Villa Petriolo is a beautiful property and perfect for relaxing. Both the pool(s) and the grounds are truly exceptional. The rolling hills - breathtaking. The room was reasonably priced for the accommodation. House keeping and service are slow and ok. On the weekends, only one restaurant is open. Aside from that, there is very limited food/snack options (room service has dismal options). We loved the restaurant and our waiter (Niccolo) was incredible!!!! He truly was phenomenal. But… lunch and dinner were both expensive. I would HIGHLY recommend a rental car if staying at this property. The hotel is willing to coordinate activities and transportation but they (hotel) heavily inflate the costs of both. I frequently travel, personal & professional (and I’m willing to spend for amazing experiences!) but this was one of the most egregious and annoying experiences I’ve had. Buyer beware. For one of our activities, we did the e-bike ride. It was several hours and $160 euros/person. One of the bikes was broken so we had to sit on the side of the road for an hour! It was not possible to get transportation to the hotel, per our guide. Another bike did not have the peddle assist working so it was a really intense workout. We did not enjoy the experience for the price, but the views of Tuscany were absolutely stunning & we enjoyed seeing around. We played paddle and fell in love with our experience at Centro Padel! Ask for Francesco!! Through our Padel experience, we ended to in San Miniato, a small town near by. We fell in love!!! Just incredible. A car service from the hotel is $50 euros each way but so much to see and enjoy - try essenza!!! All in all, we would definitely come back as a more informed visitor!

My wife and I stayed at Villa Petriolo for one night, and it was a great experience. The hotel is beautiful, with a charming atmosphere and well-kept grounds. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. The restaurant was a standout. Dinner was very good, with high-quality dishes and impeccable presentation, and breakfast offered a diverse selection of fresh, delicious options. The spa was a fantastic experience—relaxing, beautifully designed, and a true highlight of our stay. The room was perfectly adequate, though it was quite small for the price, which was a slight drawback but didn’t significantly impact our enjoyment. The only real negative was the electric car charger, which cost €45 for one night—a bit pricey and unexpected.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms were incredible - very elegant. The hotel grounds were stunning. We loved that the hotel had farm animals and was sustainable and eco-friendly. Excellent food. Amazing gym. Very helpful staff. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had the wonderful pleasure of getting married at Villa Petriolo in June 2025. We would highly recommend the venue to any couple looking to get married in Tuscany. Villa Petriolo checked every box that we were looking for in a venue: (1) the most beautiful Tuscan views with lush, rolling hills; (2) 5-star rooms and facilities that are elegantly designed, luxurious, romantic, and sparkling clean; (3) incredible food (many of our guests told us that it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had!); (4) beautiful pools and breathtaking pool views; and last but not least... (5) the most INCREDIBLE hospitality. I'd like to spend a moment to elaborate on the service/hospitality. I have never stayed at a hotel/resort/villa that cared SO much about each and every guest's comfort and experience. From the front desk to the bell boys to all the restaurant staff, we truly felt that we were treated like royalty. I'd also like to give a special shoutout to Elena, Villa Petriolo's event coordinator, who is the sweetest human and amazing at her job. She made the wedding planning process incredibly smooth for me and my wedding planner. Thank you for everything, Villa Petriolo. We can't wait to come back and relive our wedding weekend in your beautiful property!

This hotel was amazing! We had such a great time soaking up the sun in the pool and having sunset drinks at the bar. The room was comfortable and had most amenities. An iron had to be requested though and the TV required a streaming connection rather than local stations which can make it as good background noise etc. Service was friendly from check in to check out! Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with lots of farmed produce. Would have loved more continental options or pancakes! Must try the yoghurt. Restaurant was good for dinner and service. Few less quirky items would be recommended - the only ravioli was one with monkfish that I ordered but ate slowly.I'd highly recommend this and hope to visit someday soon again! A 9/10 stay!

Worst hotel experience. I stay at this hotel for two nights, while there’re multiple commercial photo shooting everyday. And one of the group, they had 4 photographers in a team. We were asked by one of those photographer who ran towards us to stay far away from this hotel area which was suppose open for every guest. Even we already keep a far distance ( at least 20meters) still asking for us to move as far as possible. I feel uncomfortable , and we are having our time at that moment. I think the hired photographer were warning us in a rude way. No hotel staff helps. Then, event shooting still continue at night. We unable to walk through the main villa, and asked not to disturb by a receptionist her name start by Mxxxxxxx.. while we were paying the bill at the reception desk. Overall not recommend!

We wish we had booked this for more than 1 day! Our room was upstairs and quite luxurious. Great bed, down pillows. As we were there in early May, we opened the window to cool the room down.||We ate dinner in the Tuscan restaurant, not the Michelin 1-star restaurant. Our meal was excellent. We had the sea bass carpaccio, the boar pasta and the pork cheeks, along with a bottle of Chianti reserve. Dessert was the pear and chocolate mousse, which was delicious. The whole meal exceeded our expectations, and we were shocked at how reasonable it was.||They have a beautiful pool, many places to relax and a building with a full gym.||Staff were great.||You need a vehicle, as it’s quite remote.|Parking is free and plentiful.
