Google
Nice park. Usually plenty of parking. Reasonably safe. Nice playground, but very busy. Not the best place if you are looking for peace and quiet

Google
Quiet and cozy park. It has more than one dozen cherry blossom trees, which is beautiful in spring. The park is close to Pasadena highschool and one elementary school. It has one baseball court used by Los Angeles little league. Lots of local residents play soccer on the grassland. I wish the park keeps functional for local without too many tourists :)

Google
Nice views of the mountains, and very lovely trees full of flowers. Decent size playground and large fields for soccer and baseball. The farmer's market hosted here always gets very crowded, so plan to park a bit of walk a ways.

Google
Nice park. Very open and wide. Plenty of parking. The restrooms smelled pretty bad. A real deep funk of urine..

Google
This is the place where they have the Rose parade floats, for limited time, and for a price of 20.00 dollars, kids under 5 are free. The latest you can view the floats 3pm. I got there late. But took some pictures, for you .

Family atmosphere, children and adults of all ages. Clean restrooms

Google
Nice, big park with many options for walking, playing sports and relaxing. Great view of the mountain.

Google
Beautiful big park, easy parking, walking & running paths, dog friendly, baseball fields, volleyball, basketball courts, clean bathrooms, tot and big kid play places and lots of trees for shade during hot weather.

Yelp
This has been the Park to come with my daughter ever since!! Now, I come here to have a picnic lunch, get some sun and relax at the park. The backdrop of the beautiful mountain is very nice. Fresh air, slight wind blowing is just too perfect!! This park is always busy with kids playing soccer, and there's track and field towards the back part. And Saturdays, farmer's market at the parking lot of the high school. Great place to pass time!!

Yelp
One of the better parks I have been to. Park is pretty big with good amount of seating and spacious. I did not see trash at all in the floor and the toilets were surprisingly well kept.

Yelp
I volunteered for Aids Lifecycle kick off training ride last Saturday. I've never been to Victory Park It's sits below the San Gabriel mountains. This is a massive park, they don't do parks like this in my parts of LA. There's a flag football game, softball games etc. We served riders sandwiches & A beverage station with 2 flavors of powder aid & water,of course. The riders were so nice polite and thankful. They have very nice bikes , serious Riders . We ended up with appx. 50+ mostly ham sandwich lunch boxes left over. A staff member took ownership & planning to take the food to a homeless NPO in skid row.

Yelp
Visited here for the first time today due to a friend's suggestion and was not disappointed! Lots of space here. Had to pay $6 for parking at a kiosk. I didn't see all the cars had the tickets on their dashboards so I hope I didn't misread the signs and paid $6 for no reason. I just didn't want to get a parking ticket. Regardless, lots of parking So much open space! I didn't get to stroll around the entire park but the fields included not one, not two, not three, but FOUR semi-enclosed baseball fields! SO much open grass. Also a good playground. I think one section was mainly for 2-5 year-olds and the other side was for bigger kids with slides, etc. Big plus: dogs are allowed. Just make sure they stay leashed up!

Yelp
Wow! Simply stunning! What a wonderful playground!! There were tons of activities for kids to do. My son (3) loved it! It was almost like 4 playgrounds in one: 1) a little play area with a play train and station and cool fire truck apparatus/slide 2) a playground for medium sized kids 3) a playground for bigger kids - or the fearless ones that love steep slides 4) monkey bars and a climbing area set away from the others so no one would get kicked by swinging feet (theoretically!) They also had an extra playhouse and swings and so much open grassy area for people to run around it was awesome. The parking lot is pretty decent, however the space can be a bit tight. There are bathrooms, however they're currently locked (covid precautions maybe?!) Overall beautiful amazing park. My son had a blast. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Great park for wee ones. Beautifully open views of the San Gabriel Mountains, along with a safe, clean, and impressive extensive large playground - one for larger kids and one for smaller kids, complete with added shade and trees. Lots of grassy areas, a baseball diamond (or two, can't remember), and BBQ areas with benches that are semi-covered. There is one main lot for parking that fills up fast on the weekend, but lots of street parking around. Swings are extremely squeaky, which gets a bit annoying quite fast - consider bringing a little can of WD-40 if your child is a swingoholic like ours. Rec center was closed (presumably due to COVID) along with the bathrooms when we were there around mid November 2020.

Yelp
10/10 My sister sprained her ankle here and I will never forget the memories Thinking about suing never mind it was me that did it (But actually it was a accident don't send child services I don't want to end up in juvie or something and I'm chill with my sister now so yeah)

Yelp
Since we are still in the C19 pandemic we had lunch here after buying take out food at Egg Roll Express. When we drove into the parking lot we didn't realize we have to pay for parking. We didn't pay because we sat down at the table ate lunch quickly and left. The park is very popular with families and there is a restroom available on the east end of the park.

Yelp
A nice park for children to play. The playing equipment even has tents over the top to prevent the equipment from getting too wet during the rain or to prevent the children from getting burned during the hot summer days. I've seen a lot of people walk their dogs so it is a dog-friendly park. There is a large parking lot to accommodate cars for events and activities held here. There is also street parking available. Inside of the Victory Park Center building are classrooms, an office, bathrooms and a gym. There might be a few other rooms. The area is definitely kept up. The bathrooms were clean and the grounds are well maintained. No trash anywhere. Nice place!

Yelp
I played basketball here as a kid, and by a twist of fate (one of many, actually) my bride took ballet classes here around the same time. That both of these events were decades ago speaks to the longevity of the Rec center, and Pasadena's commitment to youth development over the years. Upgrades to the HVAC systems have made it more comfortable inside the main gymnasium.... we used to have a large industrial floor fan whirring in the corner that we were pretty sure would slice you like lunchmeat if you fell into it. Inside the facility are a few other rooms for classes and meetings, and an office area. Of course, the Rec. Center is located in Victory Park, which features large expanses of grass for various sports (soccer, football, baseball diamonds), volleyball courts, a playground (veterans like me might remember the rocket ship that used to be here), and picnic facilities. I grew up in this park, and it's inexorably linked to so many childhood memories. As for the Rec center, a schedule of classes and events keeps things busy here most of the time. More information about classes-- and maybe even the occasional free pick-up game schedule-- are available during normal business hours at the Parks & Rec offices near the front of the building.

Yelp
My son did Flag football at Victory Park (through Pasadena Parks and Recreation). I absolutely love the coaches and the Flag football program. The head coach especially is professional yet so patient with the kids (and parents!), my son is getting so much better at the sport, he's made friends, and he's learning self- discipline and team work. Plus it's so affordable! I highly recommend the kids programs through Pasadena Parks and Recreation.

Yelp
Another great Pasadena park. Whenever I feel my neighborhood park is too small and need a change of scenery this is my second choice. The park is large and has plenty of parking available. Even on a busy Saturday you will surely find a space to hang with your family at a significant distance from others making it perfect during this time. I myself enjoy bike rides and walks to the park from home. The surrounding neighborhood and are is very nice. The concrete path at the park is great for walking, biking, jogging, skating, and scooters. There are several baseball diamonds, a sand area for volleyball, and lush fields for playing games. The trees are quite large and there are many shaded areas. During the spring there are rows of trees that blossom with flowers which looks beautiful. On Saturday's the farmers market is held at the high school right next to the park. I have not visited the bathrooms here during this pandemic period but prior they were very basic and usually had soap and toilet paper. If the recreation center is open they have nicer bathrooms there. I am happy Pasadena has so many nice green spaces for families to enjoy the outdoors.

Yelp
Annually visit this park for a ayce bbq burnout with the squad for Memorial Day. Ample space for any sport you want to play. There are two parking lots that you can park at which is great. If you plan on a barbecue, make sure to bring your own just in case others are occupied (always good to be prepared). What I appreciate is that this park has hand soap in their restrooms lol the small things stand out with quality when I go to Parks. Idk if it's just me, but that's how I see it. For this 2018 visit, weather was nice and sunny, which gave this year another 5 star in my book, and contrasted greatly to the week before where it was all gloomy and overcast. Can't wait to go here again, maybe even sooner than I expect!

Yelp
the landscaping crew likes to use the blower and spread dust all over the playground at 10 AM on Saturdays when the park is full of kids. I am assuming they are both stupid and lazy.

Yelp
This is a great park. I often come here and play badminton with friends as you can put up a net and have a blast! I see lots of families having picnics here on the weekends, playing volleyball and its a pretty dog friendly park. They also have a big track if you are into running. Most evenings there are school kids practicing football late in the night as they have amazing floodlights near the track. It's a clean, fun park....and you get a great view of the mountains! Parking is plenty on the street as well as inside the park (till 9 pm).

Yelp
Good park for kids to play. Big grass areas, play grounds, spacious and it wasnt too crowded when we went. Just enough number of people and kids there enjoying the park. It is relatively clean as well.

Yelp
My little boy loves this place, the best time to be here is on early mornings because he can play with children of his age. The play area is well taking care of and the people that I met so far have been pleasant. If you have a toddler and need to get him/her out to play and burn some energy in a safe environment I definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
This is a great park!!! You'll find well behaved leashed dogs here :) Tons of well behaved fun 2 legged as well :). Nice walk way all around the park, plenty of clean grass.

Yelp
Came here for my job Countywide Fitness challenge 2012, depending on what part of the park your heading determines how hard parking is to find. The park is huge, but we manage to find the Countywide fitness challenge, the challenge it self was very educational and informative. The park itself is very lovely, with families having picnics, soccer games, walking their dogs and way on the other side of the park by the high school is the largest farmers market I've ever been too. It's very family friendly. I intend to return for future farmer market purchases.

Yelp
I currently play volleyball and basketball here with a league and I do enjoy their services and their amenities! Their staff is nice and their indoor basketball court is great to play in! The floor does need to be mopped down a bit because I can't get grip on the floor.. or is it because I need new shoes!!! They have a large soccer field and is close to the schools! This is a great location for children and adults!

Yelp
Victory park is one of the best parks in the city in my opinion. Always clean and inviting. This park is a perfect picnic spot, play a game, or just be still and be quiet. I always enjoy my time when I'm here.

Yelp
MOVIE NIGHT WAS SOO FUN!! this park is dog friendly and picnic friendly too! My friends and I only brought wine bottles and snacks, but I saw people with pizza's, salads, sandwiches. The lobster roll truck was amazing! Simply succulent lobsters based in light butter on a brioche hot dog bun. The movie quality was also impressive. I would try to get there early to find a good spot on the grass. Blankets are a must! I saw people with low beach chairs which I thought was pretty smart. That way, you don't have to rely on your hands to prop you up the whole time. PS: DONT FORGET YOUR BOTTLE OPENERS!

Yelp
Back in 2006, I actually got a ticket here for "playing soccer in the park without a permit". Seriously. Swear to goodness. The park rangers actually rounded everyone up and gave us all tickets. Sure, they warned us, but who really believed they didn't have better things to do than giving people tickets for playing soccer in a park? Would they rather have us hanging out drinking 40s? That would have been ok, I guess. Today I'm happy to say that just about any day of the week you can find a pick up game here. Since the park leave the lights on all the time (duh - people are going to use a lit field) I think they just gave up. Anyways, the park in general great for sports of all kinds. Plus, there is a great farmers market on Saturdays. Still, since they gave me a stupid ticket, I can't give them five stars.

Yelp
A beautiful large park with a fairly large public play area, one sand volleyball court and a couple of large fields/baseball diamonds that are nicely grassed and green. I saw a couple of guys practicing soccer in the field when I was there on a summer afternoon. And I haven't been to the Farmer's Market yet, but I'm sure I'll love it! BUT NOTE: The rubber track and tennis courts are NOT public, they belong to the school, which unfortunately backs right up to the park. The public may use the track from 6:30am - 8:00am only, otherwise you'll need a permit. And the tennis courts require a reservation (no mention of a fee). The only reason I am giving this park 4 stars, is because it's close proximity to forbidden and unused recreation services. It was sad to see the empty tennis courts, shot put fields and track, and not be allowed to use them. But I will find other places to run, wouldn't want to get a ticket like Brian S. And I wanted other Yelpers to know too.

Yelp
This is a great facility for group activity: 1. Near freeway, 2. Near Pasadena - food and other logistic supplies are easily provided. 3. Park service on the phone (web site provides the phone number) are very friendly and are 'customer oriented.' Two thumbs way up for government staff! 4. Although it is fee based when guaranteed picnic tent is needed, but on a non-holiday weekend, it is first come first use basis for free. For available picnic site, check the web site on the day before use.

Yelp
Grew up going to this park.. Had lots of birthdays here.. Park is clean, safe, and well kept..
google avatar

Yelp
This is a well kept park on the east side of Pasadena. There are always tons of events going on from sporting to private family parties. People walk their dogs regularly here as well as exercise around the loop. I only wished they had doggy poop bags stationed around to encourage dog owners to pick up after their dogs.
google avatar

Yelp
Just across where I lived, really nice place to walk around and walk the doggie. On weekend it can be bit crowded but on weekdays you can have the park virtually for yourself. Very well kept and well maintained.
google avatar

Darius M.

Yelp
Beautiful and peaceful mountain view surrounds lush spacious fields and play areas for the kids. Only thing missing is good outdoor basketball courts!! Wish they can build these!!
google avatar

Ed A.

Yelp
This is a big park. There is a rubberized (don't know what the official name is) racing track. It's bouncy when you run, better for your joints and it makes you faster. It has a couple of baseball fields and some grills and also some awesome mountain views.
google avatar

Jessica Maria A.

Yelp
It's a huge part with space to fly kites, play baseball or soccer, picnic and exercise. It's always busy with activity, birthday parties and group sports. Wish they had more and cleaner bathroom facilities. I don't feel the kids playground area is 100% safe. It's not fenced for safety, too close to the parking lot, and jungle jim apparatus is not suitable for smaller kids.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow this park is one of the nicest parks I have seen in a while. It is located close to the 210 freeway so it would be great for a family gathering if you have friends coming from other areas. They have a large parking lot with lots of street parking and no permits required. The bathrooms here are clean and in good working order and the playgrounds for the kids looked well maintained and lots of fun. My reason for visiting this park was due to a Street Food Cinema event that was hosted here. Because of the large crowds I was glad that they had street parking. If you have never done a street food cinema you have to put it on your bucket list. When I first arrived they have two separate lines for reserved seating and general seating once you check in you get a wrist band so you are able to go in and out. It is great for families with young children because they were able to go to the playground and back. Once inside the event area they had 8 food trucks prices range from $7 to $14 so bring money but you can also bring your own food, Beer, or wine. The sound quality was amazingly good and once the sun went down the movie was very clear. I will advise you if you don't bring a chair definitely bring some cushion to lie on because the floor was really hard because the grass was not thick where we were at. Aside from that I am definitely doing this again and I will be more prepared.

Neal C.

Yelp
fun, clean with many activities, the play area spreads out quite a bit with fun bridge between little kids and big kids area.

Yelp
my local park... big and beautiful... plus there's a farmer's market here every saturday morn
