Vietnom Local Eatery

I’m a regular costumer at this restaurant. I eat here nearly every day, sometimes even twice a day. Either I dine in or I order their food on grab. And I can tell you: the food here is INCREDIBLE! Wow and although I eat so often here they maintain the level of food quality every time. I love their big variety in their menu and I love even more that everything is tasty. No matter what dish I choose, it’s always delicious. I cannot recommend enough to visit this place, try everything on their menue (also the desserts) and enjoy their amazing food while having a great service too! 10/10 recommend.

One of the most unique and inspiring things about Vietnom is that many of the staff are deaf or have limited speech. Despite the communication differences, the service was absolutely seamless. The team has created a thoughtful, efficient system that makes ordering easy and comfortable for everyone. The staff were kind, attentive, and incredibly professional, showing that great service goes far beyond words. As for the food—simply outstanding. I ordered the pho and the spring rolls, and both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ingredients tasted authentic and vibrant, and you could tell that everything was made with care and pride. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and full of positive energy. It’s clear that Vietnom is not only passionate about great Vietnamese cuisine but also about creating an inclusive space that empowers its team and offers something truly special to the community. If you’re looking for an amazing meal and a unique dining experience, Vietnom is a must-visit. I left with a full heart and a full stomach—and I can’t wait to return.

Came here for breakfast and the food was good and filling. We didn’t expect the portion sizes to be so big. Really good value for money. The lasagna is already good for 2 people. The vegetables were also very fresh. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice because it was quiet and the vibes were peaceful. Wish we had more restaurants like Vietnom!

Nice twist on classic Vietnamese dishes. Good flavours! The service is very welcoming and attentive. The space is large and comfortable. We went 4 adults with different dietary restrictions and all could eat. They do have vegetarian options available for many dishes. I was also carving a salad and I found one salad with Parmesan cheese. It was amazing. I will definitely come back. I came back to Vietnom and tried so their poke bowls. They are delicious. To place the order, use the QR code on the table. From there you can order, ask for the bill and call the staff.

We have been here 4 days in a row, that is how good it is. The food is so fresh and delicious. We’ve had the beef nachos, a rainbow poke bowl, the Ka Pow and the sushi taco. All have been delicious. The service is fantastic, the staff are so attentive. We spent 4 hours having drinks, dinner and playing card games with our friends yesterday. We never felt rushed or that we were taking up the table. I just love it here

Our new favorite Vietnamese restaurant! Been 2 nights running and probably be back again tomorrow too. Really really fresh food. 10/10 Delicious + quick service from super nice staff. Been living Da Nang a while and can’t believe I’ve only just discovered this place!! You must go try this place!

This has been my FAVORITE restaurant in such a long time! The moment we walked in we were a little skeptical because of how many white tourists there were (we are white tourists ourselves but have only ate local until this point). We are so glad we stuck it out and ate here. As someone who learned ASL in college I was floored that a majority of the staff were deaf as it is something I have never seen in any country besides the United States. It truly made my heart feel full. Let’s all just take a moment to thank the staff for all the hard work they do, as a hospo worker myself I understand how hard it can be and I am sure it is more difficult for those who cannot hear. I really enjoyed signing with the staff the entire night, it felt so much more personal than any other restaurant I’ve ever been to. Okay let’s get to the food…the food was a perfect blend of Vietnamese and western style I’ve ever come across. Everything on the menu sounded great so we had hard time choosing. But once we narrowed it down and the food came to our table we knew we were in for a delightful night. We had the Mi Quang Tron, Banh Hoi, and the Pork Boager, as well as the sweet potato fires. My personal favorite was the Boager - I have never had anything like it and would go back just for this (I would also probably eat like five of them). My partner really enjoyed the Min Quang and said it was one of his favorite Vietnamese dishes. We both thought the Banh Hoi were phenomenal and a great sharing dish. We tried two different desserts, the churros (which were our favorite of the two) and the Grilled Banana Ice Cream (also good!). I had a banana and peanut butter milkshake (for me personally could have had more peanut butter, but still amazing as the banana flavor was strong, which I look for). Over all 1000/10. We want to go back. We want this place in Australia/around the world. This group has truly done an amazing job and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so much to the staff and the chefs and just everyone involved. We appreciate you and the work you do!

A hidden gem! The space is peaceful, full of natural light and greenery — perfect for a relaxing meal or working quietly. I ordered a poke bowl and a kombucha, and both were fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. Plus, the staff were very friendly and helpful, which really made a difference. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for good food and a nice atmosphere."
