"Listen to the Buzz Open since 2000, Victrola is a fixture on the 15th Ave strip, and its mismatched outdoor seats are always full of patrons sipping coffee drinks and enjoying the people-watching. The cafe features art openings and local art on its walls, and the occasional live band on the weekend. At Victrola's online store, you can buy single-origin coffees and blends, including the popular Streamline Espresso served in their cafes. There's a roasting schedule posted on their website, so you'll know when to expect your beans; they're shipped within 12 hours of roasting."

A Capitol Hill institution known for public cuppings and a roastery that shaped Seattle’s scene. Recognized by Condé Nast Traveler and Epicurious, Victrola still delivers nuanced, house‑roasted espresso in a welcoming community space.

This review is about sustainability only! 😌 By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. While I so appreciate that you offer real, reusable mugs in house, I was sad to see that most folks staying for their coffee to work or meet a friend, were drinking out of single use plastics heading to the landfill. (Over 95% of plastics that we recycle don’t actually get recycled). Because you clearly have dishwashing infrastructure (see: the dish bins!), I wonder how you could better articulate for-here options to your customers? Maybe asking if they’re staying. Or promoting reuse on socials. Or sell aluminum canned water instead of plastic bottled. But we can’t keep normalizing this mess. Customers and businesses must be meeting halfway to chip away at the plastic pollution crisis. Thanks for considering my feedback—especially as a local shop in a waterfront city!

On my way to Volunteer Park, I came across Victrola Coffee Roasters and decided to pop in. I ordered a cappuccino, which came with a nice touch of sparkling water on the side. The cappuccino was fantastic! Smooth, rich, and just delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to sit and chat with friends. I’m really glad I stopped by and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area!

Surprisingly this place has really good oat milk. Tasted great when I added it into my golden turmeric chai. Warm welcoming barista with knowledgeable suggestion on drinks.

This place was terrible. The service was fine, but the lattes had barely any espresso in them, and the coffee flavor was very faint. I ordered an iced tea, and they made me wait 5 minutes for it to steep, and then they handed me what legitimately looks like water. It had the faintest taste of tea ever. It was worse than dutch brothers iced tea when they're in a rush. Don't bother wasting money here.

Great spot! There are 6 areas of various types of seating - including a set of single tables full of laptop workers - great place for working. Smells of delicious coffee- soy latte was super. They are have a nice tea menu.

I come here for the coffee alone. Great service, soundtrack, seating, rotating art… and I get a complimentary drip coffee with my weekly purchase of beans. What’s not to love? Yea…food could be better but- it’s a coffee shop.

In the age of coffee shops coming up with multitude of wild varieties and seasonal drinks, this coffee shop keeps it simple and limited to the classic coffee preparations. The decor is all wooden and the staff were very cheerful and helpful. We got a mocha and a drip coffee. It also has a bigger room at the back for larger groups to enjoy coffee together. The coffee was good especially the drip. But the vibes made it better. Well done.

Friends and I are here every Friday to play cards and have great coffee (and chai) I have thoroughly enjoyed sampling their food selection. I have yet to have something that was wonderful. The atmosphere is quaint, with a full functioning encyclopedia in their community room. If you're in the area I highly suggest stopping in.
