"Veteran Chef Thierry Drapeau expands on his ‘cuisine of the soil’ philosophy he first explored in his native Loire Valley. The art-deco dining room has floor-to-ceiling windows and velvet curtains that open to reveal his stage – an open kitchen. Here, he achieves classic French flavours using imported herbs and edible flowers that evoke their terroir. The Flower Bouquet set menus rotate with the seasons, are great value and matched by excellent service." - Michelin Inspector

VIE Hotel Bangkok - MGallery Collection (Bangkok, Central Thailand) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The very first MGallery resort on the Asian continent was VIE Hotel Bangkok. Elegant and practical, located steps from the BTS Skytrain near the downtown shopping district of Siam, it set the tone for Accor’s boutique hotel collection in Asia. The brand is French, and so is BOIFFILS Architectures, the firm behind the hotel’s modern design, consisting of two buildings — the first a boxy three-story structure, rising high on stilts with a striking infinity pool on the uppermost level, and behind it, a 26-story tower housing sleek rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows. Light-filled and outfitted in calming neutrals, they’re surprisingly spacious; even the most standard room features a daybed, a generously sized workspace, and a bathroom with a separate rain shower and soaking tub." - Tablet Hotels

Check in and check out was a breeze. Was given welcome non alcoholic drinks which tasted nice. The deluxe suite was had for 3 adults, where an extra bed was provided, was spacious but was freezing as the aircon control don't really work when we want to increase the temperature. It just keep blasting the coldest temperature. We had to turn the aircon off when too cold and turn it back on in the middle of the night to cool the room down again. Breakfast was only average as the variety doesn't change much and some food were overcooked being constantly heated in the bain marie. Cooked to order omelette lacked taste, but the egg benedict was cooked to perfection, just the hollandaise sauce looked a weird texture and colour but tasted nice. We had access to the lounge which served canape and drinks from 3 to 5pm and the food changes daily and was delicious and freshly prepared. Had a 3 course lunch included and was delicious. Used the hotel's complimentary tuk tuk to Central World and Siam Paragon a few times and was convenient, just traffic was bad at peak times. Had a 60mins massage inclusive in the package each and was relaxing. Overall, it was a good stay. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

The VIE Hotel is quite cosy, and the lobby staff are welcoming—they greet you every time they see you, which creates a warm atmosphere. The rooms are also spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a wide variety of cuisines thoughtfully catered for, and the attending staff were all very friendly and attentive. There were, however, a few downsides. While housekeeping did tidy and clean the main areas well, there was visible grime along the sides of the bathtub every night we stayed, suggesting the bathtub was not thoroughly cleaned. The hotel pool also lacks any shade, making it too hot to comfortably use during the daytime under the strong Thailand sun. Location-wise, although the hotel is close to the BTS, it is not a comfortable walking distance to the main shopping malls and shopping districts. In Thailand’s heat, a quoted 10-minute walk feels much longer and involves quite a lot of sweaty walking. The hotel’s tuk-tuk service only runs once an hour and can take a maximum of six passengers, so it’s difficult to rely on it. Booking an Uber or taxi is also challenging, as traffic congestion means it can take at least 30 minutes to reach the shopping malls. Overall, while the hotel itself is pleasant, we found the location to be the most challenging aspect of our stay.

Okay so our experience is a bit mixed. We stayed here as a couple for 4 nights and were booked in a suite. The positive aspects first: the hotel interior is nice and stylish, the staff very friendly and the rooms were decent and the beds very good and not too soft. Also, the bar was nice and the drinks are approved by my wife. The breakfast buffet was very good with a huge selection and the gym was very decent for a hotel gym and we were even able to join some classes. Now why is it not 5 stars then? Well, the ‚pool‘ is very disappointing, small, noisy and overlooking a major road and skytrain. Hence there are also not many sunbeds as not many people choose to relax at the pool. Given my experiences at other Bangkok hotels this is very disappointing. Moreover the restaurant selection is fairly poor. We were at the YTSB at our first evening and it was a good experience (though not as good as the advertising would suggest) but apparently no one else thought so as we were completely on our own. The location of the hotel is okay and by skytrain you can easily go to the airport if you can lift your luggage up the stairs. Unfortunately there are no good areas for food nearby unless you choose the shopping centres so you end up almost always using a taxi. Given that the hotel is the best rated in Bangkok on Tripadvisor, I would say that I stayed at better hotels here beforehand.

This hotel is absolutely a must! From very sweet and dedicated staff, to beautiful rooms and the most delicious breakfast, this hotel has been the best 5 star we stayed at while in Thailand. We loved the cleanliness, the decoration, the staff always ready to help us. Not only the breakfast but also their Thai dishes were delicious and healthy and the gym is an actual proper gym, above expectations for a hotel. We only spent 1 night here but cannot wait to go back and spend a longer time there, next time. Highly recommend!

VIE Hotel staffs were exceptional during our 5 days stay. From the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff, they rendered excellent customer service. The hotel location is ideal as it is just a few mins walking distance to BTS and malls were 5-10min tuk tuk rides away. Breakfast spread is wide however, the Halal Muslim variety could have been more. I would recommend this hotel and would plan my subsequent stay at this hotel for my future Bangkok trip. Thank you Vie Hotel for the excellent experience.

Well beyond expectations!!! Loved the hotel, the room, the service and definitely the staff who make the stay memorable. They made my 24th year wedding anniversary super memorable as they upgraded the room (gold accord member) and prepared a surprise for us. Thank you Pim!!! I love the friendliness of the concierge and the free tuk tuk rides. Morning breakfast is enjoyable and the chef that make the eggs were super nice. I enjoyed the little notes from our housekeeper Chit who will tell us the weather forecast. The hotel location is super convenient as well.

From the very first moment at check-in, everything felt warm and smooth. Special thanks to Ms. Jinny, who welcomed us so kindly and assisted us throughout the entire check-in process. She explained every detail clearly and made sure we were well informed to ensure a comfortable stay. Her service was truly outstanding. The hotel is strategically located near major shopping malls such as Siam Paragon and MBK Center, making everything extremely convenient for guests. They also provide a complimentary tuk-tuk service to these areas, which is a wonderful added convenience. The facilities are excellent as well: the gym and swimming pool are both stylish and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to an Executive room. The housekeeping team cleaned the room daily and even left a lovely touch each day: a pair of butter cookies with a flower placed on top (such a sweet gesture!). We did encounter a small technical issue in the bathroom late at night, but once again, the hotel proved its exceptional service. Special thanks to Mr. Jun, who promptly arranged everything and resolved the issue quickly and professionally. His responsiveness and professionalism in the middle of the night truly impressed us. This experience truly strengthened my trust in the Accor brand, and it convinced me to renew and extend my Accor membership for next year (as my current membership will expire at the end of this month). This is a true example of how great service reflects a great brand. Overall, this stay became one of the most memorable experiences of my entire trip. I will definitely return and highly recommend VIE Hotel Bangkok to anyone visiting the city.

Location was top, just next to a skytrain station, walkable (15 mins) to shopping area. Service was impeccable. Room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. Tried the restaurant, food was good but not wow. Rooftop is smaller than it looks on photos.
