Vicolo Colombina is an outstanding discovery in the heart of Bologna, recommended to us by the YouTubers "Cosa Mangiamo Oggi?", thank you for the tip guys.
A Michelin-starred restaurant that manages to combine refined cuisine, warm hospitality, and surprisingly accessible prices.
We came with one clear goal: the tortellini with Parmigiano cream. And I can honestly say I had never tasted anything like it. The cream was silky, deep, and perfectly balanced, while the tortellini were cooked "al dente" and packed with flavor. A truly memorable dish.
The homemade bread and grissini were also exceptional. On request, they offer a gluten-free bread selection made with various grains, all incredibly flavorful and well crafted. The mortadella mousse, together with the tortellini, is one of the highlights of the restaurant: light, refined, and enhanced by a crunchy bread element. We also shared a cotoletta that literally melted in the mouth.
We skipped dessert simply because we were full, but a very special mention goes to the coffee. Hand-harvested, blended, and roasted in Bologna by Caffè Lelli, it was, without exaggeration, the best espresso I’ve ever had.
We will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu.
A special mention goes to the service: impeccable, elegant, and efficient, covering the entire dining room with grace and precision. Despite the refined atmosphere, it is also family-friendly, with a sense of calm and genuine care for the guest.
For a Michelin-starred restaurant, prices are remarkably reasonable. Highly recommended.
Vicolo Colombina perfectly shows that fine dining doesn’t have to feel distant or intimidating. The only downside is that some people may underestimate it because of its relaxed elegance. The smart choice is to trust the kitchen and enjoy one of Bologna’s finest culinary experiences, where tradition and excellence meet effortlessly.
