Villa Montebello B&B

We enjoyed every moment of our 6 night stay at Villa Montebello! Thomas is a wonderful host - nothing is too much trouble, and we enjoyed his hospitality enormously. His wonderful staff (Anna and Marta) were also fantastic and we loved the delicious breakfast they provided for us each morning outside in the lovely courtyard by the pool. The villa is immaculate, and very stylishly decorated - we especially loved our room with direct access to a beautiful garden area. The location is perfect - you are only 15 minutes from the beach and the beautiful town of Pietrasanta where we visited several times. We also loved eating at the local restaurants that Thomas recommended - they were very authentic, had incredibly delicious food and were in the most picturesque locations with far reaching views over the valley towards the sea. We appreciated being able to walk to the restaurants from Villa Montebello instead of having to drive. It was also a pleasure to be in the hills for the peace and quiet and and morning walks in this beautiful part of the world.

Words alone cannot do justice to the beautiful detail which Thomas has put into this fabulous bed and breakfast. Everywhere you look things are done and finished off to perfection, the layout of the rooms, the soft furnishings, the quality of the bathrooms and the pretty garden grounds and surrounding area. The pool is the perfect size for the number of room and guests and the pool room has everything it you need. Breakfast must be one of the best we have ever had, Thomas and the girls are just so kind and generous with their time and their food! Thomas is one of the most amazingly kind and helpful hosts we have ever encountered and we felt truly privileged to stay in his wonderful property. He cannot do enough for you and his other guests. The roadway up to the villa can be challenging depending on what size of vehicle you have but Thomas is there providing guidance and help on your arrival (he meets you at his meeting point in order that he can be there for assistance once you leave the main road. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend that if you want a piece of heaven, Thomas' villa is the place for you. We were already planning our next visit before we had even left. We cannot wait to see you again Thomas! One more thing, Thomas' coffee is the best we have ever tasted!

What a treat! Villa Montebello B&B is one of the most special places we stayed over the years. It starts with the warm welcome by the owner Thomas. He’s a true host with lots of tips, stories and good humour. Together with his staff, Marta and Anna, the perfect team. The room at the ground floor is specious and cosy. The pool is superb and the breakfast extensive. And not to forget the extra facilities like a washingmachine and a fridge. Definately a place to recommend!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay at Thomas’s beautiful B&B. The photo’s do not do it justice, to how incredible and clean the house is. Thomas also went above and beyond for us, even helping us when we got a parking ticket!||We wanted a quite beautiful spot and that is exactly what we got! We could not recommend Villa Montebello enough.

A luxurious villa that is beautifully restored set in Tuscan hills sounds pretty good. What makes it excellent and a truly relaxing experience is the quality of service, attention to detail and charm from Thomas, Marta and Anna. We stayed 5 nights having had a wonderful time and will return. Thank you Thomas.

This place is perfect.||||The setting, the building, the rooms - everything was wonderful. ||||The breakfast was by far the best we had whilst travelling through Tuscany. ||||Thomas was a sublime host and his staff, Anna and Marta were incredibly helpful and welcoming. ||||We loved the place so much that we even got engaged there! Amazing place. We have been to many small B and Bs before but none as well presented as Villa Montebello. Thomas has worked very hard in his first year to make his place special. It’s the little touches that you start to notice during your stay. Attention to detail shines through. The bed was one of the mist comfortable we have ever slept in. As I said in my title Fantastic place.

We stayed at Villa Montebello last September 2019 and had a wonderful time. Thomas, Marta and Anna were wonderful. We were headed back when the Covid-19 hit. We will return when EU allows. Miss our friends. All the best from Galveston Island Texas.
