Victory Hall at The Boxyard

Edit: I went there again for the Seven Lions show. This may just be the best venue in Seattle!!! They had a watering station (as they promised), they opened up the back yard which was much larger than I thought. This venue has two outdoor areas and an indoor area, so much room I never felt like I couldn’t move around to dance! I went to an amazing show here last night. The venue itself seemed to have a tremendous amount of potential, but whoever was managing the venue itself has created illegal practices. They serve alcohol, both beer and liquor, and multiple times to multiple people they refused to serve water for free. I recognize they wanted to make profits off of bottled water, but not allowing water for free if you are serving alcohol is illegal. I had to remind them of that AND even show the liquor board website to prove it in order to get served water without having to pay for a bottle. I remember asking a lady who looked like she was in charge, who walked out of a back room, if there was someplace I could at least fill my water bottle with cold water and she told me to purchase another bottle of water. I purchased alcohol already at both your restaurant AND at the victory hall, it isn’t responsible to get drunk in public and illegal to not serve water to people drinking if they want or need it. If I happen to go to this venue again and am treated this way I WILL GO TO THE LIQUOR BOARD. I recently hosted an event at Victory Hall, and it was amazing from start to finish! Casey, Bailey, and the whole team were incredible—they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The space is gorgeous, and our guests loved the chic, cozy vibe. The food was delicious, and the AV/Tech team nailed the sound and lighting. Can’t wait to host another event here! If you’re looking for a stunning venue with top-notch service, Victory Hall is the place. Highly recommend!

Now open before home Mariners (Sounders & Seahawks) games, Victory Hall is a huge (9500 square feet!) indoor space with televisions, a great sound system and four bars for your pregame needs. Also, it's all ages now! Victory Hall is part of the Boxyard complex which also houses Hatback Bar & Grille and also has a large outdoor beer garden directly across the street from T-Mobile Park. Outside in the beer garden there were two food trucks (one serving paella, one serving tacos/burritos.) Inside you buy drink tickets then order from one of the four bars. My only criticism is there could be more cocktail tables inside as those were hard to come by well before the game but overall it was a great spot. With this new expanded space its a great option to pregame!

This venue is honestly 5 stars and its perfect for edm show. Saw audien here a few days ago and i Love the open space design, brick wall that gives that underground ish vibe, and easy parking. However…. The sound needs work. Big time. As previous reviews here mentioned, it sounds muffled. I believe if they can fix the sound this is going to be the premier spot for edm show.

Cool place to be at before and likely after a ballgame. Not a ton to do with families but it looked like it was a 21 year and older venue

Terrible venue for EDM. Can’t speak to any other event. Went to two EDM shows (Yetep and Ophelia Block Party) and the sound quality was terrible for both. It seemed like they maxed out the volume on the speakers to make up for the bad sound quality, but that only made it worse. Everything sounded muffled and mashed; if you’re standing behind someone tall, it’s even worse. For indoor shows, ventilation was also an issue. Unless the sound system improves, I hope this place doesn’t catch on for EDM—it will ruin good artists’ sets and leave everyone disappointed.

Turned off football game audio for terrible music. Food trucks outside take so long you could go home and make food and comeback before it’s ready. Their tablet ordering and text message system is the least efficient thing I’ve ever seen a restaurant attempt.
