Where to Eat and Drink on Campus at Portland State University | Eater Portland

"Located inside Ondine — the student dorm — Victor’s dining hall is the go-to option for students using dining points; it’s PSU’s only dining hall, so I rely on it for regular, convenient campus meals." - Alayna Becker

Victor’s Dining Center impressed me with its clean layout, fresh produce, and wide variety of food stations. Whether you’re in the mood for comfort food, pizza, or just grabbing a banana or apple, there’s something for everyone. I especially appreciated the playful wall decor and clear labeling—it made the place feel inviting and student-friendly. The staff were kind and efficient, keeping everything clean and well-stocked. Bonus points for the emphasis on sustainability and the signage encouraging good food choices. One star off only because the flow of the serving stations can get a bit tight during busy times—but overall, it’s a great campus dining spot. Definitely one of the better university cafeterias I’ve seen!

Your students pay too much money to have the dining hall be closed saturday mornings and close to early every day. just cause it’s saturday doesn’t mean ur students shouldn’t get breakfast. Instead of knocking down buildings that don’t need to be knocked down, how about you spend your students money on making the amenities here better

I went to Montana State before transferring here. I didn't realize how good I had it with Miller/Rendezvous Dining Halls until I had the misfortune of having to come to Victor's because of my meal plan. First off, the staff is great, I'm sure they're just working with a tight budget. Like others have said, the food is just not good. It satisfies your body's nutritional/caloric needs and that's about it. The interior is just a black box, the tables are usually dirty, there aren't even bathrooms past the cashier. For your own sake scope it out before buying the meal plan.

It's good that it's all you can eat, and they have some good food, but over all it's not that great. I only eat there when I'm too lazy to walk very far and really hungry. The burgers and waffles are decent, and the juice is fantastic. But multiple times I've found dirty plates mixed in with the clean ones. I know there's a lot of plates to clean, but that doesn't mean you should rush through cleaning them. My friend has gotten food poisoning from there. The pizza is horrible, and they don't refill their ketchup enough. Also, I don't know how people with a meal plan deal with the limited options.

if you live on campus at PSU this is your main food option if you have the meal plan. it's kinda bad and i believe to have gotten food poisoning from here, but also the employees are really nice, and the charge is just for admission so you can eat as much as you want! there are definitely better options but if you're paying for a meal plan you might as well go here.

Decent, affordable buffet in the middle of downtown. You can get nutritious, varied, and well-seasoned meals if you avoid the fast food dishes.

It looks good, they'll have really good stuff sometimes and then never have it again, but it all tastes the same, they can't cook tempeh, there's like 2 salt shakers or something like that, they're always out of soy milk- and as someone on a dining plan, I go maybe 3 times a week so I'm literally wasting thousands of dollars to not go (and they say it's to expensive to keep using beyond burgers). They do have a somewhat decent selection though, and I do sometimes actually enjoy the food I get there

This made my mental state worse. The Chicken made my gastrointestinal illness much more severe and I want to die. The chocolate milk despenser was always out. The fries and burgers couldn't be more mid if Kirkland made them. The chocolate cake was pretty good but it only was served twice. Every morning I wake up and want to go back to sleep because I know I need to eat but I would rather die in my sleep than wake up to Victor's.
