnt (see attached picture). It’s shocking that this was considered acceptable to send out. Most places would never let a pie like that leave the kitchen. Frankly, this is unacceptable, and I’m extremely unhappy with the decline in quality.

Coming to Via Veneto's is something everyone should have on their bucket list. The food is second to none. The service is amazing, and you genuinely feel taken care of. The atmosphere is great! I am not lying when I say that the water ice gives Rita's a run for their money. You can't go wrong with choosing this place for dine in or deliveries!

Great food and atmosphere. Customer service can be better.

I’ve been a long time customer but haven’t been in a long time. Tonight we ordered an upside down pizza, onion rings and fries. I’ve noticed this trend of restaurants upcharging and getting little in return. I know inflation is still hanging around as well.. This is an order of fries for $6.55? And onion rings for $6.80. I was kind of shocked at how little you get? lol like that can’t even feed 3 people. This upside down pizza isn’t really upside down.. it’s got a bit of sauce on top but definitely not an upside down. Like I said I know via is a popular place but I’m sure you can offer more fries than this tiny thing for almost $7? I’m sure I’ll order a pizza here and there but I can’t justify the costs anymore of what you get for the price? Food is good but not worth what you get for the sides.

The waitress was very unprofessional. Threw the food on the table, threw the take out boxes on the table. It took over 40 minutes to recieve our check, because she couldn't be found. Her appearance was also unprofessional, she should not be wearing leggings that go up the cracks of her backside to show everyone what she has. Maybe the owners need to have the wait staff wear black pants, not leggings! The food was amazing! Will definitely go back and make sure we gave a more professional waitress.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at La Veneto Pizza … this restaurant was fabulous … my bestie and I ordered Calzone & Stromboli … I have not had a Stromboli in a very long minute … Zuri was our server and her attention and conversational abilities are exceptional … I would go back here just to have her as a server … the food was very delicious and filling … we had lots of leftovers to bring home … there is really not much else to say … go experience Italian Food prepared the right was … I give this restaurant 5 stars … LIVE LOVE LAUGH & EAT … 🇮🇱😎🇮🇱

The half Sicilian pizza with double pepperoni we ordered was just ok 6/10. We were told it takes 25 minutes to bake but within 10 minutes it arrived. The pepperoni was hasty placed on top and was only warmed. The chicken marsala was a 7/10.

Yelp
Very large portion sizes at this Italian Eatery / Pizza shop. I went with the Eggplant Rollatini as I am attempting to eat healthier and decided since this entree of Eggplant is stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese it is mildly heathier than my go to Eggplant Parm. It came with your choice of pasta and option of soup or salad for an additional dollar. I did manage to take down that entire order minus the soup in one sitting however feel full AF as a result. I do not recommend you do this. My entire office building ordered from Via Veneto for lunch and all of the items looked legit. I would recommend if you're looking for a filling meal to quench your appetite. As always people SYOY!!!

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot. Family friendly. Great service every time I go with unmatched prices. The Sicilian pizza is absolutely delish. Combo of the thick dough pizza with a crusty crunch crust.

Yelp
Best Neapolitan pizza without a doubt. I tried the veal parm and my wife got the Neapolitan pizza. The veal was great but the spaghetti sauce left a little to be desired and the bread was a negative. Stick with the pizza

Yelp
I'm such a fan of this pizzeria, the pizza is good, however I normally go for their Italian water ice which is the best ever!!! The staff is always friendly and never slow. The inside is nice if you choose to eat there. They opened up another location on Markley st. It's such a nice family oriented style pizzeria.
google avatar

Yelp
It's not the best pizza but the place is clean and it's close by. I like that we can take our kids for a quick bite and sit down and be served relatively quickly. There aren't a lot of places you can take a bunch of kids to in the area so this is great for birthday parties, etc.

Yelp
Should you get the garlic oil, meat lover's, or veggie lover's? Answer: all three! You can buy pizza by the slice or entire pies. Definitely a go-to for pizza, especially since Charlie's isn't around anymore. Which I'm still sad about. Visit Via Veneto today!

Yelp
Our first visit was just to grab a slice between meals. It was amazing and put them on our radar for a fuller meal. A week or so passed and we decided to check them out on a Friday night. We were surprised by how busy they were, however, they were able to get us seated in about 20 minutes. We grabbed an app and a medium pickle pizza because it sounded so unique. The fried mushroom's were solid. I loved the portion size and the dipping sauce. We both love pickles and I will say the pickle pizza did not disappoint. I'm glad we had some leftover red dipping sauce from the murshrooms as that went great on the crust. Safe to say pickle lovers will enjoy the pickle pizza. Wonder if they could make a red sauce version. Not much else to rave about (yet), however, I will be back for more and will share as I do!

Yelp
Italian Ice Review: It is so smooth! This is what I look for when I am looking for Italian ice. It sits well in the stomach and perfect for a hot day. I enjoy a nice cup of cotton candy and blue raspberry. I did get to sample the watermelon flavor and it was delectable! Staff was great. They were working hard to get orders out and scoop Italian ice. I'm hoping next time is can sit for a meal and finish it with an Italian ice. I feel like I need the whole experience.

Yelp
Great square pizza. Not a fan of their standard pizza. Great but expensive water ice.
google avatar

Joe F.

Yelp
Italian pizza and pasta. Never had a bad meal here or takeout. Pizza is fresh. Also recommend the lasagne and cheesesteaks. Service is good. Setting is diner-ish
google avatar

Yelp
I had a pork sandwich with Broncolli Rabe. The pork was delicious. The broccoli Rabe very bland. The service was prompt. The ambience nothing special.

Yelp
Did y'all know they do catering?! Well, they do! Snagged a few trays for a pre-Thanksgiving gathering and Via outdid themselves. Our family LOVED everything we're snagged. Beyond blown away with the food quality, taste, and staff vibe. They crush every time. What we snagged: -Large tray of penne vodka -Large tray of Baked Ziti -Half tray chicken parm and half tray eggplant parm -Half tray sausage and peppers (they BEST) -Half tray of meatballs (SO tender) All was delish. We have so much leftovers and can't wait to indulge throughout the week.

Yelp
Great Pizza - especially Sicilian pie! They also have a great marketing specialist (Nicole) that keeps the place relevant! All around great experience!
google avatar

Susan P.

Yelp
Water ice? Only in Pennsylvania. Everywhere else we call Italian ice. No matter what you call it, it's good.
google avatar

Heather H.

Yelp
I ordered linguini with meat sauce and another entree of baked ziti. Asked for a side of garlic bread... brought the order home opened all meals and then the side of a whole white baguette roll (no garlic, no butter and no toasting) this place is charging an arm and a leg and not fullfilling orders. Hands down! Thumbs down! Everyone looks forward to garlic bread, not just bread. Via V YOU SUCK!!!

Melissa B.

Yelp
We have been going to Via Veneto's for years and have never had a complaint. The last couple of years the food has gone down hill. We ordered pick up tonight - just a pizza with half pepperoni and onion rings. When my daughter came home with the pizza, the crust was almost completely burnt. This will be the last time we order from Via Veneto.
google avatar

Bri B.

Yelp
The service at this establishment is HORRENDOUS! I ordered 2 plain slices of pizza and watched them give my slices away. Another customer proceeds to order 2 plain slices and was made aware of how long the wait would be. As I sat there for 10 mins with no explanation of why it was taking a long time to be served, I asked the counter person how long it would be for 2 slices and in a very dismissive tone she said we're waiting for the pie to be done. Waiting??? Am I not supposed to be given an option as to whether I want to wait another 15 minutes for 2 slices??? I would never come back here again and I hope no one does cause your time will NOT be considered and you will need to "JUST WAIT"!

Yelp
I have a go to place that I prefer, but since I relocated, I have been coming here, not consistently, I would say about once a month. I have been very pleased up until the time I ordered a large, half pepperoni pizza, and then a second large, half vegetable pizza, and then an order of barbecue wings and then hot wings. It was for a small gathering. I was excited to pick up the food. The total bill was close to $80 or a little bit above $80. When I open the box, I was upset to see that the pizza looked stale, it looked dry, not juicy. It did not look appetizing. I went ahead and served it and took a bite, and it was disgusting. The wings tasted like there were drenched in some kind of chemical. I thought maybe it was just me, until my friends had the same exact opinions. I was livid that I spent so much money on what I thought would be amazing pizza and wings. When ordering from this place, it's like a gamble. Sometimes the pizza will come out perfectly, and then sometimes it comes out really horribly. It's like maybe they're not training everybody to prepare the pizza, and wings the same way. So, order at your own risk.

Yelp
Sicilian pizza at its best. I have never had a bad one but I will say that this is the only item we usually enjoy. Ask for it well done for a crispier crust.
google avatar

Yelp
If you want good pizza - go to your neighborhood pizza place - if you want great pizza you go to Via - soon to have two locations - you can take out a delicious pie (so many topping choices ) or you can dine in with pizza and adult beverages (they have soft drinks too) This pizza will fill you and you will have lunch the next day - great place

Brucie C.

Yelp
Love the place, food is good. BUT 2 different occasions I came in to get water ice and the tall skinny kid serving was blowing his nose and didn't wash and picked the spoon up to scoop. The other day I came in to get water ice and the same kid was picking the pimples on his chin. Had to disappoint my wife and kid twice and just get popsicles from Wawa. Very disgusting.

Kenneth H.

Yelp
My wife and I both really enjoy the pizza at Via Venetos' (in the Dekalbe Plaza Shopping Mall). We normally go and order the pizza and then sit in the self-serve side of it, but with the little bit that we do deal with the workers - they are all friendly!! As far as ambiance, it definitely isn't a "fine dining" type of place, and I am sure that isn't what they are after - but it is clean, the service is quick - and the pizza is delicious!!!

Yelp
Search no more. This is THE quintessential Norristown pizza spot. Their pizzas are New York style, thin-crusted, with well-balanced cheese and sauce. Topping are fresh and delicious. A little slice of heaven right there. But it doesn't stop there. The Sicilian pizza is the best around. It's convenient that they serve splices as well as the whole pies. Their meatballs are excellent. Their Pasta dishes are authentic and delicious. I don't always get entrees. I found them not completely consistent. I was told the vegetables, especially spinach was overcooked. Don't forget their famous Italian water ice. In the summer they have special cocktails with their own Italian water ice in it. Sweet but delicious! They have a full bar with special cocktails; they have craft beer on tap as well as takeout. They're also famous at catering in the area. Everyone loves a catered party from Via Veneto. They have Weekly specials. I do wish that they would post them online consistently. I've been there countless times, so there were few times it was not as perfect as others. It was all related to ordering errors. It would not stop me from keeping going back.

Yelp
Very welcoming restaurant. Great food with even better prices. If I'm being honest, they certainly can raise prices 10-20% and we'd still gladly pay. We had Cesar salad, French bread, a slice each, and Italian ice to finish off. All delicious! My boyfriend would always go to the original location on Route 202 growing up and it was his first time to this location-- just as delicious as he remembered it. We certainly will be back.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in, you can tell it's a family-owned place - always welcoming, often banter behind the counter which is just fun. Dropped by to grab one of the alcoholic slushees but they were all out - I've had the mango one before and it was delicious. We got regular ice instead; I always order rainbow - this is the type of ice you get at NY pizzerias which is why my family loves it. The small rainbow (pictured) is big enough to satisfy you and they overfill it. Also got a slice of white pizza which was really good - not too cheesy and very flavorful. My family has ordered other pizzas from here as well. We've always enjoyed the pizza and the experience we get from Via Veneto.

Yelp
Excellent pizza! Cheesesteak is great. Service is wonderful! This is a regular spot for local folks
google avatar

Fabrizio P.

Yelp
Decent pizzaria with a good selection of food. The servers are great and very attentive.
google avatar

Gail W.

Yelp
The food at this restaurant is always good. I love the chicken Parm with Penne, but I always order extra sauce. Something to know is that they also have something called an orange cream, which is orange sherbet with vanilla ice cream. It is awesome. Reasonably priced and excellent food. What more can I ask for?

Todd G.

Yelp
Roaches, pizza is nasty. Poor service....need better quality food and nicer employees

joe c.

Yelp
Excellent Sicilian pizza. Been buying them there for years and they are always delicious!

Yelp
Just had their dill pickle pizza and it was delicious!!! Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
I was at Via Veneto Saturdays night 10/1. The food is mediocre. I witnessed one of the owners at the counter yell and humiliate an elderly woman in front of a room full of customers. I will not be back.

Frank C.

Yelp
Their chicken cheesesteaks are one of the best around. The three sizes (small $8.50, medium $10.25 & large - feeds two- $19.50 can be customized with cheese of your choice (american, provolone, etc.) with fried onions- my favorite. I phone ahead for quick service pick-up or sometimes eat in for relaxing meal.
google avatar

Johnny A.

Yelp
I definitely need to come here and eat in person. I ordered food to go. They do not deliver. But it was only a 6 minute drive. Not a big deal. But the customer service? Outstanding. The employees were very nice, super sweet. I loved them. Their outstanding attitudes is what made me want to come back next time to dine in. The inside looks very welcoming. I ordered a large pie, half cheese, half pepperoni. Boy did we devour that pie. It was gone with in a few minutes. It was yummy, cheesy and greasy all in my tummy. It was so delicious. I'm definitely trying new things next time. It's a family restaurant, they're worth every penny.

Yelp
The wind blew us in here tonight randomly as we were passing through the area and wanted a sunday pizza! We got a regular slice for the kid, a medium chew steak pizza with mushrooms and fries with cheese on the side. The fries were typical, but glad they did not salt them. The pizza was very very good. The sauce was sweet and really gave the pizza a lot of flavor! The crust was a little soft from the heavy toppings but really held up and was so crispy at the end!! That's how I know the crust is exceptional!!! It was a good size for medium too, 6 big slices. We ended it with the famous water ice and it did not disappoint! Taste homemade and very well made!! If we find ourselves in the area again, we found a great place for dinner! OMG forgot to add I saw advertisement for slushees with alcohol in them! I WILL TRY THOSE NEXT TIME! I was behaving this Sunday :)
google avatar

Gwen S.

Yelp
Went for a quick bite to eat. Had garlic bread which is half of long hoagie roll with butter and fresh garlic which my daughter liked. Enjoyed two pasta dishes, nothing amazing but a good meal for the two of us.
google avatar

Christopher M.

Yelp
Great pizza plus water ice. They also have other foods that are as good as their pizza.

Budd R.

Yelp
The best of the best. Sicilian pizza, eggplant parm sandwich and veggie panini are my personal favorites.

Liz Q.

Yelp
Ordered this chicken parm pizza today for $21 - it was so burnt it was inedible and when i called I was told I have to bring the pizza back for a refund (15 minutes each way). Poor customer service.

Joseph A.

Yelp
Been going to Via's for quite awhile and was happy with their product but recently purchased 2 cheese steaks. Sandwiches were sparse with steak, onions were raw and stringy sandwich was mostly bread.

Houn L.

Yelp
Ridiculous . Ordered light cheese and again today was given extra cheese. C'mon now ! It's late and I'm too tired to point out the mistake again and ask for a new pizza !
google avatar

Neelam P.

Yelp
Probably the best pizza that we've found in the area so far, although the pies are extremely oily. Very generous with the cheese and the sauce is not too tart and not too sweet, nicely balanced. I wish the crust was a little better but it has not stopped me from returning. We've tried the plain and onion/pepper pies and they've both been good.
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Well folks, I read about this place and how it was voted number one pizza in Montgomery County in 2019. So I gave it a shot for the first time tonight. My opinion.. I wouldn't be surprised if they are also voted number one in 2020. This place doesn't disappoint. Very flavorful pizza. And as a bonus, I tried their buffalo chicken cheesesteak stromboli. Wow!! There are a lot of pizza places that make mediocre Pizza. It's a nice change to get one that's this good. I'm happy that I live only a couple miles down the road. I'll be coming here from now on. Finally, they also have a good handle on how to get the product out the door. On a very busy Saturday night with a mobbed dinning room and a packed entry way, I got my takeout order pretty quickly.

Sharon S.

Yelp
they screw up the order and somehow it's my fault needless to say they need a lesson in customer service ... moving on to another pizzeria it's not as if there aren't a million of them
google avatar

Joe F.

Yelp
Vv's pizza rides the middle of the road very well. The crust is on the thin side with a nice crisp. Cheese is stringy. Nice size, with all the typical ingredients. Very tasty. Other Italian dishes and specials. The mini-bar is a standout. It carries 4 tapped beers, wine and specialty drinks. Usually at least 1 craft beer. One of my favorite places for family run philly style Italian.

Jenna M.

Yelp
Amazing food and an amazing staff!! Their water ice is the best around! We love to buy it by the pint as great "thank you" gifts and to bring to parties!

Yelp
So I've been living in Norristown for about a decade now and have been going to Via's before they moved their location from Markley Street to that plaza on Dekalb. I could have sworn I reviewed them before... maybe it was for their Markley Street yelp page. Anyways, I'm not going to lie. The workers might not be the friendliest, as some of the 1-star reviewers may have indicated. But my experience for Via's is as a take-out consumer. We either make orders on the phone or in person, but I've never actually eaten at their new (or old) locations. Either way, we have never waited more than 15 minutes for our food to be ready. Their pizza is pretty delicious, and I'm especially a fan of their sicilian... my husband usually gets their cheesesteaks and cheese fries. It's everything I would expect from a local mom & pop pizza place. They've been around for 40-some years now, and I don't expect them to disappear anytime soon, so as long as I'm in the Norristown area, it will probably be my go-to pizza place!

Patti G.

Yelp
Always fresh and delicious food to enjoy. Service was friendly and delightful. Highly recommend you try this clean establishment!!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Please don't order a cheesesteak Stromboli it was absolutely horrible. There was a ton of liquid in it, a ton of cheese and hardly any meat both ends were empty and the other pieces weren't even cut through. It was a pizza pan of mush!! The server took it off the check that didn't help that we didn't have lunch. Please change your recipe amounts.
