Beautiful views and facilities. Plenty of places to sit and relax. Plenty of parking. Couldn’t tell you a thing about the wine though. We legit stood there at the tasting bar for a solid 10min and no one acknowledged us. Not one person. There were three behind the bar talking with other people and amongst themselves too. Not a, “Well be right with you.” “Not a, “Sorry we’re too busy for another tasting at the moment.” Nothing. 🤷‍♂️

Google
In one word - superb. great place for wine tasting, wedding and events, marriage proposal... we took the 4 wine tasting deal - was awesome but be aware that the last red wine you will taste will leave you with a lot of "presence". we tried the cheese plate, the capresa sandwich and all is great. will clearly come again

I recently visited Viansa Winery, and I have to say, the place is absolutely beautiful with incredible views that make for a perfect day out. The ambiance alone is worth the trip. However, I found the wine to be just okay—not bad, but nothing that really stood out. I’d recommend going for the scenery more than the wine.

Pet Friendly 🐾🐶 all around outside The best part of this winery are the prívate Outlooks, they have 3 and have the best sight of the Valley ⛰️ (Max. 6 persons) The wine is really great and you can go all around the place to get to know the facilites. They have a really nice open area with Adirondack chairs where you can enjoy the calmness of the place with a glass of wine 😎 We had a great time!!!

Google
Nice winery with great views. One wedding was going on and one was having a rehearsal. I could imagine it is a magnificent place for it. The wine selection was great and the Italian themed venue was beautiful.

Google
Viansa is awesome! The views are spectacular and the wines are delicious. We had the pleasure of being served by Rachel, who gave us such vivid descriptions/history of each wine we tried, all while making the subject approachable and fun! Such a treat to stop in here, definitely recommend!

Google
This place has got very good views but the wines were disappointing. They all tasted quite bland. The wine(s) also gave us bad headache and some allergic reactions. I wouldn’t recommend it if you care about quality of wines.

Rachel Henry

Google
The scenery here is superb and was the highlight of our visit. We weren’t particularly impressed with the service or wines, but it a was a good value for the price and overall pleasant experience.

Yelp
I came here with my family to celebrate my birthday and I had a delightful time! Highly recommend Viansa for wine tasting with your family or friends. They have a variety of options that range in price, depending on the seating area. We opted for the Vista Lounge Experience with stunning views overlooking the vineyards. This is $50 per person for non-members, and it offers 4 different types of wines along with a snack. We upgraded our experience and added a charcuterie board for additional charge. Our wine tasting was scheduled for 12:30pm and a couple of my family members needed an small meal before they started to drink, the great thing is that Viansa has a marketplace with delicious sandwiches available for purchase. Once they had their sandwiches, everyone was ready to start wine tasting! David was incredible, kind, and he elaborated on each wine he served to us. We tried two white wines and two red wines-- all great quality and taste. The spacing was perfect and it allowed us to savor each wine. We will return to Viansa Winery for our next wine tasting!

Yelp
I really don't like leaving 3-star reviews, but I feel this one is necessary. My wife and I have been members at Viansa for almost four years, and we've enjoyed stopping by after work many times. The staff is always friendly, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. Viansa is perfect for last minute wine tasting on your way home, a place to take your friends when they surprise you on the weekend. However, the winery seems to be consistently understaffed, and management often overpromises but underdelivers. For example, for our 3-year anniversary, I wanted to reserve an overlook booth. I called several times, left voicemails, and even sent emails, but no one ever got back to me. We had to celebrate at another winery instead. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident--it's just one of many times we've struggled to get a response when making reservations. Now that we're canceling our membership, I've been trying to contact them for nearly a week with no luck. It looks like I'll have to go in person just to handle the cancellation--which, at least, will give us one last chance to enjoy the view. Viansa has so much potential, but these recurring communication issues are disappointing. I hope that overtime Viansa invest in a better phone / email answering system, and responds to their wine members. We invest money in your business, the least you can do is answer our emails.

Heidi F.

Yelp
We arrived right before closing time, but the friendly staff offered to serve us a a glass of wine (too late for tastings) which we enjoyed outdoors. The venue is large and spacious.

Farrokh M.

Yelp
We have been members for four year but we cancelled our membership today. The wine is great and view of the winery is spectacular. But the service is getting worse every time we visit there. We live in southern California and we order wine all the time from Viansa. But since six months ago we have been having problems ordering and receiving wine from them. The web site has gotten worse with the "new up date". My last order in December was never fulfilled. This quarter's order was charged but never sent. So finally we cancelled everything. I understand they filed for bankruptcy and sold the winery to new owners. It is a shame that they couldn't run the business because they had great wines.

Diana G.

Yelp
The wine tasting and views were great and our tasting server was so helpful but we came here in a large group and this older gentleman was quite rude to us about moving a small table next to the other one when the place was clearly empty and no one asked how big our party was.

Janet S.

Yelp
My niece was married here last weekend and it was amazing. The ceremony took place on the lawn with views of the hills. The cocktail hour took place on their spacious patio area w/heaters throughout as the evening got cooler. The dinner/reception was in the indoor hall which fits 150 comfortably with a dance floor in the center. After the reception, the groom and bride excitedly had a rave in the cellar room, complete with a DJ, flashing lights, glow sticks, pizza and beer. What a celebration!

Yelp
I recently hit up a wedding at Viansa Winery in Sonoma, and let me tell ya, it was wicked awesome. The scenery was off the charts, with views of the vineyards and hills that were straight-up beautiful. Perfect spot for a wedding, no doubt. The staff? Total pros. They made sure everything was smooth as butter, and we felt right at home. The ceremony was outdoors, and with all that natural beauty around, it was just perfect. The reception area was decked out nice, adding to the whole vibe. Now, the wine. It was unreal. You could tell they know their stuff at Viansa. Each glass was better than the last, making the celebration even better. And the food? Forget about it. Everything tasted amazing and went perfectly with the wine. All in all, Viansa Winery nailed it. The combo of killer views, top-notch wines, and stellar service made it an unforgettable time. If you're looking to throw an event or just wanna enjoy a day in wine country, Viansa is the place to be. Can't recommend it enough.

Rous D.

Yelp
I would give zero stars to this place. Service is very bad. We wanted to purchase a bottle of a wine, but they wouldn't give a sample to taste. We wanted to purchase sample for $30 only for the purpose of tasting the wine we wanted to purchase, but the waitress refused to give 2 glasses. The lady was very and disrespect to us as customers.

Yelp
View- 5/5 Concierge- 2/5 Wine- 2/5 Food- 4/5 Had added this winery to our list of places to visit this past weekend. Patrons are encouraged to walk in if parties less than 6. Phone message directs to the website to make reservations for parties of 6 or more. We did a walk in. Everything was reserved. We were encouraged to just grab a glass or bottle and fend for ourselves on the huge property to find a spot. It was rather frustrating. Concierge told me I should have made reservations. I told him about how their website and phone message directs patrons to do walk ins. The bathroom facilities were not kept. The trash cans were full, Tp on the floor. It just wasn't giving the nice vibes. The staff serving wine couldn't speak to it at the counter. For reserved tastings, I heard great stories of their wines while walking by. Overall, beautiful venue. But I'd get a hold of someone and make sure there's a venue.

Lori H.

Yelp
It's 5 star views, but 3 star service. This was our wedding venue, so we visited many times and were wine club members for over a year. The positives: it's a gorgeous venue, and they're one of the few venues that allow BYOB liquor so you can serve cocktails and it's close to SF city. Overall, the venue was fairly responsive to questions during the planning process (replying within a few days). With a wine membership, they also have sister vineyards like BR Cohn which also offer a free tasting so it's a nice way to try a few other places (think they allow 2x per year). The negatives: it's crowded and impersonal given its popularity. Wine pick up events have run out of food. There is lots of Instagramming and tour buses. They are booked solid for weddings so nobody responded to our initial emails to tour the venue. On the day before our wedding during our rehearsal we booked a table for lunch, but had no server and my wedding planner and I had to run back and forth to the wine bar downstairs to get drinks. The wine is good but not our favorite style. Given it's on a hill, it can also be a windy venue at night which we didn't notice during our prior daytime visits but something our caterer and photographer said is common there. When we eventually cancelled our membership, they asked for feedback which I provided and then nobody replied. While we didn't continue our membership, I don't regret selecting this venue for our wedding, which our family and friends loved.

Yelp
I came to the Sonoma area for work and decided to visit the winery. The property is pretty with great views. They are very family (kid) friendly. During my visit I saw several children enjoying their time just as much as the adults. Inside the they have snacks, nonalcoholic beverages and food for purchase. There is also a coffee station and pastries. They have about 6 different options for tastings. I opted to do a tasting at the bar. It was nice because they will pour you your tasting and let you walk around the property and come back to the bar when you're ready for your next pour. It didn't feel rushed or strict. It was a nice leisure tasting. The wine was good. I'm not a dry wine person but it I'm always willing to try different kinds of wine and every vineyard has their own unique flavors. They even have fire pit seated tasting that I think you have to book because I did see reserved signs and they have these cute private Outlook tasting. Check out their website because they have lots of details on what they offer for tastings and how to book. They do take walk-ins for tasting which is fantastic because it was a spur of the moment visit for me but if you want to guarantee availability I would recommend booking it. Aside from the reserved areas they have indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating. I would love to come back and visit in the spring and/or summer season to see all the beautiful greenery and pretty blue skies.

Yelp
Beautiful views! The pizza was a perfect snack for our 3 person group. We split bottles of the rose and Prosecco. Everything was great!

Yelp
Viansa is a lovely winery in Sonoma, about 46 minutes north of San Francisco. We came here for a birthday celebration and had an outdoor private booth reserved. We did the wine tasting and had several plates of charcuterie, including cheese and salumi board, caviar, chips and dip, and Pork Rillette. The vineyard was very busy that day so service was a bit slow. Our host introduced four wines to us of which I tried the Rosé and Prosecco and both were really good. We were left to enjoy our wine and food pairing for awhile. The vineyard was really lovely and the views were amazing. Luckily, we had perfect weather. This was my first time trying caviar and it was way better than I had imagined. When our host returned, he introduced four more bottles of wine. I tried the Sangiovese and the Brut Sparkling, both were really good. We enjoyed the wine and food pairing, took some scenic photos, and bought 3 bottles to go. We had a really nice first experience at Viansa.

Janice R.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday trip and was a great choice of many! We did not try any food here but the wine selection was great. The scenery was gorgeous with a serene vibe all around. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Charlene P.

Yelp
Beautiful winery and scenery. Friendly service, delicious wines. Currently, trying to figure out how to retire here.

Veronica L.

Yelp
David Grant was a great host and we had a great time here. Great charcuterie and good wine. Beautiful property with breathtaking views. Would definitely recommend this winery as a place to stop.

Robert G.

Yelp
This winery is freaking awesome. I was so glad and lucky to find this place and can't believe the experience was so great. Our server was great and gave us some really awesome insight as to what each wine was in our tasting, and recommended other wines to try on top of it. The snacks are great and I highly recommend the red tapenade! You can walk around the vineyard after as well and hit the store to buy some wine or local treats. Every single wine here that I tried was impressive and the views can not be beat! It's only about an hour from San Fran and a great place to stop at for lunch if you have a car to get here. Definitely pre book a tasting and snacks and don't forget to use the Yelp check in for a solid deal. I really do hope that I can make it back here sometime.

Yelp
We hadn't been to Viansa in about 10 years, but it used to be our favorite winery to visit. Unfortunately, although the wine is still excellent, the customer experience at the winery is not what it used to be. We first discovered Viansa not long after it was started. Back then they provided a very personalized experience to all visitors, and the staff was mainly members of the Sebastiani family (some of whom we got to know on a first name basis). After several ownership transfers, and now back to the Sebastiani's, something's gone missing. We arrived without an appointment, but the place was almost empty. The server at the wine counter was pleasant, but not particularly enthusiastic. She provided almost no overview of the wines and just kind of pointed to other things were could buy in terms of food and where to sit. It was a beautiful day and we of course wanted to sit outside with the view over the vineyard and valley. We were then informed that for my tasting flight, I would have to come back inside for each wine. Once seated, we noticed that there were servers bringing wines to other tables. We weren't sure if this was for those with appointments or maybe members only (we used to be). Regardless, none of the servers so much as welcomed us or even acknowledged our presence. We've received better at fast food restaurants. Again, the wines continue to be excellent. However, the Charcuterie box we purchased was just ok, and had soggy crackers. We were very disappointed, and chose not to purchase any bottles.

John O.

Yelp
The location is exceptional. The wine? At least for me, it didn't blow me away.....but then again, I'm not big into Italian wines. Standard tasting is a rose, chardonnay (my favorite of the wines), a Barbera, and I think a Cabernet. Pours were decent, glasses were cheap. The view from Viansa is bar none one of the best in Sonoma. On a clear day, it can't be beat - you can see pretty far into the valley. They have a ton of different food options here with views to boot. Unfortunately the wine didn't do it for me and it was just a bit too disorganized and crowded for my liking. Service was not terribly attentive. I can see, however, why the spot is popular. Viansa seemed to be filled with babies, dogs, and men holding hands. If you don't mind any of those things, then maybe you'll like Viansa. I can't stand babies crying and kids running around when all I'm trying to enjoy an adult establishment and relax. I'm glad I had a chance to visit here as a member of the VWE Shareholder Program. Food was good at a reasonable price. Do try the burrata, and don't forget to tip your waiter.........

Sam L.

Yelp
Went to Napa with some friends to check out the wine tasting while in the bay area- but definitely with the goal of staying on a budget. This place was perfect! The view was beautiful, it was up on a hill where you could see a lot of the surrounding landscape. The place was very nice as well, with a welcoming front entrance that led you through the front courtyard and wine cellars up the stairs to the beautiful outdoor seating. We did the wine tasting on the summit option- where we tried 4 wines on the outdoor patio for $35 per person. We also purchased a few charcuterie boards to go with it (all of it we reserved and purchased online before coming). Very delicious! We tried a rosé, chardonnay, sangiovese, and another red wine. I really enjoyed the sangiovese especially. This was a great experience for an incredible price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Justin C.

Yelp
Amazing service and nice variety in the charcuterie box including salmi, mild coppa, prosciutto, seasonal cheese, sweet peppers, strawberry, cranberry and fig jam 4/5. Wine tasting: Pinot Grigio 4.5/5 Rose of barbera 3/5 Sangiovese 3/5 Cabernet Sauvignon 3/5 Quattro blend 4.5/5 Breathtaking views to be had whilst enjoying your vino.

lisa s.

Yelp
Beautiful and enchanting. Fabulous wine selection. Easy parking and nice food selection. Awesome hill side view.

Nitin B.

Yelp
Absolutely garbage place. Bad wine. Terrible service. They told me cabanas were not available because they are reserved and parties were coming. There was literally no one on the property. Also servers were rude. I never leave reviews, but this deserves a bad one.

Austin W.

Yelp
I'm honestly a bit disappointed by my wine tasting experience at Viansa Winery. To start, when my wife and I stopped by on a Monday afternoon, we found most of the food options closed: the deli wasn't open to sandwich orders and pizza service was not operating. We found out later pizza is only available on weekends, weather permitting. The only food we could grab were salads and some pre-made charcuterie boards out of the fridge inside. The wine tasting experience was my main disappointment. If you just want to drink, this might be a good place to come. If you want to learn more about the wine you're drinking, you will not get that here. After you receive your pour of wine, you're told the name of the wine (which you could very well just read off of the tasting menu), and then you're off on your own to wander around the premises. You're not told what to look for in the wine, you're not told about the production of the wine, nor are you told about the history of the vineyard. As I was poured my last wine, I wasn't even upsold or asked about whether or not I wanted to purchase any of the wines -- what a strange experience. Overall, I didn't enjoy my visit enough to want to stop by again.

Emily A.

Yelp
Stunningly gorgeous! The wine was fabulous, the staff were gracious, and I could not get over the amazing view! We did not need a reservation to stop in and get a few glasses of wine. There were plenty of tables on the patio to sit and sip.

Sharon S.

Yelp
Visited Viansa for the first time the week between Christmas and New Year's. It was a rainy day, but we were still impressed by the view and plan to return on a day when we can walk around the grounds. Hannah poured our wines and was very nice. She was helping other tables and was fairly busy since there were several groups in the tasting room. The pours were enough so you could sample the wine and decide if you liked it. We brought home some of their red blend. We didn't try the food, but we'll give it a try another time. Looked like there were several choices. Would recommend Viansa for groups or families. Lots of space in the tasting room and also a good amount of outdoor seating with great views.

Lexus F.

Yelp
Yelp San Fran Edition!! Viansa will literally take your breath away. The views and ambiance is unmatched in my opinion. The patio area is by reservation only (see in photos), but there are other grassy areas that offer picnic tables that are walk-in. We came for the wine tasting and also ordered a burrata to share. I really enjoyed that our server took the time to educate us about the wine. The burrata was very good as well, especially the pesto and tomatoes, but they only give you 4-5 small pieces of bread, which is maybe enough for a quarter of the cheese/app. The wine was also delightful! The service was definitely the downfall. We had made a reservation pretty far in advance and our table was not ready at our reservation time, and we waited about another 20 minutes. Our server was also a little bit on the slow side despite letting them know we had another reservation at another winery. I would recommend to expect delays when coming here.

Andrew A.

Yelp
Gorgeous views, delicious wine, and tasty pizza. What more could you ask for? I went here with a larger group (~20) for a birthday party and they did an incredible job. Everyone enjoyed the wine and our waitress/tasting guide, Rachel, was incredibly helpful and friendly. While we would've had an incredible time anyways (such a great place), Rachel made is even better. But definitely book a table here and then plan time for walking around the grounds- the views are phenomenal. Will definitely be back!

Karen B.

Yelp
I wish I'd taken a pic with Kat! We came in last minute before closing. She treated us like she had all night, explained what I was tasting and found a white Chardonnay that I liked (I'm a red girl) We're back to Ohio , I ordered 6 bottles of my now favorite White. Thanks Kat!

James M.

Yelp
My work had our sales off site here right before the 22' holiday season. What can I say, just look at the photos. Even if the wine wasn't great (it was) this scenery would give it 4 stars. We ordered sandwiches, wine tasting for five, a couple baked goods and bread, all of which were delicious- we left no food or drink behind. Went home with a bottle of Pinot and a Sangiovese, a sweet gift from my coworker for being a Nov baby. The cute store/deli area is icing on the cake. Pros: Breathtaking views, friendly crew, great wine, cute food/deli, gift/wine shop and breathtaking ambiance. Cons: Having to go home afterwards.

Toma T.

Yelp
Vianza was the perfect choice for our son's wedding this month. The property is large and beautiful and the surrounding views are truly stunning. The place was a truly upscale experience and made our kids' wedding a truly memorable experience.

Jason G.

Yelp
My visit here had me worried at the beginning that it was going to be a robotic and regimented visit. But thankfully it turned a 180 and became an outstanding experience. The view was incredible as always. The server finally loosened up a bit and asked our preferences and poured some additional things. The real surprise was the on-site pizza kitchen. So we bought a pizza, opened a bottle, and stayed a bit longer.

Emilie S.

Yelp
Stopped for a glass as we were leaving Sonoma. It was nice to be able to grab a glass and seat ourselves after doing a tasting at another spot. We had the Rosé and the Sauvignon Blanc. The pours were very generous. Both were fine, very traditional winery. We arrived around 4 and they were closing at 5 so there were a decent amount of seats available. The kitchen was closed but they had some refrigerated cheeses and meats available. It's kid friendly so there were lots of children running around.

Alisa K.

Yelp
Beautiful winery with the best views of the city and the grapes. Did the $25 wine tasting which starts at the bar and you have the option to walk around the area or sit down at a table outside while you finish your glass. I wasn't a big fan of the wines here and the staff was not the best as well. Got the vibe that she either didn't want to be there or didn't want to talk to us about the wine. She said her short blurb for each wine and then moved on quickly.

Ade S.

Yelp
Viansa Winery & Marketplace is a treasure in the heart of Sonoma Valley. It is known for its award-winning wines and stunning views of the valley. The winery offers a variety of experiences, from tastings in the charming tasting room to private outlook tastings among the vineyards. The family and I had an enjoyable meal from the marketplace while the kiddo had a wood-fired pizza. The winery's extensive wine list features Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. The marketplace is a treasure trove of wine country souvenirs, including glassware, table décor, wine openers, decanters, and serving ware. Viansa is a welcoming place for groups, pets, and children. The winery has a large lawn, patio, and outdoor tables for patrons to relax and enjoy their visit. Yelpers rave about Viansa Winery. They say it is more than just a wine-tasting experience; it is a memorable event. Yelpers will get a complimentary tasting if you check in on Yelp; that's a $25 value off your bill. The accommodating staff, like Kat, the enchanting location, and the superb facilities make Viansa an indispensable landmark on any Sonoma itinerary. Go get your "drank" on!

Chris S.

Yelp
This was my first wine tasting experience and viansa is definitely exceptional for many reasons. The wine here was fantastic and the estate itself is wonderful. The views and surrounding area are nutz. The service here was also pleasant. Ethan, Our wine connoisseur, was extremely nice and knowledgeable and without a doubt made my more enjoyable. I definitely enjoyed the experience and would recommend viansa to anyone looking for a pleasant wine tasting venue.

Linda H.

Yelp
Another beautiful winery that I've passed a million times but have never stopped by. The grounds of this winery are beautiful which explains the many weddings that take place. It really does feel like you're in Italy for a moment. The tastings are mostly done outside so def dress for the weather or you can do a tasting at the bar which is less intimate. I'd def say the reds were far better than the whites. The primitivo was my fave overall. Nice stop along the way if you're on that wine tasting road.

Jen L.

Yelp
Viansa is such a gem in the wine tasting region, not too overly commercialized and catering to tourist but still has this very high end feel to it. The winery sits on top of a high hill so you can oversee everything in Sonoma. It has such large space and you can choose from a variety of different areas including indoor bar, outdoor patio, park benches, private pavilions overlooking the preserve, member only areas and back shaded / heated patio. They have a wide selection of different wines and tiers. We're members there so we can get free tastings / glass of wine when we visit which is nice because you can choose from doing it inside at the bar, walking around the property or sitting in the members section in the hill. I do like their wines a lot and feel like they have a subtle complexity to them but are still palatable enough to suit everyone's taste. They have great chardonnays for summer and also more aromatic and bolder reds as well They also have a pizza oven on the weekends, live music and marketplace with a selection of sandwiches, cheeses and snacks! They're also super dog friendly so you can bring the pooch and kids to spend the afternoon there!

Will M.

Yelp
Had a great time here. Staff was friendly, food was delicious, wine was tasty and the views and property are to die for. Will definitely be back.

Star M.

Yelp
Great views, great wine, good food for wine pairings & picnic. Walk ins are ok, but reservations for best tables with views.

Anushri T.

Yelp
Love this place! The food is good quality and yummy. They have nice glasses and marble things as well. Always gets me! Love that this place has food with winery.

Ashleigh S.

Yelp
I'm very glad we went here, because the view was amazing and the server was very personable. However, I honestly wasn't a huge fan of their wine. We had the standard flight which was four tastings for $35 (plus a fee for online reservation...which I don't love because making a reservation is helping the business, but this winery is hardly the only ones who do it) which included the white blend, a chardonnay, pinot noir, and an estate sangiovese. Now to be fair, I'm not typically a chardonnay fan anyway, but this was just not it. The sangiovese was my favorite of the four and a nice wine I'd have with dinner but all of the bottles seem like a $8-15 wine, not the premium price they're going for. And, granted we just did the standard tasting, but we didn't get much background of the winery, grapes grown, etc. We were mainly left on our own to enjoy the two tastings she brought out at once. So, loved the view, and would love to see a concert up here or some live music. But I'm not racing to come back for the wine.

Megan Y.

Yelp
This winery is beautiful! They were setting up for a wedding while I visited and it's easy to see why... The entire grounds are stunning. The patio area where they do the wine tastings has a gorgeous view overlooking the valley that truly levels up the whole experience. If you're visiting San Francisco and don't want to drive all the way to Napa for wine tasting, plan a drive to Sonoma and visit Viansa! The service was great, the prices were reasonable, the wines were good. They are accommodating to small and large groups and you can even book a private outlook for groups up to 6. Check out their website and you'll see the variety of reservation options.

Imo O.

Yelp
First off, Viansa is STUNNING! I honestly wish that I took more pictures and videos because this is not enough. The winery itself is seated on top of a hill that overlooks the vineyard. As I explored the grounds, I was in awe. You really feel like you're in Italy. Just the grounds alone, I was already sold. Viansa passed the vibe check. There are so many seating options on site - on top at the terrace with umbrellas to keep you cool, in the back terrace area underneath the shade with picnic tables and lounge chairs, or in the gazebos overlooking the vineyards. Note these all have different price points. Reservations are recommended and if you do make a reservation, you must pay at that moment. But if you have a smaller party, I am sure you can stop in for a tasting and be seated. Viansa can also accommodate big groups. We had four wines in our flight and a special sparkling pour because we were celebrating recent grads! All of the wines were great but I enjoyed the Chardonnay the most. Our host was so great and very knowledgeable about the wines. Last, there are many food options available from sandwiches, charcuterie boards, salads, and their pizza oven with delicious pizza! Personally it was pricey but it was what I needed. Viansa is definitely worth the visit and perfect if this is your first time wine tasting in Sonoma. Adding this to my list of favorites!

Yelp
Morning yoga at a winery? Sign me up! Gorgeous setup and scenery for yoga as your eyes feast on a surreal landscape. The birds were quite chatty which I loved but the neighboring air strip was a bit obnoxious. Bring sunscreen, a water bottle and a hat because it gets hot and the yoga area is not covered. They follow it up with a hike around the property's wetlands and picnic! Different way to experience and appreciate a winery for sure. The family has worked hard to maintain and preserve generations of cultivating and conserving. Can't rave about the picnic lunch, which consisted of sandwiches, kettle chips and a salad without dressing. The wine selection was nice (and included) where we sampled the rose & cab but the Sauvignon blanc disappeared. Unfortunately in the winery, the Sangiovese was completely out but we went home with a couple bottles of Pinot noir :)

Yelp
I went wine tasting with friends last month and Viansa was the first of three stops of the day. I loved it! With our Yelp check-in, we had a 2 for 1 tasting and we were able to grab one of the gazebo sitting areas overlooking the vineyards. We also went to the deli and picked some sandwiches and cheese platters to share- though my cousin just told me she went the week after and you can do a tasting with food for $75. We got different items, but our favorite was the truffle brie. We had about 5 different wines included in our tasting and the grounds were beautiful. It was a beautiful day, so all the wineries got crowded later in the day. We did make a reservation, and there was plenty of parking. I would love to visit the place again!

Yelp
Great views and wonderful service. A great follow to a hot air balloon ride in Sonoma.

Yelp
We booked a wine tasting in the afternoon and our server, Kaitlynn was amazing! You could tell that she was very knowledgeable about the wines and just passionate about the wines that Viansa has. We kicked off our tasting with the 2020 Viansa white blend - this was one of my favorites since I prefer white, it had a hint of sweetness and fruitiness. Please note that this was just a bonus! Our server originally had this with her so she started our tasting with this. Next up was the 2021 terra collection Chardonnay - I do have to say that this tasted more of an average white but it was still good. 2021 terra collection pinot noir - I am personally not a fan of reds but this one was delicious! The description mentioned sweet red fruits with dried flowers and subtle oak. This was less dry as a red and you can definitely taste the hint of subtle oak. 2021 tetra collection bianchetta trevigiana- also one of my top fave whites - I love the hint of fruit and sweet. The bianchetta and white blend are my top 2. Last but not least a 2019 altura collection estate Sangiovese - my boyfriend loves reds and this was his fave! You can definitely taste the grapes in this one, but definitely more on the sour side as these grapes were grown for 35 years on the original vine At the end of our tasting, we decided to go with the rosé and omg this was also so good and fairly priced! After checking in, we realized that viansa was doing a bogo tasting with a Yelp check in. Since we already did the tasting, the server offered us $25 off the bottle, which was amazing! The venue is so amazing and the servers are so nice and attentive! I will definitely bring my friends and family back here as the wines are delicious and the views are breathtaking.

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed yesterday afternoon at this winery with our baby girl and a friend of us. The location is beautiful with an amazing panoramic view. We did the regular flight (35$ per person) that includes the tasting of four wines (white, rosè and two reds). My least favorite was the rosè (I'm not a rosè person), but I really like the two reds especially. We also ordered a cheese and salumi board to taste better the wine. Location and wine worth to come here. The only downside was the service because the guy was not into us. He didn't really described the wines (he just said the things already written on the paper), we asked few times for the water, and the forks when he brought us the cheese and salumi board. I think he knows he's having the tip after all. I can overcome this, just because the winery allows kids. Beyond that, the experience was good and we have an amazing time together.
