Great late night spot! Best grilled hot dogs and honestly I’ve had a lot of different things off their menu and everything has been great! I had the chicken dinner plate and my boyfriend had ribs and they were fabulous! They consistently clean the tables and have approachable customer service at all hours. I can vouch for both of the grilled and spicy fried chicken sandwich, gyro, burger and Oreo shake. The Al pastor tacos are eh…wouldn’t recommend. Plenty of store assigned parking on the side and back alley

Google
If I could give them 6/5 stars, I would! The entire staff is friendly, it’s always clean, and the delicious food is ready in a timely manner! Personally, I like Victory Grill more than Portillos! The fries are the perfect thickness and crispiness (not too much, not too little) and their milkshakes are AMAZING. I always get the #5: cheese burger (with everything on it) with fries. I cannot recommend this place enough!! My favorite food spot in Chicago!!

Google
Went for a late night meal... good food and atmosphere. You can have an alcoholic beverage with your meal. I also loved that this burger joint has Mexican styled food. Will come back next time I am at Logan Square

Google
First time here and impressed with the fresh food, cleanliness of the restroom, prompt customer service and they have parking. I ordered a chicken breast on pita w 🍟. The atmosphere was calming with large booths. I would definitely come back and recommend it.

Google
Approximately 3/4" Cheese Burgers are great!! I was impressed !It was delicious Mmmmmmm forget the whopper and quarterpounder this is way better then those fake meats this is the real deal. Mmmm, and the fries were good, too. Anyone should not be afraid to try it.

Google
Very good experience! The burgers were perfectly cooked and the fries were good. Staff was extremely friendly and food was very quick to make. The building itself is super cool and a great atmosphere. I definitely recommend!

Google
Victory Grill – Great Food, Shady Slots Victory Grill is a solid spot for classic comfort food. Their hot dogs are top-notch, the burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the gyros are exactly what you want—well-seasoned, tender, and loaded with toppings. The fries are crispy, the portions are generous, and the service is friendly. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a casual meal, the food always hits the spot. Now, let’s talk about the slot machines. If you’re thinking about playing, don’t. Their machines have a nasty habit of not printing winning tickets, and when you try to get your rightful payout, you’re met with nothing but attitude. The guy who runs the machines, “Flex,” couldn’t care less. He won’t check the cameras, won’t listen, and acts like you’re trying to scam him when you’re just asking for what you rightfully won. It’s not even about the money—it’s about the principle. If you’re running machines that take people’s money, you’d better make sure they pay out when they’re supposed to. Come for the food, avoid the slots.

Google
First time here after watching it being built and open for some time. Somewhat upscale fast food if there is such a thing. The menu is aplentiful criss-crossing traditional American with Mediterranean and Mexican favorites. She was craving a spicy chicken sandwich, and I had the Jefe burger with a PBR. While nothing has yet to top Popeye's Spicy Sandwich in my book, the chicken was still pretty good. My Jefe burger was delicious, but the excessive avocado 🥑 made it messy. I shared her fries, and it all came up to just over 30 bucks. I didn't like that the touch screen required the cashier to get involved if you didn't leave a tip. You get charged, and someone calls your number to pick up your order. Nothing extra. The interior is beautiful and clean. I am curious about the rest of the menu. Some of the choices I saw other customers make looked amazing.

Yelp
Here now for dinner before concert at Concord music hall. Food is good but as others have said, expensive. $9 for grilled chicken sandwich no fries or sides or a drink just sandwich . Was nice to see when it was slow that employees didn't just stand around, the lady taking orders went an cleaned the tables. Wish this place was not so expensive
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is really good. I love everything I've gotten. But it's just too much money for what it is, so the value isn't good. The 2 hot dog deal is great. 4 small chicken tenders for like $13 and $2 for each sauce is ridiculous. The chicken kabob plate is phenomenal tho. Just know that some items are a good value and some suck.

Yelp
2.51 barely gets Victory Grill rounded up to 3 stars. Quality is slightly above average for a late night spot, but still overpriced. Chicago Dogs, wings, and pizza puffs are safe bets. Burgers were once pretty good, but the beef quality has been inedible my last few tries. Service is quick and friendly enough. Restaurant is particularly clean.
google avatar

Yelp
Found this place on my way to a concert at United Center. And I'm glad I did. They have parking beside the restaurant. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I order the 2 hot dog special that comes with fries and a drink. The hot dogs were beefy and packed full of fresh toppings. I love that they put the mustard on top, because when some places do the smear on the inside of the bun the taste of the mustard gets lost. The fries were good, but nothing special to note. I love the fact that they have hot and mild sauce, to dip your fries into. Also, they have a Kool-Aid machine for drink. Wow!

Lydia B.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE RESTAURANT!!! $25 for a sandwich and chili fries!!! EXTREMELY RUDE EMPLOYEES!! They got my order wrong and I had to walk all the way back for them to fix it! They laughed when I told them what they did wrong and on my way out they were smiling and laughing!! food was disgusting also!! DONT EAT HERE WASTE OF MONEY!!
google avatar

Yelp
This place was so good! The burger tastes like a real home BBQ but the person splurged and got the best ingredients. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Great price & the vibes were amazing. I'll definitely be back . I love that they're open late too in a fun location
google avatar

Ari L.

Yelp
Really average hot dog stand. Looks nice on the outside and in, but the food is subpar. They spent all their money on decor and haven't figured out the food. That should be easy enough to fix if they care. I had their Italian beef, Italian sausage and French fries. The bees was tasteless and on a crappy bun. No spices to the beef. Just bland boiled meat. And then sweet peppers tasted like peppers boiled in water. The Italian sausage was similar in flavor in that it was missing it. How do you fuck up Italian sausages? I'm guessing maybe it was just over cooked. And the fries were just ordinary fries. Nothing special. I would have preferred a bag of Orieda frozen fries to theirs. Food took a long time also. I'm glad it was freshly made, but this is fast food. 10 or 15 minutes when there aren't a lot of people ahead of you is silly. I won't be back.
google avatar

Linnea B.

Yelp
A friend and I stopped in for a late lunch. The food was great. But I want to mention the young woman behind the counter who said her name was Yuri. Normally you give your order , they give you cups for you to get your own beverage and pickup your own food. This very nice person saw that we were 2 older people and I use a cane and she got our drinks, brought our food and cleared the table for us when we were done! Even without the good food, this alone would make me want to come back again.
google avatar

Yelp
Grilled chicken avocado blt with honey mustard 10/10 changed my life. Its a little pricey but overall I would come again
google avatar

Gino T.

Yelp
Very popular place every time I pass by its full. I had the chicken sandwich but I asked for to be on french bread and they accommodated me. I also had the polish. Its an American menu hotdogs, burgers, gyros etc. Not a bad place they do have many options solid 7/10. Plenty of seating and solid milkshakes. Good late not option.

Yelp
Love this place. Elite burger and nice staff. Will be back for sure. I just have to workout first.

Yesenia O.

Yelp
I was in the restaurant on Sunday from like 6-7 or so and my car got broken into in the parking lot called the on Monday to see if they caught anything on the cameras and it's Thursday and still haven't heard back from them don't recommend the restaurant unless you want your car broken into.
google avatar

Ricardo S.

Yelp
30 min for a burger ... just ridiculous... lol Ice cold inside the store ... make sure you bring a jacket for the wait ...

Yelp
Love this place. I have smelled the food when going to the dollar tree and always wanted to try it. We were coming home from a late night out in the suburbs and needed to eat before going to sleep. We decided to try victory grill as they have parking.. We were very impressed with how we were very impressed with how nice it is inside. They keep this restaurant this restaurant clean and it is very and it is very open and well lit inside. We were greeted by the cashier who I think maybe the manager and he was a hoot. He was really friendly and and explain to us the history of victory grill. He also had good recommendations. This place has booze beer milkshakes your milkshakes and everything you can need for a late night and you can need for a late night. They even have desserts cakes cookies and Kool aid! Yes I said Kool aid. We placed our order to go and had beer while we waited for had beer while we waited for our food to cook. It it didn't take that long for our take out order to be ready. I ordered the chicken kebab plate and my husband got the gyro plate. Both of these came with a drink. I think we both ended up getting the Lemonade to go. Overall our food was really tasty and we enjoyed our meal but they forgot to put the tziki with the gyro and that kind of bummed out my husband. Luckily we had some garlic aoli at the house and so we just added that. This grill is going to be a classic and Logan square for a very long time square for a very long time definitely go check it out grab some good food check it out grab some good food sit in a clean environment and clean environment enjoy the really cool décor that they have inside.

Yelp
My experience at Victory Grill was extremely memorable but in an unfortunate way. I visited Victory Grill around 10 p.m. on a Thursday night with two other people. Shortly after starting in on our food we began to be verbally harassed by a man who was not a patron of the restaurant. He initially asked us for money and when we declined, he began to make extremely violent comments toward us. He made his way around to at least one other customer before an employee asked him to leave. If you're not from the area - as we are not - I would not recommend visiting this restaurant after dark. We were able to leave without any real trouble, but the experience put a real negative twist on our evening. As for the food, it was pretty lackluster. We all ordered hotdogs (one of which was a veggie dog). All hotdogs come with "free" French fries too.
google avatar

Bobblehead B.

Yelp
It is fine for a quick bite to eat.. Nothing to go out of your way for. Standard Chicago street food. A hot dog joint that has no intention of aspiring to be a Chicago classic hot dog joint. It is what it is.
google avatar

Anamaria H.

Yelp
I've gone past this place a lot since it opened but I finally stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and was disappointed. Their menu is pretty pricey for burgers and hot dogs (not much, if anything, is less than $6). But none of it is gourmet. You can easily spend $15 bucks on a meal. My problem is their service. They seem to prioritize phone and online orders over in person orders. I ordered the loaded cheese fries and it took them over 15 minutes before it was ready. The woman before me (who had ordered well before I had come in) also seemed frustrated that her food was taking a while. Meanwhile, to go containers were being filled. I was the only one waiting for food and the line cooks were busy packing to-go orders. The loaded cheese fries were delicious but was it worth the 15 minute wait? Not sure.
google avatar

Ashley A.

Yelp
We hadn't gotten our Italian beef fill, so popped in for a late night snack. Our sandwich and fresh fries hit the spot. The only adjustment we'd make is to get the juice on the side as it was a bit over soaked toward the end. The giardiniera stole the show. What a treat!
google avatar

Stephanie E.

Yelp
This restaurant also have great food! They have several items on the menu but I would recommend their Char Cheeseburgers, Italian Beef Sandwiches, French Fries and their Rib Tips (all the items that I tried from here so far). Their ice cream is also good.

Alexis B.

Yelp
I ordered a chicken kabob sandwich and made sure it came with tzatziki and they confirmed multiple times. I even asked for extra tzatziki and they reassured me. (If you do not speak Spanish they are 100% talking badly about you and making sure they mess up your order and I can confirm this by the two times I've come here and they've made sure to laugh and hold my order so that it was cold and to get mad when I would ask about it.) I got my order and it was I think something similar to what I ordered but not what I ordered 100%. Whatever, the food is hot, that's why it's one star
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
This was a couple days ago btw....I ordered 30 mins ago.....I'm still waiting as I write this....people that ordered after me got their food. I only ordered two things. A hotdog and buffalo fries. I've asked what's the status on my food..cashier said "they're about to be done"....10min ago.... You can hear the music coming from what seems the managers room or the walk in nothing bad but annoying to hear two different songs..
google avatar

Just Ki ..

Yelp
Service: Poor and unpleasant. The cashiers acted like they didn't want to be there. Food: I ordered Chilli Cheese Pastrami Fries. It was a "greedy" moment lol. I don't eat beans and ok I'll let it be my fault for assuming/not asking if the Chilli had beans in it. I'm used to beans not being in it. No big deal, I can just pick as many beans out&still enjoy the meal right? Nope! Nothing about it from the Pastrami (large cut chunks) to the fries (how are fries not good?) to the Chilli itself oh and the Cheese... Who doesn't melt cheese? I didn't enjoy a thing. I'm giving 2 stars instead of one because the restaurant itself was at least clean. The food smells good inside but....yeah. I probably won't try it again.

Yelp
I remember always passing this place up while taking the Blue Line during its construction phase, thinking to myself, 'really? This area needs another run of the mill fast food grille?' Silly me, cause years later after a booze filled night, we were scouring the streets looking for a spot to get some grub. Luckily, at 3 in the morning, Victory Grill's doors were still open and their lights as bright as ever. As great as it was to see this place open so late, reading their menu was a treat! That thing is massive! I mean, they make just about everything for you, including boozy milkshakes. Oh the American diet sometimes makes me cringe, but at the same time it's truly a marvel to see such a powerhouse establishment like Victory to have a sanctuary that allows you to pig out in any form and shape. I mean we're talking burger and hot dogs, meat and meatless, gyros, salads, grilled chickens, Italian beefs, the list goes on. Even got a couple taps of beers right there! Like I said, a powerhouse. Honestly, a nice staple in Logan to get away from all the trendy restaurants from the area. Cause sometimes we just need a good ol hot dog for a meal. The most frilled no frills spot in town.

Yelp
Every neighborhood needs a diner where you can get a tasty grilled burger and fries cheaply. Logan Square has that in Victory Grill, and as a bonus, its in a gorgeous space with a classic 50's retro vibe. First, the burger, its tasty and char grilled, with fresh lettuce tomato and onion topping. Be advised to order it medium - the cook will grill it medium rare but for a burger like this I wouldn't advise it, it just tastes a bit undercooked. Second, the fries are crinkle fries - one of my favorites - and they are delicious. Just a little crispy crunchy on the outside, soft in the center. Finally, the Oreo shake. This is the finest Oreo shake I have ever tasted BAR NONE and makes a stop at Victory Grill worthwhile in its own right. The Oreo is finely ground and the shake itself is vanilla, letting the Oreo chocolate flavor shine through. It is superb. And the small size is plenty big for the two of us. But if you crave Oreo in mass quantities, by all means super size! We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Madison S.

Yelp
Y'all this place was needed in Logan and will hopefully do really well. It's quick counter service food and it's flavored really well. The food is super simple - but they've got a pretty eclectic menu. Also , the portions are really big - so be aware of that when ordering.
google avatar

Stephanie O.

Yelp
Stopped by while waiting for our super late friends to stop by. Food was amazing and the staff was good. Loved the burger. There was an incident/interaction that really made me decide to write out a review though... Some young kids around the age of 10 or maybe 12 came in and were talking to one of the workers. Not sure if they wanted food or just were lonely. Instead of brushing them off he interacted with them and Took the time to help them. It may not have seemed like a big thing to him but you could see a made a world of difference to them. We ended up leaving a nice tip and buying the kids some hot dogs. The cashier/counter worker actually thanked us for that!! Told him it was the least we could do and to keep on the good work it was so heartening to see the way he acted with those kids and really gave them his attention. . Always nice to see staff care about kids in the community.

Yelp
Glad I gave this new spot in Logan Square a try- Nice clean space inside and even a few parking spots along the side of the building. Price for the food is reasonable- everything is made to order with counter service. I had a Char Burger- it was good enough- however my wife had a veggie char dog- and we both agreed, couldn't really taste the char.. The french fries were more than ample- they were krinkle type not my favorite, but these were good. And not greasy! Sadly they feature Pepsi products- Mug Root Beer is ok with me, but overall not a fan of Pepsi stuff. They do sell booze in there- Late night I imagine it is a scene in there, but that would not be my scene. Victory Grill is a nice addition in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Erik B.

Yelp
Everything else was closed by the time I decided that some chicken would be good for dinner. I'd heard mixed things about Victory but they're pretty alright in my book for being able to get a half a Greek style chicken with salad and rice past midnight. The food is decent with good sized portions and it is quickly cooked to order. The chicken and salad with dressing tasted good. The rice had good flavor but the grains were kind of hard throughout. Staff is friendly and the inside of the restaurant was clean and relatively chill/quiet. I would probably eat here again and even give them a try the next time I feel the need for a hot dog, hamburger or gyro
google avatar

Anya B.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting much when I walked in, but I was impressed! This place has a huge menu and is very clean for a diner. I had the buffalo chicken fries, which were really filling--and the portion was huge. Fries were tasty, sauce was tangy, and the chicken was a little overcooked but not bad. Perfect for a late-night bite!
google avatar

Lisa T.

Yelp
Their Chicken Kebab Plate was amazing. It has rice, chicken and also a veggie. It's perfect for lunch and for dinner. Their fried rice was really good. It has a great seasoning. It's good that it was not oily. Their chicken also tastes good. Even though it was a little bit hard to bite, it was flavorful. It's perfect for rice. I like their veggies. It was fresh and tasted yummy. You can taste tomatoes, pepper, cucumber and many more. You will also like their Cheeseburger and Fries. You can really taste the cheese on it. The party was soft and juicy. It also has a veggie. Their fries were well salted. I like it too. Their service was great. The staff was nice and friendly. So I highly recommend this fast food.
google avatar

Baer L.

Yelp
This place is great. Clean, delicious examples of Chicago street food, very friendly and -- thankfully -- open late. Highly recommend the Greek and Mexican chicken dinners, but everything I've had has been excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
Came back today for the Gyro!! Meat was well done and crispy Chicken kabob is fire!! Love that they're open to 3AM
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
Hit or miss. Can be an awesome spot, depending on whose working. I have had awesome dogs, sausages, and shakes from them, but there are days you can go in order a Polish "Maxwell style" and they will ask you "everything on that?" And if you say yes.. you could get tomatoes, relish, or basically what ever comes on a Chicago dog... come on now, that's a Chicago original.
google avatar

Kylie S.

Yelp
The only victory that's happening here is the name. I don't know what brought you here to reading this review but hopefully you make one good decision and find one of the many good places on Milwaukee. Let's be real, you're not looking here for the precipice of gastronomy and yet it still disappoints. The fried food is gummy and bland. Sandwiches are dry. But that's if the place isn't a hot mess and you can get your food. I would really like a good place like this and have given it many chances only to be let down again and again.
google avatar

Myra P.

Yelp
The food and portions are good, the place is clean, open late even for dine in, and they have good customer service! The prices aren't cheap, but not too bad either.
google avatar

Maronda H.

Yelp
New restaurant located in Logan Square. I stopped in for a chicken pita and order of fries. Many variety selection to choose from off the menu. A bit pricey for my taste. I wasn't thrilled about the food. No taste very bland and my chicken pita was falling apart. At least I tried to support a local neighborhood business. Not a Fan
google avatar

Amy D.

Yelp
This was the grossest Italian beef I've ever had. I asked for cheddar on top and this is what I got. The gryo sauce for my sons gyro was runny and awful. The mozzarella sticks weren't fully.cooked. No thanks no victory for us on this place. Will never be back
google avatar

Ali R.

Yelp
Yo! I'm a hot dog loving guy. Hands down this place is by far my favorite in the world. I got the number 4. Polish sausage Chicago style mix with grilled onions. I inhaled it. The owner is a super cool guy, too. Old school Chicago mob type. Even gave us a free carrot cake. Will definitely be back again in a few days!! Sorry. No pic. Inhaled it too fast.
google avatar

Kate R.

Yelp
I love Victory Grill. They have a PB milkshake, their mozzarella sticks are just what I want (battered, not breaded), their mushroom burger is delectable for even a meat-eater, and I can't deny that the buffalo chicken fries make me day dream. My ONLY caveat with this place is that they still use styrofoam. Styrofoam cups, styrofoam to-go containers, I thought styrofoam was outlawed in Chicago?! Needless to say, I love this place but PLEASE stop dishing out your great food in styrofoam. Get rid of it, and I'm ya gal. 5 stars. Xoxo
google avatar

Olga Q.

Yelp
Can I give 10 stars?! This place isn't just fast food it's really really really good fast food! Victory is fairly new to the neighborhood and it's such a nice space and diner vibe. My favorite part of my dinner experience was just how clean and bright it was inside. My husband and I went overboard and ordered a char dog, grilled chicken pita, and char cheddar burger for just use two. We also had two drinks and three orders of fries. Our total was $26 which is great for the quality and quantity. Everything tasted amazing. The burger had the true charcoal grill taste with lots of cheddar and really every was beyond our expectations. They also have meatless options which include some seafood and veggie menu selections and lots of salads to choose from. I also have to note they sell booze! Beer on tap and boozy shakes! This place is fed going to be our new go-to. You can't beat the price and the options. Did I mention how clean it was?!?!
google avatar

Jemma S.

Yelp
We've been waiting for this place to open up for ages now! We excited went on opening day and we were not disappointed! The portions are HUGE so don't go too crazy with your ordering. I had the vegan hot dog, which is Chicago style (though the menu doesn't list it as such). They didn't have jumbo-sized dogs at the time, so they gave me two smaller ones which I thought was excellent customer service. The quality of the fake meat was so good I questioned it for a few minutes! I also heard the owner making sure that the cooks knew to cook the vegan food on a separate part of the grill, which is huge! Very appreciative of that. The fries were cooked and salted perfectly, and the banana shake was delicious. I hear the gyro was tasty as well! Vegans and vegetarians beware: There is a section of the menu that is titled "Meatless," however it also includes turkey and fish. Do not assume that the category is safe and is totally meat-alternative options. I'd love for them to change it to something like "Healthier" or "Smart Choice" or something other than "Meatless" to avoid confusion. 5/5, can't wait to make this our regular spot!
google avatar

Anthony N.

Yelp
$10 for a gyro sandwich that is enough for one meal. Service is not too slow if you don't go during peak hours. The taste was good but the bread was kinda dry.

Erik D.

Yelp
First time stopping by here this week. Not worth the $11 (including taxes) chicken tasted bland and so did the hot sauce on top of the hot sauce not being spicy. Service was great and the inside look great and clean. Better off going across the street to Wendy's and getting a chicken sandwhich there
google avatar

Cinthya Q.

Yelp
It's a great space and will do well in the neighborhood. Especially as the weather gets warmer and bars close down for the evening- perfect place to get something greasy or hair of the dog. They have a liquor license, so they have a small drinks menu and also offer boozy milkshakes. The burger was good and not greasy (which I appreciate) and the fries hit the spot. I ordered the chicken kabob, and it was delicious, again not greasy, and came with fresh Greek Salad. The one 'con' I would give it is that when we ordered my husband's burger came out a good 7-10 minutes before my kabob, so the experience was a bit weird on timing. First I watched him eat and then he watched me eat. Aside from this (which could have been an outlier situation), I would visit again. Quick, easy, and tasty food. Tip- they also have a small parking lot so try to get into one of those spots!

Yelp
Good new in lockdown land this place SLAPPS and is FAST! The food is very very tasty and made nice and quick for you. My friends and I took a trip down hotdog land here and inhaled every single one. Did we make a mistake and order 3 different HUGE things of fries? Ha maybe our new belt holes would agree but our taste buds say they were too good not to eat!

Kelly Z.

Yelp
Foods/Ambiance ok but won't ever go back. Tried 2/3 times. Service it terrible, rude and lazy.
google avatar

Zach S.

Yelp
Amazing one stop shop for all your faves. Good chicago dogs, massive burgers, Gyros are solid. Fries are great. Shakes are great.

Yelp
After attending an event nearby that ended after 1 am, I was starving and it was hard to find anything open nearby. Walking down Milwaukee Ave I finally found somewhere to eat and apparently so did everyone else leaving the nearby scene. Now the line was pretty long, but the cashiers seemed trained to handle the crowds, so the wait to take my order was not that long. They had offered several entrees, I opted for a grilled chicken sandwich and my friend ordered a burger with fries. My chicken breast sandwich was absolutely delicious! It was juicy and had a lemon oregano marinate taste to it. I was pleasantly pleased. I did try a couple fries and they were also seasoned fine. Overall, this is the perfect late night option when you need to feed your hunger.

Yelp
Love this place! Great quality food and hardworking staff, open late too! My husband and I stopped in here a few times and it is now our go to hot dog spot. My husband had a burger while I had their 2 hot dog meal and a shake. They cook practically in front of you so you can see that the burger was not a reheated frozen patty. Staff were so kind and friendly. Definitely happy and will be going there in the future.
