Villa De Oro Apartments

Lived here for a year before moving out due to finally being able to move into a house. This place gets a bad wrap due to the old management and maintenance issues but the new management & staff are great and do everything they can to accommodate the residents. The neighborhood surrounding this place is safe and quiet. Most of my neighbors that I had while staying here were quiet and kept to themselves but I never felt unsafe. Definitely worth looking into if your seeking a cheap apartment with few issues.

Beautiful apartment! Very welcoming. Ask for Jennifer !! She was very honest and understanding . She got me and my family in an apartment within a week ! And on the 1st floor. She was very accommodating and helped all the way thru the application process. So everything went as smooth and easy as can be. Jennifer went above and beyond and took that extra step as a leasing agent and I really appreciate her. I highly recommend these apartments. There nicely Remodeled , quiet, very clean! and have an Amazing management! Thank you again !!!

Just want to say the office staff Jennifer and Zoe were both super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Very thankful to both of them for explaining and assisting in every way possible. Their customer service is amazing!! They made sure we were taken care of from beginning to end!! Would highly Recommend this place, the prices are awesome especially for ppl on budgets, great location and nice property. In all my year's of apartment experience, this has to be the most amazing place all because of the staff!! I don't know why it took so long to hire someone as knowledgeable as Jennifer and her boss. I'd recommend this complex to all my friends especially those veterans who live near by.

Have lived here over a year. Move in experience was smooth, but extreme issues with bugs in units and strays all around the property. Only one elevator is operational but smells terrible. Leasing office personnel is away during office hours. Maintenance responses if answered are incredibly slow. Pricing has gone up significantly. Lease at your own risk!!

Just moved into our new apartment a month ago and I love it here. The apartments are beautiful. I love how there are many shopping centers and restaurants nearby. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and everyone sticks to themselves. They have a cute pool and nice clubhouse as well. The manager Gabby was very professional and friendly throughout the whole process of getting me and my husband into our new apartment. Savanna the leasing agent was very friendly and is always handling any questions or concerns I have. Overall the staff is great and helpful when you need them. I would definitely refer family or friends to this apartment!

We haven’t moved here yet but the staff is super helpful and polite. Alexis the manager guided my husband and I through the application process and so far everything has been smooth. They have done an amazing job accommodating to us being that we are moving from another state. I am super impressed so far with the price, unit, and community and will be updating my review after we move in officially. We are so excited ! Update to my review: We moved in and there were roaches all over our unit, and it smelled heavy of smoke, even though we were told this was a smoke free community! Alexis the property manager was extremely rude to us and didn’t have our stuff including keys ready for move in even though we had paid rent for the end of the month and beginning of the month as well. She also did not apply our rent to the correct amount so we ended up being charged extra by their third part rent portal (we never got this portion of our money back!!) The pool was green, bird poop all over the property, stray cats roaming all around the property & very unsafe neighborhood with car break ins happening all around. We ended up having to leave and received our partial refund because of the unsafe living conditions. I wouldn’t recommend living here but I do have to say that upper property management is very understanding and seem like they care more than Alexis and other onsite employees. I would definitely check out some of their other properties but this property really needs some work before they continue to accept new leases! I am so thankful that we were able to find a new place to live, otherwise it would have been a nightmare of a year!

They nice apartments. There are some problems they are working on. They have fixed some of the parking lot so far. Need a better way to get in the clubhouse to put money on Laundry card. And maybe a gate at the front or something to keep non residents out of pool residents are paying for! Some problems with Elevator #2 as well. They're definitely trying to get it fixed though.

Been a resident for a 1 year now, and so far it's been a good experienc!. looking forward to seeing what more fun stuff they have planned for us residence. just hopping for the pool to be open a little more this summer. :)

The new management has been great and helpful crystal is amazing and has been helpful with any issues we have had.

Please do NOT waste your time and money here . All the apartments are really old most growing mold and the maintenance just cover over it when remodeling . When I first moved in I did a virtual tour bc my apt was supposedly getting fixed up for move in . When I moved in after signing my lease (i signed bc I was in urgent need of a home) I found roach droppings and dirty walls and everything was so cheaply installed . After a few months they changed management and got bought out by a new owner . In the process I found out they stole & completely wiped all evidence of me paying a money order security deposit of 950$ , I paid the money order in cash so I don't have the bank statements to prove which I was at fault for but I trusted them with my money . My first apartment they seemed so nice I remember talking to a pregnant woman named gabby and she got me all set up . Moving here was the biggest mistake because they upped the prices since new management and us residents get the sh*t end . Keep your receipts and bank statements !!!!!

If I could rate 0 stars I would! I've lived here for years, always had problems with management they can never hire good people! When I moved in my apt had damages from the previous tenant they never ever got fixed, holes were covered with covers for a light switch like wtf?? Mold like crazy in my Rr from previous tenants and I was told it would be fixed when the new management came, still only thing that got fixed was my window that' was broken for 4 years and my toliet. I'm so glad to be moving .. I really can't believe these apartments are that much of trash! We all got scammed since we were young and trying to start off, more than one person has been scammed on these apartments they take your money like crazy but don't fix NOTHING. I was in debt for years because gabby the old manager charged me ridiculous for stuff she's never came to fix !!!!! So now with facing eviction and all that I'm just glad to be moving away and never looking back here. They took my deposit as well as everything else that was promised when I'd move. They didn't even come to look at the mold yet !!!! there's bird poop EVERYWHERE cameras NEVER work and people shoot guns here almost EVERY night. No security or nothing . And for some odd reason I can hear the people next door talking perfectly like if they were in my home! Since they can't work nothing out with me since I've been here for almost 5 years, I'm going to expose. DONT MOVE HERE!!!

If ur planning on moving here, take notes first the electricity bill is outraged im getting charge 160$ for electricity snd i live in a studio my water bill is 80$ and its just me , the new managment team pays little to no attention to my unit , ive been with no ac for a month now and they havent done a thing , ive tried calling them while im at work and they dont answer this place is horrible

Horrible!! Hot water only last 4min , no security cameras covering parking lot, trash is always on the lawn, you can hear your upstairs neighbors conversations perfectly for som reason, horrible paint job, limited washers and dryers. You have to pay $10 for a wash card. Dog poop everywhere .

Worst place I've ever lived. Two weeks in and I already had rodents and I'm a clean person. Maintenance promised their poison would kill the rat. Nope. Ate around that and the problem persisted. I left countless noise complaints about the upstairs neighbors but nothing was EVER done about it so if you want a team that cares, this isn't the place for you. Some dirty old man tried breaking into my apartment and successfully pushed his weight into my door and nearly walked in as one of my friends was leaving and we had to call the cops. Cops never came and the next day when I complained to management about this man they did absolutely nothing. No investigating. But they swear by these "security cameras" that they don't even have facing the units. And let's not forget that they didn't even refund me my security deposit when I moved out. No reason as to why. They just never gave it back to me. And I'm already working with a lawyer to get my deposit back. I'd give this place ZERO STARS if I could. And let me mention how they rotate through managers and staff more than you switch your underwear. These people screw your over to take your money and don't actually care about you. Stay away!!!

The elevators are great! I live on the third floor and they make it easy to carry my groceries. They also have an awesome courtyard covered with trees and filled with BBQ pits. I do not plan on moving anytime soon! Great community!
