World's Scariest Bridges

"Looking down on clouds is to be expected from an airplane, but it's a bit more unsettling in a car. Yet that's often the sight when driving across this bridge, which is taller than the Eiffel Tower at its highest point. In fact, when it opened in 2004, it claimed the title of the world's tallest vehicular bridge — and it still is." - Travel + Leisure Editors

The time of could affect your experience. We drove through heavy mist and rain as we approached, but fortunately it cleared a km before the bridge. An amazing sight to behold.

Fabulous bit of engineering but not marketed as a tourist attraction. There is supposed to be a viewing spot but we followed the sign(s) but never found it. We pulled over underneath and got some photos. Then driving over it is a 20-40km loop from there.

Close to centre. The underground csr park is directly opposite hotel and cheaper and easier to get into than the hotel car car park which is small and difficult to park in. Hotel staff were great and spoke enough English. Nice quiet location very close to town centre, had a lovely old courtyard garden

Awesome.. visited the Millau Viaduct this September it was a dull day but that didn't make it any less magnificent. The viewing centre was a little difficult to find, it's right underneath the bridge. It's difficult to imagine how they managed to get the two sides to meet when you see how high up it is. Well worth a visit if you are in that area.
