Vien Dining

I had a pleasant dining experience here. The restaurant is nicely decorated, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a good variety, and the dishes we tried were flavorful and well-prepared. Portion sizes were decent, and the prices felt fair for the quality of food and service. Staff were polite and helpful throughout the meal. As a nice touch, I was given a flower and a small gift voucher at the end, which made the experience feel more personal. Overall, it’s a good place to enjoy a meal, and I’d be happy to come back.

Absolute GEM! My wife and I had the tasting menu and every dish out was so delicious and well presented. We enjoyed it a lot. When we were there, Hanoi was under a storm and we couldn't catch a taxi. The staff helped us to book a driver and did translation for us. Without the help of their kind staff, we would have missed out flight. I couldn't thank them enough !!

Booked for set lunch on a Sunday. The welcome is warm and the restaurant is lovely and order a mocktail and cocktail. Presentation is fantastic. I enjoyed the food greatly. The salads were good and our mains incorporated both western techniques with Vietnamese ingredients. Recommend.

Fusion restaurants can be a hit or miss... and sadly I think Viên Dining is a miss. I heard lots of hype for Vien Dining before , so I was excited to try out when they moved to a new location. I booked a table in advance , pre-order everything and even paid a deposit , but when I arrived , the food came out extremely slow (despite it's already past 8pm). I had to wait over 35 minutes for the first dish. Not only that , they only informed me of the out-of-stock dishes after I was seated at the restaurant. I expected better organisation and service if I already preordered my dishes. Now onto the food. Vien Dining had very creative menu , and made me wanted to order everything to try (which in fact I did , I think I ordered over 2/3 of what's available on the menu). However, the portions came out to be so small , and not good for sharing. And some dishes tasted so average and weird. The sea urchins pate tasted nothing like sea urchins , the fermented goat was sour and smelly.... while others retained the same flavor of traditional Vietnamese dishes but just presented it differently. There wasn't any dish that wowed me. The bills came out at VnD4mil for everything in the pics uploaded. I was not satisfied 😭

I and my mother had lunch here yesterday and we were both suprised with Vien! We had set menu for lunch and they were perfect! Very creative food. A lot of compliments to the chefs and of course our waitress - Ms. Ha, well trained and heartfully. We will defenitely come back. (Just one small thing: Speak louder girls! Everything was amazing and you should be proud of it!)

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely evening in Viet Dining. We had the taster menu with wine pairings. The food, wine, service and experience were superb. The care and attention that went into every dish was obvious. Resulting in an amazing variety of lovely tastes. We would thoroughly recommend Viet Dining if you want a truly excellent fine dining experience in Hanoi.

Wonderful dining experience. The starter was overall excellent, however the main dish left a lot to be desired. The restaurant also accommodated our birthday with a tasty dessert.

I had a great experience at Vien Dining. The space is cozy and relaxing, the food is creative and delicious. Special thanks to Tuan – the staff member who was very professional, polite, and friendly. Definitely a place worth coming back to!
