"Villa Morelia exudes a certain discreet charm. The setting offsets the refined, tasty and inventive market - based cuisine. You can really taste the freshness and savour the flavours." - Michelin Inspector

Wow just perfect. Came with a group of fellow drivers to the mountains to enjoy some french roads. The location was perfect. Rooms always clean and organized well. Loved opening the doors for fresh air in the morning. (Rooms do not seem to have ac). Fan was supplied and opening the door kept air moving and cold during august. Service was lovely. Outdoor bar was fun and relaxing. Breakfast was given plenty of options and madam provided fresh coffee. Dinner was a set menu by the chef who was kind enough to accommodate for my nut allergy. All food was classic french and very delicious. Overall would love to stay here again and highly recommend.

This hotel is a lot like a good movie that could have been best ever. The service is first class. The location is top notch! The pool is heated. The dinner was lovely. The driveway is majestic if not overgrown with lots of parking. You can walk right to downtown. Our bathroom was really actually really nice and modern. The room was big. Loved the wood floors. The pool could use a cleaner machine because it’s starting to turn the tile green. There were big stains on the chair in our bedroom. The mattress was layers of foam under an old mattress. I would have replaced all that. Still the bed was soft but kind of clapped out. Several broken door handles in the hotel, not sure why not fixed? The secondary lights in the hallway didn’t go on, just the recessed too bright lights. Again, the service was great and we would return. These are small issues since the hotel and staff were so lovely. Nothing is perfect. We would come back.

We went to the town to attend to an authentic annual Mexican festival. The accommodation was excellent and the owner was really attentive and friendly with a great attention to customer experience. The surrounding gardens were a pleasure to sit and relax drinking a cold bier. The restaurant in the Chateau was way above standard. A great place to base yourself to explore the surrounding areas. Will go again and try and room with a balcony.

I had one of the worst customer experiences of my travels here. Due to a mistake, I accidentally cancelled my booking on booking.com. I still came to the hotel, explained the situation at reception, and paid the full price for my stay in cash.||Weeks later, the hotel insisted on charging me a cancellation fee on top of the payment they had already taken. I contacted them repeatedly (over a dozen messages) and never received a single response. This shows a complete lack of professionalism, transparency, and respect for paying guests.||This is not how a trustworthy business treats customers. I will never stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values honesty and fair treatment.

A fantastic hotel which we found by chance. The room was superb, with great outlook to garden and mountains. The pool and outside bar very cool! Robert and his team were superb and Robert arranged to get my car washed as it was dirty. Food as spectacular with an extensive wine list. We stayed for one night, we will he back and will stay longer next time. Thank you for a superb stay. Steve and Jan.

Beautiful hotel. Full of charm. Beautiful grounds and pool. Outdoor bar with fantastic views. The food is absolutely outstanding. We have stayed in rooms 4 and 201 on the two occasions . They are beautiful and well equipped. I'm looking forward to our next visit. Thank you

PRO'S: Villa Morelia has the valley's only excellent room facilities. Large modern rooms, excellent views and lovely romantic grounds. The complimentary full breakfast was excellent. CON'S: Hotel service did not offer to help with luggage SUMMARY: Vila Morelia Hotel is an excellent place to stay in this valley.

Jausier is in a valley surrounded by snow capped mountains. A river runs through it. Villa Morelia is a well designed hotel with an excellent restaurant. We enjoyed 2 creative and delicious dinners and 2 buffet breakfasts. Our room overlooked the garden with a snowy mountain backdrop. It was very comfortable and worked well for us. ||There are many walking options on fairly easy trails though more difficult routes abound . We felt as we made a discovery of this location.
