Drinks were the right amount of sweet with fresh, chewy boba. The fruit jellies in the tropical fruit tea were my favorite part. Fast and friendly service!

Google
The shop is clean, with a spacious and airy space. Staff are friendly and service is quick. I ordered brown sugar boba milk tea — the flavor was just right, and the pearls were chewy and delicious. The spicy Vietnamese bread was crispy with a nice kick, very tasty. The mixed rice paper was flavorful with plenty of toppings. Prices are reasonable, and the menu is diverse. Definitely worth coming back.

Google
Really disappointed. I picked up some yogurt here and when I opened it, the surface looked grainy with off white bubbles. It smelled a bit strange, but I second guessed myself and tried a small taste. Unfortunately, it was clearly spoiled. I actually had stomach issues after having their rice paper salad a while ago but didn’t connect the dots until now. This experience makes me seriously question their food handling and freshness standards. I won’t be returning.

I came here last week and ordered the fried chicken gizzards, rice paper,… they are pretty good. Staffs are so friendly and welcoming.

Google
I used to come here a lot a few years ago, and I still do. It’s called 'Viet Street Food' because they offer a variety of Vietnamese street food. I always order the Fried Chicken Gizzards (Mề gà chiên muối ớt) and I can’t get enough of it. Scallion Rice Paper (Bánh tráng mỡ hành) is really good as well. I’m still here for their drinks, but honestly, the food’s the real MVP.

Google
Everything great as always! Their coconut flan was so good just as the fried chicken feet they’re my fav!!

Shaa Dow

Google
Pretty atmosphere, the dishes here are good as well. But the boba I think it’s a little too sweet for me even I choose the lowest sugar level 25%. One more thing, the music here is a little too loud.

Google
The most amazing XOI MAN you'll find in town! Oh my goodness, the absolute best drink from Houston! It brings back such incredible memories of the vibrant street food in Viet Nam, just like the good old days!

Yelp
very cute and clean and yummy but takes forever to make food or drink. would be better if they made the food faster

Yelp
Cute Spot for a quick Grab and Go Snack/drink. I decided to make a quick stop and I'm glad that I did. The space is a quaint hole in the wall that serves authentic Vietnamese snacks. I ordered the Combination Sticky Rice to which I really enjoyed. It reminded of my mother's cooking and could've been even better if there was more siracha. I also ordered the jasmine milk tea to go with the food. Unfortunately, I was not a fan. The drink was quite sweet despite being half sugar and was extremely grainy. Service was quick and easy and my order came out relatively fast. Overall, i enjoyed the food and there's room for improvement for the drinks.

Yelp
Came by as part of my whirlwind exploration of the Hong Kong City Mall. Its a small, casual drink and Viet small bites shop along the outside of the HKCM. The cashier was pleasant and patient as I tried to look through their menu. Sadly, they were out of avocados so I couldn't get an avocado smoothie. I ended up getting the pennyworth and coconut drink, which in the picture looked like a coconut milk based drink. It was actual coconut blended into a pennyworth drink so that was a bit of a second letdown. The drink itself was alright, nothing amazing and more pricey than some other options around the area. It also wasn't very cold, which would have helped in this Houston heat and humidity. All in all, I found this to be a pretty meh spot but it could easily have been what I ordered. I'll have to come back another time to see if their other drinks or small bites are better!
google avatar

Yelp
The drinks were pretty average and a bit overpriced. The service wasn't bad and the barista was helpful navigating the menu. The space had no ac and had a temporary unit blowing air.

Yelp
Cute little shop for your coffee, boba and snack runs. They have a lot of backdrops that make the store very instagram worthy. Saw a lot of street food like banh trang, bo bia, etc; all were premade and packaged for you to grab and go. It looked like they had certain snacks (mainly fried food) made to order though. Ordered a bac xiu, which was good but definitely a lot sweeter and creamier than a normal one. Like most boba spots, you just order and they give you a beeper to alert you when your drank is ready. Overall, a promising and solid spot.

Yelp
Great little boba spot in the Hồng Kông 4 plaza. Colorful yellow decor and multiple instagram worthy aesthetics. Lines were out the door, but got our orders within 5 minutes. They have a great variety of selections and I order their viet street coffee. Very rich and strong coffee. Reminded me of regular cafe sửa da, however a little more whipped, creamy, and sweet. Would totally order again.

Yelp
Very clean little place that offers a wide range of drinks and street foods. I got the artichoke with basil.seeds and something else for my drink and I wish the artichoke taste had come up more strongly. For foods . Bap xao was good . Bo bia was ok but the sauce needed more flavor . Banh tran cuon: this was my favorite as it had a good balance of flavors (even the sauce) overall

Yelp
Cute and authentic place to have Vietnamese street food, boba, and study! A hidden gem, Viet Street is your one stop for all Vietnamese street food. This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I was happy to find that their food is both affordable and generous in portions. We ordered the fried rice paper dish, which was light, crispy, and fresh. The sauce bar that they leave out was very helpful as well, and we did help ourselves to customizing our food. I also love how they provide bowls on the side for people to split their food. The service was okay. It's a cafe style place, so there isn't much to be waited on. The guy who took our order was okay, but that's really all you need for small cafes like this. The area was clean, provided fresh water for guests, and a cheery environment. I definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
They have best artichoke drink in HTown hands down!! I've tried some of their drinks, their milk tea is good! Soursop tea and guava tea are really trendy and available here too! Delicious, not too sour or sweet. They're famous for their street food. Some of them are a lil oily ngl. Their rice paper salad is ok. But I love the variety of snacks/ street food there. Also the inside look bright, cute and welcoming.

Yelp
This is a cool spot for a quick grab and go lunch. Very limited seating space inside and maybe 4 or so seats outside. Service was friendly and swift. The restaurant is in one of the quieter plazas in Asia town. Now the food...got a nice spread. Quail...tasty albeit dry. Very flavor packed and fun to eat. Quail eggs. My fav of all. Just yummy single bites of goodness. Snail soup. Not sure if this is what it was called. But fun to eat and sooo yum. The sauce can be used with rice. Be careful when sucking though or might end up swallowing a whole one with shells. Almost happened to me. Corn with crayfish. This was surprisingly delicious. Fir desserts, we got the macarons and some young coconut jelly (not pictured). Both were just so so. Final grade: A Definitely a little gem in Asiatown for some fun viet snacks and grab and gos.

Yelp
Mango smoothie! Refreshing and delicious. The place is cute with the wall art and decor. People were friendly. Will definitely try their other drinks next time!

Yelp
The decor looks so trendy when I walked in! Service was normal, but still nice. I got the Rice Paper Salad, which is called "Banh Trang Tron" in Vietnamese ($10.00) & the Galaxy Italian Soda with Rainbow Jelly ($6.50 + $0.80). First off, the Rice Paper Salad was so delicious. So flavorful with mango slices, beef jerky, & quail eggs. The sauce that's included with this meal adds a tangy, but sweet kick to the flavor. The Galaxy Italian Soda was really good as well! Of course, it had a sweet flavor, but it wasn't overpowering as some sodas are. I would come back here just for the "Banh Trang Tron!"

Yelp
This review is based on the drinks and atmosphere - we did not buy food. I was pleasantly surprised by the aroma walking in. I often find bubble tea places that serve food smell very much like fried food (which I'm not a fan of), but Viet Street had a clean and sweet smell. There was a lot of seating and I noticed board games you could check out to play. The decor was modern. I ordered the Thai Milk Tea with Boba at 50% sweetness. It was delicious. I'm glad I ordered less sugar because I'm not a fan of super sweet drinks. I still felt it had plenty of sweetness though. My husband ordered the Tiramisu Milk Tea at 50% sweetness. He never orders drinks with less sugar, but also thought it was plenty sweet. Both drinks had a lot of boba, which is a rarity now, as I often find myself wishing for more boba at the end of my drink. I would return.

Yelp
Craving authentic Vietnamese street food?‍ This place really brings me back to my Vietnamese roots with their small dishes. Some dishes I recommend trying: Rice paper salad (banh Trang tron): my most favorite dish here!!! It's quail eggs with veggies adding to the crunchy texture of a spring roll wrap. Literally the best! Fried Chicken Feet: comes with salt/pepper and lime to add some umami to your taste buds! Stir fried corn: super delish and it had a crunchy texture with the added crab meat to it! The drinks were a bit too soda like for me in my opinion, but the small dishes were a win in my book! Ig: @piggieats_

Yelp
Love going to this place for Vietnamese snacks . The banh trang tron (rice paper salad) is delicious and fills the craving . The banh trang was flavorful and soft . They have an assortment of Viet snacks like banh thang nuong (Vietnamese pizza) , spring rolls , Vietnamese corn , etc . The fried gizzard was tasty as well . The Dreamy Sky milk foam was excellent and flavorful . All in all , a great place to get traditional and tasty Vietnamese snacks .

Yelp
Banh bong lan trung muoi: This dish was alright. I wish there was more cheese sauce. The bun was soft but it was not flavorful. I would not recommend to get the salted egg rolled cake here Sup cua oc heo: I haven't eatedn oc heo (pig brain) for over ten years. And the last time was in Vietnam. I don't think I found any oc heo places in SoCal where I live. I wish they put more oc heo in the soup but I guess that would cost more? The soup was delicious and has enough flavor. Chan ga chien: I think this dish is rather expensive for how much chicken feet they gave. However, I love the dish and would order again. They serve enough rau ram to go with the dish. My favorite is the banh trang chien don. I never had this in my life, not even in Vietnam. The toppings were filling (as seen in photo) and the price was fairly cheap. I would definitely order this everytime I visit this place.

Yelp
The floor is clean. I like the store's decoration. They have plenty of items in their menu. The staff was very friendly. She helped me to make an order. It was a little bit pricey, and the portion was not big as I hoped. The rice paper I ordered was $10. It was a little sweet and salty to me. Overall, it's a good place to try.

Yelp
AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE STREET FOOD! Love this place for their spicy banh trang trong (rice paper salad) and bo bia. I believe their rice paper salad is the best in Houston. I have had it at a few others places and it just doesn't hit the spot the way this one does. Definitely better than Bambu's. The drinks are so-so. I have yet to find a drink that amazes me.

Yelp
Viet Street offers lots of snacks and they're amazing! We placed the order on the phone and everything was ready when we get there! Snacks - Savory cupcake with floss and salted egg 5/5: heavenly sent! The sponge cake was super moist and soft. All the toppings really blend well together. - Fried combination 4/5: a good variety of fried snacks if you don't know what to get. Comes with meat balls, lobster balls, cheese sticks, and fried tofu. - Vietnamese hot dog 3.5/5: I think I ordered ham and cheese? Fillings are less than I expected and the dough is a little dry. But overall still very similar to the ones I had in Vietnam - Rice paper roll 5/5: love all the fillings in here! Very different from your regular spring or summer rolls. Also comes with a killer tamarind sauce Drinks - Tropical green tea 5/5: green tea was very aromatic. Loved all the fruit chunks in here. - Potted plant milk tea 5/5: milk tea is black tea based and it was super good. Tea flavor was very strong. The milk foam was rich and creamy.

Yelp
Having only tried their drinks, I wasn't too crazy about it. I had their seasonal Guava Passionfruit Green Tea and it was subpar. Neither the flavors of the guava or passionfruit really came through (though they do add diced bits of what I believe was guava). They were out of regular boba before 5:30pm on a weekend and any dinner rush. We were told after our order had already been submitted that they were out of both avocado and durian (Smashed Avocado Durian drink). The friend choosing the substitute drink was not refunded the price difference. The replacement drink, a Mango Smoothie, tasted mostly like blended ice with a hint of a single slice of mango. They ended up needing to ask for another drink because they didn't feel justified in spending $7 on blended ice. Another friend was warned by the cashier that their matcha latte would be very strong, which they ordered regardless. The drink leaned more towards being a more milk forward profile and needing more matcha.

Yelp
Not sure why but I feel they've been downgraded lately. The last time I went here I got my usual thai green milk tea and coconut snails, which was my favorite. But that one time turned out not so great. Drink tasted very powdery, it doesn't have the taste of a green thai milk tea like before, I wouldn't finish the drink which can tell how bad was it. Coconut snails doesn't taste new as some of the snails smell bad and had a weird favor. It still gonna be my place to go for some other snacks but kinda disappointed with that one time thou.

Yelp
Delicious boba! My favorite is the potted plant drink (add flan) so so good!!! The macaroons were not great and super dry unfortunately. But I did get the spicy ramen here once and loved it so I recommend that to anyone who likes spicy ramen.
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
We bought the flower jelly with cream cheese, cookies & cream smoothie (so smooth not overly sweet), frozen mocha, and the Royal artichoke 50% sugar. Everything was good. Order at counter and you get a pager when your order is ready-- I like that vs hovering the counter and trying to listen for your order. Cute plus in hk mall.
google avatar

Tuong-Vi N.

Yelp
I've only gotten their milk tea and longan artichoke, and both are some of my favorite drinks in Houston! The longan artichoke is prob the one I get most often, I ask for 50% less sugar and still is pretty sweet. Highly recommend this place if you love boba or want to try their artichoke drink which is more unique! Will have to try their street food next time I'm there.
google avatar

Yelp
The best boba store in town!!! A must try is the signature fresh milk brown sugar boba with flan. The boba is solf and sweet, and the flan increases the fatness in the drink. The tea drink is callee Supreme Tropical Tea(number 63 in the menu), and the first sip will make you "woa" with the sweet and the sense of tropical fruits and teas. Highly recommened!!! The store is located next to Hong Kong City mall, and you will easy with the shop with eye-catchy yellow everything of the shop. What are you wating for? Go try it NOW
google avatar

Leo K.

Yelp
Possibly the only boba joint in Houston that adds FLAN to your drink. While it adds a richer taste to your milk tea (kind of like how brown sugar does), it also adds a lot of sweetness, so be sure to reduce the sugar level of your drink by at least 50%. It's a bit sad that most of the stores/restaurants inside HK4 close by 6 or 7PM, so they don't get much traffic in the evening, especially for being tucked into the corner of the plaza. I would rank this place higher than a lot of the other boba shops on the other side of Chinatown, especially since they have snacks as well. So far I have only tried the Banh Mi Nuong Moi Ot, which is a toasted baguette, sliced up and topped with dried meat floss, green onions, and spicy mayo. Apparently it's a popular street food in Vietnam, and definitely worth a try. #231

Yelp
I came here when I was visiting htx last year and I still can't stop thinking about this place. I miss the banh trang tron, banh trang nuong, banh trang cuon, and bap xao. The flavors were sooooo good and flavorful. And the tamarind sauce for the banh trang tron is to die for. My sister ordered the kimchi fries and it came with an egg on top which complemented the kimchi and fries so well. The interior of the place is cute too. I can't wait to go back to this place when I go to htx again.

Yelp
The reviews here were pretty negative food/snack wise so I stayed clear of those. I try to give places a chance (and was interested mainly in the drinks anyways) - they looked appealing aesthetics wise. I got the potted plant drink - crushed Oreo with a little herb on top to mimic a plant in soil with milk tea as the drink. The place was clean and had a bunch of seating (no social distancing on the tables though...). While I was there for 1.5 hrs there was a steady stream of customers in and out and seemed very busy. They had free wifi and outlets so my friend and I plugged in an iPad and hung out for a bit. The drink was good and I loved the creativity of it too!

Yelp
I was in H town with my friend trying to hit up all the foodie spot and Viet Street Drinks and Snacks was on our radar because of their unique offerings. I came in twice on one weekend because the first time I was there, the kitchen was closed at 6pm on a Saturday night. Odd. Anyways I walked home with some coconut jelly that was really good. :) Second time coming here, I ordered the quail eggs crepe and it was delish! The only downside is that it took 15+ minutes to get my food and there was no one else in the store. Wished it was faster and more convenient. Overall I'll still recommend this place for the price and food. :)
google avatar

Benedict B.

Yelp
Came by myself today, happy to see a short line. I ordered the summer roll, combo fried snack and the fried ha cap with egg. I got a little nervous because I realized I ordered a lot. With a little bit of perseverance I finished everything and finished off with a jasmine green tea. I'll definitely come back to try more items.
google avatar

Silvermist M.

Yelp
Another delicious and must go place I found in Houston! Their drinks, their food, everything tastes good and looks good. The store is super cute. Will definitely come back and try more from their selection.

Yelp
Love the snacks. Bright clean atmosphere. Some items can be a little pricey but nothing too horrible. Cashiers are usually always friendly and efficient. :)

Yelp
Cute inside with so many options! Really enjoyed the viet street style coffee! Extremely nice service when we went here on a Sunday morning around 11.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute and fun place to go especially if you're missing vietnam. I tried rhe rice paper rolls and it was crunchy ans full of flavor! It took a while to come out though but im sure because there were other orders ahead
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very nice drink and snack place. Viet Street is a very small place outside where I usually get my Bánh Mí (Vietnamese Sandwiches). I really liked the decor around the store and the nice mural on the walls. I enjoyed the hot chocolate and also appreciated the cashier for being patience since I paid in change. I will be back again and recommending the store to friends
google avatar

Eliza L.

Yelp
I love there #25 Avocado Durian Smoothie $5.50 4/5 stars. You definitely taste the avocado & durian. It's a perfect combination smoothie. I also tried there #21 Strawberry Yogurt Shake $4.25 2/5 stars. It had a lemonie taste in it. I did not like it. Either the strawberry yogurt shake comes with the lemon in it. Or the blender they used prior was a lemon drink & they did not clean it well. Planning to come back & try there snacks.
google avatar

Vickie L.

Yelp
Everything was pretty decent and not too expensive. The coconut jelly was my favorite.
google avatar

Liz P.

Yelp
Stopped by quickly to try the Thai green milk tea with flan. Ordered and left. Didn't realize I didn't see the actual flan in the drink as pictured as I was far gone. There was hint taste of flan but was disappointed the whole flan wasn't there. Might have to retry a later time...
google avatar

Linda P.

Yelp
This small fast food shop seemed to have just opened. The kitchen is on the side door where the food comes out to the employee in a window. I ordered: fish balls, fish flavored tofu, and fried shrimp. My kids enjoyed the fish balls the most and my friend felt like the fried shrimp was frozen shrimp. The fish flavored tofu

Buckle D.

Yelp
Fun place. So many drinks to choose from. I got the supreme fruit drink. It came with apple slices, orange slices, strawberry slices, mango chunks, lime slices, pudding and home made coconut jello. It's so good and refreshing. Get 50% sweetness. Eat dim sum and come here for dessert. You'll be glad you listened to me

Tuyen N.

Yelp
I'm fell bad with the service. if u want to adjust for the sugar level u have to pay extra even with the food togo for the rice paper the price listed form the menu is $10 but u pay $12.50.. i will never comeback here.
google avatar

Diana R.

Yelp
I ordered a coffee frap for myself and they recommend a strawberry yogurt for my son. Both drink were amazing esp. my son's strawberry yogurt drink. I took some sip from his cup and couldn't get enough. The kid told me he doesn't want to share coz he loved it a lot. Those drinks they truly hand crafted and they are better than the Starbucks I have to say. Will visit every time I pass by.
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
I'm kind of a boba snob and i absolutely loves this place! I was intrigued by their brown sugar milk tea with flan and boba based on the previous reviews. It was the perfect balance of sweet for me, after stirred. The boba was perfect! Not hard, just the right balance of firm and soft.
google avatar

Gary L.

Yelp
Absolutely the best and freshest boba tea selections in Houston! Hands down!! I go out of my way to come here! They make their boba every day and it's evident in the taste and texture; so soft and chewy! It's perfect every time!
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
From Smoothies to the most deliciously odd treats! I usually get my tapioca from a place inside Hong Kong mall, but a few days ago my mom and I decided to try something new best decision ever! I had my usual a coconut smoothie and I was so amazed. The smoothie was so natural it was not overly sweet with processed sweets and I love how it has small pieces of coconut I can chew on. They also have versions different treats. What I love about it is that every time I go there is something new and interesting to have. The location is cute, bright, and welcoming. Oh and lastly the best thing, the customer service is amazing making everything so much sweeter.
google avatar

Vivian T.

Yelp
Straight up garbage! Ordered ICED matcha milk tea, received a warm half assed matcha milk tea. Cool thanks, not returning here. Update: So I guess the other half of your drink is watered down, if you ask for no ice.
google avatar

Monica J.

Yelp
Took them 20min to make 1 drink. Fresh milk with black sugar. What's so hard about it? Smh 3workers just stand around doing nothing.
google avatar

Chloe C.

Yelp
Creative and amazing looking drinks. However, the drinks lack taste. The drinks are either sweet or watery. The boba is somewhat watery it is like they forgot to add sugar or fructose after cooking. HOWEVER, I did ask the server if there is anything they could do because my drink was really watery and they offered me another drink without complaint or hesitation. Superb customer service.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
Recently my wife introduced me to Vietnamese snacks. The two dishes that I've been craving is the Bánh Tráng Sate Tôm (rice paper mixed with shrimp and spices) and chicken jerky with lime leaves. Both dishes are delicious and unique. This place uses tapioca style cups for their rice paper and re-sealable bags for their jerky. The cups are about $3 each and the jerky bags are $15. They have it readily available and the best part? They take credit card. They are located on the outside buildings of Hong Kong 4 strip center. I did not try their drinks, but it looks like the drinks were more visually appealing than tasty.
google avatar

Cassie T.

Yelp
I have never seen or heard of this place before but I'm glad I found it! The drinks are so good and carefully crafted. It does take a while to get your drinks but that's because the workers are making sure it looks good as well as tastes good. This place is fairly new. Would come back again.
