I was fortunate enough to have Vibrant Table be the contracted caterer at an event space I was using for an 80th birthday party. As you know, most event spaces have a contracted caterer and you can't bring in anyone else. Well, my guest of honor wanted BBQ for her 80th birthday party and so I sent what we would have ordered from her favorite BBQ place to Vibrant Table and they created an amazing buffet for us. When I tell you that the brisket might be the best I've ever had...I still think about it. Everyone RAVED about the food. The mac and cheese, all the salads and the meats were so delicious. We had a great partner using the VT2U option and they blew our minds. If you get to pick a caterer, choose Vibrant Table. If you're lucky enough to have them as your space's contracted caterer fear not, you are in good hands and your food will be amazing.

Really good food, good variety of meals proposal, tasty & healthy. For our event made on multiple days, we try a lot of different meals : breakfast, tacos bar, vegetables crudites, chicken, cauliflower steak... and it was absolutely delicious and tasty. Made with fresh ingredients. The preparation of our event was simple with Stephanie. They are really flexible to make our event a success. Thanks to all of your team!

Vibrant Table provided the most incredible catering for our wedding! From start to finish, their team was professional, attentive, and truly passionate about delivering an unforgettable dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, and raved about by all of our guests. Every dish was crafted with care, and the flavors were out of this world! Many guests told us it was the best wedding food they've ever had. They accommodated all dietary needs seamlessly and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The service was excellent and very attentive. Cam was our coordinator and really fantastic to work with. She thought of every detail and was very helpful in working with our budget. I've used Vibrant Table many times to cater my sales training classes and every time I get rave reviews. They are professional. The menu is seasonal and diverse. They cater to dietary needs and the food is always fresh, bright and delicious.

Had a work training here in Portland. They catered breakfast and lunch both days. The food is amazing. I wish he had a place in Phoenix.

Vibrant Table was a dream! This was my first event with them and hopefully not my last. Katy Nelson (Event Planner/Project Manager) was incredible. Her communication was professional, timely, and friendly. She attended several on-site meetings at the venue and handled the rapid fire questions with ease. She managed all of the rentals and nothing was missed for our 200 person event. Her day-of management team nailed it. Family style, full service catering is not an easy event and I felt as if I was twiddling my thumbs once food started because they were efficient, effective, and overall amazing. My industry experience allows a healthy level of perspective and I don't recommend or review vendors lightly! I highly recommend Vibrant Table for your future event. You won't regret it.

Staff extremely unfriendly. Event was scheduled to close at 10pm by 9:30 they were taking your plate and glasses away from your table as you were still eating/drinking. Clearly wanting to have guests leave. We host events frequently and we were very disappointed in the service.

Being a part of the event industry myself, it was a no-brainer to support VT to Go, Vibrant Table's meal delivery service! VT has been a valued partner of ours for years and I knew the level of quality and thoughtfulness that would go into their prepared meals. They quite frankly exceeded my expectations with the quality of ingredients used and the execution of the final product. The delivery experience was easy and stress-free. Pro-tip: grab a bag or 2 of the burritos and stick them in the freezer. Thanks to folks of VT, we appreciate you!

We had an amazing wedding with the help of VT. Their experience and organizational skills meant that I didn't forget any details (my budget didn't allow for a wedding planner). They even provided a detailed schedule for the whole night that I passed on to our DJ and contact person. Not to mention the most important part: the food was delicious! Our guests raved about it. I found wedding planning to be extremely stressful at times but was continually grateful to have the VT team in my corner - I knew they had their part handled so that I was free to figure out the million other details. We held our wedding at Lan Su Chinese Garden, and worked with Vibrant Table for our catering, as well as for party rentals, decor, and flowers. We could not be happier with the service they gave us, and honestly wish we could do it again! From the beginning, our contact, Miranda, was helpful, easy to reach and easy to communicate with, and worked with us at our pace to make decisions and finalize plans. She was patient, flexible, and supported us in making the decisions we wanted to, and also had great suggestions for things we might not have thought of. The VT team on the day of the wedding was on-point and so professional. We had one small unexpected turn of events, and their team worked hard to turn it around and not correct the issue, but make it significantly better, and we appreciated that effort and acknowledgement. The food was just outstanding; my uncle the chef apparently ordered three servings of bread to soak up every last drop and morsel of dinner. We are so happy with the service we received and how everything turned out, we really do wish we could do it again. Thank you Miranda and everyone at Vibrant Table!

This is a somewhat tough review to write as I want to give VT the full 5 stars but unfortunately, I can't. Let me explain. First, the good stuff. We had a ~225 person wedding which, as you can imagine, is a hard thing to pull off without a hitch. On top of that, on the day of the wedding, Mother Nature decided to throw as many curve balls as she could our way. The day was filled with torrential downpours, bright rays of sun screaming to exit the cloud line and the most magnificent double rainbow any one has ever seen. Through it all, VT was on top of things. Truth be told, I can't think of a single thing that VT didn't accommodate for. The food we catered for lunch was outstanding and the reception area looked top notch. Also, the planning team was great for the last 2-3 weeks before the event. They asked some great questions we hadn't thought of (and trust me, we're pretty detail oriented so that's a big deal) and it's clear they have planned many events before. Ok, so that's the stuff that went right. In that respect, I can't recommend VT enough. They are bar none some of the best vendors the day of. Now, on to the bad stuff... Strike 1: About 2 months before the event (after we had already set our budget for everything), we were alerted to the fact that it didn't make financial sense for VT to do our event. You can imagine our shock given we were so close to the wedding day. They said that because we weren't using their catering services for dinner, they would be losing money on our event. Look, I get it. I run my own consulting business. For me, it's all about communication. We had told VT for months and months (at least 6 after checking my email) that we wanted to use another restaurant for our food. At no point had VT communicated that they had an minimum dollar amount for catering services that needed to be met to use them. We were pretty worried at this point. Yes, they ended up honoring the proposals they had sent along the way the latest of which included some hypothetical scenarios which we were pricing out. However, these hypotheticals were still outside our budget and our plan was to nix the items outside our budget. However, VT would not budge on these items. In other words, we had to pay for the items that we couldn't really afford or go elsewhere. This left us with a pretty bad taste in our mouth. We had to make some cuts elsewhere but we ended up arriving at a place that we could continue using VT. Strike 2: In the midst of the planning in the last 2 months, the VT team became unresponsive to our emails. Let me clarify: So close to the event, I was expecting the team to respond within 24 hours. It turns out someone on the VT team had an emergency and this caused a mad scramble internally. In this case, I totally understand the VT team being swamped and not being responsive. However, I expected the team to at least respond with a "hey, we saw your email, we'll get back to you in a day". Without any response, we were unsure if VT had written us off given the issues above or if they just weren't receiving our emails and voice mails. These are not things someone wants to face so close to their wedding. It adds undue stress and leaves both my wife and I feeling like VT could had done a better job. I hope this review reads as fair. It's not our goal to knock VT. We have already given this feedback directly to VT so we hope that no one else has this experience going forward!

Since COVID hit, I've been looking for other options to support local businesses. VT is delivering prepared meals+. I ordered this week for the first time and my delivery came today. It was appropriately packaged and delivered while maintaining social distancing. I had the green chicken enchiladas with a side of black beans and rice + chips and salsa tonight. Amazing!!! Heated in my oven and better than I've had in restaurants. It was reasonably priced and I can't wait to order again. Plus, I feel good about supporting local owners at this time!!!

I am super impressed with this company. During this pandemic, Vibrant Table has managed to revamp and evolve to help not only their employees but the community and customers. They have made thoughtfully prepared meals for your family. Not only meals, but pantry and grocery items and adult beverages. I can place an order for 3 nights of meals plus a box of beautiful produce and a bottle of wine or two and take a few nights off from cooking. The mental break from planning delicious, well rounded meals for us has been great. I feel that we are really helping out our local people, chefs, and farmers through Vibrant Table. Plus the option to donate a meal to local doctors and nurses is an added bonus.

We enjoyed catering from Vibrant Table at a family wedding and everything was perfect. They catered a mostly vegetarian meal that was satisfying and delicious! We had these amazing polenta stacks and perfectly cooked asparagus. The dessert samplers were great too because you could try a little of everything. The servers were very attentive too. I would definitely hire them if I had an event in the area.

I contacted this place about catering my wedding. After the admin assistant that responded to me completely messed up my name (that was in the subject line of the email), she then proceeded to talk me out of using their services. I then answered their questions and she said she would forward my request to an event planner. I haven't heard back from them since. I guess they are above catering my wedding...

It was very important to us to have great food and professional service for our wedding of 300+ people. My wedding planner recommended Vibrant Table right away. Emily Michel was our coordinator throughout the year, and my now-husband, my parents, and I all appreciated her so much. She was always very responsive and professional, and I was especially touched that she always went out of her way to see through any request we had. As far as food quality goes, you can't do better than Vibrant Table. Their food is DELICIOUS. My family is Greek, and Emily helped us put together a menu that had both traditional and contemporary components, and the end result was something that was both authentic and unique and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. Emily even helped us import a couple bottles of Ouzo and Raki for an extra treat for our guests! On the day of our wedding, all of the catering staff worked together like a well-oiled machine. Every staff member I saw had a smile on their face, and were on-point all the time. The buffet lines (there were 2) moved quickly, and our guests were not left waiting and no one complained of being hungry (as a Greek, this is my biggest fear... haha!). Our centerpieces were small cakes, so after my husband and I cut our small, 2-tiered cake, VT staff passed out cake servers and knifes so each table could cut their own cake. This idea worked perfectly and our guests loved this too. I couldn't be happier with our choice of caterer. When it comes to price, Vibrant Table is definitely higher-end, but they are worth every penny.

We used Vibrant table for our annual office Christmas party. It was hosted at one of our homes and was fantastic! We had three employees from Vibrant table prepare an amazing feast of Sweet Corn soup with ginger, salads, Creme Brulee, and steak with potatoes. Everything was perfect, the service was outstanding. They weren't too in your face or absent. Just perfect. Everyone one of our staff mentioned how wonderful the food was. It was a high end dining experience in the comfort of you home.

This review is overdue. I owe these people my life! I met with several caterers for my wedding, and started with this company. They set the bar so high by providing me with a complete (this included ALL associated rental costs, staff, tip, and food) bid with in a week of our meeting. Literally every other place I met with provided me with incomplete bids or only provided the info after several follow up emails/phone calls. Knowing that this is a well known name in Portland, I assumed that it would also mean most expensive. Not the case, they worked with in my budget and came up with cost saving ideas. In fact they were one of the lower bids I received. Now to where they saved my life...all I wanted was a down home meal including fried chicken. They were the only catering company to come up with the idea of propane fryers so that they could cook it on site. They even let me taste both fresh fried chicken and room temperature fried chicken so that I could decide if spending the extra money to rent the fryers was worth it (it was). The food was amazing, the people were professional, and the prices were reasonable. They even went out of there way to help me with things that had nothing to do with the catering, even though I didn't have them do the "event planning". They served my pies (from another vendor). I did not use them for liquor because I had a "hook - up" for a low cost option and their corkage fees were high. Years later I still receive compliments on how good the food was and how nice the staff was. I can't say enough good things about this place. If food is an important part of your wedding you have to put this catering company on your list- I promise you won't be disappointed.

I was tasked with hosting a baby shower for 30. I had known about Vibrant Table due to some of my previous work on school fundraisers. This was the best baby shower that any of my guests have ever attended. We held a sit down lunch for 30 ladies at their own space, The Loft. The Loft exceeded all expectations! It was fun, spacious, and amazing! The baby momma to be was completely over the moon about the entire event. She has reported to me that numerous guests have sent her notes about how enjoyable the entire event was. It was a place for 30 busy moms to sit down for a bit, enjoy a lovely meal, and a glass or two of wine. I would not hesitate to work with the staff of Vibrant Table again. Consider their space, The Loft. Funky fun. Leave it up to them, and your guests will believe you worked some type of magic. Fantastic results. I will be back!

I recently orchestrated an event in Portland from my work location in Eugene. The UO White Stag Building venue allows only selected Portland-area approved caterers, and VT stood out from the others on the list simply by their selections for a cocktail style party, website photos and online menus Working with the staff through email and an occasional phone call was very convenient and information was presented accurately and in a timely manner. The event coordinator was extremely professional and able to accommodate all of my needs. While I was not able to attend the event myself, I heard continuous positive feedback about the food, how nice things looked and how good items tasted. I was able to sample some leftovers that were boxed up and sent back with my boss and even day old, the flavors were awesome and the quality still shone thorough. VT is somewhat pricey once additional event staff and service charges are factored to the final cost, but on a positive note the food is great, service excellent, and portions generous. For UO functions, VT blows away UO campus catering.

60 friends for my 60th birthday party. Cocktails, appetizers and sit-down dinner served in an elegant theater lobby. And then, we all see the theater's hit play. And then, we have more drinks and food and...dancing!...in the lobby after the play. An eight-hour party for 60 of my very best friends....plus the cast and crew, after the play. When I realized what I had taken on, I figured I had lost my mind. Fortunately, I found Vibrant Table, and all my concerns evaporated. Every one of my needs was immediately answered, and every one of my expectations was gloriously exceeded in the magnificent party that Emily Michel and her Vibrant Table team hosted for my most-beloved people. Drinks, food, linens, flatware, and service are, of course, provided by Vibrant Table. But they also provided the flowers, decorations, and even the DJ for dancing! Everything was just perfect! The cocktails were ample and served with speed and graciousness. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious and served continuously through the cocktail hour. The dinner tables were absolutely gorgeous, as were the flowers -- so much so that one guest, who is a home decorator, asked for Emily's number so that she could hire her for some work at the home of a wealthy client. The dinner was fabulous, to the extent that several guests said the salmon was the best they had ever tasted -- even in restaurants, not to mention from a caterer! The after-play party was a blast, with piles of food for my guests (who included the hungry cast from the play), and the music was irresistible, thanks to one of the best DJs I've ever encountered. (And as a 60-year-old dance maven, I have heard encountered quite a few.) From first meeting to last dance, and at each moment along the way, Vibrant Table was my excellent partner in the happiest birthday party that I (or anyone) could have ever dreamed of. Thank you, Emily, and thank you, Vibrant Table, for a party that will live on as a memorably joyous event for me and all of my guests!

Vibrant Table catered our wedding this summer, along with providing the most amazing floral designs! We planned everything from across the Pacific Ocean, and then from Colorado, and Vibrant Table was right there with us the entire way. They were careful in their planning, provided honest and very helpful feedback, and Meghan and Meg were a pleasure to work with. The Indian food (and alternative meals) they provided were so tasty, and the staff did an amazing job. I don't think my drink was ever empty! The floral arrangements, designed by Madeline at Vibrant Flowers, were absolutely stunning! I wanted to take them all home with me! We were so happy with their service, and so glad that we chose them for such a big day! Thank you VT :)

Vibrant table is seriously the best. From my planner (Auriana, I just love and adore you!) the service and of course the food...EVERYTHING was perfect. Considering what we paid vs. what they delivered I totally scored! I just should have listened and had them do the flowers too!!! I can't give enough praise for how stellar Vibrant Table is. They did everything and saved me the pain of worry on a day that all I wanted to do was party ;) So thank you VT for that! Did I mention that the food was Incredible?! I did not want a course meal and I didn't want a buffet so they created a special tapas style dinner just for me... and all I have heard since was how amazing it was. Thank you!

I have now attended four events catered by Vibrant and each one has been remarkable. Tonight I attended the Oregon Humane Society, Tail Wag event and could tell by the service, food, and atmosphere that this was another Vibrant event. I was right. There had to be at least 250 people and they were serving fish and a vegetarian dish and it was fantastic. The signature cocktails were served with paper straws, and delicious. Thank you for not using plastic straws! The table decor, seating, and overall ambience beautiful. The watermelon and goat cheese appetizer will be in my dreams tonight.

I've worked with Vibrant Table on various occasions. The food is always great and the service is friendly. They are a pleasure to work with--especially on the night of the event.

I just had my wedding last month at The Treasury Ballroom. VT was the exclusive vendor for that venue and I am so happy they were. The staff was so attentive and worked with me for a whole year before the big day. Auriana helped us from day one. We went from the big picture(like the date) to the smallest details(like the number of candles). She made the process so easy and really made me feel calm as time went by. I couldn't imagine what I would of done without her. Kyle was the day of coordinator and did an equally great job. He was sooooo nice to my husband and I. He even snagged some skewers for us while we were waiting to be announced (thanks kyle!!). Oh and he even met up with us the next day to pick up some items people had left behind. I would say you get 10x what you pay for when using them. Just amazing!! Beyond amazing!! Check them out for any event because I am 100% confident that they will deliver above and beyond what you expect :)

Vibrant Table was a great choice for our wedding. They knew the venue well and were very easy to work with. The food was great, and our guests all loved it! The chicken and waffle app was a huge hit, as were the risotto balls and beet napoleons. We did salmon, steak and a vegetarian dish for dinner, and they all came out awesome. The staff were very professional, and kept checking in on me and my now husband throughout dinner to make sure we were happy. The only negative was that they didn't serve a couple of our guests who didn't have ID's on them. But I mean, who brings ID to a wedding?! We tried to vouch for them (there was nobody under 21 at the whole wedding, except the 3 and 6 y/o ring bearer and flower girl...) and even have our coordinator intervene with the VT manager on site, but they didn't listen. They then pinpointed one of our friends, who is 24, and decided she was lying about her age and refused to serve her and threatened to kick her out if she was caught drinking. Someone apparently even grabbed a wine glass out of her hand at one point. I get that they're liable with under age drinkers, but it seemed a bit excessive, especially considering there were no underage drinkers there. Good food and service, but make sure you tell your guests to pack their IDs if you book with VT!

We are at my dad and his wife's 25th wedding anniversary/birthday party, they both are 70 this month/retirement party and vibrant table has been amazing I highly recommend them ! This has been an outside event they have been wonderful in the heat fully dressed and very professional! Just want to give them a special thank you for everything they have done!!!

My husband and I had Vibrant Table orchestrate the catering at our wedding. And my oh my, it was superb. I am a major foodie, and also a wedding photographer so believe me when I say- I have had more experience with lousy catering than I care to admit. Meg was our admin help from VT and she really was a tremendous support and expert counselor on how to bring our vision to life. Our guests raved about the quality and selections of the food, wine and especially the beer and even raved about the great staff/servers. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future!

Vibrant Table catered our company's outdoor summer picnic for 180 people a few weeks ago and did a bang up job. Meg, the sales manager we worked with presented very clear, diverse, and sumptuous menu options that suited all dietary needs and very clearly laid out plans, pricing, and scheduling. The rates seem competitive and they offer full turn-key catering, handling all the prep, site work, and other logistics. During the event, Jordan, the event manager, and his team were professional, on time, and very friendly to all our guests. The food was great and the event went off faultlessly. I'm very impressed by their ability to prepare and serve so much food in an outdoor park that offered no amenities other than an electrical plug (no water, no drains, etc). This is the second year in a row we've used Vibrant Table and will certainly use them again.

We used Vibrant Table for our wedding at Lewis & Clark and we could not have asked for a better team. Colleen and the entire crew made our wedding seamless. The food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly and responsive, and the set up was perfect. We didn't have to worry about a thing. VT also worked with us to arrange for late-night Poplandia popcorn snacks which was a big hit. I cannot recommend them enough for their professionalism, friendliness, and delicious food and beverage options. They are worth every penny.

I am a venue manager in wine country and these folks at Vibrant Table are some of the most wonderful to work with. Professional staff in every way - polite, dressed well, take direction, communicative... The coordinators know what they are doing. They ask all of the right questions of the client and the venue and execute with precision. I have them on my preferred list and you should, too. The food was beautiful and delicious, most importantly, and that's not always easy to do for a crowd.

VT did our wedding catering and did a fantastic job. They were extremely professional and responsive, from the initial quote through the day of the event, and overall a pleasure to work with. All of the food tasted great and was cooked to perfection, and they were able to do a "farm to table" menu for us, as well a custom cocktail menu. The waitstaff was friendly, and we really did not have any issues leading up to the wedding, which is exactly we needed. Overall, we were extremely pleased and would highly recommend VT for your wedding or event!

Vibrant Table, headed up by Kurt Beadell, made our entire experience from planning to ceremony and reception nothing short of spectacular! We pretty much think Kurt Beadell is a creative genius from his vision of food, decor, flowers, lay out, etc. to also logistics and practicality. We rented his space at The Eastside Exchange, both the Cascade Rooftop for my daughter's ceremony and the The Exchange Ballroom for the reception. It is a very special place that is both urban and unique. Many people from the east coast were attending and we really wanted to find something that exemplified Portland. It was perfect! Kurt understood what my daughter and I were looking for in planning her wedding meaning it wasn't overdone but was magnificent and lovely, in a dramatic yet understated way! His team was nothing short of perfection as well: The chuppah for the ceremony was breathtaking. Decorated simply with grapevines and punctuated with flowers in our color scheme, Vibrant Table's florist Page also understood the overall feeling we were trying to achieve. My daughter and her husband are both in the food industry and cared a lot about what was being served and the quality of the food. I can't tell you how many people commented on the food and said it was certainly the best wedding food they had ever eaten! Kurt made the planning a lot of fun as he is a great guy and lead me through the motions like the pro he is. Again, we think the whole team hung the moon, Hannah who was as patient as a saint with me and everyone else we came in contact with. Cannot say enough about the entire experience and truly my daughter's wedding night was something out of a fairy tale!

I had my wedding at the Eastside Exchange Ballroom last month and used VT for the catering/event staff. From the very beginning they were professional, incredibly responsive, and fun to work with. The food was amazing for our wedding, we received tons of compliments from the guests.

This review is long overdue but my experience with Vibrant Table was fantastic! I was planning my wedding from out of state and used Vibrant Table for my catering, rentals, and florals. Page and Kathryn were great to work with and they made the whole experience from the planning to the day-of completely hassle free - we even Skyped a few times so I could see table settings, floral arrangements and so forth. Being an interior designer I am used to having a vision in my head and being able to carry out exactly what I want so I was a little nervous handing over the reigns for such a special day. I wasn't sure if I they would be able to translate exactly what I was envisioning but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. When I walked into my venue I almost started crying it was so beautiful! Due to their extensive planning the whole day went off without a hitch! It was so nice having just one vendor cover so many aspects of the event. I would HIGHLY suggest working with them whether you are planning your event from out of state or locally. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed and I can't even tell you how many compliments we got on the decor, food, etc.

Bridal Bliss has had the pleasure of working with Vibrant Table since 2002! The entire staff is detailed, friendly and creative. Our weddings with Vibrant Table continuously go off without a hitch and our clients have a great experience time and time again. They are customer-service oriented and tried and true professionals!

Amazing food AND terrific staff! I first heard of Vibrant Table a few years back at an event for 200 and they were so impressive I kept their business card just in case I ever needed them for my own fete. So glad I did, because they are still wonderful! Kathryn S. helped me plumb the mysteries of food choices (killer apps, wonderful entrees and side dishes, and the desserts? OMG!) and setting things up, and Josh and Arum were there on event night to manage everything- I got to enjoy the party. I can't wait to find another occasion to have them in on!

Avoid at all costs. The staff was extremely rude as the exclusive caterer to my brothers wedding at Zenith Vineyard. While the food was good, they pulled the alcohol at 8:30 without any explanation and we very antagonistic to the bride. To make matters worse, the manager called the police. They had no back p plan when they closed the bar and the wedding came crashing to a halt. There unprofessionalism will not be forgotten.

I have worked with Vibrant Catering on many different types of jobs. Weddings, Birthdays, gallery openings. Each and every time, they did a fantastic job. Their clients love them, they are professional, and the food is great. highly recommended.

Vibrant Table to the Rescue! We were in a desperate situation as my daughter's outdoor wedding venue was threatened by huge storms. Vibrant helped us do a complete switch up at the last minute and pull off a successful event. Thanks much for delivering happy memories. Food and logistics were great. The only thing that keeps from five stars is that the bartenders are really serious about their OLCC obligations, while I understand it, it can put a damper on some fun.

Vibrant Table was quite possibly our favorite vendor that we work with. They really embraced what we wanted to do for the wedding and helped us figure out how to get it done. With a lot of folks we heard about rules or how things should work. With VT it was all about the Art of the Possible. From adding new menu items based on food that we like to figuring out how to put table names into Fortune Cookies to getting us a pizza food truck for late night consumption they were on top of it all. And not just helping us execute what we wanted, but being a brainstorming partner for what the wedding could be. I cannot thank Hannah and Kurt enough. We had just an amazing day (multiple people have told me best wedding they've ever been to) and Vibrant Table really made that happen.

I used Vibrant Table as an event planner/decorator/caterer for my firm's holiday party - they excelled in all three! I worked closely with Kathy who was beyond helpful to plan the event. She understood what I wanted and made it happen. I didn't have the flexibility in my work schedule to dedicate a ton of time to planning the event, and Kathy was able to work around my schedule. She provided me with a ton of options tailored to what I was looking for - everything from venue, menu, entertainment, and decorations! As the event neared, Kathy let me know that someone else would be leading the event the day off. I was initially a little anxious to work with someone I had not met, but the event went seamlessly. Tom, the event lead, did an awesome job. He and his staff were super flexible - I changed the schedule a bit last minute but they were able to roll with the punches! Everyone who attended the event loved the food, the venue, the entertainment, the decorations! All in all, I don't have any complaints only compliments for Vibrant Table. Admittedly, I wasn't planning my wedding but this holiday party had all the elements of a wedding!

Words can't describe what an incredible experience I had working with the Vibrant Table. Starting from the beginning they made every decision easy and fun. Once my husband and I settled on the Treasury Ballroom, our planner Meg set in to help us with the details. The food was absolutely incredible, our guests are still talking about it! The tasting was a blast, and got us excited for the big day. The Vibrant Table thinks of every detail and makes sure that you are able to enjoy your day. Our wedding day was the most magical, romantic, and stress free day of my life... I couldn't have asked for more! Their event planners and event managers handled everything. The staff that was at our wedding were so professional and detail oriented. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I would HIGHLY recommend the Vibrant Table to anyone!

VT made my wedding! Every single person commented on how smoothly everything proceeded, and how delicious the food and lovely the space were. They were accomdating and gracious and available. They were just absolutely great, and helped make it a wonderful,wonderful event.

Without a doubt Vibrant Table is the best! I have had the pleasure of working with them on large fundraising events at the Portland Art Museum two years in a row. Start to finish the experience was fantastic. Not only is the staff very professional they are personable too which makes for a much better collaboration. I appreciated their thoroughness in addressing every detail and providing me with a variety of options when I needed to make a decision. Both years guests raved about Vibrant Table's food and commended them on their outstanding service. I really can't say enough - if you want exceptional service and delicious food at your event look no further than Vibrant Table.

Vibrant Table recently catered my husband's and my PDX wedding reception at Opal 28 and they did an outstanding job! Kathy is a dream to work with and was extremely responsive and flexible throughout the entire process, quickly suggesting helpful edits to my original list of food items to keep the cost at our planned budget. The night of our event went off without a hitch and Casey and his crew arrived early and were fantastic, warm and welcoming to everyone throughout the night. Our reception occurred a year after my husband and I were married, so we wanted more of a party, not a formal sit down dinner. Our menu consisted of bacon-wrapped sweet potato bites, kobe beef sliders, truffle mac & cheese, yakitori chicken skewers, lamb meatballs, vegetarian fresh wrap salad rolls with peanut sauce, and a gorgeous roasted and/or marinated vegetable platter with dips. Some of the hors d'oeuvres were plated, passed food by Case and team, some were standing appetizers that guests could serve themselves. The food presentation was beautiful, food itself delicious, and my guests raved about all of it. Thank you again, Kathy, Casey, and the whole wonderful crew at Vibrant Table. Don't hesitate to use them for your next catered event!

I have nothing but praise for Vibrant Table. They catered my daughter's wedding at the Bossanova Ballroom on Saturday, Sept 8. Emily Michel, the event manager, was a joy to work with, the food was FABULOUS (everyone I talked to said it was the best wedding food ever!), and the staff was attentive and thoughtful. I have given a lot of parties, and I know how crucial the caterer is to all aspects of the event. Vibrant Table met and exceeded all my expectations.

I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. Vibrant Table is great. They are pros. We worked with Kathy for our wedding at The Treasury Ballroom. They were great about getting communicating with my mother and I through the whole process...this was especially important because we don't live in Portland. They frequently updated our contract as changes came along, and I appreciated the specificity of the documentation they utilize. I was especially thrilled by they're collaboration with us on the menu. Vibrant Table put forth great ideas for our wedding meal, and noted all of all specifications. The day of our wedding was a dream. Kyle was our day-of manager, and he was fantastic to have be a part of our day. The staff was so considerate of us and the wedding party, checking in with me throughout the night to make sure I was getting everything I wanted in terms of food and beverage. I would add, that as someone who works in food/beverage hospitality, this was the most important aspect of our wedding for us. The food was excellent and delicious. The staff was fun and friendly. Kathy even came for part of the event to make sure it was proceeding as planned. As with any event of this nature there were 1-2 miscommunications, but all in all, I would recommend VT for any event; they are well established and personable.

Vibrant Table just catered my wedding at the Lan Su Chinese Garden. From day one they impressed us with quick responses, creativity, organization and open-mindedness. But on the wedding day, they knocked our socks off! The food was amazing. The service was smooth. They even cut our Ben and Jerry's ice cream cake (their poor wrists!). We loved loved loved them

The 5 stars were given because I have never attended a wedding where the catered food was memorable. And I have attended many elegant weddings over the years. Our daughter got married August 1, 2014. During the reception guests were already making comments about the food. Here are a few that I personally heard: "The beef with chimichurri sauce was superb." "I went looking for more of the chimichurri sauce." The dinner was plated so I am wondering how the kitchen handled the request. "The chicken was moist and tender." "The somosas were to die for." While the appetizers were being passed I saw a guest chase the waiter to get another ramikin filled with 3-cheese macarroni. Several other guests made positive comments about this appetizer as well. The staff was very professional. All requests were immediately attended to. We were fortunate to have Auriana as our event coordinator. She is by far THE best professional associated with vendors I have dealt with throughout my life. An article would not offer me enough space to sing her praises. Thank you Vibrant Table for a glorious evening. The groom, the bride, the families and all the guests thank you! VT price point seems initially to be on the spendy side but their invoice is crystal clear, they leave no charges "for later," and are quick to make any modifications that are necessary. I just love this company. They are worth every penny they charge. I forgot to mention that the catering truck had to travel 1 1/2 hr to the event site. The food was served warm and moist. Those people create miracles.
