Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse

What a nice restaurant! My partner and I visited Vic and Anthony's after visiting a lantern festival in May Landing. We were able to book a reservation last minute. The ambiance is nice, and since it is located within the Golden Nugget, there is free parking. We ordered the crab cake for our appetizer, which was smaller than expected but was one of our favorites. My partner ordered the ribeye, and I ordered the lamb chop. They were very tender. I think the entree meals were a good portion, and the sides are very big and good for sharing. The wild mushrooms were delicious. Our waitress was very nice to us. I asked for a sweet red wine and she served me an amazing sangria- we ended up ordering another one! We were too full for dessert, but I would like to return to check the dessert menu and try more of their seafood- the lobster looked promising.

Celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary 🎊 and everything was exceptional! We started with the charcuterie board. Afterwards we had shrimp scampi and porterhouse steak that was cooked to perfection by chef Daniel. Our server Ashley cared for our needs providing the best recommendations for drinks and the best cut of meat. For dessert toffee bourbon bread pudding and specially made carnivore fresh whipped cream. Perfect!

UPDATE (six months later): still love coming here! Had dinner here recently—of course we requested for Kyle! Steaks are consistently delicious and well flavored—and we get an add-on of 5 oz. Lobster Tail. Also, a new favorite dish is the Branzino! For drinks, they make some tasty Martinis. We decided to try something new rather than stick to our usual at hard rock. This was for our first anniversary and was highly disappointed from start to finish . I’m 8 months pregnant and thought maybe we could enjoy something a little closer for a change. Our typical go to is council oak steakhouse and upon looking at the menu figured how bad could this place be… Bad. I ordered the chicken which was weird texture and not the greatest presentation while my husband ordered the ny strip. Overall the steak may have been the best thing we ordered flavor wise. He couldn’t hear over the loud music/bar and had ordered broccoli to accompany his meal which we got a great laugh out of. He spent a total of $15 for this broccoli which consisted of THREE LARGE FLORETS not even cut , enough to feed our entire family . While funny, it was not cooked and inedible. Waste of money there . The bread we were served was hard as a rock , we didn’t eat it which was surprising in itself considering we are both big on bread. I’ve had croutons softer than what we had been served . never again will we return , for the $150 we could go all out at our usual steakhouse and actually enjoy ourselves

This was my second time coming here and the food is amazing. I did order the executive tower, The Bronzino and the crabcake everything was delicious. Would definitely Return 10/10

Been here a couple of times and its a hit every time. From the romantic atmosphere to great service to great food….Vic and Anthonys gets it right. In my opinion they cook and season the steaks perfectly….everyone is super friendly and attentive without being over bearing. Just simply an enjoyable experience.

Very romantic environment friendly staff a little disappointed with the flavors was expecting more of a wow reaction. But the peppercorn sauce was amazing with the steak! service was excellent manager server and busser all had great attitude and very helpful making sure we didn’t need anything . Nice fancy place to take your partner birthday anniversary I will be going back and recommend to anyone looking for a good quality steak .

Love Vic's and Anthony's! My wife, brother in law and I always try to come eat here when in AC. We always requests Kyle because he's awesome. Attentive, friendly and charismatic personality, makes our dining experience even better. The steaks are amazing, ribeye and NY strip. The meat is tender and flavored just how we like it. Always get the lobster tail add on. Recommend sides: mashed potatoes, fries, and creamed spinach.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Vic and Anthony's on August 16th. Our server Anthony was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and offered great menu suggestions. The lamb chops, chicken, creamed spinach, and au gratin potatoes were all delicious. Unfortunately, the manager ignored our table completely, while warmly engaging with others. This felt uncomfortable and disappointing, especially since my husband is African American. Aside from that, the food and service from Anthony made the evening memorable. I give the food, ambience and services 5 stars and to the manager you need to address all the customers, not just the ones that you approve of. ---

You can consider us seasonal regulars here, as my partner and I love visiting Vic & Anthony's a few times a year. Truthfully, they never disappoint and the service is always top tier. However, we had an unfortunate experience this time around. We went on Thanksgiving and ordered the usual steaks we get. The complimentary bread was great, as always, but what took us by surprise was how our steaks came out. I ordered the filet mignon, asked for it medium, and it arrived extremely well-done. My fiancé's ribeye didn't have a good sear, was gray all around, and when he cut into it, it was extremely rubbery. It honestly looked like the steak had been previously frozen. We spoke to our server, and the manager came by to apologize and offered to bring us fresh steaks. We waited about 30 minutes, only to experience the same issues again. We're not sure if this happened because they were serving a Thanksgiving special and perhaps didn't have their full chef team, but regardless, it's still a steakhouse--and we expect a great steak. This experience left us a bit worried for our next visit, and we hope the food quality returns to what we're used to at Vic & Anthony's. We truly appreciate our server and manager for being apologetic and not charging us for the steaks, but we sincerely hope this doesn't happen again.

So impressed with us AWSOME steakhouse. It was an experience you need to experience. I loved the food and the service. Great atmosphere as well. It was the first time I went to a steakhouse for seafood ! I highly recommend!!

We're regular customers here so I wasn't going to review again but tonight was amazing. I ordered the bone in filet, rare. It was cooked perfectly. The seasoning was good. A little salty but not too much. Extremely tender. The wedge salad was good but over dressed for me. I would ask for the dressing on the side. It's definitely big enough to share. I was surprised with the addition of egg and carrots. We got fries for our side. I don't remember them being this good. It was a decent amount too. They are served with ketchup and a white sauce. I can't figure out what that sauce is....fresh herbs but maybe dill.... Honestly, the fries don't need any dipping sauce. I wish I remember our server's name. She was doing the whole bar seating area and had a smile the whole time. She was on top of everything.

Took hubby here for his birthday dinner and had such great hospitality and food! Upon arrival we were welcomed with " happy birthday" we walked in to a lively but not loud crowd with music playing in the background that made a nice ambiance We enjoyed the Branzino fish Tuna poke and the Caesar salad Nice restaurant inside of the golden nugget casino

Fortunately, I am at the Golden Nugget during restaurant week. And I have the great fortune of finally eating more than bar food at this restaurant, lol. I am a happy hour barfly. In any event, I had the Bronzino, with lobster mashed potatoes and spinach. It was absolutely divine. They didn't have any gluten-free desserts on the restaurant week, & when I asked to have two appetizers instead, they wouldn't allow it. Which is understandable, I guess. So I took the bread pudding back to my room to give to my wife later. I did take a bite to adequately assess it, it is delicious. I started with the chopped salad, but I have had that several times before so that wasn't a surprise that it was also delicious as usual. earlier today, I had a tiny bit of happy hour, and I had my tuna Crudo and a glass of wine. I love the tuna here, but again I wish they came up with a gluten-free chip option, so I just eat it without the wontons.

Nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant, excellent service and a high end happy hour that offers high quality food with unbeatable prices. We sampled the oysters, jumbo shrimp, tenderloin and shrimp skewers, calamari and ahi tuna. All delicious and with two drinks and a glass of wine all under $100.

First time visiting this restaurant and my husband and I had a blast! The ambiance, food, drinks and service were amazing! Not sure how we overlooked Vic & Anthony''s but it's definitely a go to when in Atlantic City going forward!

Shout out to Paulina and her manager. Excellent service on an incredibly busy night. Dinner was excellent but the show stopper was the crème brûlée! Cocktails were also top notch. I had the basil lemon drop. The vibe was fast paced but very calm.

I am so sorry For this experience! I get disappointed. I expected very good experience and I was very excited....But... We always go to Morton's Steak House or Old Homestead. This time I wanted something different when I check it out I find Vic&Anthony's! I love the place, I find it more cozy and boutique! My husband wanted go to Old Homestead but when I promote the place he said; "ok let's go and try!" I made a reservation by open table. And I have already written, it's anniversary! Our reservation was 7:30pm. We arrive 7:07. The ladies in the entrance was waiting for the customers. But one of them her name is Marcella was sooo rude! She didn't welcome us! No smile, no welcome, She even didn't spruce up from the desk that she stand up! I said we are little bit early, she grumbling something which even I didn't hear very well, than my husband ask we get bar, she even didn't show us way! She just point with her hand! The lady on the bar very fast and she made very nice drink for us. It was 7:27, still no one didn't take us, I walked to her and ask, she said ok I will show you... She took us to the table at the eeeeeend ! Anyway! I asked her name, she said Marcella And I said; "our first time here, any suggestion? What is your signature dish,..." She didn't answer and she said "I will tell you the waitress" She asked, do we want white napkins or black napkins! This one the good and different detail! Anyway there is waitress came up, she asked us, is this our first time? I said, "I told the Marcella, absolutely she said, she will inform the waitress" she said , "no she didn't say!" She gave menu! 5 minutes later an other waitress came up, and she said; "is this your first time or have you been..." Anyway we order; appetizer, meat, sides,... Do you believe, we wait 1 hour and 7 minutes for main dishes! Even for cold shrimp we waited 47 minutes! And the bread and was butter was very delicious and we eat whole bread! Because I was starving and when they bring the dishes I was already full! I told my husband let's cancel and let's go somewhere else! Because I was embarrassed, because he already told me let's go to Homestead!!! The waitress said, "sorry we are busy" and for the appetizer "I thought you want it with meal!" Anyway, meat was ok! The only thing my husband wanted bone on the meat. But bone wasn't any juice, it was empty. He told the waitress and she apologized and took it from the bill! I love the Jersey Long Hot! If I come here again just because of Jersey Long Hot! Coffee was very bad, cold. They bring new one. But this time tast was bed! I am really sorry! I wish I can talk with manager! I gave 3 star for the drinks in the beginning that barmaid made in the beginning and for that Jersey Long Hot! Marcella need to train or she must give up! I am sure she never accept this attitude from anyone! She never take care of! Or she does when she want! Or she choose people!

We had reservations and still had to wait 40 minutes. I thought that maybe this was a good sign because the food must be good. Wrong. Then we weren't even given a table inside the restaurant, we were placed at a table outside. Our waitress was great. That was about it. We had some drinks ( Old fashioned and a Cosmo :expensive and weak ) we had appetizers ( wedge salad and bacon ) that were so-so ( don't bother with the salad; the bacon is fatty ham ) The steaks : filet mignon and ribeye on the bone. Both steaks lacked any flavor ( especially the ribeye which is the most flavorful of steaks ) and I had to send one back because they overcooked it. Never had steak that bland ever and they charged 8 dollars for sauce on the side ( which couldn't save the bland steak ) We had creamed spinach ( tasted like artichoke dip ) and duck fat potatoes ( best thing we ate ) We go to steakhouse's all over ( especially NYC ) and this place was not even close in the quality of food to any of them. The waitress and Duck fat potatoes were the only positive's and that is not good when we went primarily for steak. Big disappointment.

Had a 6:30 reservation for two for dinner. The restaurant was very crowded and we were seated at a table right next to a booth which seemed like the seating was added as an after thought. After waiting for an hour with a glass of wine and bread, we asked the server to make our dinner to go as I think we were being more than patient. The manager came over to our table and he told us that they were extremely backed up in the kitchen. As a manager I believe he should have called in more staff if that was the case. He should have also come over after 30 minutes to tell us the kitchen was backed up. In the meantime, the table on our other side were served their appetizers while we waited. I should mention they were seated quite a time after we arrived. We will not be back.

I had a great experience at Vic and Anthony's. The service was top notch from the front desk to the server staff. The food was ooooh so good. My wife had the Wagyu filet and she stated that that was one of the best steaks she ever had. She said the flavors were on awesome. I had the veal chop Parmesan and I thought Buddy V's in Vegas was the best. But Vic and Anthony's was a little better. The dessert was a show, sorry I forgot the name of the dessert and it is no longer on the web menu. But if you ever been on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship that has wonderland restaurant they pour Carmel sauce over the chocolate globe and it melts to reveal the goodness inside this is that same dessert but only with better flavor. I loved Vic and Anthony's they are top notch. I steered some friends of mine away from B-Prime steak house at the Borgata to Vic and Anthony's because B-Prime was horrible. They said they had a great Neal there as well. I would recommend Vic and Anthony's to everyone in AC or Vegas both are good no they are Awwwwweeeaome.

Food is to die for. Happy hour is 4-7pm. Steaks are great. Try the thick cut bacon. Don't sleep on the croissant bread pudding. Service is great. It's quite elegant in the restaurant but there is no strict dress code.

Kristen was our server. Fantastic! And the food- one of the few places to still make a grilled veal chop. Out of this world!

Still amazing. Back again for our 10th wedding anniversary and still does NOT disappoint! Yanni was our host and was fantastic! Friendly and knew what he was talking about. Food, top notch. Steak, lamb chops, meatballs, salads. All excellent. And the dessert, *chef's kiss* Will continue to come back again, and again.

Steak was under-seasoned and charred too much. The cheese potatoes were by far the best thing on the menu

Old school steakhouse. Great wine list, although a bit pricey. We had a fantastic server who we enjoyed speaking with. She was helpful in the menu selections as this was our first time there.

Took 10 years to try this location again. 2015 was a long time ago. After this meal, I wished I would have visited again much sooner. Simply put, our experience this past weekend has gone over and beyond what was expected. Easily, Vic and Anthony's one of the best if not the best Steak House in Atlantic City. Yep, I couldn't believe it either, but it's true. The Appetizer of A Crab Cake was quite probably a top 3 Crab Cake. Full of fantastic Lump Crab, perfectly balanced and well seasoned. The Steak Tar Tare was the best rendition I have had the honor to eat. Different than other variations, maybe needing a heavier hand of seasoning, however this dish was memorable. Caesar Salad was a good example of this classic. Fresh ingredients, crisp lettuce and other level flavors. Entrees were expertly done, each with perfect cooks. Each Protein was big on flavor. The Filet cooked medium rare was succulent. The Bearnaise Sauce was exquisite with a delightful fresh taste adding to the steak experience. Sauce was light enough to let the Filet Shine. Lamb Chops were tender with the Medium Cook. Pan Seared Scallops were technically done well. Seared yet still fresh and moist. Service by Paulina was professional and sincere, really good! We will be back and this time it won't take 10 years to visit again.

Great food....surprisingly nice place considering its in a casino....nice romantic atmosphere. Steaks are cooked and seasoned perfectly in my opinion...our server Lisa was a real sweetheart.....but everyone is super friendly. Its just a real good time.

I came in for happy hour, first come first serve. I sat at an open table. Waited for 10 minutes before I asked someone for a menu. Hostess brought over a menu and asked him I had a server, a server came over took my order. Ordered appetizers, that came out cold, you know they were sitting when, the manager brings them out. Sent back the calamari, came back out disheveled, gross! I sent the other appetizers back, and do not want them warmed up! Horrible experience.

Favorite restaurant in Atlantic City. Everything is five stars !! Service great. Food amazing. Decor great. You'll never have a bad meal at Vic & Anthony's. I never have. Wonderful steakhouse.

We had two waiters who were very attentive and although it was a little bit of a wait for our drinks and appetizers they were still doing their best. We were a little upset that there was no bathroom we had to go two floors up because of renovations but again not their fault. My fiancé had a generous poor of Hennessy and I had an old fashion. He started with the shrimp cocktail and I had the Caesar salad, had the lamb chops and I had the 16 ounce lobster tail, for our sides we had mashed potatoes and broccoli rob which were both delicious.

Service was fantastic (Kathryn). Food was very good.Never felt rushed. The only issue was that it was LOUD. For some reason they have music playing over the speakers louder than needed. Just lower the volume a little!

Absolutely excellent. The food and the service were top notch. The oysters Rockefeller were fresh, tasty and delicious.

Heard great things about this place and decided to try it out. Way overpriced for the quality of the food. They said they are known for their lobster bisque. Worst lobster bisque I've ever had. It tasted almost burnt. We sent it back. Our friend who was with us got it as well. His was the same bowl of liquid filth. Got the fried lobster mac. The fried lobster was so overdone it tasted like bad chicken fingers. The mac and cheese was just ok. The service was poor at best. It took forever to get refills on our water. Getting the check and paying was another 20 minute wait. Our server vanished at one point so we had to find someone else to cash us out. This place is definitely NOT worth the hype and we won't be back. Don't waste your time and money. You'll get better food at a dive bar.

Liked it here! The restaurant is very pretty. They have an Austin hope Cabernet on the menu that is an absolute must try. I am a wine lover and it was phenomenal. Shrimp cocktail app was underwhelming- not bad but there are better options on the menu! The crab app was delicious and unique. Filet mignon was tender and delicious. Perfectly seasoned so you didn't need anything else with it. Mac and cheese was good but a little dry for my taste. Service was very good. Overall we really enjoyed our experience.

Steakhouse or Seafood were the choices for dinner. Steakhouse won! The restaurant is located inside of the Golden Nugget. We arrived maybe 15 minutes before our reservation and the hostess greeted and promptly seated us. Our table was in a perfect location and the ambiance was nice. Our server, Brandon, did an excellent job! He was very informative and took his time going over the menu and the specials in detail. You could tell he was very knowledgeable of the menu. For starters we ordered the Crab cake and the Oysters on the half shell. Both items hit the spot and did just what they were supposed to. For the main course we ordered Fried Lobster Mac & Cheese and the Filet Mignon with a side of creamed spinach. The Lobster Mac was delicious! It definitely was good first thing the next morning as well. The filet was good but I should've went with my gut and got the ribeye. The steak was still good just felt like it was cooked a tad past Medium. I still ate it all though lol. Here's the WOW moment for us. We noticed that it was taking a while to get our food, however, we were having such a good time that it didn't bother us. We loved the fact that they took accountability for the wait and genuinely apologized for it. When our did did arrive, the owner came over himself too apologize. He offered us a free round of drinks and free desserts as well as complimenting both of us. This was a great evening and I have no reason not to want to go back next time I'm in town.

Overall, another great steakhouse. It is located in the Golden Nugget casino (bonus: parking at the Golden Nugget is free!). The ambiance is swanky. Lively but still remains muted towards the back of the restaurant. I ordered the small filet mignon Oscar style, and my husband ordered the ribeye. Both steaks cooked to order. The creamed spinach was the best I ever had. The sides, for $16 each, were on the smaller end. Unfortunately, my biggest gripe was the fact that we had to wait close to 45 minutes to be sat- even with reservations made well in advance. This is likely due to a staffing shortage/post COVID. We will still be back, albeit with the earliest reservation possible.

Decided on Vic & Anthony's after coming to AC for many years and hadn't been here yet - located in the Golden Nugget. Glad we went but wouldn't go back. The calamari was supposed to have broccoli rabe which it lacked. Chopped salad was good. Bacon Mac & Cheese was nothing special. Wouldn't recommend the meatballs. Overall, everything was just fine.

My wife and I celebrated our 9 year Anniversary tonight and not only was the Ribeye Steak and Pork Chops cooked to perfection, we had an amazing server! Lisa did an amazing job and was super attentive. It was a great night out and we will definitely come back and request to be seated in Lisa's section! She's awesome make sure to ask for Lisa!!!

Birthday dinner ruined . First I ordered a Ceasar salad took them 30 minutes to bring that out . Secondly it seems they have an issue with getting steak cooked correctly I ordered medium well and steak was overcooked and rubbery , My server said they could make another and rush it and it came back out this time way undercooked . This whole experience left me hungry and stressed out . I ended up having to find another place to eat after very disappointment and don't recommend especially for the price point

Stellar steak meal! This meal was *almost perfect. Reservations needed! They will seat everyone when everyone is present. Service was impeccable and they kept refilling our waters. The executive seafood tower was amazing and worth it! The only imperfect aspect to the meal was that the king crab legs were overly salty. All appetizers were great - the thick cut bacon was out of this world. Caesar salad and meatballs were phenomenal. Lobster bisque was delicious. Tomahawk was great but maybe a bit fatty for my tastes. The porterhouse and ribeye were phenomenal. Sides were all amazing: mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, mushrooms, fries, mac and cheese with short rib on top. The cheesecake was - no joke - one of the top three slices of cheesecake I've ever had in my life.

This was an incredible dinner, conveniently in Golden Nugget where we were staying for the weekend! One of the best steaks I ever had and the port peppercorn sauce elevated it so much. My boyfriend and I shared the sides and both got the 6 oz steak. Service was great and overall very nice place for a fancy date night.

Service from Paulina was wonderful. We went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and I'm glad we spent it here. Ambiance is very nice and classy. Food was great. Fresh oysters. Great drinks. Foie gras salad was wonderful. The lobster bisque was a little disappointing since the alcohol wasn't cooked long enough. In my opinion, they need to amp up the "lobster" as it lacked flavor. Steaks were delicious and well-seasoned. Some of the desserts could use some improvement, but overall, it was a wonderful experience for us.

One of the restaurants that never let you down. In this hotel this is the highlight since the hotel is really not that great and lonely going down over the years. I didn't get a table just said by the bar and got the food quickly and the way I liked it. The fried calamari is a must but better than this is Demario not that it comes with. Steak was amazing and overall this is a place you just have to try if you're coming to Atlantic City. I heard they have another location in NYC that I'm going to try one day.

This used to be my favorite steakhouse in the neighborhood, but my last visit was disappointing. My wife and I went on New Year's Eve and started with the shrimp cocktail, which was decent, but the foie gras was a poor execution of the dish. For mains, we had the ribeye, which was overcooked and bland, and the "special" lobster and truffle risotto, which lacked both lobster and truffle entirely. The creamed spinach was essentially a green cheese-like clump with barely any spinach. While the service remained excellent as always, the food was a complete letdown.

A great great steakhouse. Came here for a friends birthday and every dish was excellent! The steak was perfectly cooked and the service was immaculate. If I'm ever in town again will definitely be back!
