18 Best Restaurants in Charlotte, North Carolina | Eater Carolinas

"Vicente is relatively newer to the city, but since its opening in May 2023, Charlotteans realized what they’d been missing: pretty, perched, delicately laminated pastries. The treats, like the dulce de leche croissant or pain au chocolate, are enveloped in an ultra-thin, buttered blanket that flakes and reveals a decadent filling inside. Many of the offerings have a South American flair, and while the sweet-tooth pastries are worth a morning wait, it’s the savory breakfast sandwiches on a dijonnaise-painted croissant that steal the show. It’s a walk-up, sit-down, casual cafe vibe in South End, and it’s just really good. Get an espresso to pair." - Kayleigh Ruller

11 Best Bakeries in Charlotte, North Carolina | Eater Carolinas

"Life and business partners Sam and Yerman Carrasquero opened a sunny, airy Southend bakery in summer 2023 with a variety of intricately laminated pastries, many of which celebrate Venezuelan (where Yerman is from) and Argentinian (where Sam and Yerman met) flavor with tactful technique. Vicente’s sticky-sweet, crispy on top, and soft inside dulce de leche croissant-esque pastry is a standout. Another staff favorite is a custardy pastry cream topped with cacao imported from Venezuela and fresh orange slices wrapped inside thinly, thinly multi-layered pastry dough. On weekends, try the Venezuelan sticky buns that go quickly, and be on the lookout for the soon-to-be patio and walk-up window." - Kayleigh Ruller

Google
This place has quickly turned into one of my top spots in Charlotte! It’s a relaxed café-style setting that offers an amazing range of pastries, sandwiches, and coffee choices. Everything I’ve tried so far has been fantastic — from the spinach and feta pastry to the tomato and goat cheese pastry, and of course, the chocolate croissant, which is perfectly crisp and rich. Each pastry has that golden, flaky texture that makes it hard to stop at just one. Located in the South End area, it’s super convenient to reach, even on foot or from the light rail. There aren’t many tables inside, so it’s a great idea to grab your coffee and treats to go if it’s busy. The staff here are always kind and attentive, eager to share their favorite picks and help you decide what to try next. Everything feels thoughtfully made, and the overall experience is delightful from start to finish. Absolutely a must-visit for anyone who loves fresh pastries, great coffee, and a friendly atmosphere!

Google
I will admit that I am not one to typically write reviews as it usually involves having to figure out my password and by then I lose motivation and stick to an occasional ❤️ or 🤤 or maybe a comment on instagram which is the only social media I have and I have it only to discover the next yummy food to enjoy. And Instagram is how I came to know and love Vicente. I can still remember the smell of their amazing croissants 🥐 when I first opened their door and knew how incredible they were going to be. Their breakfast croissant sandwich is huge and I usually split with a girlfriend so we can then also split a delicious pastry too! Their food is delicious and their people are sweet and kind. Unlike the people who decided to give them 1 star ⭐️ reviews because they sell out of their pastries since they are so delicious. And is why I decided to actually go to the effort to write a review today. Two… not just one person felt the need to take the time write a review and give 1 star saying that business is doing bad business simply because they sell out of a product before they managed to get there to buy any. One even stating that they came at 9, 11, & 12 and every time are sold out. Now personally if I went at those 3 times and they were already sold out, I’d set my alarm and try earlier next time. As a matter of fact, I know that Vicente opens at 7:30am, is closed on Mondays, and closes when they sell out. So when I have a Vicente craving I make sure I am there no later than 7:45am to get what I want or accept the consequences that what I want may be gone. Being mad at business for being sold out of a special is like walking into a bakery mid October and being mad that they no longer have the September donut of the month. Come on people do better! Be better! And for everyone else who already knows how good Vicente is, take the time to write a review and help raise Vicente star score back up from the 1 stars ⭐️ people who should be given themselves a 1 ⭐️ star!

Google
UPDATED FROM 5 TO 4 STARS: Vicente in Charlotte is a pastry lover’s dream. Their croissants are hands down the best I’ve ever had, flaky, buttery, and baked to perfection. Whether it’s the classic butter croissant, ham & cheese, or one of their creative seasonal flavors like chocolate pistachio or dulce de leche, they’re pure magic. The bakery blends Latin American and European influences, creating a menu that’s both unique and comforting. The staff are friendly, and the cozy vibes make it a great spot to start your day. However, they’re continuously sold out of key items, which means they’re not keeping enough stock to meet daily demand. It’s frustrating to arrive early and still miss out. That knocks it down a star, but the quality remains top-tier.

Google
I cannot recommend enough this place. It is by FAR and without a doubt the BEST bakery in Charlotte. Pastries are freshly baked and you can tell, they have great customer service and they are always coming up with new flavors and ideas (which is dangerous because there’s always something new to try). I love it and always find an excuse to go get their stuff. Just a heads up, go early cuz they are so good that they will ran out of goodies if you get there late!!!! I love you guys!

Toni W.

Google
Staff is always attentive. The food is always amazing! Fresh, hot and delicious. I remember my first time I showed up a little after 11 not knowing that breakfast had stopped and out of the kindness of her heart their chef made me a breakfast sandwich. I always make sure to get there before 11 now!

Karen F.

Google
By far the best croissants I have ever eaten in my life. All of the pastries are excellent. Advice - get there early because everybody in town also knows how good it is. 😂

Kendrick L.

Google
Tasty, fresh pastries! May be the best I’ve had in Charlotte. Would recommend coming by! Dulce de leche & almond croissant are my favorite!

Google
Great bakery. Pay to park due to being in the city there is a parking garage right before the bakery and then some parking around the corner if you turn right at the light. But a good bakery some empanadas and breakfast things to order. As well as baked goods, a lot of croissant style baked goods. Coffees and other drinks available as well.

Leah F.

Yelp
This place is outstanding. The breakfast sandwiches are so rich on the croissant (great on focaccia too!) and my go to drink is the dulce de leche w oat-milk. The baked goods are so well made and decadent yet flakey and soft.

Yelp
Craving a croissant? Vicente is the best I've had in CLT! I came in around 7:45am on a Thursday, and it wasn't busy at all. I've heard they can run out of their more popular items, so definitely recommend coming early on a weekday for your choice of their delish offerings. I was greeted warmly, perused the pastry counter, and order with the nice staff member there. To drink, I got a dulce de leche latte, which was comforting and well-balanced. The feta & spinach pastry is an incredible, savory option. Perfectly flaky with a great amount of filling. Absolutely loved it and highly recommend. My favorite sweet pastry was definitely the chocolate chip cookie croissant. The buttery, flaky croissant is filled with cookie dough and topped with a baked cookie and powdered sugar. Textures like woah!! It's so unique, rich, and indulgent. I was only able to eat about half in one go, which means a great snack for later! I also got an almond croissant, which had lots of almond paste filling. The monkey bread was very buttery and sticky with nuts on top. This was my least favorite of the bunch since it was simpler than the others, but it was still made very well. The space has lots of natural light and some seating options. Parking was available at visitor spots in the garage right next door. I'll definitely be waking up early on a weekday to come back and try more!

Yelp
The freshly made pastries are nothing short of amazing, each bite bursting with flavor and freshness. The coffee drinks are equally impressive, perfectly brewed and a great complement to the pastries. The staff here is incredibly friendly, making the visit even more enjoyable. They are attentive and welcoming, which adds to the overall positive atmosphere of the place. My only concern is the seating situation. While the interior is cozy and inviting, I do wish there were more seating options available. It can get a bit crowded, especially during peak times, which makes finding a spot a bit challenging.

Yelp
I passed by Vicente and was intrigued by the sign and decided to stop in on a whim. Oh I am so glad I did! It was just after noon and there weren't many goodies left -- just some financiers, cookies, and a few other items. I didn't know if it was worth getting anything since they were out of all my go-tos, but decided to get a chocolate chunk cookie ($4). I not expect much, but WOW it was one of the best cookies I've ever had...cripsy on the outside, soft on the inside, a perfect blend of chocolate, and just the right amount of sea salt. I have been talking about the cookie nonstop since my first bite. Next time I'm in Charlotte, I am coming straight here & can't wait to get more cookies and to try other items as well!

Yelp
I'm definitely in love with Vincente. Their breakfast sandwiches are awesome. I have brought about 4/5 of them for my friends to try. But I have to admit. It is frustrating to try to order in advance. Such as 15 to 20 mins in advance. Paid for it. And when you get there for pickup, Half of your order have been refunded because they ran out. Honestly I haven't been able to try much since they're alway sold out a lot of times that I have been there. But it's a must try bakery when you're in the area around 8am and want to try great goodies.

Yelp
Love Vicente, their rotating menu is always a surprise and their coffee is very tasty. Workers are kind and will explain their menu if needed. Space is clean and bright.
google avatar

Diana D.

Yelp
Still soooo delicious! Tried some more pastries today. The tomato and goat cheese, the croissant, and the pain au chocolate. They were all amazing but they only complaint I have is there was two little slivers of chocolate in the pain au chocolate. /: I was not expecting to like the tomato and goat cheese as much as I did. Something about the type of pastry dough that they used with that one. It was so crispy and all the little layers made it delicious. Yummm!!
google avatar

Morgan H.

Yelp
Get there early to try what they have available for the day. I met a friend around 12:30 at the bakery and many of the items we wanted to try weren't available. The space is great to work from and thankfully parking is available in the deck behind. The coffee menu is kind of small and basic as well as the bakery menu.

Yelp
Vicente Bakery & Bistro is one of my new favorite bakeries in town. It is a lovely and delicious option with a city-like vibe. Located in one of the coolest areas in Charlotte, NC (South Blvd.) with quite a few other stores within walking distance. If you are not familiar with the area, the GPS will take you straight to it. The menu offers beautiful looking and delicious pastries along with good coffee. The service is friendly and professional and will make you feel like home! My wife and I have come a couple of times, and we always go for lattes and at least two types of pastries, and we are never disappointed! Overall, 100% recommended!

Yelp
Vicente Bakery & Bistro I saw that this place opened up recently, and wanted to try it before I left Charolette-- very glad I did. Inside the store, everything looks so clean and the pastries are neatly laid out. I got the Breakfast Sando Croissant (8.15) which came with egg, dijonnaise and added egg (1) and bacon (2). It was amazing!!! The croissant itself was so fluffy and wow.. they stuffed so much bacon in it. My favorite part was the cheese and dijonnaise sauce. Neither too much nor too little, it was just right. Very satisfied with my last meal in Charolette. I anticipate will be very popular in the coming months

Yelp
OOO WEE this place is good! We stopped by early on a Sunday morning and the line was to the door. If that happens to you, don't worry because it moves FAST. The menu is kind of hard to read so we made our selections based on the beautiful display case right in front. The sun was shining on the pastries which made them just glisten and BEG to be eaten. So eat them, we did! Pastries vary from savory to sweet with some of the most delicious ingredient combinations. The spinach and feta looked incredible, but we chose the caprese, ham & cheese, and chocolate croissants. I absolute loved all the layers in the dough! Starting from crunchy to soft, the bite experience is incredible. This was our first visit to Vicente and definitely will not be our last!

Yelp
Been looking for a REAL bakery for ages but they usually disappoint...Vicente was a nice surprise though. A Venezuelan run bakery in south end, with breakfast and lunch options. They do close at 2pm though! We went on a Sunday mid morning, by which point they had already run out of a lot of items. But had some delicious things still to choose from. It was honestly hard to decide but we went with 2 things and he threw in one more as we were birthday celebrating ! The cruffin, pain au chocolat and caramel based pastry which was the dulce de leche. All 3 were amazingly delicious. Hard to choose a favorite. Pastry was lovely and flaky and the cream in the cruffin was scented with cappuccino. Nice touch. The dulce de leche was the same pastry as the cruffin but with a caramalized base of the dulce . All were so good and not too sweet. We ate about half of each as they are quite huge. But you do have to sample a few to get the true taste. Cappuccino was nice. Foamy even with almond milk. Good strong coffee. The americano was also good. Service was great and the owner who served us was super knowledgeable about everything he sells. Nice modern minimalist vibe in the store. Most people were getting to go but there is seating inside. Loved this bakery. So hard to find real made from scratch but not sugary tasting pastries these days. This place has definitely nailed that!

Yelp
Excellent baked goods prepared fresh daily. Had some croissant sandwiches that were exceptional.

Yelp
So lovely! Smells absolutely incredible the second you walk in. Pastries are incredibly flakey and delicious, the best I've ever had. Everything is so fresh. Employees are so kind and friendly, this is such an amazing breakfast place. You HAVE to get the dulce de leche pastry or the spinach&feta. Those are the BEST!!
google avatar

Carol R.

Yelp
Truly a hidden gem. I had the spinach and feta croissant pastry, and it was perfection. Buttery and flakey with the right amount of filling.
google avatar

Fifi C.

Yelp
I'm glad to have this bakery in town. I tired several of their pastries: almond croissants, raspberry croissants, chocolate croissants and ham and cheese croissants. The croissants are freshly baked, crunchy crust and soft/moist inside with perfect sweetness . My favorite is the Ham and Cheese croissant. I highly recommend this place to satisfy your craving for croissant in Charlotte
google avatar

Gabrielle Z.

Yelp
The best bakery outside of Europe. I promise you that's an absolute FACT! Let me tell you a secret about this bakery and bistro in South End: It's named after Vicente López St in Buenos Aires, Argentina where Chef Sam lived for some years and he imports ingredients straight from Argentina! On the menu you can find - drinks (such as espresso, lattes, and teas) - baked goods - viennoiserie - breakfast sammies and flatbreads His croissants are absolute heaven. And he makes them a special way, so that you get a super airy and buttery product. The menu is inspired by innovation, diversity, and artisanal handmade products with global influence -- most heavily by Latin America. While I am biased because Sam has become a dear friend of mine over the years, his pastries really do speak for themselves. I'm not the only Vicente addict in town, I can tell you that for certain! There aren't many tables inside, as it's intended to be more grab n go, but you can snag and open stool and devour right on the spot if it's not super crowded (which it's very busy during the weekend). Follow me on Instagram at @bigtastebestplace for more!

Trevi B.

Yelp
Visited here on my way to errands. Cute coffee shop. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant, almond croissant, and cold brew. The breakfast sandwich and the almond pastry were so good, really the almond croissant is one of the best I've ever had. However the cold brew was disappointing. It very weak and watery to be called cold brew which is generally pretty strong coffee. Wait time for to go was pretty decent. I'd recommend to try this bakery if you're in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Carlo Y.

Yelp
This place is awesome!!!! The croissant is flaky and tasted fantastic!!! This is probably the best croissant in Charlotte. The staff is awesome here, they are very engaging. I came in Saturday around 10:30am, they are busy and always have a line. The place is clean and has a great place for you to hang out. I just wish they have some outside seating. There is a tip for you, they only brake for the day, so if they sold out the item for the day, they are out!! So if you see something you want get it, if you thinking about getting it later they might be gone. I talked to the owner and asked about their Pastéis de Nata, Portuguese Egg Tarts, they only do it on the weekend. The Saturday that I went they didn't have any, because of that I will back for more!!! I will not stop coming until I try everything on the menu.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best croissant sandwich I've had in my entire life!!! It was to die for!
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
What a nice little place to stop for a croissant anyway you like it. There is street parking or parking garage in a convenient location. Service was organized and employees are were very friendly and helpful. The food and coffee was just what we needed. It was well presented and delicious.
google avatar

Rania C.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. The new cafe is our new favorite morning pastry shop and afternoon coffee. Every single item you order does not disappoint , there's plenty of options and the employees are so helpful. The first time we came we had only cash and the place is cashless.. they were so nice about it even offered we pay next time we come. Super convenient parking garage right next door with plenty of spots. Try the kouign Amann! It's a new favorite of mine .. have never tried it and absolutely fell in love once recommended by an employee.
google avatar

Christine T.

Yelp
Amazing croissant and it's huge. We got spinach and feta , croissant with egg ( yummilicious) , ham and egg which we ate right away. Took home dulce dulce de leche, kouighmann for later. Service amazing and don't be discourage about the long lines- it's pretty fast. We were given a pastel de nata for slight delay of the egg croissant - not their fault at all. Try them - definitely will be back for more when in town. To the owner and staff- thanks for working hard for making the smooth flow of customers and sharing your amazing pastries with the rest of us.

Nicole M.

Yelp
I got the breakfast sandwich with cheese on focaccia bread. Their focaccia is REALLY good. Banana bread is definitely a must. A lot better than your generic Starbucks
google avatar

Amy U.

Yelp
Nothing less than 5 stars for this absolutely fabulous bakery & cafe in Charlotte. Great location, with street parking which is pretty easy to find. Service is super friendly and helpful; simply order from behind the counter where all the gorgeous croissants, muffins and baked goods are displayed. You can tell they take pride in their product as everything they offer is perfection. We decided on splitting a coffee, breakfast sandwich and grabbing a few things to bring home to sample. Coffee was fresh and hot, the breakfast sandwich (egg, provolone, ham, dijonaise on a croissant) was seasoned perfectly and absolutely amazing! Decadent, yet light & delicate overall, it was a beautiful breakfast sandwich that hit the spot without being heavy and filling and they also offer one with bacon instead of ham. We brought home a chocolate croissant, plain croissant, French onion, spice cake and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was wonderful. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!
google avatar

Nirali M.

Yelp
Everything here is DELICIOUS, truly some of the best croissants I've ever had. All the other desserts are incredible too! The space is beautiful and the service is impeccable. I'm very indecisive and every time I've gone there, whoever is there has taken their time explaining all of the goodies to me. They sell out fast, so I highly recommend going on the earlier side. This place is located at the bottom of an apartment complex, and there is some street parking in front, as well as parking at the bottom of the parking garage of the apartment complex. Their coffee is very good too. The owners are two of the nicest people, and they've truly created such an amazing spot! Cannot recommend this place enough!
google avatar

Mikala Y.

Yelp
The food was absolutely spectacular. We had the blueberry muffin - divine. Blueberries were fresh, you can taste the hint of lemon for a vibrant fresh bite each time. Hubby bought a bacon egg and cheese croissant - chef's kiss. Tasted like breakfast in bed with a side of lattes that you would've sworn came out of a NEW YORK Caffé. Run don't walk here. The parking is horrible but something i will sacrifice to make my way here everyday if i could!
google avatar

Julia B.

Yelp
Vincente's was delicious! We both tried the bacon egg and cheese croissant and iced dulce de leche latte. These are the best croissants I've ever tried! They are huge and the sandwich was very filling. The latte was so good without being overly sweet. We will definitely be back!!
google avatar

K L.

Yelp
Closed at 12:45? Hours say open until 2pm. drove out of my way to try it but saw employees locking the door and putting up closed sign.
google avatar

Anna E.

Yelp
This is a treasure! I love a good croissant. This place did not disappoint. We ordered the chocolate croissant as well as ham cheese. Then those were so good we ordered the almond croissant and cheesecake to go. Can't wait to try them!!

William A.

Yelp
Hands down the best bakery in Charlotte, and perhaps the South. Super friendly staff who are always willing to give recommendations. The menu is constantly changing so no visit is the same. Cute interior, but seating fills up fast so try to get there early on the weekends. Cannot recommend Vicente enough!!!

Aaron G.

Yelp
My wife and I walked down for coffee and too many pastries this past weekend. #1: The pastries are beautiful and super tasty. We had a pain-au-chocolat, a regular croissant and a blueberry danish. All were spectacular. #2: The croissant sandwich with scrambled egg and bacon was perfect. #3: My simple black drip coffee was wonderful. I'm going to ask about where they get their beans. It was dark, bitter and still a bit sweet. Very nice cup of coffee. #4: Service was super speedy and they were moving through a good line of people.
google avatar

Tammy T.

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance, to be honest.. everything was incredible. The owners were so nice. We basically got one of each pastry item and loved it all. We're even coming back for a croissant catering order soon!

Romelyn D.

Yelp
Best croissants I've had in Charlotte. The Dulce de Leche Croissant is so so good I've never had anything like it. Coffee is hit or miss. The first time I had an iced latte it was perfect. Every visit after that I've been disappointed in the coffee.
google avatar

Ender Y.

Yelp
WOW. WOW. WOW. I am literally still sitting inside Vicente while writing this. The pastries here are phenomenal!!! I got their croissant, chocolate croissant, dulce de leche croissant, kouign amann, and gluten free almond cake! And I was blown away by the quality of EVERYTHING. My croissant was flaky, chewy, and HUGE. The dulce de leche croissant was just the right amount of sweet and had this amazing crunchy top. The gluten free almond cake was SO moist and light. And it even had the most delicious cream topping! Honestly, I am still in shock that Vicente apparently opened in APRIL, and that I only just visited them. I cannot wait to come back and try out their more savory pastries. Some other important notes: the prices here are reasonable and so fair (considering the quality and portion size), the service is beyond superb (as everyone is extremely friendly), and lastly, the store itself is beautiful (lots of seating, a tiny little market of fun goods like dried pasta and honey, a VERY clean bathroom with the coolest sink). Overall, Vicente is a SOLID FIVE STARS. Hope you guys like them as much as I did/do. :)

Rubisel M.

Yelp
BAKE MORE PASTRIES! They always run out of pasties buy 10-11am. But they are open till 2pm?
google avatar

Meredith K.

Yelp
I recently dined at Vicente's for the first time last week. I tried the chocolate filled pastry, tomato and feta, as well as the strawberry crème. I enjoyed all of the pastries, but the strawberry pastry was hands down my favorite. The flavor was great and the dough was fresh. I do wish the chocolate pastry would have more filling on the inside. I also tried an iced vanilla latte which I didn't love but honestly didn't care because I came for the pastries. Service was great and the ambiance was nice inside. You could definitely work from home in this environment. I do think the pastries are a little expensive for the size of them, but that's the new norm in Charlotte. I will be back to visit soon.
google avatar

Rachel F.

Yelp
The croissants are pretty delicious. Got the Almond and the chocolate to go, and they were more than enough to split between two people. Welcome to South End. Glad to see a quality breakfast/treat place open.
google avatar

Maddie R.

Yelp
This is such a cute new spot in south end! I have stopped by twice now on the way to work for coffee. I ordered an iced dirty chai both time and it was so good. The cashier that took my order was super friendly both visits and made sure that my orders were correct before placing them. I also noticed how the barista was friendly and wanted to make sure that my coffee was acceptable before I left. One time I ordered a pastry to take with me and it was so fresh. I would definitely stop by again soon for a coffee break or treat!
google avatar

Dustin H.

Yelp
The food was amazing. As soon as you walk in, it smells like a french bakery. The owner was so appreciative and gave you undivided attention throughout the service provided. The barista girls made us the best caramel iced lattes we have had in Charlotte! Thank you so much and I definitely will be back,
google avatar

Beth B.

Yelp
Super clean, the pain au chocolat croissant was amazing and the coffee was pretty good as well. Quick service and priced right. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

S L.

Yelp
The food is perfection! The coffee is hot and strong and also delicious. I would come every single day if I lived here. Beautiful kitchen and great staff!

Michelle V.

Yelp
We went in for the first time and the short, black hair, employee was extremely rude to me; She rushed me and said they didn't have the breakfast sandwich when my friend had just ordered it. I wasn't even done with my order when she started making me pay. The food was good but that employee was really rude.
google avatar

Edward F.

Yelp
Good food, nice service, and ambiance. It's a good choice if you are into baked goods
google avatar

Erin K.

Yelp
Went this morning with my friend to get a to-go coffee and a pastry! We both got the ham & cheese croissant and it was so good! I definitely want to go back and try their other pastries (they look so good). The coffee was okay, I got an iced dulce de leche latte & my friend got an iced vanilla latte. Mine was better than hers (she had way too much syrup in hers). Staff was very friendly and fast. I noticed that the hours on their door are different than the hours on Apple maps (what I saw when I looked up how far of a walk it was) -- so make sure you check their Instagram to know what's accurate! There's a few places to sit if you wanted to come and work, but I think overall it's kinda small and might be a little cramped. Probably a good option for someone who lives super close & can leave when they want!! I'll be back for pastries, but might not get coffee from here again.
google avatar

Jenny Z.

Yelp
WOW. Stopped by here this morning for a Sunday morning pastry and coffee with my family. I saw the high rating and reviews and this place did not disappoint. We ordered a yuzu croissant, kouign-amann, ham and cheese croissant, and two cold brews. The yuzu crossaint filled with cream blew my mind. It was DELICIOUS. The decor was welcoming and modern with all pastors displayed for you to see. I will definitely be back for pastries and friendly service.
google avatar

Bailey D.

Yelp
Met Sam today!!! Stopped in on the way home from a workout and had the best conversation and learned some history too! He and his husband just opened Vicente and you can smell it from down the street. Amazing coffee and amazing food. 12/10 will be coming here regularly!!! Best customer service I've had around here in a while

Laura A.

Yelp
I have been coming in for the past 3 Sundays. I am not able to stop earlier so I come in around 11am,12pm. They are always out of all their pasties by that time! If this place is open till 2pm, why can't they bake more pasties for people to buy?! Makes no sense! If you always run out by 12pm, than bake more

Lindsey W.

Yelp
Friendly service, high quality croissant, and great flavor. This will be one of my new breakfast and coffee spots in Southend.

Yelp
This place is so delish, everything made fresh you can smell the bakery in the morning. It's so amazing and large portions, cause if you are paying for a croissant you want a croissant! My only quip is it's a hit noisy because of the blvd. I say grab a box and take to go.
