Victorian Café - Review - Bedford-Stuyvesant - New York - The Infatuation

"A very pink-looking brunch spot in Bed-Stuy. At Victorian Café, you can get your daily caffeine, as well as some eggy options, like an egg white omelet with spinach, breakfast potatoes, and mushrooms. They have a whole menu section for avocado toast. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Will Hartman

Why Rabat, Morocco Should Be on Your Travel Radar - AFAR

"A new café at the Chellah opened in May and named for the storks that nest on nearby minarets; it offers large breakfasts of Moroccan favorites (msemen, beghrir, amlou) and fresh berry juices, with purpose-built platforms that give front-row views of clacking, bill-snapping storks." - Nicola Chilton

Cute new café! Surprisingly spacious! Equally massive menu. We were floored by how many items they have on the menu, from breakfast sandwiches on bagels, tartines, French toast, egg dishes, fresh juices, smoothies, coffee, pastries, and more! Had the chicken schnitzel tartine and it was so crispy and not greasy. Serving size is huge. Their fresh squeezed juice, also 👌 It was packed on a weekend brunch. But they do stay open late and it was much calmer then. Love the atmosphere. Very pretty. Would come back just to try the other things on the menu! So many interesting bagels sandwiches!

Great place! They have a great selection of brunch foods and juices and the service was very fast. Plenty of vegan and gluten free options as well. If you just want coffee, the americano was just as good as in your specialty cafes.

This charming café offers a delightful array of flavorful dishes. While there are many cafés in the vicinity, this one stands out as a true gem. The food is fresh and thoughtfully prepared, ensuring a satisfying dining experience without the rush. You can genuinely appreciate the quality of the ingredients, especially the eggs. The owners and staff are exceptionally welcoming, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. Cheers!

I stopped by Victorian Café last week with my coworker for smoothies and pastries, and it was such a delightful experience! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for catching up or unwinding. Ash and Sunny, the owners, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable during our visit. The smoothies were fresh and delicious, and the pastries were simply amazing. It’s clear they put a lot of care into their food and customer service. Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend!

Victorian Cafe is adding salads to their menus, just in time for Spring! This one is an inventive combination. Spinach and arugula for your greens packing nutritional bang, but grilled Halloumi cheese on top is sumptuous salt and protein AND steamed beets wedges throughout are a generous sweet pleasure. Curls of Shiitake mushrooms throughout, oh my! Nicely sliced ripe avocado for your own dispersal. Lightly dressed. I feel so nourished and pleased. Options to select add one. Try their roasted sunflower seeds, is one way to enhance.

Wow! Cortelyou’s newest coffee/brunch spot is bangin! From the egg plates to the out of this world garlic roasted potatoes to the heavenly French toast, you have to check it out. Can’t wait to try their other dishes and the yummy donuts. Perfect for those who want a cute space to work from that serves great coffee and tea options

I’m not one to write reviews but my experience at Victorian Cafe was nothing short of exceptional. The menu is a testament to the cafe's commitment to organic and healthy eating. I opted for a classic coffee, which was expertly brewed and bursting with rich flavor. The selection of organic food is impressive, with a variety of fresh dishes that cater to various dietary preferences. Each bite was a celebration of freshness, leaving me feeling satisfied yet light. With its delicious organic offerings, impeccable service, and inviting atmosphere, it’s a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy a healthy meal or find a peaceful nook for studying. I left with a full belly and a happy heart, eagerly anticipating my next visit.

New cafe in town!!!!! The owner is super nice and friendly, you can tell he puts love and soul in the place from its interior design to the preparation and sourcing of its food and ingredients! The result is the most stunning cafe in the area! With mouthwatering foods ; pastries; coffees and amazing matcha! I had an excellent omelette, surprisingly good open-faced bagel with mandarin orange, blueberry and drizzle with honey and to die for matcha!! Can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu.

Yelp
Even though there is a bunch of cafes in the area (across the street even), I think this cafe is unique enough to provide something different. Like many have noted, there are many similarities to Cafe Madeleine down the street (especially with the set up of their menu and the display case of drinks ). However, when I asked, they said they didn't have a sister cafe (the question might have been misunderstood though). Since this was a site of a former cannabis spot, I didn't know how much space it would have. It is spacious to have a lot of tables (ideal for 2 people) and more spacious spots towards the back. There is a bathroom available. The menu is halal (beef bacon available) and has a lot of brunch options, many smoothies and immunity shot options and pastry/cafe options. Which is great because the smoothie shop a few doors down closed down so it is great someone provides those options again. What sets this place apart from the other cafes is that it occupies the Instagram aesthetic cafe category that others along the street don't have. Its walls are bright and colorful with detailed decorations and art hanging up, the drinks are in fashionable glasses when staying in, the food is definitely plated to be on someone's social media feed. This isn't to say that they aren't any good. My strawberry matcha with oat was definitely balanced and done without powder aftertaste. Plus the people working there were nice and answer any questions I had. According to time listed, they close at 8 pm which answers a desire I had about having places nearby places that do caffeinated drinks and treat later at night. Plus they have wifi so I can see people doing work (or having study dates).

Yelp
Ducked in here on a hot day to cool off. They have an extensive menu of hot tea and will make any one of them iced. Friendly staff brought my ginger lemon iced tea to my table. Perfectly sweetened. Nice addition to the neighborhood

Yelp
Love this new brunch spot on this side of Cortelyou! If you're familiar with Cafe Madeline ~5 blocks away, Victorian is similar - counter-style service, offering super fresh ingredients and a great mix of healthy and also indulgent dishes. My husband and I loved our breakfast plates and will certainly be back.

Yelp
New Cafe in Ditmas Parks, the staff was quite friendly and inviting as we came in. Did not get a coffee or any foods but enjoyed a strong afternoon pick me up ginger shot. The ginger shot was quite powerful to say the least.

Yelp
On a stretch overloaded with coffee shops, one more won't hurt, as long as it's one like this. They have an extensive menu which is full of goodies.

Yelp
Zesty avocado toast!! Delish!! Whole grain bread is thick-cut, and the mashed avocado is lemony with just a dash of heat. Lots of flavor!!

Yelp
Delicious eggs, good coffee, a neighborhood gem. If you liked Cafe Madeleine down the street you'll love this one.

Yelp
I am very impressed with the welcoming ambience Victorian Cafe creates. Ash and Sonny go over and beyond to make everyone feel they are special. The food is top notch and high quality. I highly recommend checking out this great addition to Cortelyou Rd.

Yelp
cute cafe minus the deafeningly loud music - 10am - that no one is listening to except the workers. everyone here has AirPods in bc otherwise it's intolerable. impossible to work here if that's your goal.
