Awesome place to go to play games. Bring your own stuff to Hobby with as well. They have an awesome system in which you can Donate extra bits from Warhammer, d and d etc. After which you can pick through for what you may need. Staff is helpful, friendly and Accommodating. Sorry for the bad grammar but check this place out.

Google
I'm not a comic person but my boyfriend is and he loves this place. Large variety of comics, games, & collectable stuff. I bought a great cook book & the bathrooms were clean! 10 outta 10 will not complain when I have to go with my boyfriend.

Jo Zurat

Google
Excellent comic and game store. Staff is friendly and attentive! The comic clerk has given good recommendations, and the games side always has quality selection. If I lived closer, I’d be in here at least once a week.

Washington Fajardo

Google
This comic book store has a great inventory, including new releases and sales opportunities. They also have toys and action figures. There’s a large area dedicated to RPG games, but I’m not interested in those. I visited the store all week and found the staff to be nice and helpful. They also have a subscription system.

Google
It's a fairly big location for more up to date comics, some games, some manga, and plenty of spaces to play games. It is not too small nor is it too large. Some figurines and collectables. It's just right for the neighborhood. Parking is tight but if push comes to shove, then the street and park parking can be used

Richard Eckhart (DoomedCustoms)

Google
A good selection, action figures are way too expensive, but the staff is friendly. They do a lot of card games in the back which is nice but customer body odor is a common problem. A woman who works there should learn to regulate her volume but generally the staff is quite pleasant. Definitely worth a visit or two!

Google
Victory is everything you could ask for in a local game store! Great selection of comics, games, and cards. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They also run great MTG prerelease events.

Christopher D'Aloia

Google
Victory Comics is the best comic book store in the DC/Nova area. Their collection of back issues is the strongest in the area and the staff is super friendly. Also good selection of TPBs. The store itself is massive and has a ton. If you're into DC, this is the place for you (but they definitely have way more than just DC). It's a great atmosphere!

Yelp
As others have said, not the easiest place to find parking. Getting into the parking lot is a little bit tricky. But it really is worth it to come here! The service was great and the selection was well above average. The store is laid out in a very easy to manage way, and the selection of products is pretty terrific. You would be hard pressed to find a more complete comic and gaming store in the area. SELECTION: like I said before they have a great selection of stuff. It is divided into two sections so it's easy to find what you need. Comic books are very well laid out with a easy to find rack of new comics as well as bins of old comics. I really appreciated the family friendly area too. for the card section, they have both training cards and collectible card games. They carry things like Pokémon, Magic the Gathering , Lorcana, and Star Wars unlimited. But they have much more than just that. SERVICE: service was great! Overall, they are very helpful and it is well staffed. It was a little disorganized near the register, but can't really complain because of the great selection and the friendly attitude. COST: the value for what you get is right on the Mark. It is a place with reasonable prices and they stick relatively close to MSRP. The exceptions being what you would find at any other card shop. Right now Pokémon cards are through the roof, but at least here they are reasonable.

Yelp
We had such a great time whenever we visit here. Not only do they have an amazing selection of comic books, but their collection of Pokémon and RPGs are impressive if you are fan of both trading card games. There a small section of sports memorabilia and trading cards as well. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help find specific cards or suggest new comics to check out. They host regular game nights and tournaments, which makes it a great spot to meet other enthusiasts. The store itself has a relaxed, welcoming vibe. It is clear they really care about their customers and the hobby community. Whether you're looking for a new comic series, rare Magic cards, or just some cool Pokémon memorabilia, this is definitely the place to go. Enjoy!

Yelp
This place came through with an item in-stock that I couldn't find anywhere. I'm happy I remembered this place and was able to get my recently-out-of-print item. Thank you!

Jason D.

Yelp
Great comic book selection and collectibles stuff but terrible stuff with pokemon. This place is filled with comic books and organized very neat which I will tell my friends about Lots of variety of funkos, anime, and action figures With pokemon.... sigh. Not a lot of singles, packs are overpriced cause of the skyrocketing of pokemon atm. Tried to sell some cards and the max they'll do is 10. The employee took off the card from the protector and put their fingerprints on my cards which was not okay. No other store does that neither trades with people do that which got my mind blown.

Yelp
Really cool comics/TCG/tabletop/collectibles store in Falls Church. I am looking forward to playing Lorcana here at some point, though I'm not sure if I'm brave enough yet to join the league (anyone wants to play Lorcana with me?). It's even bigger than it looks from the outside, and there's so much stuff to check out that I haven't even scratched the surface in my 2 visits thus far. My only complaint would be the parking, which is not their fault, but perhaps a reconfiguration of the existing space could help.

Marcus I.

Yelp
Do not come here if you are looking for pokemon for even slightly above msrp surging sparks loose packs were $12 per

Mark H.

Yelp
Good selection and easy checkout - a lot of great discounts for collectors I'll be back soon

Yelp
Cool store with great collection of comics, trades, games, and figures. This store has character and it feels more fun shopping here than at some other shops in the DMV.

Yelp
Victory Comics in Falls Church has the largest selection of comic books, games, collectibles, and related stuff - of the Comic Book Stores in Virginia - that I have currently visited! They have a gaming room on one side of the building - there were quite a few folks hanging out playing games - on the rainy Sunday afternoon that I visited. Cool store! #VictoryComics

MoJoe S.

Yelp
Pros: - Good stock of comics, cards, tabletop games and Warhammer inventory - Seem like they hold frequent events - Right next to Target Cons: - Parking is terrible: they only have five or six parking spaces - Model kits and figures might be overpriced; saw a transformers item for 35 you can get for 29 - Masks are still mandatory even though I saw people eating and drinking, what's the point? It's not bad, but it's not a place I'll go unless someone takes me there or I know they have an item I need.

Daniel W.

Yelp
Go here if you know what you are looking for. The staff can't answer basic questions regarding arrivals or what's available. This is the second time I shopped here. Not bad, but not great.
google avatar

Alexander F.

Yelp
The people that run this store are awesome! Great to talk to friendly to my children. I can't wait to spend more time in the store when my life allows! Gareth is awesome resource for Warhammer and D&D!

Yelp
Big store with a lot of stock. Great customer service. These guys have lots of back issues, toys, and gaming stuff in addition to the new comics. Everything is clean and well-organized. The pricing is a little high. Definitely internet prices without taking into account shipping, handling, and process fees that online retailers must pay. I expect in-store prices to be at least 10% below the online price. They don't offer bulk discounts and all prices are firm unless you spend more than $500. That said, the prices were fair. This would be a good LCS for any subscriber. I'll be back for sure.
google avatar

Glen Y.

Yelp
I come here for the back issues and they never disappoint. I always seem to find something I want (need) ((haha)). Highly recommend if your looking to fill gaps in your collection.

R S.

Yelp
Went there two weeks ago, guy that was working seemed very unhappy to be there. Asked to see some cards inside the glass display and acted like he hates me. Also asked to see how much he would give for a card I was trying to trade in, but he didn't even do it and said that they would offer below premium. Guy was white, had glasses, and sort of tall. Terrible customer service. Worst i've seen at a comic store.

Yelp
One of the better comic book shops in the area, Victory Comics has a vast array of modern and vintage comics. Their behind the counter stock consists of such holy grails as Hulk 181 (Wolverine's first appearance) and Amazing Spider-Man 129 (the first appearance of the Punisher); however, Victory also has a sweet selection of back issues to satisfy any collector. Although not really my thing, Victory also has a nice selection of Statues and toys. Is that Thanos I see staring at me from across the room, or Superman swooping in to save the day? Victory does seem to have something for everyone. I was happy with their service, and whether your a pro or just getting into comic books, Victory Comics has a knowledge staff that can fulfill all of your comic book dreams.

Yelp
Nice selection of back issues. Great selection of key issues. Lots of off brand stuff you do t normally see. Decent prices. Excellent selection of RPG material and assorted ephemera. Good to see toys and other geek swag getting shelf space too. My only real knock on this place is that most of the staff seem to be on auto-pilot. That isn't to say they aren't helpful (they are) but they don't go out of their way to engage or turn you on to new stuff. I don't know - maybe they're just tired. The big exception is the woman running the back counter for RPGs and cards - she was refreshing to speak with, helpful and very knowledgeable. Was a little disappointed to see next to no support for local indie/pro creators as well, especially after seeing the extra mile that places like Big Planet Comics and Third Eye Comics goes to do so. I'm sure they have their reasons but there's just SO much potential here. Will definitely continue to shop here and support this store.

Andy T.

Yelp
great selection of comics and nice staff but comics are priced very high. expect to pay high prices even for non key comics.

Michael B.

Yelp
Pretty nice atmosphere overall , but looking at tcgplayer and the prices this store has for booster pack is a bit inflated , I can get a better deal From tcgplayer .
google avatar

Eric L.

Yelp
I was in need of cash and had made an appointment to sell a stack of comic books. I had in my stack walking dead 1 and 2, hulk 181 and other high prices books. I had did the math and on a conservative end the collection I was trying to sell was worth 8k. I was willing to settle for 2k. Some white guy (guessing owner) offered me 200. I turned him down. He then went on to brag about how people bring him collections like mine all the time and how he just throws it away. I asked him why doesn't he just donate to hospitals for kids. He says hospitals are the ones who ask him to get rid of the comics. Absolutely disgusted by the behavior and the sight of him bragging about filling dumpster full of comics. I tell everyone to avoid this place and tell everyone to about how they treat people looking to sell their books to this place as they are not interested in giving a fair deal.

Yelp
Discovered this gem of a comic book shop while I was visiting DC. Lots of variety and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
google avatar

Langston W.

Yelp
Very clean as organized unlike most shops. Staff was very informative and helpful as well. Probably the best comic collectible store I have been in.
google avatar

Bob B.

Yelp
Great selection of comics, games, and collectibles. Pretty good set of back issues in addition to new comics and collected editions. Also really nice that they have an area dedicated to comics and other stuff for little kids.
google avatar

Yelp
Staff Rocks, great comic selection, lots of activities (I haven't been able to be a part of yet - but they always have lots of people there participating!) Not many stores I this 40+ mom can walk in with her 8-yr old twin sons and have us all go to opposite ends of the store and come back with happy handfuls of purchases! (Except maybe a candy store.) Love the staff, too! They are SO nice! They don't make me feel old and uncool, or my boys feel to young - they treat them like VIPs. Love this place - and highly recommend it.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
This is the most welcoming comic book store in Northern Virginia, particularly, in my opinion, for women. While I have experienced sexism at several comic book stores in the area, the employees here are up-to-date that girls read comic books, too. The store itself is more spacious than most, so you aren't bumping elbows with everyone else in the store, and things are organized well so you can find things on your own for the most part without digging. With the addition of a parking garage nearby, it is now much easier to visit. The old parking lot had few available spots, but now when those areas run out, there is typically ample parking on the street or the nearby garage. Great location. Great selection. Great people.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Clean, brightly lit, large and well-organized neighborhood comic and gaming shop that might just be my new pull box location! Victory comics is an amicable mix of new and vintage comic books, great collectibles, and a huge gaming section in the back. It's geek Mecca. If you like comics--DC, Marvel, Xenoscope-- make a pilgrimage to Victory. Even if you aren't in the market to buy anything, it is worth a visit to browse the shelves. There is a pantheon of action figures, statues, hard to find items, comics, posters, and gifts. Owner/staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are easily engaged in conversation about the great finds on the shelves or speculation about where a storyline is going.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
People complain about the white guy with glasses, I think he's more of feature than anything.
google avatar

Kimi S.

Yelp
Looking for a Star Trek tie bar or cologne? What about a Justice League pitcher with matching tumblers? Victory Comics has got you covered! My boyfriend is a huge comic book geek and was very impressed with the size and breadth of this store. To quote him: "This is the comic book store I dreamed about opening as a kid!" I'm not too much of an otaku like my boyfriend but I had a grand time flipping through some old Archie comics, a Game of Thrones guidebook, and watching the hodge podge of people gathering in the back for a Dungeons and Dragons throw down. I even found a New Kids on the Block comic book nestled in between some Green Lantern and X-Men back issues! This place really has some thing for everyone! Even though the demographic of the store was predominantly male, the owner was very friendly and was quick to assure me that as a girl I too, could get into gaming as well. After recently seeing a very eventful episode of Community where they play an RPG game, I might just take his word for it! Who's in?
google avatar

Peter R.

Yelp
Highly recommend this store! We come here for all of our board, tabletop, card, dice game needs as well as for comics and other cool gift items! Store is well stocked, full of neat odds n ends, great selection of games, supplies, comics, guide books, and whatever else you may need! Staff are also knowledgeable and have helped me many times! Definitely check these folks out before you shop places like amazon!
google avatar

Rob G.

Yelp
What a great shop!! Perfect mix of comics, toys, statues, and gaming. And it doesn't look like someone's collection cave of stuff that they don't want to sell like a lot of comic book stores in this area. The owner and his crew are all friendly and attentive. Again, great shop!!
google avatar

Sakita D.

Yelp
I'm not much of a comic book lover but I decided to check this place out with a friend. When I first walked in, the first thing I noticed was the fresh hardwood floor smell. It smelled like I had just walked into a new house. Besides being in love with the flooring, I really enjoyed the selection of comics they had. They had a variety of dolls and other collectibles to browse through. They also had walking dead shirts! Which was cool but I didn't get one :\. When I'm in this area, I like to stop by here just to browse and kill some time.

Luis S.

Yelp
This business over prices a lot of its items and I understand you have to make a profit but compared to a lot of the other equal competitors they seem to overcharge the most. The guy that works in the back is not very approachable.

Cade R.

Yelp
I love this store. I love coming in and seeing all the old Stan lee comics and all the action figures too this is been my kids favriot store as well. And the staff is super great the quality is great. So come on down to victory comics today

Vanessa J.

Yelp
The staff was very rude. Echoing what others have said, they have an attitude problem consistently when trying to trade in/sell to them.
google avatar

Roberto L.

Yelp
I love coming to Victory Comics but my experience today left a bad taste in my mouth. I came in to pick up a comic I ordered and the manager was friendly. I went to the register and told the gentleman (Caucasian, dark hair, wearing glasses) that I was here to pick up my comics. He looked at me like I was a complete idiot and said "a lot of people come in to pick up comics. I need more to go off of. Name or box number?". I responded by saying that I was being kind to him and that his attitude was uncalled for. He didn't even look up at me but instead just responded, "okay." I hope his behavior is not what you guys deem a good representation of your company.

Eric H.

Yelp
Impossible to find a good deal here. Yes, they have key books, but you're better off just buying them on feebay. It's unfortunate too because everyone dreams of going to a comics store and rooting through the dollar bins and finding gold. Here there is no such thing as a dollar bin. Also, it always seems like they're out of stock for the supplies I need whenever I go there.
google avatar

Eric L.

Yelp
I primarily go to Victory Comics for the board games and RPGs they have. They tend to have a very good selection and reasonable prices. They also have a cork-board between their comics room and games room for people to post their "looking for games" notes. They have a few folding tables in the back of the games room for the gamers, but they are frequently occupied by Magic the Gathering folks or other CCG players. I should also mention that unlike some other games stores in the DC area, Victory Comics keeps their bathroom clean and that definitely helps foster their welcoming atmosphere.

Patrick I.

Yelp
New to the area, and always looking for a LGS to play magic at. This place had good reviews so I went. If you're a regular magic player this store is not for you. Way over priced in every way. They only cater to winning players, and even then the prize support is very minimal at best. Save your money, save your time, and go some where else or buy online. Or take your business to MTGO or MTGA
google avatar

Jack C.

Yelp
Great, friendly store with a good selection of singles and softcover collections, and a couple of shelves of deluxe or prestige hardcover books. There is a sizable gaming shop attached to the store as well.

David P.

Yelp
Overpriced products and rude staff. Like others I also had a negative experience with the white glasses wearing man.

J T.

Yelp
I inherited a large golden age collection and Victory Comics helped me quickly understand it's condition and value. It was a great experience. I recommend and would use them again!
google avatar

Yiping Z.

Yelp
1. Great selection of board games, comics, and hobby supplies. 2. Great place to play magic the gathering. I come here for occasionally for pre-release other events and I've always had a fun time. Their events smooth and quick, without much delays in-between rounds. 3. The store is CLEAN and well lit with lots of space. I believe they can fit 80+ players for a magic event. 4. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Except, there is an older gentleman who works there that seems to have an attitude with customers. 5. The store itself is a poke-stop.
google avatar

Yelp
I wanted to take my boys somewhere different on a rainy day, so I took them here to browse for comics. This store is great. It has a good selection of comics, a well labeled kids section, many many board games, collectibles, and much more. I suspect my family and i are going to be regular visitors.

Yelp
Back in the day I was the girl a the comic shop, when there were lots of comic shops around. Fast forward 20 -some- odd years and most of the comic shops in the area are long since gone as was my habit of visiting them. One of my favorite writers came out of hiding and it led me to look around for a local shop and Victory Comics (according to Yelp) was the place to go. I sat in the parking lot for a good 5 minutes just looking at the sheer size of the place, it is huge! I went in (walking past the rape-y vibe van parked by the door) and stepped in side....and immediately felt like a stranger in a strange land. I walked up and down the isles of comics, graphic novels, trades, toys and collectibles. I never wandered over to the game side (another casualty of technology, gaming stores and comic stores are now often one and the same) but in the end, I didn't even know where to start. Have no fear, as I stood there feeling totally out of place and out of my league, their super helpful, and surprisingly not snobby staff (much like record stores there is a stigma with working at a comic book store) asked me if I needed help....a few minutes later, feeling much more at ease, I made my purchases and departed feeling like I'd been reunited with an old friend. Thank you Victory Comics! I"ll see you soon!
google avatar

Luke B.

Yelp
Victory comics seemed to have plenty of selection according to my short browse through the store. There was a big area of back issues and lots of volume trades. Store also had a lot of accessories and other collectible items, plus other books that were specifically comics/graphics novels. I found the comics I was looking for, as well as a handful of others - I actually had to reign myself in to keep from spending more than I had planned. The one thing they didn't have were copies of an issue they had already sold out of, this wasn't a surprise to me so no big disappointment there. The employee I spoke to however was very helpful and offered to have the issue ordered to the store, which wasn't necessary but was appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend others check the store out. I'm just sad that I don't live closer to Falls Church, otherwise I would likely find myself returning pretty frequently.
google avatar

Nataliya N.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came in on a Saturday and were really enjoying browsing the store. They have a huge collection of comics and also have a separate table area set up for playing games and painting War Hammer figurines. There are a ton of board games, but you could probably buy them cheaper on Amazon. So why not a full five stars? Remember Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons? Well, he works here and is just as pleasant in person. The boyfriend started to ask Comic Book Guy (CBG) about Magic Cards and this guy seemed terribly pained by it. He might as well have been suffering through the last three episodes of BSG on repeat when it comes to dealing with sad n00bs all day. He was only kind of nice when the boy asked for some Land cards. We spent 10 minutes filtering through several boxes of unsorted Land cards from various Magic editions. The price for these cards is very decent. The boy managed to get 78 Land cards for around 8$! Then my boyfriend asked him about Magic tournaments using older decks and asked what edition constituted a legacy deck. My boyfriend had played Magic as a kid and wasn't up to date with the new lingo. CBG was annoyed by this. My boyfriend was the new thorn in his side and would just. Not. Go. Away. CBG's response was more or less: "Don't know what a legacy deck for Magic Cards is, you peon!? GAWD! Look it up online!" My boyfriend didn't take as much offense as I did, but as a new Magic player myself, I felt that his behavior was off-putting and made me self-conscious about asking questions about the game. Two stars off for the unnecessarily pretentious behavior.
google avatar

Tracey G.

Yelp
I will start off by saying this is a very large store and a favorite for when we are looking for board games. However, I do wish the staff was more female friendly. I always go with my SO and they always address him instead of me which irks me. I am actually the one more interested in comic books so it offends me when I can go through the entire store without being addressed while my SO is pestered a little too much. Not ALL of the staff is like this, of course, but more than often this happens. It would also be helpful if they highlighted some comics with females as the main character or if they had a lady comic book night to make the store more female friendly!! Parking lot is VERY SMALL.
google avatar

Melissa R.

Yelp
Huge store! I really liked it right when I walked in. Its divided into two parts, comics and then a game part. There is also a part in the back with tables. Huge comics selection as well as action figures and minis. The staff was friendly and welcoming and will definitely return here.

Yelp
I visited Victory after recently moving to the area on a quest for some back issues. What I expected going into it was pretty much what I'm used to seeing - small(ish), crowded, specialized store that was either going to have a great collection of back issues, or a solid selection of current issues. What did I see instead? A clean, rather large space with just about everything for anyone. As others have said, there really is everything from comics to pop culture merch, to games, to community, whatever! I felt welcomed, not crowded - I found 6 of the issues I was looking for and the employee who rang us up was perfectly nice. Yes, the parking lot is itty. bitty. I was able to park on the opposite side of the street but it does appear it'd be a pain for any sort of event. I'm holding back the last star until I've been to some events and spent more time there, but all in all I'm glad to have visited and look forward to returning!
