Victoria Boutique Hotel

We’ve stayed in a lot of places but this one was ok just overpriced and oversold. Definitely not boutique in any way. Paint peeling from the walls, bathroom was not clean with hairs on the wall and bits of broken glass on the floor (!) see photos. We are a couple and booked a double room but the room had two single beds pushed together so there was a gap in the middle and two big hard ridges where the beds met. No foam topper, not even a mattress protector to cover the gap. The room was very small and no wardrobe, nowhere to put two suitcases. We only had two small hand luggage size cases but there was still no space. You have to go fill your own empty water bottle in the room from another floor and although they give you tea bags there is no kettle only a nespresso machine in the room. The saving grace was that the staff were lovely. We managed to change rooms but then got a call from the porter on the mobile at 3am as they hadn’t told him we weren’t a new check in - fortunately our phone was on silent. All ways around this hotel is fine but should be 50 Euros cheaper per night and not called Boitique!

Outstanding location just a block from the train station on a quiet residential street. Welcoming and helpful staff took care of any concerns, even anticipating needs like offering to open the wine I was carrying before I realized I needed an opener. The ground floor lounge and 4th floor enclosed terrace are wonderful public spaces. Breakfast (fee) included cooked items. They even had a filtered water dispenser with sparkling and still available anytime. The front door is secured whenever someone is not in immediate attendance. Our room had a small balcony and there is a lift if needed. We spent two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the small tourist beach town. The only problem we encountered was that the wifi for travel planning worked in all the public spaces but not our room. However, in keeping with the solicitous care, they asked about our stay at checkout and I brought it to their attention. The immediate response was that it would be investigated and corrected. Based on our experience with the quality of care, I have no doubt there will be an immediate adjustment. Lovely stay❣️

We stayed just one night and had a good time there. The two lovely people at reception gave us a lot of recommendations about the local area and what to see and do. The area of the hotel is convenient, close to the train station and a few minutes by foot from the high streets. Everything went smoothly. Merci :)

We stayed here for work, and unfortunately, the Wi-Fi in the rooms was not working throughout our 6-day stay. Although we raised the issue, no alternative solution was offered. Additionally, communication was sometimes challenging as some of the staff did not speak English. On a positive note, the breakfast was enjoyable and the location was convenient.

Julie was so kind and welcoming. The hotel was modern and the decor was impeccable. There is an option for a rooftop breakfast and the location is so convenient. We loved our stay at the Victoria Boutique Hotel. Oh…I forgot to mention how much they love dogs! If you have a four legged friend and want to spend some time in the beautiful town of Arcachon, this is your place!

Lovely overnight stay for a short trip to arcachon. Very friendly welcome and the place has a very boutique feel to the reception area and bedroom. Good location, with paid street parking outside.|Very clean quiet room and comfy bed. Some street noise on our 2nd floor room, but did not disturb us to any great degree.|However, as others have said, room is a little style over substance. No storage space and very little hanging space if you were staying for more than a couple of nights. Also the sliding door on the toilet room does not not provide complete privacy, as it does not completely close ( a design flaw).|Breakfast was a disappointment, given other reviews and the photos we had see, which could have been stock marketing photos. On our trip it appears that hot offerings were either not available or not replenished, there was no fresh fruit available, no croissants or chocolatines (these are stable French breakfast offerings).|There was a toaster, but no bread to use in it. The bread cutting area did not have a cloth available to use to save handling the baguette while cutting ( food hygiene).|The meat and cheese offering was extremely limited, two meats, and two cheeses.|We are also used to a more variety of cereal and yogurt options at similar type of properties, which did not seem to be available on this trip.|In summary, I would happily stay again for a short trip, based on location, friendliness of staff and cleanliness, however I would not recommend or purchase the breakfast

Fabulous hotel ! We had a very nice time and we are definitely recommending this place. The service was impeccable, room was clean and spacious they also have very kind staff!
