Villa Monticello Boutique Hotel

One of the best experiences. More like a 4.5 but what the heck. The place was lovely. The room was great. Mattress was firm. Shower was great. Tab was huge. Customer services were awesome. Heck, the manager, Frank, a really hospitable guy came to say hi after talking to him on the phone and making sure we had everything we needed. He made us feel comfortable and even made sure I got a special order that they rarely make in the hotel. He went out his way to make sure we were not charged what we did not need to be charged. Talk about integrity! The hotel is very close to the airport. Once in the hotel there are banks around where you can get your cash from ATM. There is a supermarket nearby and a pizza joint. I had an issue with the TV location on the room because the bed was in the way. The stairs would be uncomfortable for a disabled person.

Outstanding!|We spent the last 4 nights of a 14-day first time visit to Ghana at the Villa Monitcello. It was the smallest of the four hotels we stayed at, but definitely the best. Villa Monticello is a boutique hotel, with 16 distinctly different suites. We were warmly welcomed to Ghana and to the hotel by all of the staff. Special shouts to the front desk administrators Zeinab Wallace and Ms. Eva for responding with professional promptness to every request. The wait staff were very good, especially Guthrie, Elijah, and Michael (Mikie). Overall, we enjoyed dinner at the restaurant better than the breakfast buffet. Also, enjoyed the excellence performance by Mami in the courtyard. The Airport Residence area is not far from major attractions and feels very safe and middle class. We used Uber and paid less than $5.00 US to go to various places not far form the hotel. Also, special shout out to the excellent bellhops, who were present to help us luggage and with Uber. Also, the gate security made us feel safe going and coming back to the property. Couple of Tips for Management: Black Americans like to use face cloths and providing more than one would be helpful. Second, there were a couple of times when wait staff, not mentioned here, did not quite understand what was being ordered for breakfast and lunch. For example, my wife was brought a ham sandwich, when she ordered a hamburger. Fortunately, Guthrie stepped in and got the order right. Villa Monticello is a great place to stay in Ghana, and we can't wait to seek accommodations there when we return to Ghana.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept!|Customer service is top notch. All the staff are wonderful and went over and beyond to meet our needs. While all are great, Mack is our favorite 😊The only downside is their is no elevator. I would DEFINITELY recommend this boutique hotel.

The staff was very hospitable during my stay. I loved my room; it was decorated so nicely and i got great sleep. Would definitely stay here again!

I got there really late at night and left early in the morning. The check in staff was lovely. The highlight for me was the shower. The pressure, temperature and flow were amazing.

Great staff. Beautiful room. Good food. As a guest you feel welcomed the minute you enter the property. And the location is very central. Close to the airport.

Location of the hotel is great, close to the Accra airport My room was rather noisy despite being well decorated The staff was very polite and helpful BUT the quality of the food and beverage was really not up to the standard. Breakfast choice was really limited The place is somehow charming but food kills the whole experience.
