Villa Sonnenhof Boutique-Hotel

Staying at this family-run hotel was like receiving a warm embrace. We felt incredibly comfortable from the moment we arrived, as if we were part of the family. The breakfast offered a delightful variety of options, providing everything needed and more to start the day. The rooms were not only super comfortable but also boasted spectacular views. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Cosy, family run, boutique hotel. Located on a pleasant 10 minute walk from the city center of Bad Reichenhall. |Our room was recently renovated and tastefully decorated. |The breakfast was one of the best we ever had: fresh egg dishes were prepared to your liking and amazing pancakes and waffles were served too. The cappuccinos were very good. |The owner of the hotel was very helpful and proactive and gave lots of good tips regarding sight seeing and restaurants. ||Highly recommended! 😊

We stayed at Villa Sonnenhof for 3 nights, and enjoyed our time there immensely! The room is clean and spacious; the one we stayed has a very nice terrace. The breakfast is amazing, with very attentive service and great food options. The surrounding is wonderful, quiet and green, excellent if you might enjoy a morning or evening walk without having to move your car. The hosts also gave us great tips about the places to visit in the town. So many interesting places to visit at a stone's throw. We would love to come back here, the nature and the hospitality are unforgettable!

This is a great boutique hotel in a great location. So much to see and do in the area and so close to Austria as well. The Fuchs family are all so friendly and helpful with advice, and the breakfast waffles are the best I've ever had! Our room was beautifully decorated and furnished with great views and a balcony to enjoy those early mornings and evening drinks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this delightful hotel.

Villa Sonnenhof captured us from the moment we arrived. The friendly welcome, the beautiful and spacious room and staff that goes out of their way to make you feel at home. The Breakfast is a real treat. The Hotel is Situated in a stunning location with beautiful views and walkable distance to Bad Reichenhall with its many cafes and restaurants. As a well seasoned traveler I advice this to anyone visiting the area. 5+ stars!!!!

Villa Sonnenhof is a hidden gem surrounded by mountains so there are amazing views everywhere you look. You can park easily in front of the hotel. Guests get a very warm welcome and a lot of tips about the area (where to eat, what to do,… ). The room was perfect : super clean, well equiped, nicely decorated, spacious and with a very good bed. Not to mention waking up with a mountain view, straight from your pillow. Best breakfast I have eaten in a hotel in a very long time : please try the omelet. And the waffles! Thanks for the wonderful night, I’ll be back.

Rooms are nice and spacious with great views. Bathrooms are especially nice with a large reason shower, thicc fluffy towels and luxurious amenities. The Fuchs family that hosts the hotel are very nice and eager to make recommendations in the local area. Nice wine and beer selection in the shared mini bar. In the website it mentioned that latest check in was at 6, but we were running late and we let the hotel know, and they were happy to check us in a bit later.

We only stayed one night, but would happily return for a longer stay in the future. The hosts are gracious, engaging and so hospitable. Breakfast was delicious--in summer they have a beautiful garden terrace for breakfast. Our room was comfortable--newly renovated bathroom, super clean room and modern furnishings. It is an enjoyable walk from the hotel to Bad Reichenhall. Hosts recommended a hike in the Klausbachtal near Ramsau--a fabulous suggestion for a sunny November day.
