We had dinner at Villa Coucou quite some time ago, but the experience left a lasting impression. From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of. The host welcomed us warmly and seated us at what I consider one of the best tables in the restaurant—by the window. The view of the garden is lovely and must be especially beautiful for lunch on a sunny day.
The interior is modern and elegant, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we stayed well hydrated throughout the evening. A particularly nice surprise was discovering that one of the waitresses spoke Polish, which made it extra special to have a conversation in our native language.
There are two menu options available. The first is the Voorjaar Menu, offered in four, six, or eight courses, depending on your preference. The second is the à la carte menu, a three-course option where you can choose between two dishes for each course. With both menus, you can also order a wine pairing, with either half or full glasses, carefully selected to complement each dish.
We started with oysters and then chose the à la carte menu. We were served two amuse-bouches, followed by an entrée, a main course, and dessert. Everything was delicious, although we had expected the à la carte portions to be slightly larger compared to the Voorjaar Menu.
We would be happy to return to Villa Coucou.
