Villa Michelon

Been travelling across Brazil all week and managed to stay at this hotel on the final night.|I was not flying back to São Paulo until Saturday afternoon so had a chance to walk around the place.|This has to be one of the most picturesque places in the world. The views are stunning especially early morning as the mist is clearing from the vineyards. |The hotel is amazing. With facilities for the whole family including swimming pool, hot tub and a well equipped children's area. |We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening as we had arranged a meal with a customer, but the breakfast was excellent. |I look forward to returning to this hotel in the future

The location is great and so is the staff, however the hotel needs a renovation. The room and surroundings are old. |Bed was very comfortable.|Small details such as amenities (shampoo on a tiny plastic bag?!) make a huge difference! |Another detail, some staff were incorrectly wearing masks (covering their mouth only) the entire time! At the Front desk and the restaurant. |Arnoldo from the bell staff was incredible!

This is a very nice place for a hotel. I have been there for a conference, but I think that it is a very good place for families. It is not so nice if you don´t have a car, since it is far from Bento Goncalves. The hotel is very clean and wifi connection is OK. The (mainly Italian) food is not very interesting: no fish during the whole week! Breakfast is correct except for coffee and tea, and the choice for fruits is limited. Very nice trails to walk around!

Had a great time in the area and the Hotel was very nice. Loved the helpful staff, delicious breakfast and the fact that there was so much to do there. We were able to go on a hike and play some soccer as well. The game room is specious and fun as well. ||Also, at check out we were given some fresh local grapes for our trip which I thought it was a nice touch.||I highly recommend it

If you have been to Italy, you’ll know this kind of hotel. Its 90% amazing but a little run down. We may have been put in an old room as we had our dog with us - but it was still adequate. It really stands out for location and breakfast. We didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant as it looked like daytime it was so bright - but no bother as there’s an excellent pizzeria 200 meters away. Would stay there again.

We were there for the 90th birthday of my mother, a family group of 17! ||||All the staff was realy kind, making you feel at home! The rooms are confortable, nice shower and heating. The whole group was put together in rooms in the same corridor, so that we could enjoy each otherś company and proximity.||||The breakfast was very well served, with cakes, savories, local sweets and all sorts of breads. It was personally supervised by the owner. ||||The recreation area had a fire place where we could stay while the youngsters were enjoying themselves. ||||In the lobby there were always fresh cofffee, warm wine and fruits from their own garden. ||||When we left, each room received a pack of mandarines (bergamotas as they call them in the south) with a very nice message: "Thank you for staying with us, we want you to take home some taste and smell from our hotel".||||The hotel is located just by the Vale dos Vinhedos, where you have many wineries and good restaurants. But in this region, it is recommended to have a car, so that you can enjoy the area: the Caminho das Pedras is also close by.||||It was a wonderful stay!

This was our first visit to the area, and we were very pleased with this hotel. Rooms are spacious, grounds are very nice, staff is great. We don't speak Portuguese though we are traveling with some Brazilians. Everyone has been most patient with us, and very attentive.||||Would definitely recommend this hotel. ||||There are also some nice restaurants nearby that you could walk to.

The hotel is conviniently located in the 'Vale dos vinhedos' and is close to several wineries. It is not a new hotel and the decoration is a bit dated, but the rooms are big and comfortable. It is a good place for families with children. The staff are extremely nice and helpful.
