Google
Undeniably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had - and breakfast is my favorite. Vicious Biscuit was so delicious we went back twice! Everything is worth trying - the options they have for spreads and jams are heaven and the staff was so kind and fun. When we showed up there was a line but it was well worth the wait and moved quick. Seating indoor and outdoors were spacious and enjoyable. Cannot say enough great things - love love love!

Google
Delicious - I'm glad we got in when we did. By the time we ordered, the line was out the door! It would've been well worth the wait. I got the Vicious Biscuit and a side of grits. So good and filling! The honey on the biscuit was a little overpowering, I might forgo that next time, but overall a great breakfast and we would go back again

Google
Fantastic! First time here with family visiting and we all loved it. Everything was so tasty. We all cleaned up our plates! The Manager Kyle came around and spoke with us. Very nice. Will definitely visit again. Worth stopping in!

Google
The food and drinks are phenomenal here!! We had The Animal Farm, Nashville Hot Chicken, The Vicious breakfast sandwiches and a plain biscuit. The biscuits are big and very tasty. The Orange juice is freshly squeezed!! Who does that anymore?! The Vicious Biscuit does, that's who!!! You can get the Caffe Latte iced or hot, with or without a flavor shot. They also have other drinks, alcoholic and non, plus Chocolate Milk. They have different kinds of homemade butters, like Sweet Potato butter, Maple Bourbon Butter, and homemade jams. All of their food and drinks are homemade, incredible! This place is an absolute must!!!! They also sell bandanas and tshirts. I'd give it 10 stars if they had that high of a rating!

Google
Fat boy and flamethrower both amazing. Flamethrower had spice but not overpowering. The jams were very good too. I got an extra tender on the side as well. Biscuits were light and airy. Fantastic food. The staff were very very nice too

Google
This was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Broke my own rule and went back twice in a four day trip. Great biscuit based breakfast and good coffee. Will check out again next time I am in the area.

Google
Oh man, this place gets Busy! But man, is it worth i! Biscuit was very warm and buttery! It was hyped as a great biscuit, and they were right! Visiting Charleston for the day, and will definitely be coming back, now knowing there is a Charlotte location too! Love this place! Also chicken was so juicy and tender, really was a great experience!

Google
Upon searching for “the best breakfast in MT. Pleasant “ it sure did meet my expectations. The food was delicious. I ordered the Huevos Ranchero. I loved their logo on their coffee mugs so I bought two. Thank to Jessie and the staff.

Yelp
quite literally out go do every weekend and some weekday mornings. It is a good sized space where you order at the counter and get a number. While it does move fast, consider ordering online and picking it up then sitting outside especially if you have a large group lots of options from crazy to a simple biscuit. also has a "butter & jelly bar" with side cups to try them all and take some on the go. we love this place and hope you do too!

Nick C.

Yelp
"The Vicious" had a massive sized biscuit that was buttery and savory. The sausage gravy it was smothered in was good, but the piece of the chicken was nonexistent. I was served a tiny piece. $12 would've been a very good value if the size of the chicken was somewhat decent. However, it was so cool that they gave a little bar with a variety of butters, sauces another cool condiments you can put on your food. I especially love the apple butter and maple butter. The staff was also very friendly .

Yelp
This is one of those places that needs 10+ stars as an option. I cannot recommend it enough. It has to be the best biscuit to ever grace my taste buds. Seriously! But not only that, Kyle, the manager on duty, was the nicest person I've ever met at a restaurant. And he was genuine, too. He immediately introduced himself and checked on us the entire time, ensuring that we were having a good experience. I also saw him literally on his hands and knees, trying to fix a table. Just a really hard worker with the best personality! Okay so the biscuit (I had The Vicious) - I need another right now. And tomorrow. And the next day. It is sooo good. Huge! I could barely eat half. The biscuit is unlike anything I've had in the biscuit world. And the crispy chicken nestled under that creamy gravy, accompanied by those diced jalapeños. To die for. The restaurant is medium size but lots of places to sit. There's also a jam and butter bar by the drinks with unique butter and jam combos. Try one of everything! I can't wait to go back. I'd make a special trip if even just in the state honestly for this place. Go go go!

Yelp
Vicious Biscuit is a must-visit in Mount Pleasant, SC! Get in early because this spot is wildly popular, and seating is limited. The process is smooth--order at the counter, and the friendly staff bring your food to you. The atmosphere is welcoming and upbeat, making it a perfect breakfast or brunch destination. The Virgin Bloody Mary had excellent flavoring with a perfectly balanced spice level, though the garnishes weren't my favorite. The Vicious biscuit was an explosion of flavor, seamlessly combining sweet and savory notes. If you're into spice, The Flame Thrower lives up to its name--definitely not for the faint of heart! Amazing food, great service, and a vibrant setting--I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Great breakfast or brunch spot in Charleston! And you could tell everyone else thought so too based on how packed it was on Labor Day around 11am. The parking situation is not ideal because of the small lot, but after circling a few times, we snagged a spot. The line was out the door hit honestly moved pretty fast to order, but the real waiting began after you sat down. I loved all the different butters and jams you could pick out yourself while you waited. It was hectic in there as the workers ran around getting orders out as quick as they could! About 30-40 mins after ordering, we got our food - I tried the Sea Biscuit ($12) because it sounded kinda unique with fried shrimp, and it was delicious! And of course, the biscuit was awesome! Wish I got an extra plain one on the side to nibble on. My boyfriend had the Silence of the Hams ($10) and also really enjoyed it. Their Breakfast Potatoes ($3) were perfect too. Great place for a casual breakfast and would come back!

Cheryl G.

Yelp
Get there early. It gets crowded quick. We got there on a weekday at 10:00 and you guessed it-Crowd Central. . Great place for a meet up with family. Step up to the counter and place your order for some YUMMY breakfast eats. Awesome FIXIN' bar full of goodness jelly and jams to slather loveingly all over your biscuits or pancakes. Loved the Bloody Mary and Creamiest EVER GRITS-YUMZ. Inside and outside seating. Parking is available but limited so circle those wagons and don't give up & fills up. So worth it. Do yourself a favor and enjoy food and family visits.

Gabriel M.

Yelp
I am still dreaming about "The Vicious". Your life will not be complete until you try it. Absolutely delicious. If you go at peak breakfast hours there will probably be a line and might be hard to get a table. Staff are all super nice though and it is more than worth the wait. Don't miss out

Andrea S.

Yelp
I would give this place 6 stars if I could! The line moves very quickly, so don't be discouraged if it's out the door. The staff is very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. Everyone was making yummy noises while they eat. The fresh squeezed orange juice was out of this world delicious everyone tried it and loved it. The flame thrower was the star of the show. Everything was delicious and loved there jam and butter bar. Would recommend anyone in the area. This is a must stop!

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
The beignets were extraordinarily delicious and served as the ideal dessert. The surprise element of strawberry jam hidden under the fresh whipped cream was a delightful touch and complemented the dish wonderfully. Cinnamon cream cheese-filled pastries, strawberry jam, whipped cream, fresh cut strawberries, maple syrup drizzle, and powdered sugar. The only ingredient I could do without would be the cinnamon. Unapologetically indulgent! Cute place with friendly service!

Scott P.

Yelp
The biscuit selection is phenomenal and they are large and prepared with care. This is a fast casual so you order at the counter and they bring it out. The service was quick, the food hot and the prices were in line with the quality. Definitely worth the stop .

Kai E.

Yelp
While in search of a good brunch spot while in Charleston, I ran across Vicious Biscuit on Yelp. The Mount Pleasant location was closest to our hotel, so we chose to go . When we arrived on a Saturday around 12 noon, the line was out the door and all the way down to the end of the parking lot. We hesitated at first since it was 100 degrees outside and figured we would be waiting for a while, but then I figured the food must be amazing if so many people were willing to wait in line outside on a day that hot. The line actually moved quickly. Seating is first come, first serve both inside and outside, but you have to order first and have a number for your table before securing a seat inside the restaurant. By the time we arrived at the counter, we narrowed down what we wanted to order. We ordered the Crab Benny, Sea Biscuit, grits, fresh fruit, The Sweet Puppies, and fresh squeezed orange juice. There is a fixins bar which has sauces and a variety of butters which we tried several and all we enjoyed. When I say everything we had was delicious, it is an understatement. I am not even a fan of biscuits, but was taken back by how flavorful both of our meals were. The Sweet Puppies were soooo good, and since they are made of sweet potatoes, I felt a tad less guilty for totally blowing my diet during our visit. To top off our five-star brunch, the service was excellent. All the staff made sure that the guests were satisfied, we were even given great advice on places to visit during our stay in Charleston. Hopefully, they will open a Vicious Biscuit in Georgia so I won't have to travel long distance to try it again.

Alyssa P.

Yelp
So yummy!! Giant delicious biscuits! We love the shrimp & grits and the Cubano. The beignets are also outstanding! We especially love the "Body by biscuit" hats and shirt's. Come early on the weekends. The line starts around 10a but moves quickly.

Shirl S.

Yelp
We rushed in right before closing and were still greeted with a warm and welcoming smile! The food was amazing and the team was equally amazing! Darienne at the counter and Kyle, Aiden , Colby are the best! I live 3000 miles away, but next time I'm here, I will make it a priority to return!

Emma P.

Yelp
If you come on the weekend there is probably going to be a line, but don't let that detour you. Not only is this place well worth the wait but they are a well oiled machine and they move people through quickly. The team there is all amazing. The manager was out walking around checking on people, the bartender was hustling hard and everyone was doing it with a smile. It's a very welcoming environment. They ask that you order before you sit so you're not holding a table from someone who has already ordered. I appreciate this a lot and for the most part people respect the rule. The food is so good! I got the vicious and the chicken was perfect and tender and the gravy was delicious and I love cowboy candy (which is candied jalapeños). I also got the beignets and the cinnamon cream cheese filling was delectable. Absolutely love this place, will be back!

Mike W.

Yelp
For a chain biscuit spot this place rocks. Delicious southern food on biscuits.....what's not to love? Nothing fancy, just Great eats at a great value. Go here!

Kayla M.

Yelp
There is no need to keep searching for breakfast spots, just come here! A friend referred us to this place, and she did not let us down. This place reminds me of Maple Street Biscuit but 10x better. Its busy the entire time it's open but well worth any wait. We had the Chicken Bacon Ranch, the Fat Boy, Nashville Hot Chicken and the Vicious Beignets. When I say these were the best biscuits I have ever had, there is no exaggeration there. The only thing I was not wild about was the Vmosa, simply because I don't like cranberry juice. So just personal preference there. Staff were very friendly and full of smiles even with all the traffic going on. I would give this place more stars if possible!

Shanell H.

Yelp
Usually we go to the Vicious Biscuits located in Summerville but the Coleman location was closer to our hotel.... The food is always great at any location we go but the dine in experience here at this location was a way to inconvenient and very unorganized. Free-flow seating is annoying. People showed up holding tables while those of us who placed dine in orders had no where to sit... ice machine out of order... no coffee but it was brewed once we requested it. They did clean off tables once unoccupied so thumbs up for that! Back to the food!!! It was great!

Austin P.

Yelp
First time at this franchise and really enjoyed the vibe of it. Order at the counter, type of breakfast spot. Friendly staff, quick turnaround on the food. Delicious iced coffee and fresh orange juice. Ordered the pimento cheese biscuit and thought it was solid. If you are looking for a quick bite, good spot to go! However it is a franchise and you can feel it.

Jennifer O.

Yelp
The food at vicious biscuit was insanely good. I ordered the shrimp and grits not thinking it would be all that great given that this place is a little fast foodie. But I was so wrong! these shrimp and grits were some of the best I've ever had. I had to get a biscuit as well and it was a high-quality biscuit. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Pam H.

Yelp
Second time here - food is so good! We got here around 1:00 which seemed to be perfect timing as lots of tables were opening up. Everything we had was great. Bacon jam and pimiento cheese with the fried green tomatoes tasty and different from others we've had. The hollandaise sauce on the Benny's is really good- light and lemony. Really can't go wrong here for a hearty and delicious breakfast/brunch/lunch.

Cameron C.

Yelp
Absolutely awesome food and staff! The French toast a chicken biscuits are simply awesome.

Chris W.

Yelp
Great breakfast joint. Quick service. Quality food. Definitely recommend if you're looking for biscuits and/or grits with unique twists. Ambiance is casual.

Denae K.

Yelp
1000% WOW!!! This place absolutely blew my mind!! We went back 2 days in a row and everything was epic both times. The staff was friendly, welcoming, helpful, and patient. We had never been there before so I asked a few questions. The food...OMG the FOOD!!!! I'm so glad I don't live close to here or I would drop in every day. In our 2 visits we ordered: - The Viscious - Nashville Hot Chicken - The Bird and Belgian I got the hot honey drizzle as a side and put it over the Viscious and the Bird & Belgian. The meals alone were amazing, but with the hot honey drizzle it went to the next level!! Highly recommend this place!!!

Aaron G.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Service with a smile. We'll be coming back when in the area. Had the signature Viscous.

BurgerSnob E.

Yelp
Had the shrimp and grits biscuit with a side of candied bacon. Enjoyed it. I would not recommend the beignets. Good food. Good service. Good ambience just a good experience. Will return.

Maria S.

Yelp
Been here a few times. Good choices for GF fare. Coffee is fresh and strong. Not too expensive but there is a bit of a wait. Food is well presented but could be a bit warmer.

Toyosi O.

Yelp
One of the first things that I will mention is the staff. They were all so kind and polite, they sort of reminded me of the kindness of chick-fil-a employees. The food was extremely filling and yummy.

Tony M.

Yelp
Biscuits are always wonderful. Service was excellent, prices kinda high yet they're high everywhere.

Hiram M.

Yelp
Always a family favorite! Everyone who has come to Charleston to visit us has been introduced to the VICIOUS, and it's always the same result: this food is awesome! Of course, we don't need an excuse to be here. It could be Wednesday or Sunday, and the cravings will be satisfied.

Sonia C.

Yelp
The BEST biscuits and food! We enjoyed mimosas, coffee and tasty food! When we arrived, there was a line but it moved quickly! Worth the wait!

Jay S.

Yelp
As the name implies, their menu is "Biscuit" centric. Think of all the sandwiches you've had in your life and replace the rolls with biscuits. The advantage of this approach is you get a better percentage of ingredients to bread. I had their Cubano biscuit. Pork, ham, mustard, pickles and cheese. It was tasty. I felt the sandwich was a little heavier on the ham Vs pork. A higher ratio of pulled pork would have made it a better biscuit. Still damn tasty and I would order it again. My wife ordered the crab benny biscuit. It was terrific. A small complaint that they do served her the wrong sandwich but did correct it quickly. There are long lines to get into the place. I understand that it's a popular restaurant, but in my opinion, There's no excuse for there to be three registers open, but only one person manning it at the same time I can see a number of people just standing around talking to each other . They need to work on that.

David H.

Yelp
Amazing biscuits. Butter bar. Solid menu. Wish I had more than one meal here when I visited recently. It's not downtown but definitely worth a detour. The biscuits are fresh, buttery, fall apart, delicious. I had the biscuit with fried chicken, pimiento and hot honey - the chicken was great quality, the pimiento was bomb, could really taste the onion and pepper, and who doesn't love hot honey. Also got an order of the jalapeno cheddar hush puppies which were wonderful, crispy, soft on the inside, and tasty with the remoulade (but also with apple pie butter and other butters!!). There was a line even early, but it moved quickly. Order ahead if you want to skip the line, lots of seating inside and out.

Courtney L.

Yelp
This was my second time here and it was just as good as I remembered! You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. The woman that took our order was patient and helpful with all our questions. I got scrambled eggs with cheese and. Buttermilk biscuit. The biscuits are the best I've ever had! My group shared the fried green tomatoes and we all loved them. The breading was thick and crunchy and the slices were a good size. I also loved the pimento cheese that came with them. The self serve butter and jam bar is also a nice touch. They make them there and have so many options.I hate it when places limit you on how many you can have.

Sammie C.

Yelp
Spent a week in the south and this was hands down the best breakfast in three states and it wasn't close. The biscuits are a different level good. Can't even describe them, but they absolutely melt in your mouth. We aren't usually the types to wait in long lines for food, but I would wait in line for an hour to eat here. The line on a Sunday morning was about 12-15 people long, but it moved very fast. Only waited about 15 minutes to order (walk-up ordering). Oddly enough, there still was seating available. Had The Vicious and Nashville Hot Chicken, side of gravy, fruit and mimosas. The food was so good that it was the food highlight of the trip. This place has ruined biscuits for us now. Every other biscuit from here on is just not great. I don't know how they make the biscuits, but they have perfected it. Make this the only place you eat if you only have time for one restaurant.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Absolute must if you're in the Charleston area! My favorite was the sweet potato waffle! The food was fresh and tasted as good as it looked! Don't let the long lines deter you, they move quick and the service is awesome!

Susie H.

Yelp
Don't sleep on this place! Literally if you get a late start, you might not get a table. We came about 8:45am on a Sunday and it was basically empty. By 9am the line was almost out the door. It's a order at the counter style but the staff was really friendly. The Belgian waffle was huge. Huevos rancheros were good. Wish I had gotten a biscuit by its self though. The hot hot chicken came in a really good biscuit (and was really spicy).

Saylor D.

Yelp
Delicious Brunch Spot! Will definitely visit again! Service was good and plenty of seating available.

Heather C.

Yelp
I ordered to go. I picked up and decided to eat in my car. When I opened the container, the sandwich was visually stunning (hence the reason for 2 stars). BUT, when I took a bite, it was ICE cold! Looks were definitely deceiving; and it literally only took me 1 minute from the time I was handed my order to the time I sat and attempted to eat the biscuit to discover that I had been had. COLD FOOD via takeout! But for the fact I was pressed for time (the restaurant was super busy on a (late) Friday morning), I would have gone back in to complain. If you look closely enough the white stuff is actually cheese. It is hard and cold at the time of the picture. I was actually confused as to what it was until I tasted it and was surprised that it was ICE cold (which of course means that the chicken wasn't warm otherwise it would have at least somewhat melted the cheese). I guess they were banking on the fact that I would eat it off-site, so by the time I got to my destination I would have been none the wiser to know that the food was cold from the start.

Kimberly B.

Yelp
Delicious food & great Bloody Mary's! I had eggs with turkey sausage and potatoes. My husband got the spicy chicken biscuit. The grits are amazing!

Annette J.

Yelp
Stayed a few blocks from here on vacation and grabbed a quick brunch during our lovely time in Mt. Pleasant. I have a hard time not ordering a benedict when I see it on the menu and this visit was no different. The only change is that it's served on perfectly fluffy, delicious biscuits instead of an english muffin! The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise was rich and had a nice lemony zing. My husband and I also split an order of their beignets which were stuffed with cinnamon cream cheese served with strawberry jam and whipped cream for dipping. It's four pieces so it was perfect for two people to split. We came later in the afternoon mid-week so we were the only ones in the whole joint. It's fast casual so we were able to go in and out pretty quickly to continue our day at the beach. If you're looking for a quick but delicious morning or afternoon bite, this is the spot for you!

Phil B.

Yelp
This was my first time here, so I had to try everything and I was not disappointed!!! I wish I had more room in my stomach to try more. If you're ever in Charleston SC, this is a must try breakfast spot!!! They were fast, the food was stellar, place was clean and aesthetically pleasing!

Heather C.

Yelp
We have driven past this place many times but never stopped because it was so busy with a line wrapped around the place. I will say it's a small place and you need to expect to wait an most likely outside...but it's worth it! The biscuits are huge and they have a variety of biscuit sandwiches, which everyone should be able to find something they like. And if not they have some breakfast platters where you can choose what you want. Or you can just get biscuits. And don't sleep on the sweet puppies (sweet dessert hush puppies)..they are so good!! They also have a butter/condiment bar that has honey butter, cinnamon butter, bourbon butter.... This picture is the Fat Boy biscuit which is fried chicken, pimento cheese, and hot honey....so good

Pete L.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!! Best biscuits we have ever had! I had the Mater and my wife had the Hen Solo. Good coffee and the best Orange juice(freshly squeezed). We will be back on our next trip to the area!

Rob R.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this place. I was back to visit family in South Carolina and this place was down the street from the beach house we were staying in. My uncle was too old to make the drive so I picked up a huge order to go. First off. As you can see from the pictures... there is usually a line. It was literally out the door. I got lucky and caught it at door length so I didn't have to wait outside. The line moved fairly fast, and then I saw this menu. We tried several things here, ranging from biscuits and gravy, the Vicious biscuit, and the shrimp and grits biscuit (thats what I had) When you order to go they keep everything separate so it doesn't get soggy on the drive back. I will say that in looking at the food I wish we could have eaten there. The shrimp and grits were some of the best I have ever had, and the biscuit was amazing. Fluffy, crispy outside and flaky warm inside. I also got to try their homemade jams. I especially like the two spicy jellies. I will come back to this place next time I'm near Charleston! You should give it a try.

Leroi E.

Yelp
Such a great place. I've tried half the menu and it's all delicious! Definitely gotta try the mimosas if you're of age. There's usually a line when I go but it moves fast enough.

Bob A.

Yelp
Wife and I were visiting the area over the weekend and foundd this gem in Mt. Pleasant not far from our hotel. Food was good, not sure it was great (my mom and grand mother made absolutely awsome biscuit). We order the Fat Boy (love pimento cheese) and The Animal Farm (not a fan of the bacon), both were good and would order the Fat Boy again. If you come on the weekend, be prepared to wait, however the line moved quick and we had no probably finding a table after we ordered. It's certainly worth trying out and I would visit again.

Hoang-Mai D.

Yelp
The food is great but I'm afraid to even know how much calories of fat i just took after I ate the delicious egg Benedict The amount of fat in the biscuits then in the sauce plus the eggs must added to be 800 calories ‍‍Not use to take that much for lunch

Chelsea R.

Yelp
This spot was recommended to me because they have GF biscuits. One thing I miss is a good ole' biscuit since cutting out gluten. My fav thing about this spot is I was able to have a healthy 'keto bowl' and I added grits and a gf biscuit to make it a full and balanced meal. The grits were absolutely incredible too! They had a butter and jam bar which was everything you would ever want. They apple pie jam was my all time favorite!

Nadya L.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised! Visiting from California, this place did not disappoint. Got the Shrimp and Grits - very good taste and great portion. The vibe of the restaurant is so cozy and really makes you feel at home.
