"Built in 1914, the villa at Heiliger See has been tastefully renovated. Whether you opt for the Salon Alter Fritz, the Elefantensalon or the Grüner Salon, each room has its own charm. Then there is the gorgeous leafy terrace, with its venerable old trees – a picture-perfect location that is worth the journey in its own right! The dishes served here are based on traditional German cuisine with a modern twist – available as a set menu (with a four-part starter) or à la carte (including vegetarian/vegan options). The food was good and the place has an amazing view and is cozy. What wasn’t the best part of the experience was an hour long waiting for our meals. Then when we asked for the bill they hadn’t brought it until we asked again. Over half of the staff doesn’t speak English so we had no idea if they were sorry for the inconveniences or not. Nice restaurant but there’s probably a lack of communication between the management and the staff and between the staff itself.

I was somewhat disappointed since I have heard so much about Tim Raue’s restaurants in Berlin and the dishes we ordered were average at best. The villa is stunning however and the location of the restaurant is breathtaking overlooking the lake. But I wouldn’t come back nor recommend it if asked.

Location, service and food: excellent. We went for the menu which offers a really nice selection of 5 starters, all with a unique combination of tastes. Then a German cuisine classic full of flavour and quality, followed by dessert. Alongside the food, the prime location is worth a visit, with okay prices and wine at the glass available.

We’ve repeatedly visited Villa Kellermann and always enjoyed it. The location is great both inside and outside, the food is excellent (which is expected if Michelin starred Tim Raue is involved) and the staff lovely. Our only complaint: it’s hardly possible to get a table spontaneously on a weekend, though it got significantly better with the introduction of double seating. Conclusion: strong recommendation if you like to enjoy Classics from the German kitchen in a great atmosphere.

What a beautiful location and decor! Big fan of The Tim Raue restaurant in Berlin. But my experience with the food in Villa Kellermann was shockingly dissapointing. We tried 5 dishes in total. Every dish was a big dissapointment. Nice presentation but canteen like tasting food. Thick flour tasting sauce in every dish. Salt for taste and i suppose thats it. The wine was what we enjoyed at least. Great service, thank you. But I will definitely not recommend this place for dining.

Fantastic service, Fantastic atmosphere and Fantastic dinner. We went to the Villa Kellermann for the MAZ-Menu and were stunned. I rarely had such a lovely dinner for such a fair price. 80€ for essentially 5 courses, great wines included. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great place for a romantic dinner. Also perfect for a night out with the family, including kids of any ages. The staff is friendly and very attentive, the food is great and the view over the lake is amazing at sunset. Definitely would visit again when in Potsdam.
