Vicky’s Bakery is our go to spot for coffee and one of those places that truly feels like home. It is walking distance for us, which makes it even better, but what really keeps us coming back is the personal service and welcoming energy. Every visit feels familiar and genuine. For the holidays, we always order catering from here because the quality is consistently homemade and dependable. It is the kind of food you feel good serving to family and guests. On the bakery side, not all Cuban bakeries are created equal, and this one stands out. Our usual order is a cafe con leche and a colada for a perfect breakfast pick me up. Every now and then we treat ourselves to a guava pastelito or a croqueta, and both taste incredibly fresh and homemade. We visit throughout the year, and their points system is amazing. We usually save those rewards for catering orders, which makes an already great experience even better. The place is always fast, friendly, super clean, and consistently delivers. This spot is definitely abuelita approved. We love it here and highly recommend it.

Google
Being Cuban, I was so excited to run into a nice Cuban bakery while in West Broward. The place looked nice and clean. When I stepped up to the counter to order, I asked for a pastelito de queso and a cafecito. The attendant, then proceeded to ask me what size of cafecito I wanted. Clearly Latina and working at a Cuban bakery, I looked at her and told her… there’s only one size for this. She pointed at the sample cups next to the register… four sizes in all… and told me to pick a size. I told her that the name itself implies what size it is. It’s not a cortadito, not a cafe con leche, not an americano. The attendant continued to argue with me about it until I pointed at the smallest cup 🤦🏻‍♀️ The pastelito was wayyyy too sweet (even by our Cuban standard) and the arguing ensured I won’t be visiting again. PS-It had zero espumita as well 🫤

Google
I love the empanadas and pastelitos they are always fresh and hot. This place is always busy but fast

Natalia M.

Google
The pastelitos, the pandebono, the empanadas are all 10/10. The staff was so nice.

Google
Vicky Bakery offers comforting and affordable food, snacks, pastries and treats sure to satisfy anyone. They have a good variety of filling sandwiches and desserts. My favorite things on the menu are the empanadas & croquetas.

Google
☕️ Checking out Vicky Bakery in Davie, where consistency is the name of the game. The coffee and breakfast offerings are always the same. With a good amount of seating indoors and outdoors, it's a comfy spot. The service, while okay, doesn't overshadow the overall positive experience. Kudos for always having decaf available! Plus, it's more budget-friendly than most cafes.

Ricardo C.

Google
Vicky Bakery never disappoints! Everything I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The pastelitos were perfectly flaky and filled generously definitely a must-try! The croquetas were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, just the way they should be. I also ordered a custom cake, and not only did it look beautiful, but it tasted amazing too. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend for authentic Cuban baked goods and a great overall experience! LISSETT CON EL MEJOR CAFEE!

Desiree D.

Google
Great food and customer service especially from Loidys! Definitely recommend trying.

Yelp
This is a great place for coffee, a delicious breakfast, or fresh pastries. I love the Hispanic ambiance -- it gives the place a warm, welcoming vibe that feels like home. It's a perfect spot to meet up with friends, enjoy a coffee, and just relax. Whether you're starting your day or taking a break, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend

Yelp
Hands down my favorite eating experience during my South Florida vacation. Came in for some classic Caribbean pastries and ended up eating full meals + pastries. This Media Noche sandwich needs to be on your MUST EAT list! Flavor, execution, portion size, all remarkable. I've had three during my time here and it blew each of the other two away. My kids also loved what they had for breakfast and have asked to go back every day. Trust me, we'll be back VERY SOON!
google avatar

Evangeline L.

Yelp
Decent Vicky Bakery! Got their guava pastries and they were fresh and affordable and sizable! They had a large selection of empanadas that I'd return to try. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

Yelp
While at school in Miami, Vicky Bakery was a cornerstone of my experience. Their cafe con leche helped me numerous times stay awake through my last class of the day, and their cheese tequeno satisfied my hunger until I was able to have an actual meal later in the day. Now I'm post-grad and working full-time, but Vicky Bakery has remained that life-line. On this particular day, I needed an afternoon pick-me up, so of course I got a hot cafe con leche with some sugar, and a cheese tequeno. It was the perfect boost I needed to finish off the day, just like it was before. If you happen to enjoy your coffee and food in the store, you have a nice selection of seating to choose from, and friendly service to help you. Never change Vicky.
google avatar

Javier M.

Yelp
Stopped in today, nothing changed, it's actually worse than last time. I honestly have no clue why people come here. Stale, cold pastries & a joke of a chicken sandwich. Officially the worst "Cuban" bakery in s Florida by far.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Today I needed to cheer myself up from some bad news & decided to get some empanadas. Jose was so patient & kind as I decided what to order. The bakery was clean & tidy. I got both beef & spinach empanadas and a slice of cheesecake. Thank you Jose for brightening my day.
google avatar

Felicia R.

Yelp
Que bueno! Vicky bakery is so delicious always, probably the best franchise/chain in south Florida. All the Cuban hits all the time. When you see the window of treats... croquetas, pastelitos, empanadas...... it's a great feeling. Cafecito is a must, get your Cuban coffee! I have ordered rum cakes here that always go well at parties.
google avatar

Roselene D.

Yelp
I like the cafe con Leche and food here! It can get crowded but service is always fast!

Yelp
10/10 Highly Recommend! I've been going to the Vicky Bakery on University for the past 4 years -- and without a doubt, it is the best Vicky location. The quality of the food, the service, and the attention to customer care here truly stand out. My job requires a lot of driving, so I often visit different Vicky Bakery locations depending on where I am. While the overall brand is great, I've found that not all locations are consistent -- except this one. If I had to choose one spot that delivers a great experience every single time, it would be the University location across from Nova. And I can't leave out the coffee! The café con leche here is the best, thanks to Lisette -- an amazing barista who always greets me with a warm smile and cheerful conversation. The coffee is a perfect start to my day every time. Highly recommend this location -- 10/10!

Yelp
Excellent service the pastries are great love the cuban vibes. Frequent flier of this place, coffee is delish and the combination of sweets and coffee makes it a perfect locstion for a afternoon snack or early breakfast
google avatar

Amanda A.

Yelp
A great quick pick-up spot for yummy Cuban pastries. The selection is usually good, and it is super convenient. My go-to order includes beef empanadas, guava and cheese pastelitos, and ham croquettas. If I ever want something easy to bring to a party, then those are my go-to crowd pleasers.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
Main reason for my rating is because of the service. It's not bad, it's just never done with a smile. I've gone during the week, weekends, early mornings and afternoons, and it's always the same - I feel like I'm bothering whoever takes my order. So, I stopped expecting the friendly energy, and just keep going back for the coffee, food and pastries. They are your typical Cuban bakery quality; delicious and hit the spot! The jam croquettas and guava and cheese pastries are my go to. If you're good with a quick, friendly-less interaction, for some fire Cuban treats, this is your place. A little side note, I just read some of the lesser reviews and maybe you should check them out before you go to be sure this place is for you.
google avatar

Bryan R.

Yelp
Cuban Chain bakery that has expanded to many locations. The food & deserts are a good sampling of authentic Cuban finger foods. I'm not a big fan of Cuban pastellitos & such. The location has a good variety & selection what they lack is staff to move the dessert & make the Cuban coffee fast enough, you can be in line up to 30min.
google avatar

Georgina W.

Yelp
You can get cheaper treats if you go down to Miami but this location always has a good selection. You can order online to skip the line because it can get very busy in the morning Everyone is nice and it helps if you speak Spanish. They will bring the food to you if you're eating in and everything tastes fresh
google avatar

Daren R.

Yelp
This Vicky Bakery is in a great corner plaza location right across from a new hospital and a huge college university campus. The inside has tables and a small couch type section also a nice outside patio. They have several emloyees working behind the counter selling coffee and pastries. It gets busy but the line goes quickly.
google avatar

Ed S.

Yelp
I DoorDashed this before I left for the airport, so I can't speak to the inside of the bakery but I'm told they have great service. The food was so insanely good. Authentic flavors with quality ingredients and made with love. I will be back again and again.

Yelp
DAVIE BAKERY IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER VICKY BAKERY LOCATIONS Being in the neighborhood of Nova Southeastern University, Broward College and the Broward K-12 campuses, the Davie location of Vicky Bakery is very popular especially during breakfast hours. There are a few tables but most people do take-out. Plenty of parking in large parking lot. Wait on a single line where you order both your beverage and pastelitos (starting at $2.69) and croquettes ($1.96) - you'll get the pastries but then have to wait with a mob of people for your coffee. We recently waited almost 10 minutes for a café con leche (Large $5.69). Having visited different Vicky Bakery locations in Miami, Plantation and Orlando, we don't understand why the prices are so different at the bakeries (almost $1 higher at Davie for pastelitos or coffee). The Davie bakery is one of the more expensive locations. You might not worry about a few dollar difference on your breakfast but if you are buying a birthday cake or catering an office breakfast, maybe consider checking around for lower prices.
google avatar

Nanda M.

Yelp
A great place for curbing a Cuban pastelito craving is it the best I've ever had? no. But! When you just need a pastelito and you're in Davie, it's a great option. Clean, friendly, and quick! Prices of course are more than if you travelled down south, but for $10 I got a cafe con leche, cheese pastelito, and a chicken empanada. For a quick easy breakfast, it's not a bad price! Plus they are able to make a decaf cafe con leche, which is hard to find! Not many places offer decaf espresso options surprisingly.

Yelp
We come here a lot and this morning we got breakfast to go. They called my name and handed me my bag of food, but when I got home I noticed I was MISSING a part of my order. I had to drive 30 mins to pick it up, when I did arrive there was NO APOLOGY or anything at all for the mistake that was made. It wasn't even busy, and when I told them what happened and I just got blank stares and someone handed me my food. I expected better customer service and it's super DISSAPOINTING, there are lots of great Cuban bakeries around and we chose to spend our money here, but the lack of even acknowledging their mistake makes me not wanna come back. Driving and extra 30 mins on my day off is not how I wanted to start my day.

Yelp
WARNING: Just ordered food from Vickey's bakery thru DoorDash & ate all the pastries, my children included, while eating the LAST pastry I noticed this tiny little worm like parasite crawling out of the meat inside the pastry! I am completely disgusted and sickened. Parasites like this form when meat is not stored correctly, I have gotten a full refund from DoorDash and sent them the video but I am absolutely appalled. I will NEVER order from here again, now I'm just hoping me and the kids don't get sick from whatever it was we ate unknowingly. DISGUSTING

Yelp
Quick pick up for Cuban pastries. Friendly service and convenient for pick up. This is great option for team meetings or bringing goodies to work to share.

Eduardo V.

Yelp
Beautiful service beautiful food I love their coffee and cookies I wish I could go more often. Jose has a wonderful customer service.

Yelp
I didn't really take any quality pictures but I hope my review does some justice. To be honest, It was too crowded for any pictures. First off WOW. On Sunday this place is poppin' like something that just went on sale. More than just a bakery , it serves all types of foods. We got a Cuban sandwich and breakfast burrito. For our drink we were cool with a cooolada. Super good espresso. "Hit me baby one more time", as I said to the cup. It got me going. Bouncin off the walls like I was at off the wall. Haha. The Cuban sandwich was unfortunately not heated evenly, some places were warm and other were hot. More bread than meat. The breakfast burrito had a more appealing taste but I can't help to think that it was too simple like something I've made at home before. The language barrier made it hard to understand them at times, but overall I was happy with my experience. Will be back.

Yelp
Love this place. Their pan de bono is delicious and cream cheese crèmeble is so good. Staff is friendly. Most of them speak Spanish but they will pain you up with someone was speaks English. They have a huge collection of pastries and cakes. Good breakfast menu. This place gets busy busy. I recommend going as soon as they open.

Paul K.

Yelp
I walked in to the davie location and the young lady was rude from the moment I walked in. Ignored me for a few minutes then, then when she decided to help me she was acting as if I was bothering her. I will not be returning for the simple fact that it was uncomfortable and unnecessary for her to treat me this way. Food was decent but not special.
google avatar

Danielle Y.

Yelp
I recently visited Vicky's Bakery in Davie and my experience was decent. My husband and I both ordered "build your own" breakfast sandwiches. I ordered mine with bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. My husband ordered his with bacon, egg and cheese on Cuban toast. In my opinion, the breakfast sandwiches weren't anything special. I wouldn't order one again as it wasn't anything to rave about and it was costly. (We spent about $23 on 2 breakfast sandwiches and a cafe con leche). However, if you're looking for a pastry, I'd recommend Vicky's Bakery. They offer a great selection of pastries to choose from. From past experiences, I know their pastries are delicious.

Laura R.

Yelp
Fast service, so many options, and the prices are very reasonable. My faves are the sandwich Cubano, the croquetas de jamon, and the guava and cheese pastry.
google avatar

Ariannah M.

Yelp
To start off when you walk in you smell the pastry's. There's coffee and pastries that taste wonderful. But the best thing about this place is the pande Bono's they are cheese bread and it is just so so good and delicious. The guy who rang it up was very nice and helped us well. Overall I would definitely recommend Vicky's for a place to try!
google avatar

Bobbi R.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place, and we just didn't. My husband and I got several things to try because everything looked amazing in the case. The cake was dry and bland. The pastries were very blahh and another dessert was very off in the flavors. We were just overall disappointed. We won't be going back.

David C.

Yelp
This company is a joke! We placed an order for a large event (60 people) at your Davie location more than a week in advance and paid for it. At the day of the event, we went to pick it up and they told us "sorry, we forgot about your order" and just gave us a refund. That is unprofessional and unacceptable! We tried to call the corporate office, and if you ask for the operator it just goes to voicemail. There is no customer service, so if you ever need catering AVOID VICKY BAKERY
google avatar

Marietta C.

Yelp
You can never go wrong with Vicky Bakery. Period. Love this location on this very busy plaza. It has everything you can possibly want. I'd definitely start off with a Colada and end with a cheese pastry. Maybe skip on the sweeting (unless you want a heart attack with the extra sweet coffee lol!) Friendly staff. Speedy service. Line gets long and busy but it goes by quick! They do have outdoor seating so that makes it even better. If (unlike me) you like flan and cheesecake? There's a flan and cheesecake cake combo that you will love. I'm not huge on flan so I only took a few bites. But if you DO love flan this is your spot. Vicky's never disappoints. Except on the tostada, it could've been a bit more tostada lol! I didn't want to skimp on the stars so I let that one slide :)
google avatar

Christina F.

Yelp
So many yummy treat options! They are some of the best around. The quattro leches is quite possibly my favorite thing, besides the iced Cafe con leche. I got an assortment of pastries this visit, the savory were absolutely scrumptious. Normally I love their guava cheese pastelito, this time around it had a weird after taste, and smelled like wet dog. The guava one tasted the same way. It isn't typical, so may be just an off day. One of the only downfalls is that it is hard to understand the workers if you don't speak Spanish. While I understand it's a cuban bakery, it's located in Davie and they should be able to communicate in English. It doesn't deter me from going though. Overall this spot is one of the better cuban options around, despite the funky after taste of the pastelitos, I will always go back and treat myself to some tasty pastries and coffee.
google avatar

Shahrooz E.

Yelp
Great experience! Been to many of Vicky's locations but this was my first time at the Davie one. Very very pleased with my online order being ready by the time I arrived. Prices are a little on the higher side but the quality is there!! Enjoy!! I know I did
google avatar

Jasmine D.

Yelp
We went there on our daughters recommendation and was she ever correct! (As usual lol) we compared it to another bakery from back home in the Bronx, Valencia. That is awesome as well (family owned n operated) upon walking in there was an older woman ready to take our order and a younger guy who my husband struck up a conversation with (very friendly) the place was very clean and well lit we didn't visit during any holiday but I would assume that they decorate very nicely for holidays, valentines etc.
google avatar

Niki L.

Yelp
So I usually love all the bakery items in Vicky bakery but I went yesterday and ordered a slice of their rum cake and I was sooo disappointed with it. It was dry and hard as a rock, it was probably stale, and what I love about rum cake is how moist it usually is. Anyway the store is nice, coffee is great.

Ray F.

Yelp
Good old Vicky bakery if you come to Miami you must at least once have a breakfast coffee or breakfast order as this is all original Latin food company that has been around for ages making pastry's and more
google avatar

Jasmine D.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in today upon our daughter's recommendation, and I must say she was absolutely correct, they are extremely reminiscent of a local bakery back home in NY that we often frequented-Valencia, not so much in the pastries just in the atmosphere. Very familial, there was even an older lady who was having a hard time opening her ketchup packets and went up to the gentleman working the counter and asked him to help her and he was helping her, no problem, which really made me feel good as I have suffered two strokes and have problems using my left hand so seeing that sort of service is very comforting to me, and while we did not eat at Vicky's today you can rest assured that we WILL be back!
google avatar

Yami R.

Yelp
We love Vicky bakery. Born and raised in hialeah moving to broward wasn't easy. But knowing there is a taste of home here in Davie is the best. We love all the food they offer. There's something for everyone.
google avatar

Sandra E.

Yelp
My husband wanted Vicky's coffee and a sandwich. I'm not a fan but I figured I would try a sandwich out. I called and the woman who answered the phone, spoke in English but I did notice that she had a heavy Spanish accent. Now, mind you, I speak fluent Spanish and English, however, I usually start off speaking English. However, if someone prefers Spanish, I immediately switch, it's not a big deal to me. Anyway, I proceeded with my question, the woman sat there listening and instead of saying - I don't speak English, she just hung up on me! When I called back, several times, would not pick up the phone! I decided to go to my favorite down the street- the Bonjour French Bakery, but my husband did order from Vicky's. He ordered a sandwich, a hot coffee and an ice coffee. Ice coffee was awful and he never got food. When he got home and opened the bag that he thought was his food he pulled out an entire bag of Vicky's napkins!
google avatar

Jon H.

Yelp
Pan con Lechon was incredible! The flavor was excellent and the bread was so delicious.
google avatar

Ltntnt L.

Yelp
Pastries are subpar at best and super over prized. Bought a rum cake that was dry as a rock. It was inedible. Bought a flan the size of a small fist that was just okay - $ 4.25. I would have left it, but I didn't want to drive all the way to Sedanos in pines to satisfy a simple craving. The coladas are really the only thing I'll get there from now on and even that's overpriced. From now on, I'll just go to the best, Sedanos
google avatar

Marie M.

Yelp
I have been to two different Vicky bakeries now and I am so disappointed. The Cuban bread is not the authentic Cuban bread. The color, the texture is not anything close to what Cuban bread really is. It is more like a French bread almost. Apart from that, it has almost doubled in price, I will never be purchasing their bread again. I have noticed that some of their other supposedly original Cuban items are not authentic either. I think they were fine until they started franchising so the quality has just gone downhill.
google avatar

Isabel V.

Yelp
If you're looking for a quick Spanish bakery that has all the essential needs, then Vickys bakery is exactly where you need to go. They have fresh natural orange juice that's always super tasty. They have freshly baked pastries and cakes for your ordering and also catering. The ham croquettes are always really good and really tasty. I just love everything about this Cuban bakery. One of my favorites.
google avatar

Eugenia L.

Yelp
I ordered a pan con bistec and a bread pudding. The sandwich was pretty bad, but edible. The bread was soggy, the "bistec" was soooo thin and sooo burnt.. the tomatoes were yellow etc. however, that's not why I am leaving a review - I am leaving a review because my bread pudding or pudin de pan in Spanish has MOLD. If I would have given this to a child they may not have noticed and could have easily eaten it. This is completely unacceptable and disgusting. I do NOT recommend this bakery. Lord knows how long things have been sitting in the fridge. I'm not sure how an employee couldn't see the mold before selling this to me.
google avatar

Jeff T.

Yelp
A welcome new addition right adjacent to the NW side of the Andrew's Avenue bridge in Fort Lauderdale! They bring their wonderful pastries and coffee and lots more scrumptious foods served by friendly and helpful staff. The pastries are incredibly flaky, can't wait to try more soon! The shop is clean and bright with plenty of windows. Be sure to check it out and don't forget to bring extras back for friend and family!
google avatar

Diah A.

Yelp
They can not handle any delivery orders more significant than one item. They will forget the rest of your order every single time. So enjoy Vicky's in-store ONLY! It doesn't matter if Uber Eats or the restaurant gives you credit; it still sucks. Trust me they will screw up your To Go order every single time. The picture below is 3 receipts with the items that we ordered. They still couldn't get it right.

Jackie T.

Yelp
I went into Vicky's Bakery in Davie yesterday I felt for a Cuban Sandwich placed my order only waited about 10 minute I also earn points when I purchase items I love their pastries and their coffee's are so good You can make a meal on their pastries and coffee's The young lady at the register was very polite great service and fantastic food Go with a friend and have a relaxing time

Yelp
I bookmarked this place a while ago but for whatever reason, have not visited yet and I live really close! The reason I finally made it here was because a fellow yelper posted pics from their recent trip and I was drooling over them previously that day. I was working until 6:15pm that evening all the way in Miramar so I was cutting it close (they close at 7pm). I rushed all the way there and made it! It's sucked though because there was not much left due to closing time in fifteen minutes. I ordered what croquettes were left, 6 empanadas (2 veggie, 2 fried chicken, 2 baked chicken), and a chocolate mousse. It was a little strange because the girl kept telling me what the total was and did not get the mousse yet so I kept responding, "yes I would also like a chocolate mousse please". I just paid to shut her up and prepared to fight if I didn't get my mousse that I paid for. Maybe she thought I was going to run out with the old food? Whatever. I have read on other reviews about stale personalities here and I saw for myself. I know my experiences are always more pleasant with bubbly people. Since I went grocery shopping after, we heated up the food later for dinner. We both enjoyed the food a lot. Hubby's favorite was the veggie empanada and mine was everything except that lol. I love this style of empanadas. I hate the corn ones so I will definitely be coming here again. Hopefully earlier in the day and with happier staff. The price was really good as well. I paid $12 and change for 6 empanadas, 5 croquettes, and a mousse. I also went to this location because the reviews of other locations were horrible.

Yelp
Vicky bakery has the best pastilitos and cafe con leche! The mini cream cheese pasta lithos are covered in sugar and are soooo tasty!
